She struggles to free herself " you're hurting me "
Rylan scoffs and let's go of her , she stumbles back slightly " now start talking "
" Look I never wanted to be here but this is what happened" she explains everything to him not leaving out a single detail
He looks at her surprised " so you're the one that company owner recommended to us "
She nods
" Unbelievable, I didn't even bother cross checking the resume files " he said groaning, Liam is so going to kill him
Scarlett sighs " I'm sorry for coming back into your lives believe me , I never wanted to ... But this job is very important to me and my --- " she suddenly stops releasing she almost said son
He scoffs " you're working in his company,in a very important department... It will be very hard for you to avoid him "
" I'll try my best , I promise to turn right if I see him heading my way and vice versa ... Be the first to leave the company and last to arrive. I beg you this job is important to me " she pleads almost tearing up
Rylan frowns, there is no way he will let her cry her crocodile tears but it is going to be very risky especially now that Liam is in a bad mood
" Look if he catches you , all the consequences will be on your head . I'm not going to help you , infact I'll pretend like I'm unaware of your presence so only you will face his wrath " he said
Scarlett takes a deep breath " yes I understand, I'm going to face all of it on my own *anything for my son* she thought
He scans her from head to toe almost with disgust , without another word he left .
" Another obstacle defeated" she said sighing in relief and heads to her hotel room.
Scarlett steps out of the shower wrapped in her bathrobe with a huge towel on her head. Her beauty is not something that can be ignored at all , those s+×y curves of hers were on display.
She sighs and seats on the bed feeling somehow scared to go to work tomorrow
" fighting scarl , we can do this. For Aiden" she thought looking at his picture that was her wallpaper and kisses it . She would have video called aunt shelby to see him but it's late already.
Staring at his picture alone gave her strength for tomorrow, she sniffs and wipes her tears trying to ignore the obvious resemblance between him and Liam.
" Liam you jerk " she cries out unable to bear the aching in her chest
" Look at the child you denied from the womb *sobs* why did you do it huh we were together for four years before I became pregnant, I even gave you my virginity then why , why did you suddenly deny the pregnancy and walk away ignoring the countless slaps and brutal kicks your mom who never liked me from the beginning did before finally kicking me out of your damn house out in the middle of a rainy night uh why !! " She said heartbroken, tears falling from her eyes like rain

Caspian sat in his study room going through the reports his assistant 'cedric' sent to him . The deal they made with a company brought lots of profits but it did not land him on the spot he was targeting.
Being above Liam in all things has always been his ambition but unfortunately Liam was undefeatable champion in the business world and it annoyed the hell out of him.
Why can't be more rich , famous and successful more than Liam . It pisses him off most when his old man compares him with Liam .
His mind goes back to the sweet lady he met on the plane and he smiled without knowing it
" she's the most beautiful woman I've ever seen " he thought still smiling
Starting from her long sliky dark hair and big dreamy eyes with the plumpiest and most juicy lips he has ever seen , just imagine how sweet and soft it will be when he finally kisses her , Her whole cute oval face was so angelic.
" Wait I told Cedric to give me feedback on her right " he thought frowning slightly and Dails Cedric line who picks it in one ring .
Caspian: Cedric the info about the girl we met on the plane two days ago or so .. where is it
Cedric: *breaks out in sweat , he was not expecting him to remember her again as he did with other girls* I'm sorry boss I'll do it now
Caspian: then do it quickly do you want your salary to be deducted? *He said harshly*

Crystal slipped into their department office trying to avoid her manager because she is super late . "You are reading from www.mhiztaemy.com.ng" She sat at her cubicle taking deep breaths trying to forget what just happened at the entrance.
" Yo what's up " Scarlett face pops up from behind suddenly
"Ah ! " Crystal almost screams in shock " you scared me "
Scarlett looks at her confused " I did ??? , anyway why are you late "
" Well it's so embarrassing for me " she said looking down
[FLASHBACK, FEW MINUTES AGO]
Crystal hurries inside the company's building scolding herself for staying late at night watching tv , she bumps into a hard chest from nowhere , scattering the files he was holding in the process.
" Oh I'm so sorry" she said bending down to pick it up quickly
" It's okay" his stern voice said clearly pissed off
She gasps in surprise " Rylan ! "
He smiles stiffly " now you know, damsel in distress .. I've work to do , see you later " he winks and he leaves
You guessed right , crystal blushed to deep to her hair roots

Scarlett giggles " mi girl is so lovesick "
" Stop it, I just have an ordinary crush on him " she said pouting
Scarlett raises her hand in the air " crush it is ... No objections " she said smirking and heads to her cubicle
" Crazy girl " Crystal said blushing
One hour later , Scarlett is typing the cash flow statement she has to submit today on her computer, her manger ' Thomas' tapped on her table
" Scarlett pls give this file to Hailey in strategy department " he said dropping the files on her table
She forces a smile on her face, trying to hide her hesitation " alright manager "
She leaves
At the entrance, Camilla cats walks in with two bodyguards. Dressed in a white floral dress looking like a sweet angel that descended from heaven, the innocent look on her face was like magnet that draws people close to her .
All the employees stopped what they were doing and bowed I'm respect to their future boss lady
" Good afternoon young madam " they chorused in unison
She nods and smiles clearly enjoying the respect they had for her , the bodyguards leads her to the vip elevator.
The employees started talking about her immediately

🗣️ Yeah the magazines did not capture her beauty enough
🗣️ Gosh I'm so jealous
🗣️ Imagine everything I dream of is what she's living
They kept taking non stop , within few seconds of her arrival , the news was all over the company. Every single person was talking about her
Scarlett is in the strategy department, she has given the file to Hailey and was listening to what Hailey was talking about when two ladies obviously from their department bursts in
" Did you hear ! " One said excited
Hailey stands up " spill it and quit yje suspense girl "
The second one smiles " the CEO's fiancee is here , and damn her beauty is never aging"
Hailey laughs " why will it fade when her husband to be is taking care of her , I heard that they're in love with each other madly and nothing can separate them "
" Awn that is so romantic" a girl names luna said
Scarlett quietly left in daze , their words ringing in her head over and over again. She was looking so pale as if she could faint at any moment.
" So he has really moved on uh " she mutters biting her lips to hold her tears
CEO OFFICE
Rylan smiles and greets Camilla " hi camie you're still looking more beautiful"
She smiles" thank you Rylan
He smiles " I'll leave now , see you two later "
Rylan steps out , frowning to see indigo evasdropping " what are you doing" he said coldy
She shifts back embarrassed " nothing"
" Good now get out " he said
She scurries away in fear
Inside the office Camilla frowns at his lack of response at their conversation
" Why are you even ignoring me huh , we're back to square one again " she said upset
Liam looks at her confused * wait we were in a square?? *
" I'm sorry " he said stiffly, he really doesn't see her as his fiancee
She pouts and goes to seat on his lap ignoring the look on his face
Liam groans " Camilla we're in the office "
" And do you think I care " she said still pouting " I just want to stay here like this
She rests her head on his chest inhaling his sweet scent
One hour later , at strategy department, the ladies there were still talking and bragging about Camille's beauty totally ignoring their work

Crystal rolls her eyes irritated, she wasn't a fan of Camilla at all , her gaze shifts to Scarlett who was staring blanky at her computer looking lost
" Scarl are you okay "
Scarlett nods standing up " yeah I need to use the restroom "
She leaves without a word
Camilla is walking hand in hand with Liam through the corporate hallway, Bodyguards surrounding them .
She blushes as she remembers how she snuggled in his strong arms and she felt secure and so warm .
" When will I see you again" she asks
Liam suppressed a groan " you will see me , don't worry "
Camilla bites her lips a little bit disappointed, her eyes sees a female figure not far from them heading their way and well she looks really pretty... She holds Liam's hand possessively.
Scarlett walks to her department like a devastated person, she sees bodyguards surrounding two people and she bows not even knowing who they were , not even bothering to look before bowing.
Liam glanced absentmindedly at the employee bowing and passed while Camilla smiles in triumph
He suddenly stops feeling his brain coming to live, he can recognize Scarlett from anywhere even though her face is covered and this person looks like no ... It is her , he takes long strides and reaches the employee still bowing.
* This body , this hair * he thought feeling his anger rising , the emotions he has kept buried for months surfacing
" What's going on? " Camilla asks not knowing why she was panicking , has he noticed her beauty and fallen in love with her immediately or he is lusting after her body .... Her mind was swirling with questions
Liam grabs her shoulders roughly ,forcing her to look at him , the world seem to stop as he sees those eyes that caused him pain , the one that betrayed him and still lied to his face . He hated her existence, despised her and loathed the day she will show up in front of him
" You " he growls
