Everyone was chatting in the room when King Luke and Queen Lala entered.

"Your Majesty," Mr. Daniels said, moving toward them.

"How is your daughter doing?" King Luke asked.

"Very well, Your Majesty," Mr. Daniels replied, and the rest in the room greeted them.

Just then, the doctor entered, looking around the crowded room.

"Wow, this place is too crowded," he said, chuckling.

"Doctor, can my son go home now?" Queen Lala asked, her voice firm.

"Um, yes, we can discharge him today," the doctor replied.

"Please do, I will sign the papers," Queen Lala said, moving toward Alex.

"Son, the doctor..." she began, but Alex interrupted her.

"I know, Mom, I heard it," he said, his voice unlikely, as he faced the doctor. "Let my father sign the papers, but I am not leaving," Alex said firmly, and the doctor nodded in understanding, as did King Luke.

"What do you mean you're not leaving?"

"Exactly what you heard, Mom," Alex replied. "I am not leaving until my fiancée wakes up."

"Lala, let him be," King Luke said calmly.

"Still the grumpy old leopard that can never change its spots," Elena said rudely, her eyes flashing with annoyance.

Queen Lala snapped at her, her face reddening with anger. "What did you say?"

"You heard me right," Elena retorted. "When will you ever stop your wicked attitude? This is the time your son needs your prayer."

"You don't tell me how to...."she began but Elena cut her off.

"Or what? When will you realize that karma has knocked on your door".She said.

The two women began exchanging harsh words, their voices escalating. The others intervened, trying to calm them down.

"That's enough!" Alex yelled angrily, his voice cutting through the tension. The room fell silent.

"Doctor, please send my mother out," Alex ordered, his voice firm and authoritative.

"Alex?" she called out, her voice tinged with hurt.

"Please, Mom, you're causing a scene here," Alex said, his voice firm but laced with frustration. "Everywhere was peaceful until you arrived. I'm asking you nicely, please leave."

Queen Lala stared hard at him, her eyes blazing with anger and hurt. She turned on her heel and walked away angrily, her heels clicking on the floor. King Luke rolled his head in exasperation and followed her out of the room.

"Please, everyone, can we give the patient some air?" the doctor asked, looking around the crowded room. "This place is too crowded."

They nodded in agreement and began to file out, except for Alex, who asked Nathan to wait behind. Nathan nodded and stayed.

"Nathan, please go home and get some of my clothes," Alex said. "I'll be working from here."

"Sure, I will," Nathan replied, "but on one condition."

"What's that?"

"Eat," Nathan said, his voice firm. "If you eat, I'll go to your house and get your belongings." Alex sighed tiredly at Nathan, his eyes pleading for understanding.

Later, at home, Queen Lala stormed into the living room, her husband trailing behind her with a calm, collected look on his face.

"I can't believe my own son will chase me out of the hospital," Queen Lala yelled, her voice echoing through the room.

"You started it," King Luke said calmly. "It would be best if you let it go."

"Never!" She snapped, her face reddening with anger. "You know this is all your fault. If you had stood up to defend your wife in the presence of her enemy, your son wouldn't have chased me out." King Luke rolled his eyes and turned to leave, but her words stopped him. "Go ahead, always running away from the truth," she taunted. "I can't believe I married a weak man."

"Lala!" King Luke snapped, his voice firm and authoritative, making the living room echo.

Diva rushed down from her room, concerned about the commotion.

"What? Am I lying?" She demanded, her voice rising. "You still have a thing for that witch, that's why you couldn't defend your wife."

"Don't push me to my limit, or it will be bad for both of us," he warned, his voice low and menacing, as he walked away angrily.

But Queen Lala kept nagging, her words cutting deep. Diva intervened, her voice gentle.

"Mom," she called out, trying to calm her down. "What's really going on between you and Dad?" She asked,  "Is it because of the issues on ground?"

Queen Lala remained quiet, boiling in anger, her face a mask of resentment.

**********

Days flew by, and everyone was still hoping for a miracle to happen for Naomi to wake up. Despite all the challenges, Alex never left her side or tried to step out of the hospital. He was always with her, 24/7, reading stories to her and proclaiming how much he loved and missed her.

Queen Lala had tried everything possible to make her son return home, but it was all in vain. King Luke also tried to make her understand her son's perspective, but she ignored him and kept nagging. Diva had tried to find out the truth behind the mystery between her family and Elena's, but her mother wouldn't say.

Jimmy and Alex were becoming close, talking like brothers and trying to reassure each other about Naomi's case. Nathan and Mia never failed to remain with them in the hospital, and Mrs. Ruth came with food for them, bringing moments of joy to the otherwise tense atmosphere.

One day, Jimmy was having a friendly chat with the guys when his cell phone rang. He excused himself and came out to answer the call. Just as he stepped out, a familiar voice called out to him.

"Jimmy!" The familiar voice called out excitedly. Jimmy turned to see his brothers, and his expression changed to a mix of surprise and tiredness. They rushed towards him and pulled him into a warm hug.

"We miss you, bro!" one of them said, their faces beaming with excitement. They pulled away from him, smiling broadly.

"What are you guys doing here?" Jimmy asked, his voice laced with surprise. "Mom didn't tell me you guys would be coming."

"We wanted to surprise you. Aren't you happy to see us?" One of the brother asked, his voice tinged with a hint of teasing.

"Yeah, right," Jimmy said, rolling his eyes good-naturedly.

"Mom told us you reconciled with your biological father. I'm so happy for you, bro," the third brother said, his face lighting up with excitement.

"Yes, I did," Jimmy replied, a warm smile spreading across his face. "It was a happy moment."

"And your sis? How is she?" another brother asked.

"Hmm, still waiting for her to wake up," Jimmy replied, his eyes clouding over with worry.

"Oh, don't worry," one of his brothers said reassuringly. "I know with time, she will wake up and she will be so happy to have you as a brother." Jimmy smiled, feeling a surge of hope.

"I want that day to come today," Jimmy said wistfully. "I just can't wait for her to see me and hold me in her arms."

"Yeah, Mom said she is very beautiful," Nicholas chimed in.

"Indeed, she is," Jimmy agreed, his eyes shining with affection.

"So, can we go in and see her now?" one of his brothers asked, his voice filled with excitement. But Jimmy blocked the door, a playful grin on his face.

"Nope," he said jokingly, trying to keep them out.

"Oh, come on, don't be selfish," Evans said, trying to push past him. "Let us in."

"Never," Jimmy said, smirking, and the brothers started dragging him, playfully fighting to get past him.

Finally, they pushed him off and managed to enter the room. Their eyes widened in surprise as they took in the scene before them.

"Oh my, is His Royal Highness and the governor's son," Nicholas exclaimed, his eyes fixed on Alex and Nathan.

"Um, who are you people?" Mia asked, confused, looking at the newcomers.

"They are my stepbrothers," Jimmy said, chuckling.

"Yes, my name is Nicholas, this is Evans, and Philip," he introduced them.

The others greeted them warmly.

"Oh, it's nice meeting you all," Nathan and Alex said in unison.

"Woah, so my sister is surrounded by guys," Mia said, smiling. "She doesn't only have a brother, now three extra stepbrothers. This is so amazing."

Philip's eyes were fixed on Naomi, his face filled with admiration.

"Oh my, she is so beautiful, just as Mom said. And her skin color is giving," he said, his voice filled with appreciation.

The others turned to him, amused by his comment.

"Indeed, she is," Nicholas said, nodding in agreement.

"Hey, big sis," Evans said, his voice filled with affection. "It's us, your stepbrothers. You really need to wake up soon. We really have a lot of things to share with each other."

"Exactly," Nicholas chimed in. "I am the good boy among the rest." The others rolled their eyes at him.

"Stop trying to act cool here," Philip said, teasingly. "Everyone knows you are the devil."

"Hmm, someone is jealous of my character," Evans said, grinning. "Are you afraid she will love me more than you?"

"She will definitely love me more," Philip said confidently. "Look, I am the youngest and the adorable of all."

The brothers started arguing, their voices rising in a playful banter.

Alex and the others watched them, amused by their antics. Jimmy stepped in, laughing.

"Alright, enough," he said, sighing tiredly.

"You see, Alex," Nathan said, smiling. "Naomi isn't alone anymore. She is now surrounded with people who truly love her." Alex smiled, feeling a sense of gratitude towards Naomi's family.
