"No! There must be a mistake somewhere! Island can't do that! She doesn't make a move without my permission so tell me why she would put the beans on their clothes! Someone must have messed with the cameras! That's not Island!" Donna Felicia defended instantly.
"Felly-Felly, we're all watching this in 4D right now, and you're still saying it's unreal? Are you for real?" Bobby said with a mocking squint.
"And no one's gonna tell me that you didn't order her to do it. You're her master, of course she follows your rotten orders. Are you crazy?" Bacardi squinted too, mocking.
"No don't talk to mother that way! Mother wouldn't have sent her to do anything! Island is a bîtch on her own so don't get mother's name involved!" Sandra snapped.
That was it. A thunderstorm happened, but not the real one.
It happened on Sandra's face, and for one straight minute, she went blind and staggered at Felicia.
Leonardo actually slapped her!
With the back of his left hand. He slapped her like a puppet.
The silence in the ballroom got deadlier, and Leo's arm stayed up as he glared down at Sandra with unforgiving eyes, like he wants to really give her the second slap.
Sandra's eyes opened.
When she saw it was actually him, she gasped, holding on to Felicia.
"You will not be caught defending Felicia wherever I am! You will not be caught talking about her in front of me, or I'll kill you and send you to mum!" He growled, so animalistic.
Sandra flinched.
"Answer me!!" He yelled, his voice throwing the hall in echoes.
Sandra stepped away from Felicia, her cheek red and still so hot.
"Y...yes... brother." She muttered, fighting back tears from her eyes.
Bacardi and Bobby are smiling. The type of evil smile Satan had when he watched sinners burn in hell.
"Our baby sister escaped the VV quick-witted genes, and it's sad. Wish I gave her that slap myself." Bobby muttered, chewing gum already.
He's an addict.
"Leo's hand is more preferable. I'm satisfied with the sound." Bacardi replied beside him.
Felicia is now silent, and she's now beside Don Anthony too.
Island is still under the spotlight, and seeing the turn of events, she crashed to her knees.
"Donna didn't order me to do anything! I did it on my own cos I hate the sight of the Cooper siblings and wanted them to fail miserably! Donna isn't involved!"
"Why is everything going downhill?" Penny asked beside Lissa.
Lissa couldn't form a reply, her eyes just stayed on Ivanna and Robert, especially Ivanna.
The siblings are relaxed,as if they were aware of this outcome beforehand.
Lissa's hand tightened on nothing.
When she saw how livid Leonardo looks, she couldn't breathe.
Leonardo started walking to the smoothie table, and as he got closer like an action show climax, Island felt her death drawing near.
Silence returned to the room, and several breaths were clogged as everyone awaited the upcoming.
Island was already praying for her soul before Leonardo got to her and picked up the smoothie bowl.
Mad gaze, colder eyes than the arctic, he raised the bowl to wet her with the smoothie, but before he could pour, Don Anthony stepped in.
The older man held Leonardo's hand and bent it back, but Leonardo just smirked and slipped his hand away from the grip.
He let go of the bowl from his second hand too, and the smoothie poured.
Don Anthony was quick to push Island out of the way, but it still wasn't fast enough.
The smoothie splashed, and Nino quickly ran to the Cooper siblings.
He covered them with a chair, keeping them safe behind.
Sandra scoffed.
Ivanna and Robert escaped the splash, by not Island.
A large part of the cemented acid smoothie met Island on the neck.
The acid might be diluted, but it's still strong enough to burn her.
That part of her neck burned, and they could visibly see how her flesh got eaten by the acid.
Right in front of everyone in the hall, Island cried like a witch, rolling on the ground and slamming herself into tables, walls and chairs.
Tablecloths filled the floor in place of rugs as she made them slip off the tables. The white linens were stained with her blood in no time.
She couldn't even touch the neck, she could only wriggle agonizingly like a salted worm, her yells too loud.
A big part of her neck peeled off, and the more she rolled, the more she bled, till she began losing her voice.
Everyone in the hall watched the saga, and everyone enjoyed it except a few like the Don, Donna and Lissa.
Robert and Ivanna were gulping as they watched.
If a small splash of the smoothie put Island in a dreadful situation like this, turning her skin this bad and throwing her in this much pain, what would have happened if they were the ones who drank it?
They can't even imagine. It'd be gruesome, and this is exactly how these mobsters would watch this doom silently too.
Ivanna looked around the room, and as she stared at every face she could see, she told herself that survival here isn't by being a cow.
She has to become a tigress.
These people are heartless, and at this point, if you can't beat them, you f+kin join them.
She's not gonna die, and she's not gonna let Robert die.
It's hightime she started her own game too. She's gonna rise from the pawn to the queen.
Big dreams, but not entirely unachievable.
Her eyes clashed with Leonardo's, and within that little second, she could feel the redness deepen.
Her bones blew up, but she bit herself on the tongue to calm.
She wants to kill Lissa Armando and Leonardo Esposito the most, so she'd make them her motivation.
She has to get untouchable in here.
Island's cries died down when she passed out beside a fallen table, and that was when the father and son banter resumed.
"She's not just a maid! She saved Felicia's life once!" Don Anthony ranted out.
"Write that down in your memo and pay her back with your balls if you like, but I have no business with their life-saving shit! She tried to ruin my bet, and here you are, talking about your wife? Don't make everything about your wife!" Leonardo spat.
"Preach, brother!" Bobby laughed.
"Someone's gotta remind Papa Esposito that his wife ain't the messiah!" Bacardi added.
Robert couldn't help but chuckle secretly on the ground.
Felicia stepped into the scene, smiling sweetly at Leonardo...
"One; if you are gonna talk to me at all, scrap that fake-a$s smile. Two: I don't have a label on my head that says I wanna talk to you! F+k off!" Leonardo snapped angrily.
He can't stand this woman.
"But Island saved me from falling to my death when I had my last miscarriage! I would have died on the staircase if she wasn't there... Please, please don't kill my lifesaver." She begged, sniffling.
"But if this devil's beans stuff wasn't revealed, the Cooper siblings would have been the one at the receiving end!" Bacardi stepped in.
"Stop talking like this! The Cooper siblings deserve death since the day they stepped into this estate to steal!!" Felicia shouted.
"But my Leo said they're not to be killed, and also...let me remind you..." Bobby replied, stepping in too.
"Leo had a bet with dad to make them useful within a period of time, and they were useful! I mean...the devil's beans and Leo's help have been balanced. The mission is still valid! They won, and now... they're members of the clan low-key!"
"Take that back!" Lissa attacked heatedly. "Which clan? Not this same one that has my family as one of the founding families!"
"I can remember telling you to like....shut up, Lissa." Bacardi sighed.
"Don't give me that crap! Go check the founding calendar again, and if you can't, I'll remind you that on the list of the most powerful families in The Outfit, Armando is the fifth so you have no right to shut me up! Gawd...I wish dad was here, you won't be dirtying me like this Cardi...Are you on cocaine?" Lissa glared.
"Wait...." Bacardi went closer, taking off her suit jacket and throwing it away suddenly.
"You must be thinking I'm really normal cos I've been smiling too much lately. How dare you talk to me when the only standing you have in this place is Leo, and the fact that our late mum liked you a lot. She did, but I don't, so watch your mouth or I'll make this ballroom your last seen!" Bacardi threatened.
"You're nothing but a sl+t who wastes her time watching male strip dance always! Get your face off mine!" Lissa shouted, offing her heels.
The two girls were about run into each other when Don Anthony coughed suddenly.
The single cough was enough to call attention of everyone to him, but it wasn't enough to stop the girls.
"Cardi! Issa!" Leo hollered.
That stopped the two of them before they could collide.
Penny quickly held Lissa back.
Bobby held Bacardi back too. He gave her a glass of water to gulp.
Everyone faced Don Anthony. He's already holding Donna Felicia.
As for Leonardo, he's beside Island's unconscious body like he's never gonna let anyone take it.
He stopped smoking already, just gazing like he's drunk.
"Feel free to punish and torture Island however you want, Leo, but don't kill her. I made the rules, and I'm bending them today for her. It's an order. If you feel like going against it so bad, then you can come kill me and become the Don." Anthony said.
Then he faced the Cooper siblings.
"Take them to the smallest apartment in the estate, for now."
He left the silent ballroom with Felicia who's still sniffling.
Nino untied Ivanna and Robert, taking them away like Anthony ordered.
Leonardo called in some guards, and Island's body was taken away. He followed the body with Bobby.
"I'm visiting my private place," Lissa told her maid Emma with a straight stony face.
Emma escorted her out, and Penny went after them but couldn't catch up.
Bacardi was still drinking from her cup of water when Sandra walked up to her, looking hurt.
"What's so wrong in supporting mother? Even Island herself confirmed mother was innocent.
Bacardi dropped her cup and threw her hand up, slapping Sandra on that same cheek.
Sandra's eyes widened, her ear hotness increasing by far. It boiled.
"Bacardi!"
"You can go to Mom's mausoleum and tell her you found another mother, Felicia!" Bacardi said angrily.
"Sis—"
"I know, Sandra. I know you were only 4 when mom died, and it was Felicia who raised you and took care of you like a mother, but I was only 6 too! Felicia raised me and took care of me too but I didn't become a bloody dunderhead to the point of not seeing beyond her fake smiles! Give me a break!" Cardi said.
She picked her suit jacket.
"You're forbidden from coming to my Planet for the next two days! Idiot!" She pushed Sandra out of the way and stormed out of the ballroom.
Sandra finally let out her tears, sitting on a chair in the empty ballroom.
She buried her face on the table, crying like a baby.
--
Ivanna expected bad when she heard their apartment was gonna be small, but she met worse.
When Nino took them there, they stood in front of the apartment for a minute, staring speechlessly.
Every other apartment in this estate is luxurious no matter the smallness, but this one has no touch of luxury.
It's the last apartment, and the backyard leads to the reserve forest.
The glass windows are all shattered, doors aren't even closing and the roof looks like it'd leak if there's a rain.
Getting inside, it was another shade of worse.
No tiles or marble, just weak floorboards. Walls are cracked in many places, bathroom is messy, and the bedroom is cobwebbed.
"Leaving us in the holding room would have been better," Robert muttered in disappointment.
"I'm not surprised they gave us this hut. Obviously, the Don dislikes us." Ivanna said, pressing a switch by the small living room wall.
The lights came on.
"At least, lights are working...I and Robert will clean and make this place better." She nodded.
"This place used to belong to Stanley, Sir Leo's closest guard." Nino said.
"The one who tried to poison him but was caught and was burnt by an uncle called Thaddeus?" Robert asked
"Hmmm...you both heard the story already?" Nino raised a brow.
"Hilda told us," Ivanna said. "But if he was the devil's closest guard, why would he live here in the smallest apartment?"
"Cos Stanley chose it by himself. He was a quiet guy who chose to stay here. Also, this building wasn't always this shabby, it used to be luxurious too but after the betrayal happened, Sir Leo destroyed this place like this." Nino said sadly.
"Seems you were attached with him?" Robert said.
"Yeah... Stanley was my best friend," Nino replied, slowly.
"Oh..." Ivanna said, not knowing what to say afterwards.
"I'll go order dinner for you both dinner at the kitchen. I would have loved to join the cleaning but I have to drive Don Anthony somewhere tonight," Nino stepped back.
"No problem, you've done much so thank you..." Ivanna smiled.
"Till tomorrow then," Nino touched her shoulder fondly.
He waved at Robert before stepping out of the building.
"I'll go get water from the bathroom, let's start the cleaning ASAP." Robert snapped his fingers and rushed into the small bathroom.
Ivanna entered the bedroom, using her fingers to brush away cobwebs.
A lot curled her body, but she didn't mind. She brought the ephedra hanky out and held her nose with it before sitting on the dusty bed.
Then her mind traveled to someone in a flashback.
<Last Year Thanksgiving>
It's a snowy morning. Ivanna opened the window of Hayden's bedroom, yawning out and leaning on the frame, brushing her messy hair with her fingers.
She stretched her arm out of the window to collect some snow in her palm, smiling as they accumulated.
Only a p+nty is on her lower body, and a thin singlet on her upper body, so when Hayden hugged her from behind, she smiled and let go of the snowflakes on her palm.
"You woke up late,"
Hayden swept her hair away from her neck and kissed it deeply, biting the skin teasingly.
"Hey! S...sto..top! H..hey... Hayden! You f+kin..." She chuckled when he kissed her neck again.
His head rested on her shoulder.
"I want to stay this way all day, under the blankets though." He whispered.
"It's thanksgiving, and we're going to spend all day with my family yunno? Also, we still have to go visit your parents gravesite." She replied.
"Ok...you win. Let's stay like this for three minutes then, I love you." He replied gently, rubbing her navel.
She stayed still, and Dust climbed the window, standing in front of her.
She carried the cat, and while Hayden caressed her, she caressed the cat softly.
Slowly, she turned her neck, placing a kiss on Hayden's hair.
"I love you too, forever." She whispered.
<Present Time>
A tear crawled out of Ivanna's eyes before she knew it.
She was quick to wipe it, but not fast enough cos Robert saw it as he came in with a water bowl.
"Talk to me," he said.
Ivanna stood and walked to the window.
No snowflakes, but she could still imagine him standing behind her, his gentle arms wrapped on her body.
"Since we got here, I've been thinking about our parents and Ginny, but Hayden hasn't crossed my mind for once. Our relationship might be on a break, but if this didn't happen I swear we would have have resumed dating again. You know how much I love him and I just feel guilty he's only just crossing my mind now. I miss him so much, and Dusk...my kitty ..." She sniffled.
Robert dropped the water bowl, came to her and gave her a hug.
"You were occupied with the perils of this place, don't blame yourself, and it's okay to miss him. He was my friend too so I miss him too, and I miss Dusk... she'd have birthed her kittens by now I'm sure." He said.
"She better birth three, I want three." Ivanna replied, and Robert chuckled.
"When we get outta here one day, let's hope Hayden and Dusk and our parents would somehow be alive, but for now...this is like a new beginning in here..." He said.
Ivanna broke the hug.
"The higher we climb, the more the enemies we get, so let's just get ready to face old enemies and welcome new ones. This is only the start." She said.
"That's the spirit! Now let's clean, baby sis!" Robert pulled her hair.
"You jackass! Robert!" She shouted, chasing him out
Robert ran out with laughter.

[Penthouse]
The fire might look like it went out in the ballroom already, but it's far from that. Very far.
When Felicia and Anthony arrived, it was another round of chaos.
"Your kids had fun disgracing me over there, they were going to kill the one lifesaver I have in this place, and all you did was tell them to torture her and not kill! You couldn't caution Leo! Admit it! You can't control him, and he's obviously the one who controls his siblings against me! I did nothing wrong!" Felicia said.
"I can't control Leo, that's not a new fact so get off it. He only had one controller and it was Vera. The moment Vera died, his switch went off so get off that topic once again! The only authority I have over him is being his boss, and me telling him to not kill but torture was the only way to save Island cos no one would take Island away from him without him satisfying his craziness." Anthony replied, sitting.
"And no one disgraced you, but you did what you shouldn't have done by telling Island to sprinkle the beans in the clothes."
"I didn't!" Felicia argued.
"I know you better than anyone, Felly! Don't say no when the answer is in front of me. I know you ordered Island to do it, Island was only covering for you." Anthony said.
Felicia stood unmoved for a second, but then she broke into tears...
"The prisoners called me childless, and Leo was against their death, of course I had to make the only move I could. I was pained!"
"Felly!" Anthony stood.
"You don't love me anymore, and that's why you're being like this. I know you cherish your kids but what about me? It's not my fault I had miscarriage and my womb got altered! You know I'm trying my best to give you an heir but—"
"Felicia?" He cautioned, and she hiccupped, making pity faces.
"You are my wife, stop being extra and pause the tears. The prisoners will get punished at tomorrow's shipment collection." He said.
"You're putting them on the roster?" Felicia asked.
"Yes. The roster will be uploaded tonight. It's our biggest shipment ever, our top mobsters are going, obstacles will be much, so tommorow night has to be it." Anthony said.
"But can't you just kill them directly instead of throwing them into a mission?" Felicia asked.
"Leo is against their death, of course I'd be cautious to not cause it directly. I do not want him to crash out. You know how many deals we lost the last time he did, so wait for tomorrow's night mission." Anthony said.
Felicia nodded, wiping her tears.
Anthony received a text from Nino.
★ Ready to drive, Don.
"Stay with me till I fall asleep," Felicia quickly said.
Anthony called Nino to tell him the journey is shifted to dawn, then he went in with Felicia.
--
[Park]
Nino pocketed his phone after dropping the call.
He turned around with plans to go join the Cooper siblings at their new apartment, but he halted when he saw Sandra coming his way.
He stepped out of the way, but she still came for him, intentionally knocking herself into him.
"I told you to stay off my lane!" She shouted.
"I wasn't in your lane," Nino replied immediately.
"Now you talk back?" Sandra scoffed.
Nino walked backwards.
"Now you're talking back?" She repeated, her eyes losing all coolness. "Kneel."
"Miss?" He blinked.
"Kneel!" She snapped.
Nino slowly went on his knees, and she scooped sand from the ground, pouring it at his face.
"Keep kneeling till daybreak!" She said and stomped off.
Nino snickered.
"So much for being the Top Girl."

[Painhood]
Island is naked.
Not the almost kind of naked. She's completely bare.
Her arms are tied in front of her, and her legs are tied at the ankles too with good tough ropes.
The estate doctor treated her neck already, and it's plastered, so she's up after receiving a substantial dose of helpful drugs.
But she's not up for peace.
She's up for tears.
Leonardo is in the hood with her, currently standing beside a table where big black candes are.
Not ordinary ones, these candles have been mixed with faint amount of sulphur, so each drop is hell.
Leonardo tied five of the big candles together and put fire on their wool at the same time.
When it started burning, Island was already seeing Satan dragging her to the pit of hell.
Leonardo looks like his humanity switch has been turned off, and he took each step creepily like the devil as he held the burning candles on top of her body.
"Please... sir! I swear I won't do it again! Sir I promise!! I promise I won't try it! If I see you I'll run! Anywhere you're planning something, I'll stay back! Please don't, please d—aghhhhhhhhhgggggg!!!!!"
The first drop of the sulphur wax dropped on her arse skin, and her scream nearly made the hood crumble. She nearly died.
"You're receiving hundred of this, so just know that if you're not dead when it's over, you'll have a huge resemblance with a leopard." Leonardo muttered, proceeding.
Second drop touched her body.
"F+k!!!!!! My br+sts!! Not my br+sts!!!! Please... please sir!!! Please sir!!!! No!!!!!!!!!"
Third drop.
"Kill me!!! Please kill me!!!! Please take my life!!!! Arghhhhhhh!!!!!!"
As she rolled around the hood, Leonardo followed and continued the drops, unmoved by her tears.
It's even exciting him, but his face remained emotionless.
His second hand is in his pocket, and the right one is holding the candles casually as if he's not currently torturing someone with them.
When the twentieth drop hit Island's skin, she was already running mad.
"F+k!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Forgive me!!!! Forgive me!!!!!!!!!!!! Please!!!!!!!"
On top of the hood planks, Bobby and Bacardi stood, watching the show with happiness.
"Next time when Lissa trespasses to me, join me to fight." Bacardi said.
"Ten million." Bobby replied.
Bacardi picked her phone and did the transfer, then they shook hands.
"Deal."
Their phones buzzed at once.
It's the roster alert for tomorrow's mission at Panda Port.
The roster is full. So many mobsters are going.
"Wait... Ivanna?" Bobby blinked.
"And Robert?" Bacardi said.
They exchanged glances.

[Dawn, Hayden's New Place]
It's 6am, and Hayden just sat in his bed, staring at the clock.
His stuff is all around him. He had time to arrange them, but he just wasn't in the mood.
He's with Ivanna's picture, checking it out with a deep glance, his eyes nearly falling off.
He was already so deeply absorbed when he suddenly heard a knock on his door. He jolted.
"I'm not supposed to be having visitors yet, who could it be?" He muttered, getting off bed.
He rushed out of the little bedroom to the small front door.
Opening it, he met the truck driver.
The same truck driver who drove him here from his former clinic.
The man held a white dog which looks obviously sick and near-death.
"It's you, Pa?" Hayden blinked at the old man.
"I remember you told me you're a vet when I was driving you. My dog was fine before I went to bed, but at midnight it started barking, and salivating badly. It barked for an hour then got weak and sat still. It wouldn't move, wouldn't eat, just a long gaze as if in a daze, so i impatiently waited for dawn to bring him. Please save my dog. I have no grandchildren, he's all I've got." The old man said.
Overtaken by compassion, Hayden took the dog from him.
"You don't have to worry, I know what's up with it. Your dog will be fine." He said.
"Thank you! Thank—"
A gunshot followed the first thank you, and the man's blood splattered on Hayden's face as he got shot in the head.
With wide eyes and mouth, the man fell dead at Hayden's feet.
Hayden's arms dropped, and the dog fell into his owner's blood.
Moo stood behind, smiling with her gun pressed to her hand.
"Running away from me is a sin on it's own. You have no idea"
"Why?" Hayden muttered, his body shaking so much.
"Why!!! What have I ever done to you! Why are you doing this to me!!!" He yelled, crossing over to her.
He grabbed her neck, but even as she choked, Moo laughed.
Right there, she dialled the cops on her smartwatch.
"Hello, city protectors. I just witnessed a veterinary doctor killing an old truck driver here. Street 20."
Hayden's hand slipped away from her neck, and she laughed out louder.
Hayden staggered back, falling into the old man's body.
More blood stained him, his body trembled harder.
He cried.
"When I told you I'd flip your life upside down, I wasn't joking. Now you'll become a runner, hiding from the cops with your face caps and hoodies." Moo said diabolically.
"My offer still stands. Only I can save you from this mess. Join the gang, you have my card. Call me."
She jumped down the pavement and hopped into the streets.
"Damn...I'm ruined...geez!" Hayden covered his face.

[House Of Esposito, 7am]
At the estate park, Lissa's mustang screeched to a very loud halt.
Penny who has been waiting at the park had to move back to avoid getting crippled by the car.
Though, Emma is in the car, but it was Lissa who drove.
In anger, she got down from the car, slamming it afterwards.
"Did you go to that nameless place again? When are you gonna tell me where exactly you go weekly?" Penny asked, but Lissa just bypassed her.
She left her at the park.
"Lalissa!!" Penny's voice followed her.
She didn't look back.
She head straight for Leonardo's Citadel, her hair flowing with the air.
Emma came out of the car as well, and Penny pulled her.
"I swear to you, maam. She left me at the road as usual and went to that place again. She only came back to pick me this morning. I have no idea where that place is or who she goes to see." Emma said.
"Gosh, now I'm getting more confused," Penny muttered. "This isn't the time to slack off."

[Cooper Siblings Apartment]
The cleaning process was tedious last night. The siblings did it all night, so hard that they slept off on the couches in the living room.
One couch each since they only have two rag-like couches anyways.
Their mopping water is beside them, so black with dirt.
That was the first thing that caught Leonardo's attention when he entered the apartment.
He used a minute to look around before carrying the black water bowl.
He sprinkled part of it on Ivanna's arm, and that was enough to stir her awake. Her eyes opened.
She touched her arm, seeing the water, she looked up.
The face she saw was enough to make her sprang up.
"What are you doing here! And why would you even pour water on me again! What the hell is wrong with you!" She snarled.
That woke Robert up. His eyes widened, and he stood too
"Sir Leo? Good morning."
"My mornings aren't pleasant, I prefer chaotic and woeful, you might wanna choke on your greetings," Leonardo replied sharply.
"You both are my pawns, but you are the bigger pawn, wonder woman." He said, shoving an hand in his pocket.
They both went quiet.
"You both are in the mission roster for tonight, and while I don't care about your wretched lives, I know it's another plot to off you two which I won't allow by the way. From now till evening, you both will be at the Training hood, getting tutelage from me." He continued.
"If you think we'll spend all day in a space with you alone, then you must be dreaming! Wake up!" Ivanna smirked.
Leonardo pulled a short but sharp combat knife out of his black jean, rolled it skillfully between his fingers before throwing it at her.
Instinctively, Ivanna bent back to the couch behind her, and the knife flew over her face, but it cut a strand of her hair before flying to the wall where it got tightly stuck.
Immediately Ivanna stood straight, she jumped over the couch, stood on one leg and removed the knife from the wall, sharper than expected.
She jumped down the couch and came for him.
Using her elbow, she pushed him to the wall where he willingly went.
His sinning eyes were staring down darkly at her hateful figure as she raised the knife...
"I'll tell you what's gonna happen when you stab me with that knife. One, I make you suck my c0ck again but this time in front of the mob crowd. Two, I make your brother eat sand till he becomes pathetically asthmatic like you." He muttered.
Ivanna's hand stopped right in front of his chest, and her eyes streaked as she looked up at him.
Her lashes sweated, even the brows.
"You're only this high and mighty cos you're still the alpha here, but wait till i climb up too, and till then, you should relay a warning to your Bambi Doll! She needs to stay away from me! She and her thieving mother! Tell them to stay away from me!" She spat, her elbow still pushing his wide chest.
Leonardo pulled the knife out of her palm, placing the blade on her throat.
She froze, but still fearless, and that made him smirk, again.
His hair fell over his eyes, and his tongue pushed against his cheek.
But before he could say another word, Lissa barged in.
She actually went to his Citadel but he was absent, so she traced him here according to what the mobsters said.
Seeing how Ivanna pushed him against the wall, she pulled her gun from her waist strap, aiming for her.
"Get your smelly body off my man, or I blow your arse off without minding the consequences!" She snarled.
Now it's Ivanna's turn to smirk, but before she could talk, Leonardo did.
Like a time bomb, his accented voice spoke as he faced Lissa.
"Who is your man?"
TBC.
