General Macgonnel looks at her with a blank expressions... This girl looks nothing like him or his wife so what are they saying.
His gaze shifts to Yvonne's parents and he noticed something similar between them .
One of the soldiers step forward and whispers to his ear
" General sir, these people want to fool you "
General Macgonnel smiles and signals for him to step back and he does .
Yvonne smiles nervously and brings out the diamond pendant from her pocket .
" You gave me this daddy, do you remember"
Mary eyes widens in surprise, so she was with it all along.
" That brat " she mutters
General Macgonnel smiles and stands up . " How will I forget love come here "
She runs into his arms and they hug .
Ken was heart was beating louder than a drum , he can't believe that the general fell for that like hell, they're going to be rich again!!!
" I'm happy you two have finally met " he said forcing a smile , the general intense gaze on him was getting too much.
General Macgonnel chuckles patting Yvonne head . " Same here "

FINANCE DEPARTMENT
Crystal was busy in her cubicle arranging the revenue files when gee co worker ' jane ' interrupts her
" Hi crystal I've a message for you"
She looks up confused " a message for me ? "
Jane nods and hands her a piece of paper .
" While I was coming back from the Budget making department I met Mr Rylan and he asked me to give you this "
Crystal scoffs rolling her eyes, what the hell is he up to now .
" Did he say any other thing"
" Err no , he just handed it me and left "
She sighs " okay thank you "
Jane nods smiling and leaves
Crystal opened the letter and it read
Immediately this letter reaches you , come to my office right away.

" That bastard " she mutters standing up .
Crystal enters inside his office quietly , she bows lightly and greets him .
He looks at her trying not to sigh , the look on her face was blank and professional totally different from the one he used to see.
" Pls seat "
She nods and seats down .
Rylan brings out a stack of files from the drawer and hands it to her.
" This is the chart you submitted before, I'm done with it so give it to your manager"
She almost scoffs , it this the reason why he made her leave her office.
" Okay Mr Rylan , I'll do that "
He nods and watches her walking away , his heart heavy .
" Wait Crystal"
She stops and turns to him
" Yes Mr Rylan "
Rylan sighs not knowing what to say , he just wanted to see her smile again.
" Are you busy this weekend? "
She looks at him surprised, where is he leading this to .
" No sir "
" Well I was wondering if you could go to a movie with me "
Crystal smirks well that was sudden , how can he ask a girl he hates out .
" Mr Rylan why would you ask me out on a date have you forgotten what you told me before"
He gulps, every word he said to her that day was echoing in his head .
" I'm sorry Crystal, I swear I don't know what came over me ... "
" I see " she mutters not believing him one bit
She sighs rubbing her forehead " I don't see a reason for me to go out with you Rylan, it won't make sense cause I don't like you anymore... You killed my feelings for you "
" I'm sorry - "
" Sorry won't do anything, what has happened has happened and we move on... I advise you to do the same "
She turns and leaves without looking back.
Rylan slumps on his chair disappointed .
" This is all your fault, not very girl is like Ariel.... "
After close hours.
Scarlett stands up after arranging her desk , her gaze meets Liam who was busy on his laptop.
" I wouldn't mind leaving you Mr Liam "
He looks up and chuckles.
" I'm following you Scarlett "
She rolls her eyes " well hurry up then "
He pack up and they leave .
Scarlett sighs as she enters Liam's car , she originally wanted to use the bus but he refused .
" Your driver doesn't know my house "
He leans back on the car seat " just give him the address "
" Limelight avenue pls "
The driver nods and Zooms off.
Soon they arrived at Scarlett apartment.
Liam scans the place , it wasn't bad at all but he didn't find it conducive to raise a child .
" I don't have the money to rent or buy a mansion" Scarlett said reading his mind .
He sighs " let's just enter "
They walk to the front porch and she rings the door bell .
The Nanny opens the door .
" Oh ma'am you're back " she said smiling.
Scarlett smiles and they enter inside " where is Aiden "
" He is updating playing jigsaw puzzle "
" Aiden darling mommy is back " Scarlett yells
His fast and tiny footsteps were heard rushing down the stairs and he catapults himself to her body .
" Mommy ! "
She kisses his cheek " I've missed you baby "
The Nanny bows " I'll take my leave now ma'am, whenever you need me just call "
" Of course " .
She leaves .
Aiden hugs her again, his gaze meets Liam who was sitting down quietly on the couch.
" Mom you brought *pauses, he wanted to say dad but he remembered what she said* kind Mister home .
She chuckles patting his hair
Liam heart felt heavy , it's all his fault all this is happening.
" Yeah I'm here to see you "
Scarlett sighs and drops him gently on the couch next to Liam . " Baby this is your father "
He looks at her in surprise " really, he's my dad "

Aiden walks up to him and Liam carries him on the lap " I'm happy to have a dad "
Liam rubs Aiden's his hair feeling more guilty, how will he explain to him that he denied him before birth and maltreated his mom , Scarlett was kind enough not to say anything about it.
" I'm not going to leave your side son "
He smiles cutely snuggling closer into his arms " where were you all this years "
Liam stiffens, he wasn't expecting this question, he looks at Scarlett who was looking at him with a blank expression on her face .
" I'm sorry for leaving you and your mom ... From now on I'm going to be here for you two and make up for all the times we've lost"
Scarlett heart beat increased , she knew the only reason Liam finally believed her is because he saw Aiden of not they would still be in square one .
But still it's nice to imagine her and Liam being lovers again .
Aiden smiles and seats up looking excited. " There's so many game we could play together and cartoons to watch"
" Well we better start now "Liam said carrying him upstairs.
" Mommy will you join us "
Scarlett smiles and kisses his head " sorry but no , I've to cook for us remember "
" Ohhh, cook fast and join us " he said
" Daddy have you tasted mommy's food , it is the best .. specially made in heaven "

She eyes him and heads to the kitchen while they go upstairs laughing.
MACGONNEL MANSION
Yvonne mouth drops open as she enters the mansion, it was so magnificent and everything screamed money .

General Macgonnel sighs seeing the greedy look on her face . " The servants will show you your suite and other things that belong to you "
The bulter steps forward bowing " welcome home young miss "
She smiles feeling overwhelmed finding it hard to believe that the general fell for their trick.
General brings out a black card and hands it to her " have this dear and buy anything you want "
Yvonne gasps in shock as she took the card , this card is only owned by three people in the world and he is one of them .
" Thank you father "
He smiles " I've something to attend to , I'll see you later "
" Bye " she said watching his retreating figure .
The bulter bows " miss this way to your room please"
She smirks and catwalks upstairs ° so this is all what Scarlett want to have , no way I'll make sure she never gets it °
OUTSIDE
General Macgonnel sighs and enters his car .
" Sir what are you going to do with her "
His bodyguard 'Ric' said
" They will lead me to my daughter and I will teach them a lesson for trying to fraud me , keep an eye on her and her parents"

GALENIN ENTERPRISE
Cedric is giving Caspian feedback about the project and partnership deal they had with Greenville enterprise.
" So sir our stocks has increased by 6% and we have more partnership requests from other companies "
Caspian leans back on the chair smiling, their efforts is not in vain . " What is our position in the business charts "

Cedric gulps shifting back " since that auction incident sir "

After all the efforts he put in this project, it still didn't take him anywhere .

The man enters slowly, trembling slightly.
Caspian smirks scanning him, this type of person will be very easy to work with .
" You're an employee in Meyer's family banquet?"

He smirks and signals thean to come closer .

LIAM'S PRIVATE PENTHOUSE
Liam decided to stay here tonight to avoid Camilla cause she doesn't know about here
He sat in his study room watching the videos that Aiden made with his phone again .
" My son " he mutters feeling proud
His mind went back to how they had fun in Scarlett's apartment, Aiden never let him out of his sight so he had to stay until he fell asleep.
" What am I going to do " he mutters feeling confused.
All the feelings he had for Scarlett was buried but now he knows the truth he's not even sure about them not to talk of Scarlett, he's sure that she hates him .
" If I had believed her or calmed down and supported her during the pregnancy period I would have seen for myself that she wasn't lying but my stupid anger and pride prevented me " he mutters sighing.
He is lucky that Scarlett has allowed him into Aiden's life but into her heart will be a difficult case cause she is still hurt .
His phone rings and it was Rylan.
Liam : Hey
Rylan : you and Scarlett suddenly disappeared after work, is there something I'm not aware of
Liam :*sighs* I went to see my son
Rylan: *gasps* she has agreed to let you be with Aiden
Liam : yeah but he will remain under her custody
Rylan: of course he will , why would Aiden stay with you if Scarlett is not around
Liam : just shut up
Rylan : *smirks* anyway what are you doing to do about Camilla, you know she won't accept Aiden as her son
Liam : who the f+k is Camilla, my son has one mother and that is Scarlett, i would never do something like that to her
Rylan : hmmm I see , are you going to cancel the engagement
Liam : yes that is my next step , I just need a reason to do so cause if I just call it off , the media would hurt Scarlett and my son .
Rylan : yeah that's true ... Anyway the invitation list of people attending the Meyer's family banquet is out
Liam : oh really, I did not notice
Rylan : lot of people were invited even the president and his son .... General Macgonnel was also invited and you of course followed by me and other people. We're expected to bring a date too
Liam : *groans* I can't afford to appear in public with Camilla again
Rylan : *smirks* it doesn't have to be Camilla my friend

The next morning everyone on social media was talking about it , crying to have an invitation too . Even famous celebrities that wasn't invited were begging on their live stream to be invited.
Only famous and rich people from all over the world were invited.

Scarlett enters yawning, she was still tired and wanted more sleep but there's work to do .
She pauses in surprise, Liam was on his seat already which is very unusual of him cause she always arrives first .
" Good morning sir "
He nods not looking at her .
She shrugs and drops her bag on the desk .
" Scarlett"
" Yes sir "
" Come here "
Scarlett walks to his desk puzzled was that a request or command.
" Is there any problem sir "
He scoffs " drop the act , we're alone "
". Err no , we're at work sir so it's right do it "
Liam stands up " you will accompany me to Meyer's banquet"
" What " she yells shocked , he is supposed to bring his fiancee not her .
" Yeah , you're going as my date "
She shakes her head , what will the world think of her . " No sir that is impossible, I'm your employee not fiancee"
Liam smirks and walks up to her , she instinctively steps back but he grabs her by the waist and drops her on his desk .
" Oh my gosh" she mutters feeling her face turning red
" Sir this is improper, get of me you pervert"
He smirks " we're at the work place why would you say that word to me "
She gulps feeling his hot breath on her face .
Liam cages her in his arms giving her no room to escape.
His mouth found her collar bone and he bites it gently.
Scarlett jerks feeling heat rushing through her body , it has been long she felt like this .
" Just admit it flower, your body wants me "
His hand reaches under her blouse and pinches her n+ple.
" Damn you ain't wearing a br@"
Scarlett moans feeling wet already " s-stop "
" You want me to what .." he said drawing circles on her n+ple and pours kisses on her neck .

He smirks and unhooks her bra.
