Jimmy finally calmed down the situation a little, and Alex and the others were amused by the brothers' antics.

"Are they really like this?" Nathan asked, chuckling.

"Yep, always arguing," Jimmy replied, shaking his head.

"That's because Philip always uses his status to attract attention," Nicholas said, rolling his eyes.

"You can tell I'm more handsome and lovable than you," Philip said playfully, striking a pose. The others rolled their eyes good-naturedly.

"I have something to say," Evans said, getting everyone's attention.

"Can I take her on a date if she wakes up?" he asked playfully, his eyes sparkling with mischief. The others sighed tiredly at him, and Alex cleared his throat, his expression firm. "It's just a friendly date," Evans added quickly.

"I won't be saying that if I were you," Mia said. "Don't dream if you don't want to get into trouble. His Royal Highness is her fiancé."

Jimmy nodded in agreement, his voice low. "Yeah, and you'd do well to remember that." The brothers gasped in surprise, their eyes wide

"Really?" they asked in unison, and Jimmy nodded.

"Um... I was just joking," Evans said, laughing sheepishly. Alex nodded at him, a small smile on his face.

Just then, the door opened, and Elena entered, accompanied by Mr. Daniels and Mrs. Ruth. The brothers' faces lit up with excitement.

"Mom!" they called out, rushing to hug her. Elena wrapped her arms around them warmly.

"Why are you boys behaving like you haven't seen me for years?" Elena asked, laughing. They pulled away from her, grinning.

"We miss you," Nicholas said. "Big bro was being hard on us earlier."

Jimmy's eyes widened in surprise.

"Yes, he tried to prevent us from seeing our stepsister," Philip added, making a funny face at Jimmy.

"Liar!" Jimmy said, playfully arguing with his brothers. "Seriously, Mom, why did you allow them to come?"

"They wouldn't stop disturbing me after I told them what happened to your sister," Elena explained, smiling.

Jimmy sighed, shaking his head. "I was actually at peace, and now they're here."

"Just admit you miss our disturbance," Evans said, teasingly. The brothers laughed.

"I wish," Jimmy said, rolling his eyes.

"Alright, that's enough," Elena said, smiling. "You know your brother loves you a lot, and he won't stop talking about you guys when he sees the house is boring."

"We know," the brothers said in unison, grinning at each other.

"They are your kids too?" Mrs. Ruth asked, smiling warmly at Elena. Elena nodded, her eyes shining with love.

"Yes," she replied, her voice filled with pride.

"They are my annoying step-brothers," Jimmy said, rolling his eyes good-naturedly. The brothers scoffed, their faces mock-offended.

"We are not annoying," Evans said, pouting. "Can't you just introduce us special without adding the annoying word?"

"Why should I?" He replied, grinning mischievously. "Everyone knows you siblings of mine are a pain in the neck."

"That's why you can't leave without us," Nicholas said, smiling slyly.

"That's good, they all look handsome," Mr. Daniels said, smiling at the brothers. They turned to him, their faces lighting up with pleasure.

"You must be Jimmy's dad," Nicholas said, his eyes narrowing slightly as he studied Mr. Daniels' features. "You slightly resemble him."

Mr. Daniels nodded, and the brothers rushed to him, greeting him respectfully.

"I am happy to meet you guys too," he said, his voice warm with affection.

"Us too," they replied in unison, their faces beaming with happiness.

The environment was filled with love and understanding, a warm and welcoming atmosphere that put everyone at ease.

*********

At the palace, the royal household was eating at the dining table, the tension palpable. Diva noticed the awkwardness in the room, her eyes darting between her parents.

"Mom, when will Alex return home?" Diva asked, her voice concerned.

"Your brother has refused to come back home," Queen Lala replied, her voice tight with frustration.

"Why? It's been days now," Diva said. "He needs to go back to work."

"He is working right there in the hospital," King Luke said, his voice calm and measured.

"But Dad, that's not right," Diva said, her voice rising in protest. "He shouldn't spend all his life nursing someone who is not worth the chance."

"It would be best if you just shut up and faced your life as well," King Luke said, his voice firm, shutting down the conversation.

"She is right," Queen Lala said, her voice venomous. "I don't know why you won't believe me. Your son is being manipulated by that family."

"If you want this dinner to go peacefully, I advise you to shut up," he said.

Diva and her mother sighed angrily and resumed eating, the tension in the room thick and uncomfortable.

_________

Alex slept next to Naomi on the bed, holding her hand firmly while resting his head on the bed. Naomi opened her eyes weakly, scanning the room before managing to sit upright. She took off the drip from her hand and the nasal tube from her nose, her movements slow and labored.

She stood up from the bed, her legs wobbly, and began walking slowly towards the door. Alex woke up with a start, surprised to see the bed empty. He looked around frantically, his eyes locking onto Naomi as she walked towards the door.

"Naomi!" he called out. Naomi stopped still, facing the door, her back to him. Alex moved behind her quickly.

"Where are you going?" he asked, his voice soft and gentle. Naomi didn't move, her eyes fixed on the door.

The door opened, and light shone out from it, illuminating the room. Alex closed his eyes slightly, shielding them from the bright light. Naomi took a step forward, but Alex held her back, wrapping his arms around her tightly.

"Please, Naomi, don't leave me," he whispered in her ear, his voice cracking with emotion. "I won't survive without you. Please stay with me." He sniffed, refusing to let her go.

Suddenly, a force separated them, making Alex reel backward. His eyes widened as he saw Naomi almost at the door.

"Naomi!" he cried out, rushing to her with all his might. He grabbed her hand, pulling her tight into his arms, sobbing uncontrollably.

"Don't leave me, please stay with me," he begged, holding her close.

But it was just a dream. Alex snapped awake, gasping for air. The others, who had been with him in the room as he fell asleep on the couch, looked at him with concern.

"Alex, are you okay?" Nathan asked, rushing to his side.

"Naomi," Alex called out, his voice panicked. He rushed to the bed, feeling her hand. His face fell as he noticed she was getting cold.

"Naomi," he panicked, his voice rising. The others rushed to him, concern on their faces.

"What's going on?" Mia asked, her voice filled with worry.

"She's getting cold," Alex said, his voice shaking.

The monitor started sounding a high-pitched alarm, and everyone's panic grew. Nathan quickly rang the bell on the wall, and the doctor and nurses rushed in.

"Please, everyone needs to go out," the doctor said firmly.

"No, I'm not leaving," Alex said, his voice firm. Nathan tried to drag him out, but Alex struggled against him, refusing to leave Naomi's side.

Nathan managed to pull Alex out of the room, holding him close as he sobbed uncontrollably. Mia and her mother held each other, praying silently, while the others did the same, their faces filled with worry and concern.

After what felt like an eternity, the doctor emerged from the room, a smile spreading across his face.

"She is awake," he announced, his words sending a wave of relief and joy through the group.

Everyone's face lit up with smiles as they rushed to the doctor, eager for more information. Alex didn't wait for anyone; he sprinted into the room, followed closely by the others.

As they entered, they saw Naomi's eyes weakly open, scanning the room. Alex's face broke into a wide smile as he moved towards her, taking her hand in his and placing a gentle kiss on her forehead.

"You came back," Alex whispered, his voice filled with emotion.

"Who are you?" Naomi asked weakly.

Naomi's response caught everyone off guard. She stared at Alex, her eyes searching for answers. The room fell silent, with all eyes on Naomi, unsure of how to respond to her question. Everyone was surprised, even Alex, who looked like he'd been punched in the gut. Naomi's question hung in the air, a poignant reminder of the challenges ahead.
