Nathan and Mia were on the sofa in the secret room, and their eyes interlock deeply. He reaches out and gently brushes a strand of hair behind her ear, his fingers grazing her skin.
Mia's eyes flutter closed, and she leans into his touch. His eyes never leave hers as he leans in, his lips meeting hers in a soft, gentle kiss. The room around them melts away, leaving only the two of them, lost in the moment.
As they kiss, his hands wander, gently caressing Mia's face and neck. Mia moans softly and quietly, a testament to the intimacy of the moment.
Every kiss was like a whisper of promise, a gentle caress that made her heart skip a beat. Mia's soft moans were a symphony of pleasure, a melody that Nathan couldn't get enough of.
As they lay there, wrapped in each other's arms, the world outside melted away. The secret room became their own private sanctuary, a place where time stood still and all that mattered was the love they shared. Nathan's touch ignited a fire within Mia, a flame that burned bright and true. Every kiss, every caress, was a declaration of their love, a testament to the deep connection they shared.
Nathan's lips grazed the sensitive skin of her neck, and she let out a soft moan.
"Nat, Let me go back to my office," she whispered, her voice barely audible.
"You're not going anywhere," he replied, as he claimed her lips again in a slow, sensual kiss.
Meanwhile, outside the secret room, the secretary sat at her desk, engrossed in her work. She didn't notice that Mia was still in the office with Nathan. Her attention was focused on her computer screen when she saw someone walking towards the boss's office. She quickly stood up to stop the person.
"Excuse me, miss," she said, her voice polite but firm.
Diva, stopped and turned to face the secretary, a look of annoyance on her face.
"Yes, why are you stopping me?" she asked, her tone sharp.
"I'm sorry, Your Highness, are you here to see the boss?" she asked, her voice respectful.
"What kind of stupid question is that? Are you blind? I'm here to see my fiancé," she snapped.
"Pardon me, Your Highness, I didn't mean to be rude, but the boss didn't mention his fiancée would be visiting today," she explained, trying to maintain a professional tone.
"Are you crazy? What right do you have to stop me?" she hissed, before turning on her heel and storming into the office.
As she entered, she noticed Nathan's chair was empty, and she wondered where he was. Deciding to wait for him, she took a seat, her eyes scanning the room for any sign of him.
Naomi and Alex sat on the rooftop, enjoying their lunch together as they often did. They fed each other, their hands touching as they savored each bite. The atmosphere was relaxed, with a gentle breeze rustling the leaves of the nearby plants. As they ate, Alex spoke.
"I'm breaking my engagement with Elora." Naomi's eyes widened in surprise, and she was momentarily speechless."I don't want to go on with it anymore".
"You're sure about this?" she asked finally, her voice laced with concern. "I don't want to be the reason you're backing out of it."
"I'm doing it for my happiness. I've wanted to do it for a long time, but I just didn't have the courage. Now that I have my father and Nathan's support, I'm going to do it."
"But you're going to hurt a lot of people, especially your mother."
"My happiness matters. I've endured enough, and it's time to take the risk."
"I'll support whatever decision you make."
"The support I need from you is to believe in me and never let go of your love for me."
"I believe in you, and I'll never leave your side."
As they continued eating and feeding each other, their eyes met, and they shared a tender smile, the tension dissipating as they savored the moment together.
Back to Nathan's office, Diva was curious as she wondered why Nathan hadn't returned to his office. She pulled out her phone and decided to give him a call. Nathan and Mia were cozied up together on the sofa when his cell phone rang, shrill in the silence. He sighed, seeing Diva's name flash on the screen, and hesitated for a moment before answering.
"Aren't you going to answer that?" Mia asked,
"It's Diva, I don't know why she's calling," he replied, his voice low and cautious. Mia quickly sat up
"Princess Diva? Go ahead and answer it, maybe she has something important to tell you," she said, Nathan let out a resigned sigh and picked up the phone.
"Hey, Diva," he said, trying to sound casual.
"Nathan, finally you pick up! Where are you?" Diva's voice was bright and cheerful on the other end of the line.
"At work, why do you ask?" He replied, his tone neutral.
"I didn't see you anywhere, and I'm in your office as we speak. I've been waiting for a few minutes now,"
Nathan's eyes met Mia's, and she raised an eyebrow, her look questioning.
"You're in my office? "Why didn't you tell me you were coming?"
"I wanted to surprise you for lunch,"
"I'm sorry, Diva. I won't be able to see you now. I'm not in the office, and I don't know when I'll be back."
"Oh, too bad. Alright then, I'll take my leave," Diva said, her voice resigned.
"Okay," he replied, relieved. He hung up the phone, and Mia stood up to leave. "Where are you going?"
"To my office, I guess someone might be looking for me," Mia replied,
"No, you stay with me," he said, pulling her back into his warm arms. He started caressing her body, his touch gentle and intimate.
"Nat, stop. Your fiancée is...," Mia started to say, but Nathan cut her off with a passionate kiss.
"She's not my fiancée," he whispered, his lips tracing the curve of her ear. "You're the only woman I love, and you're my fiancée."
"Nat...," she whispered, her voice trembling.
"Stop talking," Nathan said, his voice husky with desire. He deepened the kiss, his lips devouring hers.

The next day, at the royal palace, everyone gathered in the dining room, laughing and chatting over a sumptuous meal. Elora and her family were present, and the table was filled with warmth and camaraderie, except for Alex, who sat calmly, focused on his meal. Even Elora's attempts to lighten his mood couldn't pierce his reserved demeanor.
"So, Your Highness, what is it you wanted to say?" Elora's father asked, Alex hesitated,
"Can we eat first before...?" But before he could finish, Queen Lala intervened.
"No, son, let's hear it. It's a family gathering after all."
"Come on," Elora chimed in, smiling at Alex as she felt his hand on hers.
Alex sighed, looked around the table, his father nodded for him to go ahead.
"Okay, I'm calling off the engagement with Elora," he announced, his words dropping like a bombshell.
The room fell silent as everyone's smiles turned to shock, except for the king and Elora's father, who had been privy to the news beforehand. The king had informed him of the decision and its implications.
Meanwhile, at home, Mia was in for a surprise as Naomi told about Alex calling off his engagement with Elora.
"What? He did that?" she asked, Naomi nodded. "Oh my," Mia breathed, her mind racing.
"Do you think he's doing the right thing? I'm scared it's going to get worse," she said.
"For going after what he truly wants, then he's doing the right thing. It's about time parents stopped fixing arranged marriages for their children," she said, and they both let out a deep sigh.
Back at the palace, the atmosphere was still reeling from the shock. The weight of Alex's words hung in the air, leaving everyone stunned and speechless.
"Son, what did you just say?" Queen Lala asked, her voice trembling with shock.
"Exactly what you heard, Mom. I'm calling off the engagement," he repeated.
Elora sprang to her feet, her face incredulous. "Is this some kind of sick joke? Are you playing a cruel prank on us?"
"Alex, are you seriously messing with us right now?" Diva asked.
"Maybe it's time we let the truth shine through," he said, his gaze locked on Elora. "We both agreed on this from the start. If neither of us felt it, we'd end it. Why the surprise?"
"Alex, have you lost your mind?" Diva exclaimed.
"This must be a nightmare. Someone, wake me up!" Queen Lala cried out, her hands clasped together.
"Alex, tell us this is all a joke," Elora's mother said.
"He's not joking. He's a grown man who knows his own mind," Elora's father said, his voice calm and collected, surprising his wife. Elora stood frozen, tears streaming down her face.
"I'm sorry, Elora. It's better we end it now," Alex said, his voice soft.
"Never!" Queen Lala's voice rose in protest. "This will never happen, not while I'm still breathing, Alex."
"He made his decision. Let him deal with the consequences," King Luke said, firmly.
"Dad, this is a disaster! Everyone knows he supposed to marry Elora," Diva said, her voice rising in distress.
As the argument escalated, a loud thud echoed through the room. Everyone turned to see Elora crumpling to the floor, unconscious. The room fell silent as they rushed to her side.
