Rylan hand touches the door knob ready to fling it open when indigo's high pitch voice stops them .
" Sir !!! " She runs to them panting
Liam scowls " what is it "
" Sir Miss Yvonne is at the receptionist desk causing a tantrum saying she won't leave untill she sees you " indigo said shrinking back in fear , his cold gaze piercing through her skin.
He scoffs " so you're telling me that you can't prevent an outsider from seeing them then you're totally useless "
Indigo gasps " no sir it's just that .... "
He cuts her short " Rylan check the room and give me feed back "
" Alright " he said and Liam leaves with trembling indigo following him closely
Rylan motions the bodyguards to follow Liam and he pushes the door open
He raises his brows confused , the only person in the room was pale looking crystal
" What are you doing here " he asks his eyes scanning the room
She looks at him embarrassed, she was caught hiding here by someone she always admired " errr h-hiding "
Rylan looks at her puzzled, he not know much about her ... Infact he has even forgotten her name , the only thing he knows is that she works in fiance department .
" It's crystal right "
She nods
" Why were you hiding from your CEO " he asks still suspicious
She bites her lips " I'm supposed to submit the review of the balance sheet today and I've not done that "
He scoffs, so was Liam having hallucinations or what ... " You're the only one here right"
"Yes I was on my way to the cafeteria" she said clenching her fist
Rylan nods still not fully convinced, he gives her one last glance before leaving
Crystal exhales looking very relieved , she thought she would faint from his intense gaze . " Scarl you can come out "
She crawls out from under the desk she was hiding still looking very shaken " that was close "
Crystal looks at her confused " why are you hiding from the CEO too , did he give you an assignment"
"Errr no it's just something personal" she said looking uncomfortable
" Alright, let's go to the cafeteria then , lunch break will soon be over " crystal said dragging her
CEO OFFICE
Liam bored gaze was on trembling Yvonne, she was looking so pale and scared , she knew that it was risky coming here but she had too.
" Why are you here " he said deadpanned
Yvonne manages to look at Liam and damn he is looking more handsome and dashing compared , crushing on him since the day Scarlett introduced him to her parents and the feelings got more deep.
Her mind hasn't been at rest ever since her mom said she saw Scarlett back in Toronto, losing him to her again will be a huge blow to her cause she has been trying everything possible to make him notice her .
" Are you going to talk or what" Liam said clearly irritated by her silence
She looks at him tongue tied , all the words she wanted to say flew from her head .... His handsome face gave her comfort somehow.
Liam scoffs and picks his phone to call in bodyguards, her presence was pissing him off .
" Scarlett is back in the city , my mom saw her yesterday" she blurted out
He looks at her , his expression unreadable " so... "
Yvonne stares in surprise that was not the type of reaction she was expecting " won't you say anything "
He smirks " I've have nothing to say , the door is that way "
She bites her lips , tears welling up in her eyes .... Liam is so not going to be interested in her .
Scarlett stood inside the two bedroom flat with an agent, he was showing her round the place and it looked cozy and comfortable.
" See everywhere is perfect for you and your son and this is a peaceful neighborhood " the agent said smiling
Scarlett nods , the place was okay and affordable plus it was 30 minutes drive to her work place and had a nice school where Aiden can attend
" I'll take it sir " she said still looking around
The agent grins " that is splendid, you can move in anytime you want "
She nods again deciding she will move in after she comes back from work .
LIAM VILLA
He is in a cold shower , he sighs feeling the cold water pouring on his body , Yvonne's words were ringing in his ears .
" Dares to return after what happened that shameless slut , sh better not show up in front of me unless"
He slams his fist to the wall .... Unwanted memories rushing in like waves
FLASHBACK
Liam cuddles Scarlett and places his head on her breast " best pillow ever "
She chuckles patting his hair , he behaved like a big clingy baby whenever he's with her and she so likes it . " Naughty boy"
" I learnt from the best " he said grinning looking up to her

Scarlett gasps " Liam my legs are sore no no ... "
He cuts her off slipping a finger inside her honey core " oh really and you're wet already "
She moans , his hands doing wonders while he kisses her collar bone .
END OF FLASHBACK
He storms to his personal bar wearing nothing but briefs and towel handing on his neck
" Fuck " he swears irritated that he remembers the sweet moments he had with Scarlett
He pours himself a glass of whiskey ignoring the continuous ringing of his phone .

Camilla sighs as she looks at her phone disappointed, she has been calling Liam for a while now but he is not picking up
" Don't add blush " she said to the makeup artists that was retouching her makeup for another shoot

" Should I visit him at the work place ... He might be angry but I'm going to do it anyway , I'm his fiancee after all . " She said looking at herself in the mirror, smiling at the beauty that stared back at her .
Rylan sighs and taps on the steering wheel of his car , the traffic jam was annoyingly heavy today and he was super tired . He was literally the last employee to leave the company because he finished his work late even Liam left super early today and that's was very weird of him.
His tired gaze scans the bustling streets, it widens when he sees a painfully familiar figure entering a motel
" No way " he mutters in disbelief and parks his car hurriedly and chases after the person.
Scarlett drags her tired feet to the receptionist desk to check in , she went to the new place from work without taking a rest and now she is damn tired .
" Scarlett! " A voice calls
She turns back to meet hia shocked gaze " Rylan "
He frowns still finding it difficult to believe that she has finally returned " I thought I'll never see you again "
Scarlett chuckles nervously avoiding his intense gaze " well I could say the same ... "
" Why are you here ... Do you want Liam to release the monster in him because of you , your betrayal cut him really deep " he said

Rylan scoffs , she still had the audacity to lie at his face even after four years " whatever, the main thing is that you should never show your face in front of him unless your done for "
His sharp eyes sees the familiar id card she was clutching in her hand as within a second he snatched it from her hand .
Scarlett gasps in surprise as he snatched it , she totally forgot yhya she was still holding her work id card , damn that will blow her cover
" Y-You work at R.E company in finance department!!!! " He said in shock
" This is so not good " she mutters looking down at her shoes
Rylan eyes flashes in anger and he yanks her towards him , she wince in pain at his strong grip " do you know the consequences of what you're playing with "
