FEW HOURS AGO
Aiden stirred in his sleep and opens his eyes slowly , he noticed a figure watching him through the window .
" Who are you"
The figured steps into the moonlight watching him closely.
He looks at the man curiously , it was as if he was staring at a older version of himself .
" Why do you look like me mister"
Liam eyes were getting wet , all the memories of how he rejected and chased out Scarlett because of the pregnancy believing that she was trying a pin another man's child on him ....
How can he forget what the doctor said the last time he visited that there is a 2% chance he can impregnate a woman so he concluded that he was impotent missing the important information.
" F+k my gene " he mutters reaching out to ruffle Aiden's hair and damn it was full and thick like his own .
Liam smiles and seats next to Aiden on the bed " I'm your dad , that's why the resemblance is there "
He frowns cutely " mommy said my dad is dead "
" Oh my gosh" Liam said rubbing his forehead, she really wanted him dead all this while
" She made a mistake, my dear Aiden , follow dad and he will take you see mommy"
Aiden seats up excited " and you will make mom carry me to her work place "
He stares at him surprised " of course, anything for you"
" Let me tell grandma then " Aiden said standing up
Liam carries him up " no son she won't let you come so let's go and see mom first "
" Okay " Aiden said yawning and snuggles closer to his chest .
Liam smiles lightly staring at the fragile and cute child in his arms , there's no need for a DNA test when all this resemblance is obvious.
PRESENT TIME
" Aiden come here right now " Scarlett said frowning
He pouts his lips and walks up to her .
" Don't sco- " Liam starts to say but she cuts him off .
" I'm talking to my son Mr Reynold" she snaps and bend down to Aiden's level .
She touches his hair " pumpkin why did you follow a stranger "
Aiden looks at her " but he said he's my dad mommy"
" And you believed him " she said scoffing
Liam sighs " I'm not that dumb not to know that he's my son Scarlett "
She laughs " so you were dumb when you said he's not your son four years ago "
" I'm sorry , I thought it was impossible for me to impregnate a woman because of my gene that's why I doubted you " he said sincerely
Scarlett chuckles " so you're impotent, that's new "
" I thought I was until I saw Aiden "
She holds Aiden protectively " you're still impotent Mr Reynold, Aiden is not your son . Don't even think of taking him away from me "
Liam sighs , he really had no thought about that cause Aiden would not be happy and he only wanted his happiness " I would never try that "
Aiden looks at the two of them confused, he was not really understating what's they're saying.
" Good , now Aiden aunt shelby will come and pick you up ... "
He frowns and steps back
" No mom I want to follow you to where you're staying "
Scarlett sighs " baby you've school today "
" I'll take care of that , he will be put in the top schools in Toronto where you can look after him yourself " Liam said heading towards them .
She scoffs" you've done enough me Reynolds "
" Mommy don't you want to stay with me "
" I do baby but-"
" Then let me come with you *pouts his lips* I don't want to stay without you anymore
Scarlett sighs ,did they stay up all night rehearsing this . " Fine "
" Yay " he jumps on her body happily.
Liam smiles is about to pat Aiden's hair but Scarlett jerks his hand away eyeing him .
" I want Aiden to be hidden from the press cause I'm not reading to face criticism from you and your fiancee fans and also stay away from us " she said
He sighs " I can fulfill that first one but the second is impossible... I've already apologized and explained to you why I had doubts about the pregnancy"
Scarlett scoffs " all the pain you caused me especially your mom , do you think I'll forget about it so easily "
" Not to talk of the pain you also caused me when I arrived at Toronto, y'all treated me like I was some betrayer "
Liam looks away in guilt , she was right in very thing that she said so being angry with him was needed .
" I'm sorry Scarlett"
She smirks and carries Aiden in her arms ignoring him " come on pumpkin, let's say goodbye to aunt on the phone "
Aiden wraps his arms round her neck and waves to Liam ...
" Bye bye mister " he said cutely
Liam stiffens in shock, he was not expecting Aiden to except him soon as his dad but hearing this hurt him deep .
Few hours later they leave for the airport
EASTERN QUEBEC, DEEP FOREST
General Macgonnel lead his men swiftly in the terrorists hide out , they were like ninjas in the dark night .
He signals soldier 1 to sneak closer to the terrorists and throw a smoke bomb to them.
Soldier 1 nods and sneaks like a thief in the night , his hardened eyes were glued to the remaining terrorists sitting round the fire discussing in low tunes .
He throws the smoke bomb in their middle startling them and smoke filled the entire place.
" We're under attack" one of them yells loudly and tried to carry his gun but a bullet from general's gun rammed into the his fore head and he dropped dead instantly.
General Macgonnel signals his men and they start firing bullets immediately, this wasn't a kill or capture mission it was a kill on sight mission .
Some of the terrorists who were unarmed cause they were not expecting the attack tried to escape but were shut down immediately.
" Spare not one of them soldiers" General Macgonnel yells using the back of his gun to knock one unconscious and still shot him in the chest.
Memorial of how this terrorists shot his wife dead leaving an infant for him to take care of , rage filled him and the number of his kills increased.
One hour later , dead bodied were everywhere, scent of gun powder and blood lingered in the air. The soldiers search for any survivors so they can send them to hell easily.
General Macgonnel sighs exhausted, his uniform was stained with blood but they were not his , some cuts were on him but it wasn't serious.
" They're all finally gone Rina , you can rest in peace now " he mutters kissing his diamond bracelet.
TORONTO, ONTARIO.

Crystal was going through the files on her desk when the manager Thomas came and dropping some charts on her desk .
" Manager ! " She said surprised
He smiles " don't worry I'm done with these , I just need you to submit it to Mr Rylan "
Crystal frowns , why is this man always sending her to Rylan's office and she's the only one he sends .
" Sir I'm super busy *points at the stack of documents on her desk * you can send Lilith , she will be very happy to do it "
He glares at her " Mrs Crystal this is work related, you and Rylan beef can be solved outside .... Go and submit this to him or do you wanna submit it to the CEO instead "
She stands up immediately " no way , I'll go and submit it to Mr Rylan "
" Well go ahead then "
She takes the charts and leave .
RYLAN'S OFFICE
He is busy filling the reports he needs to submit to Liam who just back not quite long ago .
Crystal enters quietly and bows " sir manager asked me to submit this to you "
" Which manager " he said not looking at her
She bites her lips trying to ignore how handsome he looked right now .
°Crystal this guy broke your heart so having this thoughts about him is not allowed ° she thought squeezing her skirt .
" Err manager of finance department sir "
Rylan nods , his eyes still on the files .
" Drop it on that chair "
She nods on keeps it on the chair beside her .
She bows , wondering why he was acting so professional which was very unusual of him .
Rylan looks up as she left , it took him every energy not to stare at her fave or try to talk to her .
He always felt like pushing her aside is the right decision but now he's not so sure of that .
Crystal sighs as she walked through the corporate hallway, Rylan's behavior was making feel somehow sad .
This is what she wanted right , for him to leave her alone . But why is she feeling like this, it's not meant to happen.
" Well who do we have here , the rejected lover , lemme guess you were turned down again " a female voice said from behind.
Crystal turns around and rolls her eyes , great it is the perky secretary
" Are you done barking indigo "
She laughs " you're calling me a dog whore "
" Any how you see it idiot oh I mean indigo... " Crystal smirks and walks away .
Indigo felt her anger increasing at that word " how dare you call me that "
She drags Crystal back by the hair and soon the two ladies started the hair fight .
Crystal who was originally upset was more than happy to see someone to pour that anger on , she held indigo's hair right from the roots and dragged the heavenly life of it .
" You're a bi+ch " indigo yells trying to drag her hair but unfortunately Crystal packed her hair in doughnut style so it was hard for her to drag any hair .
Rylan stops dead surprised, he was holding the reports and rushing to Liam's office when he saw that scenario.
" What's going on " his voice booming.
They separate, each of their faces was red and they were panting seriously.
" I'm sorry Mr Rylan" Crystal said bowing, she bites her lips I'm embarrassment... Why won't he turn her down when she was always fighting.
Indigo bows too , her hair no scalp was aching " forgive me Mr Rylan"
Rylan smirks and walks up to indigo , he cages her two hands in his like a criminal.
" Come-on Miss stripper, I believe you've not dragged this bitch hair go your satisfaction"
Indigo's mouth dropped open in shock, what the hell is going on here ..
" That will be my pleasure" Crystal smirks and attacks indigo's hair again , more fiercer this time around.
Indigo screams in pain , she struggles to free herself but Rylan's grip was super strong. She felt like passing out from the pain .
After some seconds Crystal stops , the smile of satisfaction on her face .
" Next time you won't hesitate to stay away from me " she said and catwalks away .
Rylan smiles clearly proud of her ° that's my girl °
He lets go of crying indigo and walk away like nothing just happened.
LIAM'S OFFICE
Rylan enters smiling " hey workaholic guy "
He stops as he sees a dejected Liam sprawled on the couch .
" What happened * looks around* where is Scarlett "
Liam smiles tiredly, his head was aching seriously from all the thinking . " I sent her home "
" Is there a reason why you did that " Rylan said dropping the reports on the desk and comes back to seat next to him .
He sighs rubbing his head " I've messed up Rylan , big time "
Rylan seats up impatient " tell me what happened guy , you're keeping me in suspense "
Liam brings out his phone and shows him the video Aiden made with him when they were waiting for Scarlett in the sitting room .
" Oh my God " Rylan mutters his eyes as wide as watermelons ... The resemblance between the two was very obvious, his eyes went from Aiden to Liam and back .
He groans , feeling the weight of what just happened... This means Scarlett never betrayed him , they hated the wrong person all these years, now how will she forgive them .
" I thought it was impossible for you to impregnate a lady "
Liam sighs " I thought so too , the doctor said that I've only 2% chance "
" What !! , that doesn't mean you're your family gene will prevent you from having a child , are you dumb the doctor said 2% Chance, meaning there could be hope " Rylan yells
He runs his hands through his hair " it's not my fault , it took dad years before they could have me so I thought mine will be hard too "
" So what are you going to do now uh , don't even think of taking that child away from her "
Liam sighs " no no I'm not doing that , I'm trying to convince her to let me be a father figure to Aiden "
" Aiden ? "
" Yeah that's what she named him "
Rylan leans back on the couch " what of Camilla, will you let her go and try to win Scarlett over or you just tell her and continue your engagement "
He groans " that is what I don't know ... Scarlett hates me more than anything so I'll just focus on being a father to Aiden, Camilla or the social doesn't need to know .. I'll just tell my parents hoping they can stop pushing Camilla to me "
" I don't blame Scarlett for hating you anyway " Rylan said sighing.
FINANCE DEPARTMENT
Crystal sat at her cubicle, exhausted but happy , the move Rylan made shocked her . She was expecting him to punish them or suspend them something like that but instead he sided her and let her deal with indigo very well .
" Ok don't let this small act make you fall again, this heart has been broken more than enough " she mutters picking up her phone to chat Scarlett.
Crystal 💬 Hy bae are you back in Toronto
Scarlett 💬 yeah I came back few hours ago
Crystal 💬 then why ain't you here or 😨 did he fire you
Scarlett 💬🤣 no , he asked me to go home and rest
Crystal 💬 really! That's sweet
Scarlett 💬 don't even think about it , it's just a friendly gesture cause he now knows about Aiden
Crystal 💬 💀😨 what! You told him
Scarlett 💬 you know what , after work just come over to my place for a sleepover, I'll fill you in

SCARLETT APARTMENT
FEW HOURS LATER
She sat with Aiden on the floor playing puzzle , ever since they came back he had refuse to let her out of his sight .
" mom this dinosaur puzzle is great , can we do this everyday "
Scarlett smiles and pats his head affectionately " anything for you baby "
The door bell rings.
She stands up and walks towards the door " oh it must be Crystal.
" Baby ! " Crystal squeals as soon as the door opened
They hug each other ..
Crystal pushes Scarlett away gently " where is my baby "
" He is in this sitting room , let's go "
Aiden looks up looking at the familiar lady that entered .
" hi " he said going to hug her
" Aww he's so cute " Crystal said hugging him back and pouring kisses on his face
" Scarlett why are you so ugly "
She rolls her eyes and seats down next to them .
Aiden was curled up in Crystal arms , you can tell that he likes her .
" So gist me , I'm dying to hear everything"
Scarlett sighs and explains everything to her...
She looks at her surprised " how did he find out where your aunt lives "
" I really don't know, maybe he sent someone to follow me something like that " Scarlett said shrugging
Crystal smirks " I like the frypan that aunt hit on his empty head. *Laughs* I wished you filmed that "
She smiles " I was not expecting something like that to happen ... It came suddenly and now he wants to be a father to Aiden "
" Oh really, I hope you won't give in easily, show him pepper... All the pain he caused you make sure you give it back to him x10 " Crystal said
She smirks " trust me , I'll make him regret * notices Aiden is already asleep*. Oh pumpkin is sleeping already lemme put him to bed "
Scarlett carries Aiden gently and heads to her room and puts him to bed .
" So is it possible for you two to fall in love again " Crystal asks as she entered the sitting room
She sighs sitting down , her eyes were sad and she remembered all yhe the romantic moments she had with Liam .
" I don't think so Crystal, I'm too hurt to love him again and besides he's engaged already, do you want netizens to criticize the life out of me "
Crystal sighs looking at her " both of you are hurt , fate is really cruel .... He thought you betrayed him and pushed you away and you thought he pushed you away because he didn't want the pregnancy.... That is the misunderstanding.
She smiles sadly and leans back on the couch closing her eyes .... Her mind swirling in thoughts .
REYNOLDS MANSION.
Stephen sat with Liam in their magnificent living room, he sips his tea while reading magazine while Liam stared at him blankly .
" So Liam who is The girl to you that you ignore your fiancee"
Stephen never called Scarlett by her name even when they were still together, he always call her The girl .
" She's.... " Liam stops wondering how he could say , she's the one that we kicked out in the middle of the night under the rain just because she got pregnant for him when they thought it was impossible.
Stephen looks at him puzzled " who is The girl to you Liam , or have you forgotten that she tried to pin another man's child on you "
" That's not true " he mutters
" Eh "
Evelyn walks down the stairs , she was busy with her night skincare routine and didn't know when Liam arrived.
" So the brat of a son is finally here " she said and drags him by the ear instantly.
" How dare you neglect Camilla because of your ex that useless whore ..... Do you know how Camilla has suffered because of you "
" Ow ow mom " he yells freeing himself
She glares at him " have you forgotten that Camilla is your fiancee"
Liam frowns " she is your fiancee not mine , I don't know why you keep forcing her on me "
They look at him surprised
He sighs and brings out his phone " you need to see this"
Shows them the video of him and Aiden , the same one he showed Rylan.
Stephen breath got seized for a second as he stared at the cute face of Aiden who was singing nursery rhymes happily with Liam in the video
" What , who is this "
Evelyn plays the video again her hands trembling, looking at Aiden brought back memories of Liam when he was a little boy , how they sang nursery rhymes too ... Liam is everything too her , seeing Aiden brought tears to her eyes .
" That is Scarlett son 'Aiden' " Liam said sighing.
They gasps in shock .
" So she was really pregnant for you *groans* how can I forget that there is a chance for you to impregnate a lady " Stephen sighing
Evelyn bites her lips feeling super guilty , she was the one that hurt Scarlett the most not to talk of the abducting part .
" What are we going to do Stephen , we've hurt her a lot , I'm sure it won't be easy for her to forgive us " she said almost in tears, she always wanted a grandson but now he's here but she can't see him
Liam opens his mouth to reply when a text enters his phone it was from Felix
Felix 💬 sir I've investigated further about the men that abducted miss scarlett and I discovered that the uniform they were wearing matches your mom's bodyguard uniform so I guess it has something to do with her (a picture of the uniform )
His eyes widens in shock , no way his mom is the one that sent her bodyguards to abduct Scarlett f+k ! Why won't she hate him more and more .
Stephen noticed the expression on his face " what happened"
Liam walks up to Evelyn, his face as cold as ice.
" Did you send your bodyguards to abduct Scarlett"
Stephen mouth drops open in shock since when did his wife become like that .
" I - I "
Evelyn stutters her heart beating fastly.... It has been long she has seen this side of him .
" Did you do it ! ! " He yells angrily
She jumps back in fear crying seriously....
