Weeks later, three men trudged along behind their women, who were enthusiastically shopping for baby things at the mall. The women's faces were alight with excitement as they moved from store to store, picking out items that caught their eyes. Meanwhile, their men lagged behind, looking tired and exasperated as they carried numerous shopping bags.
Jeff let out a deep sigh, his eyes pleading for relief. "When will they end this shopping? It's been hours."
Troy shook his head, his brow furrowed in frustration. "I don't understand why they decided to shop for the baby when we don't even know its gender yet."
Shawn rubbed his lower back, wincing in discomfort. "I'm exhausted from carrying all this stuff around. My back hurts. It was a bad idea agreeing to go shopping with them."
Troy chuckled wryly. "A simple 'no' would have been better."
The three men stood there, watching their women with a mixture of amusement and exhaustion.
Jeff shook his head. "With the look of things, they'll shop till nightfall."
A few minutes later, their women returned, each carrying four extra shopping bags. They handed the bags to their men, who looked at them incredulously.
"Are you guys done shopping?" Shawn asked, hope etched on his face.
Mabel smiled sweetly. "Not really, this is all we need for now. Tomorrow we continue."
The men's faces fell in unison. "Tomorrow?" they exclaimed, shocked.
Nina raised an eyebrow. "Is there a problem with that?" Their men rolled their heads in exasperation. She clapped her hands together. "Okay, let's go! I'm famished."
The women walked away, chatting and laughing about what they were craving. Their men trailed behind, laden with shopping bags and wearing resigned look.

Some minutes later, they arrived at the cafe, where they were ushered to a vacant seat. The women's faces lit up with excitement as they sat down and ordered what they wanted.
Soon after their order was brought to them, they ate happily, chatting and laughing with each other. Their men watched them with arms and legs crossed, looking amused.
Troy raised an eyebrow, a hint of sarcasm on his face. "Are we even getting rewards for this punishment they're giving to us?"
The women continued eating, oblivious to their men's exhaustion. They were too caught up in their own conversation and laughter.
Mabel noticed their men staring at them and asked, her brow furrowed in concern, "Why aren't you guys eating anything?"
The men replied in unison, their faces deadpan, "We're not hungry."
Sofia teased, a mischievous glint in her eye, "Really? Aren't you guys tired from earlier?" The men sighed.
The ladies then huddled together, whispering among themselves. Their men looked on curiously.
Shawn's brow furrowed in suspicion. "What are you guys whispering about?"
The women disengaged themselves, their faces innocent. "Nothing."
Jeff's eyes narrowed. "You three are hiding something. Spill it out."
Nina sighed, a hint of a smile on her face. "Okay, fine. We want to go to the park after this." The rest of the women nodded in agreement.
Troy's face fell, his face incredulous. "Park? Aren't you ladies tired for today?"
The women rolled their heads in unison, their faces set in determination.

Later in the day, Shawn arrived home with Sofia carrying her on his back after they got exhausted from having fun at the park. Sofia's face was flushed with exhaustion, her eyes half-closed.
"Are we home now?" she muttered, her voice barely above a whisper, as Shawn climbed the stairs to their bedroom.
Shawn smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Yes."
He opened the door, and they went in. He gently laid her down on the bed, her body relaxing into the soft mattress.
"I'll make a warm bath for you," he said, his expression soft with concern.
He placed the shopping bags on the couch before heading to the bathroom. Her eyes fluttered closed, and she fell asleep, exhausted from the day's activities.
Shawn returned after running the warm bath, a towel slung over his shoulder. He moved to her, gently removing her shoes.
"Sofia," he said, tapping her gently on the shoulder. She murmured, her eyes still closed. "Come on, go take a bath," He coaxed, scooping her up in his arms.
He carried her to the bathroom, carefully undressing her before laying her down gently in the tub filled with foam. The fragrance of the liquid soap filled the bathroom, and her face relaxed, her body sinking into the warm water.
Shawn smiled, his eyes warm with affection, as he took off his clothes and joined her in the tub. She rested her back against him, her eyes still closed, as he started scrubbing her body gently, his hands moving in soft, soothing motions.
Meanwhile, Jeff and Troy wasn't left out on this as well, they run a warm bath for their women, dressed them up and cuddle them in their arms as they fall asleep.

The next morning, Troy walked out of the kitchen with a tray of breakfast, almost bumping into Leo.
"Good morning."Leo greeted him with a cheerful smile.
Troy replied with a warm smile. "Good morning."
Leo's eyes widened in admiration. "Wow, that looks delicious, did you prepare them?"
Troy nodded proudly. "Yes, I did."
"Aww, that's so cute. I guess there's no need to hire a cook when my darling brother here can do the cooking."Leo teased, his eyes sparkling with amusement.
Troy rolled his eyes good-naturedly. "Go to the kitchen, yours is there."
"Thank you very much," Leo said, and headed to the kitchen.
Troy shook his head, chuckling, and left for his room.
He placed the tray of food on the bed and moved to wake Mabel up from sleep. He kissed her cheek, and she murmured.
Troy's face lit up with a warm smile. "Wake up."
"Five more minutes."her voice was groggy.
Troy coaxed, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Come on, I made breakfast, your favorite." He helped her sit upright on the bed.
She eyes opened, and she looked at the food. "What's that?"
Troy pushed the food closer to her. "Your favorite, omelette with toasted bread." But Mabel's face contorted in disgust, and she turned her face away, looking like she was about to throw up.
"I don't want that, take it away," she said, her voice firm.
Troy quickly pushed the food aside, concern etched on his face.
"What do you want then?" he asked.
"I need a warm milk with two toasted bread." She said, her voice was weak.
"Ok, then". He stood up to leave with the tray of food, but Mabel stopped him.
"I want to prepare it myself," she said, her eyes determined.
Troy's face showed concern. "No, you stay in bed, and I'll prepare it for you."
"I don't want to eat the one you made, I want to prepare it myself."
"Is that what you want?"
"Yes."she nodded firmly.
She stood up, and Troy followed her as they left the room.
