Mabel and Sofia were dozing off in class, their eyelids heavy as the lecture droned on. Sofia's bodyguard watched with amusement as they struggled to stay awake.
He smiled knowingly and moved to them, his eyes scanning the room to ensure he wasn't interrupting. The students looked on, intrigued.
"Let me have your phones," he said politely, his voice low.
Mabel's eyes fluttered open, confusion etched on her face. "Why?"
The bodyguard's expression turned helpful. "You two are dozing off while the lecture is going on, so let me have your phones and record the teaching."
Sofia's face lit up with gratitude. "Oh, okay."
Mabel and Sofia handed over their phones, unlocking them before giving them to the bodyguard. He turned on the voice recorder and placed the phones on the table in front of them.
Mabel and Sofia smiled gratefully at him, relief written across their faces.
The bodyguard returned to his position, a hint of a smile still on his face. The students were amused by what he had done, including the professor, who raised an eyebrow but continued teaching.
Sofia and Mabel took advantage of the opportunity to take a nap, their heads nodding forward as they drifted off to sleep.

Later at home, Sofia was seated on the bed working on her assignments when she dozed off, resting her back against the edge of the bed. Shawn entered the room, a look of concern on his face, and moved closer to her. He gently laid her down on the bed, taking her notes and pen from her.
He smiled warmly at her, his eyes filled with affection, and left for the bathroom to freshen up.
Later that night, Sofia woke up from sleeping, craving warm milk. She saw Shawn was deep in sleep and didn't want to wake him up. She stood up from the bed and walked to the door, about to open it when Shawn's voice caught her.
"Where are you going?" he asked, his voice laced with sleep.
"I am going to get some milk."
He moved to her, caressing her face, his eyes filled with concern. "Why didn't you wake me up?"
"I didn't want to disturb you."
He smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners, and kissed her forehead. "You are not disturbing me, I will get you the milk." He helped her back to the bed. "Do you want it warm or cold?" he asked.
"Warm."She replied.
He nodded and walked away. A few seconds later, he returned with a glass of warm milk and handed it to her.
"Thank you." She gulped down the milk before handing the empty glass back to him.
"Do you need more?"
"No, I am okay."She shook her head, a contented smile on her face.
Shawn nodded, a warm smile on his face, and kept the glass on the table. He moved to join her on the bed, cuddling her close, and soon they both drifted off to sleep.

Days later, the three ladies came to their favorite cafe to have a good moment. Sofia looked sulky, her brow furrowed in concern.
Nina's face showed concern. "Is everything okay?" Sofia sighed, her shoulders sagging.
"What happened? Did you have a fight with Shawn?" Mabel asked curiously, her eyes wide with interest.
Sofia's expression turned wistful. "I wish it was that."
"Then what is it?"Mabel asked confusedly.
"It's been weeks now, and Shawn has refused to touch me."Sofia said , her voice dropped to a whisper.
"Why? Did you do something to offend him?"Nina asked surprisedly.
Sofia's face contorted in a mixture of sadness and frustration. "None I can remember. I guess my body irritates him, now that I'm adding up because of being pregnant."
"I don't think so. Why not talk to him about it?" Mabel said and, Sofia sighed, her eyes dropping.
Just then, someone interrupted them rudely from behind.
"Which one of you is Mabel?" The unfamiliar lady asked, her voice dripping with hostility.
The three ladies stared confusedly at her, wondering who she was.
Sofia's face turned icy. "Why not take a guess?"
"Who are you?"Nina's eyes narrowed.
The lady's face twisted in a scowl. "My name is Annabelle, and I am here to warn whichever one of you is Mabel to stay away from my man."
The three ladies stared at her, shocked by her audacity.
"Man? Which man are you talking about?" Mabel asked, her brow furrowed in confusion.
Annabelle's face twisted in a scowl. "I am talking about Troy. He is my boyfriend, so I don't know which one of you is Mabel, but I won't warn you again for the last time, britches." She turned to leave, but Sofia stood up, her eyes blazing with anger.
"Hey, you forgot something," Sofia said, her voice dripping with venom.
Annabelle turned back, a questioning look on her face. "What?"
Sofia's face contorted in a mixture of anger and disgust. "This." She gave Annabelle a sounding slap across her face. Everyone was shocked, including Annabelle, who felt the sting of the slap on her cheek. Annabelle eyes widened in shock, and her face turned red with anger.
Sofia's eyes turned cold and menacing. "That's for interrupting our moment. The next time you show your face here again, I will disfigure your face with acid."
"Did you just slap me?" she yelled, trying to retaliate.
But Nina and Mabel were quick to react. They attacked Annabelle, dragging her hair and causing her to scream in pain.
"This should also be a warning to you too. Troy is not yours, and it will be better if you back off." Nina said, her eyes icy cold.
"Get out of here!" she yelled in anger.
Annabelle stumbled backward, falling hard on her butt. She glared at the three ladies, her face twisted in anger and humiliation.
"You bitches, you all won't get away with this," Annabelle spat, feeling pain as she struggled to stand up. "I will be back," she growled, her eyes narrowing in a menacing glare. She walked away, avoiding everyone's gaze, her head held high in an attempt to salvage what was left of her dignity.
The three ladies laughed in satisfaction, their faces flushed with excitement. They continued their drinks, their conversation filled with laughter and gossip.

Later in the day, Shawn and Sofia were having their dinner, but Sofia wasn't touching her meal, instead, she was sulking, her brow furrowed in a scowl. Shawn noticed and asked, concern etched on his face.
"Are you okay? You don't like the food?" he asked.
Sofia's voice was cold, her eyes flashing with anger. "I am not hungry." She stood up, her movements abrupt, and walked away. He was surprised by her attitude, his eyes widening in confusion.
"Sofia, Sofia," he called, but she ignored him and left for the bathroom.
He stood up, a look of concern on his face, and followed her. He entered the room to see her lying down, frowning, her arms crossed over her chest.
He moved to her, his eyes filled with worry, but she turned her face to the other side of the bed, her face unyielding.
He sighed and moved to the other side of the bed, but she turned her face back to another position, her eyes flashing with anger.
"What's going on? Why are you angry?" He asked, his voice soft and gentle.
"Nothing, just leave me alone."
He sighed and climbed onto the bed, his eyes filled with concern.
"Please tell me what's wrong. Did I do something to offend you? Tell me, and I'll apologize. Please, Sofia," he said, his voice filled with emotion.
She snapped at him, sitting upright on the bed, her eyes blazing with anger. "Yes, Shawn! You did something hurtful to me!" she yelled, her voice laced with emotions.
"What did I do?" He asked, his voice soft and gentle.
"Do I look irritating to you? Is it because I'm adding up that you won't touch me? It's been weeks since we made love, and ever since then, you've refused to touch me."
Shawn's eyes widened in surprise, and he tried to explain and calm her down, but Sofia refused to listen, as She kept nagging, her voice rising in anger.
"Is it because I am losing my beauty? Did you find someone else to replace me?" She asked, her eyes welling up with tears, her face contorted in a mixture of sadness and anger.
His face showed relief that he could finally speak. "Of course not!" he exclaimed, his voice filled with emotion.
He sighed and tried to caress her face, but Sofia pushed his hand off, her expression unyielding.
"Just listen to me, I will never find you irritated," he added.
"Then why have you refused to touch me?" she asked, her voice trembling.
Shawn's expression softened. He caressed her face, his eyes filled with love.
"Because I didn't want to stress you," he explained. "You have been tired lately due to school and that. I miss touching you and making love to you too. I don't want you to be too stressed. I love you, Sofia." He kissed her lips softly, and they rested their heads against each other. "I am sorry if that hurt you," he added.
"I miss you, I miss your touch." She said, Her eyes filled with tears.
"Me too." He pulled away and stared into her eyes, his eyes sparkling with desire. "Should we do it now?" he teased.
Her face contorted in a mixture of laughter and annoyance. She pushed him off and stood up from the bed.
"No, I am not in the mood anymore. I am hungry." She ran out of the room, leaving Shawn smiling and rolling his head in amusement.
