He took the picture and started staring at it, feeling kind of awkward.

“Preet Marcus, she was kidnapped from her parents some years ago because she has the same face as Preet Kay, Enzo’s daughter….. Enzo asked to adopt her immediately he set eyes on her, but her parents were not in support of it, that’s why he killed them to take her from them, she was trained in Italy till she grew up, and then sent to Russia for a mission, no news about her since then” Pierce read from his screen.

“Russia?” Romanio said, trying to ponder.

Something in his head is telling him that she’s a known person, but he can’t pinpoint, and it’s crazy.

Same thing is happening to Rosario right now.

They looked at each other before leaving the room, then they made their way to the cell vaults.

Rosario opened the first door with his boot, and Sakura came to view.

She was tied to an electrocuting chair, and she receives shocks every one hour.

They’ve been doing that to her together with torture for the past four days, and she’s as good as dead right now.

Her bald head is red with blood, same with her face.

Romanio planted a bullet in her arm, and she screamed out as pains shot through her.

“Devils!!!!!!”

“The bullets will continue ramming into your body till you answer this question” Rosario said, holding up her chin.

“You work with the Imperium, you should know the location of the two Preets” he said.

When she kept crying without talking, Romanio removed one of her nails with pliers.

“Kira said she’s in itaewon in Korea!!, Her last location was Korea!!!, She ran away from Enzo because she hates him!!!” She cried out.

“Which of them?” Rosario asked.

“Preet Kay, Enzo Kay’s daughter” Sakura replied.

“And who’s Kira?” Romanio asked.

“Enzo Kay’s worker who has been going after Preet Kay for months now, I’ve only met her once” Sakura replied.

“And where’s Preet Marcus?”

“No one knows!, Kira said Enzo has been saying she’s on a mission but no one knows where she is except Enzo, Mary Kay and Blood!” Sakura cried.

Romanio dropped the pliers and left the room immediately, Rosario followed him.

“I won’t be going to mission Gum with you, I have to fly to Korea first thing tomorrow morning” Romanio said.

“Will you be fine alone?” Rosario asked.

“Sure, and keep a close eye on Maddona” Romanio replied.

“Why?”

“Just in case” Romanio replied and left.

DEEP FOREST**

“Whoa!!!!, We kept coming across rivers and I love it!” Beryl shouted when they got to the bank of another river.

This will be the tenth river they’ll be coming across since they started journeying through the forest.

They’re already lost, so they planned to keep going till they’ll come out of it one day.

“So clean!, I feel like bathing!” Beryl shouted again, playing with the water.

Thanks to Leenox, her thigh healed fast, and she can walk on her own already.

They’ve been surviving on wild fruits and the few edible foods in Catalyst’s bag, though it’s hard but no choice for now.

“Whoa, nature is gorgeous” Catalyst said, drinking from his liquor.

“LiquorCat” Beryl teased, and he laughed.

“I told you to stop calling me that…. crybaby” he said, dropping his bottle.

He yanked off his shirt at once, and Beryl quickly turned her back, facing Leenox.

“What the hell do you think you’re doing!”

“I’m gonna bath” Catalyst replied, and as if planned, Leenox took off his clothes too.

“Stoop!” She screamed, closing her eyes.

Leenox smiled secretly and entered the river with Catalyst.

They were already bathing before she opened her eyes again, and she took Catalyst’s liquor.

She was about to start drinking from it when she noticed a weird movement at the far end of the river, she stopped moving immediately, looking at it more closely.

She strained her eyes just to get a clearer view, then she saw the most terrifying creature she has ever seen.

A giant water snake raised it’s head and returned it to the water, then it started swimming to them.

“Leenox!, Catalyst!, Snake!!!” She screamed, and they both stopped bathing immediately, facing her at once.

“Water snake!!!, Behind you!!!” She screamed, and they both looked back at the same time.

“What the f+k!” Leenox shouted.

“Holy crap!” Catalyst said, and they both ran out of the water.

Beryl was already shaking so much as Leenox grabbed her right hand.

Catalyst grabbed his liquor before grabbing her left hand, and the three started running fast down the slope.

“It’s gonna swallow us right?, It’ll swallow us” Beryl said fearfully.

“Shut up” Leenox replied, and a dried tree stem almost fell on her…

Leenox made to hit it away but Catalyst was faster, he hit it with his arm, and it left a big wound.

“Catalyst!” She shouted fearfully.

“Calm down and just run” he replied breathlessly.

“I don’t think it’s following us” Leenox said, looking at the wound on Catalyst’s arm.

They all stopped and looked back, truly it’s not following.

“Catalyst your hand” Beryl said, wanting to take it so she could check it out, but Leenox was faster.

He took the hand and shook his head.

“You should have been more careful” he said.

“It almost fell on her so I had no choice” Catalyst rolled eyes, drinking liquor.

His eyes suddenly caught something, and he stopped moving.

“I swear we’re dead” he said, looking at that particular direction.

There’s a rusty old signboard, and on it… HAUNTED FOREST was written boldly.

Their eyes widened together, and when they heard a roar on their left, they faced that part…

“That’s the sound of a lion” Leenox said.

“Run!” Catalyst said, and the three took to their heels at once.

UNKNOWN LOCATION**

Blood came in and smiled darkly when he saw Enzo and Mary Kay in the living room, they’re both sniffing cocaine.

He sat with them and got a roll of weed which he started smoking.

“No greetings?” Enzo said.

“It’s not necessary, any news on my sis?” Blood asked.

“Preet Kay is not a plaything yunno, Kira kept losing her” Enzo replied, looking up.

“Preet Marcus’s mission will soon be done, I’m waiting for then, we’re killing her after she completes it” Blood said.

“Of course, my daughter will come back after she hears about the death of her lookalike whom she loves so much” Enzo laughed.

Mary Kay kept quiet, she’s Blood’s mortal enemy, so they don’t roll.

SAME NIGHT★FALCONS EMPIRE**

Mary has been suspecting that someone is following her since noon, but she has been keeping it to herself while before careful.

She’s on her way to Rosario’s mansion right now, and she’s getting suspicious of a tail again.

She suddenly walked faster than before and slipped into a corner, then Bullet passed by.

She got her gun and came out of the corner, grabbing Bullet’s neck as fast as flash.

She pinned him to the wall and started choking him while placing the gun on his head.

“Why the hell have you been following me!” She demanded hotly, and Bullet’s eyes rolled, his mouth won’t close as he continued struggling to break free.

“You’re…. you’re… Preet Marcus…. aren’t you?” He stuttered under her strong grip

A sinister smile spread on Mary’s lips, and she raised a brow painstakingly slow.

“Now that you know my true identity, what should I do to you?”

( I LOVE YOU )

“Now that you know my true identity, what should I do to you?” Mary said, rolling her eyes devilishly.

Bullet’s eyes widened for some seconds, then he pushed her away from himself with all the strength he has.

Mary staggered, and he started running away from her with the intention of going to Rosario’s mansion to report, but she blocked him with a glare.

“Now you can’t leave” she said, and when he tried to take another way, she got a knife from her pocket and threw it at him.

It shoved into his head from behind, and life slipped out of him immediately as his head and mouth started bleeding.

He fell on his knees and Mary came closer.

“Bye” she smiled, pushing his head forward.

He fell dead on his face, and that was when he woke up from his dream.

“F+k!, F+k!, F+k!!!” He screamed, sitting under the apple tree.

It has been a dream, dreadful scary one at that.

“Why the f+k did you scream!” Nightingale rushed to him, he stood.

“What are you doing under the tree when you’re supposed to be following Madonna?” she said.

“I’ve been following her, but I got tired and decided to take a nap here” he replied.

“Then you had a bad dream?” She asked.

“Yeah, Madonna might actually be Preet Marcus” he replied, and she came closer.

“Saw something?”

“Yeah, she admitted it in my dream just now, and she f+king killed me!” He said fearfully, and her eyes widened.

“Try it out for real” she said.

“I know you want me to die but isn’t that too harsh?, My head was stabbed with a knife” he replied.

“Don’t worry I’ll back you up” Nightingale replied, and Bullet inhaled before leading the way.

Nightingale followed him behind, and they started looking for Mary everywhere.

They didn’t see her till they got to the spot he saw her at in the dream, close to Rosario’s mansion.

“There!” He said immediately, and Nightingale turned to see her.

“Go, I’ll shadow you” Nightingale replied, and Bullet started following Mary discreetly.

He was aware of when she got suspicious and hid in a corner just like she did in the dream

He passed by the corner and she rushed out, grabbing him before pinning him to the wall with a murderous look.

“Why the hell have you been following me!” She demanded, and Bullet looked into her scary eyes.

“You’re… you’re Preet Marcus… aren’t you?” He said, and she smirked before slapping him.

“Say that again” she said.

“Huh?” He replied shockingly, and she slapped him again.

“Call me Preet Marcus one more time!” She said.

“You’re… you’re…

“How dare you call me what I’m not” she glared and punched him, he fell on the ground.

“I’m so sorry boss lady, I’m sorry” Bullet quickly started begging, and she smirked.

“I’m reporting you to Ross” she said, and he quickly held her leg.

“Please don’t, I’m so sorry I mistook you for her, I’m so…

She took her leg from him and walked away before he could finish.

“F+k!” He spat, standing up.

Nightingale came out of her hiding place immediately.

“You had a silly dream then, she can’t be” she said.

“But she seems weird somehow” Bullet replied.

ROSARIO’S MANSION**

Mary met Rosario in bed already when she came in, he’s fast asleep.

It’s rare for him to sleep early like this, but maybe he’s tired.

She has been helping Escobar with dinner in the kitchen, so she has left the mansion since dusk.

She smiled and sat beside him, then she started stroking his hair gently, staring at his face.

“How handsome” she smiled again, shifting her thumb to his brows, she started tracing it gently.

“My hero” she whispered, bending over him to kiss his lips lightly, and that woke him up.

“Donna” he whispered, opening his eyes slightly.

“Sweet Ross, you slept early” she said, and he immediately pulled her to the bed, she fell directly beside him.

“I had an hectic day yunno” he said, and she giggled cutely as he wrapped his muscular arm around her.

“Hectic because you cooked?, The food was salty remember?” She replied, and he smiled.

“But still….I tried…it was my first try at cooking” he replied, and she giggled.

“Next time we’ll do it together” she said, and he smiled lightly, but the smile dissipated when his eyes caught the numerous scars on her body, all from the torture she went through here

He brought his hand to her skin and started tracing her scars while she closed her eyes and held her breath.

“I’m sorry” he suddenly said, and she opened her eyes to lock eyes with him.

“What?”

“For all your scars”

“It’s not your duty to be guilty” she whispered.

“But it’s my duty to care” he replied, sitting up in bed, Mary did the same and sat between his legs, resting her head on his chest.

He started rubbing her hair.

“My scars are worth it, I got to be your woman” she said, playing with his fingers.

“Donna” he called, and she faced him.

“I love you” she said, and her heart started thumping.

“I really don’t care what anyone says, even my brother, I just wanna love you for the rest of my life, and this baby Crescent, I wanna have him with you” he said, and Mary swallowed hard.

“I wasn’t joking when I told you to keep poisoning me with love, I’ll take it all and even lick the cup, I swear I love you f+king much, I can’t even control how I feel, I just wanna be with you and nothing more” he said.

“Ross….

“I trust you, you’re not Mary Kay, you’re my woman, not my treacherous mother, you’ll never betray me” he smiled, and Mary blinked again.

He leaned in and kissed her lips gently, and she reciprocated immediately.

He broke it after exactly one minute, then he stretched his hand to the bedstand drawer, he pulled it out and got an heart shaped red box which he gave to her

“What’s… inside?” She asked.

“Check” he replied, and she opened it slowly to see a golden necklace with a crescent moon as the pendant.

A soft gasp escaped her lips as she touched it.

“It’s pretty”

“It’s yours, you can start wearing it anytime you start feeling the same way I do” he said.

“Ross” she smiled, and he pulled her closer.

He kissed her b👀bs, then her forehead and lips before hugging her tightly.

“Don’t leave me” he whispered, kissing her neck.

APPLE TREE**

Clyde’s eyes were closed as he sat on his favorite branch with a lot of thoughts going on in his mind, about Madonna and himself.

His eyes flew open when he suddenly heard movements under the tree.

He saw Terrius climbing up with Pandora.

“Why are you guys coming up?” He asked, and they didn’t reply till they climbed to him.

They sat on different branches and faced him.

“Mission Gum is one day away, and no one knows if anyone of us will die in the haunted forest or not, so we should spend as much time as we can together” Terrius said, and Clyde scoffed.

“Guys!” Rapunzel said from the base of the tree.

“You too?” Clyde said, and she smiled before climbing up.

“The empire feels weird…. right?” Pandora sighed.

“This mission might be the end of many people, everyone is scared but are not showing it” Rapunzel replied.

“I’m not scared though, death will eventually come one day” Clyde replied.

“We all know you’re not human, how would you be scared” Terrius replied, and Clyde smiled dryly.

“I still can’t believe Preet Marcus is your childhood lover… Clyde” Pandora said.

“I don’t know if she’d have changed, but back then… she’s the sweetest girl on Earth” he replied.

“I wonder where she is” Terrius said.

“Lord Romanio will get Mary Kay pretty soon, he’s flying to Korea tommorow” Rapunzel said.

“Meaning he won’t be in for mission Gum?” Terrius said.

“Of course, Hellcat will take his place for the mission” Pandora replied.

“Are we really approaching the end already?” Clyde sighed

They all looked up at the moonlit sky with different thoughts in their minds.

“What are those bugs doing?” Knife said, watching them not far from the tree.

“Thinking about what’ll be their fate during the mission” Nightingale replied beside her.

“You don’t smell death on anyone?, Seems you’re pretty good at smelling bad things” Bullet said, and she rolled eyes at him.

“Of course, I smell it on you” she said, and he laughed.

ESCOBAR’S MANSION**

After crying for as long as he wanted, Escobar left the mansion and made his way to Romanio’s.

He met him smoking in front of his mansion, and he smiled widely.

“Godfather” he said surprisingly, and he came closer to hug him.

“Godfather, is everything ok?” He asked.

“I wanted to do this” Escobar replied, breaking the hug.

“Let’s go in” Romanio said.

“No, I saw you , that’s enough” he smiled, patting his shoulder.

He started looking him in the eye, making Romanio wonder why.

“What if Smoke is not the real father of you and Rosa?, How would you feel?” He asked, and Romanio scrunched up his face.

“What do you…mean?”

“Forget it Roma, I’m feeling sleepy” Escobar replied and gave him another pat before walking away.

“What the hell” Romanio said suspiciously.

NEXT DAY★ DEEP FOREST**

The three have been hiding in a deep pit since last night, they actually fell on while running away from the dangerous animals, and they decided to stay there for the fear of getting eaten by them.

“Why are there so many dangerous animals in here?” Beryl asked ignorantly.

“Haven’t you heard of haunted forest before?” Catalyst asked over his bottle of alcohol.

“No”

“Everyone in Italy knows about it, the door was made by an alien, and once come in through the door, you have to go out within one hour, else you’ll get stuck inside like us” Leenox replied.

“We’re in Italy?” Beryl’s eyes widened.

Leenox and Catalyst exchanged glances.

“Yes!, I can finally meet my brothers!” She shouted.

“Let’s come out first” Catalyst replied.

“But I’m still so happy!, Yay!!!!” Beryl started jumping up in the thin hole till her foot turned on the ground and she almost fell.

Leenox grabbed her waist, and her eyes widened when he held her still.

“Fool” he said, letting go of her.

“I’m…. sorry” she said slowly.

Catalyst smiled slowly, staring at his bottle.

FALCONS EMPIRE★5PM**

The black Audi drove gently into the underground park and Pierce came out of the driver’s seat.

A new face descended the car afterwards, she has a fierce unfriendly look as she hovered her eyes around the park.

“Welcome back Cat” Pierce said, and she faced him.

She didn’t reply before walking in, Pierce smiled and followed her in, and mobsters started gathering.

? Who’s she?

? Hellcat obviously

? F+k, Lawrence is the real deal

? Acid bather

Different comments hit her ears as she walked, but she pretended not to hear them all till she came across Mary.

Mary stopped walking immediately she saw her, and they started staring at each other intently.

“Is this a staring competition or what?” Nightingale said.

Mary stopped staring and walked away, but something fell from her.. the pin.

Before she could take it, Hellcat took it.

“My pin!” She said, looking at it like a long lost treasure.

“It’s…yours?” Mary smirked with a dark smile.

ITAEWON IN KOREA★8PM**

Romanio landed since an hour ago, and he has been roaming the silent and less crowded places for any sign of Preet.

He knows not her face, but Sakura said her natural body scent is berry according to Kira.

She has a strong berry scent and is always on hoodie with a backpack, so he’s searching with that.

He started with the sauna houses, then shacks and homeless kids houses.

After searching the last sauna in itaewon, he came out and pulled off his face cap, then he sat in front of it and got his phone to call Rosario, but someone snatched it from him and ran off.

“Sh+t!” He spat and started running after the person.

Whoever it is is surely a good runner, cos it can’t really be called running, it’s flying.

“F+king stop!!” He shouted, but the race only doubled, and he kept chasing till they got to a dead end, he was able to grab her and flip her over his shoulder, she landed down.

“F+k!, Be gentle I’m a girl!” She yelled, sitting up slowly.

berry flooded Romanio’s nose immediately, and his eyes widened when he noticed she’s wearing a hoodie.

He quickly took the hoodie away from her head, and his eyes widened for the second time when he saw her face.

She’s exactly like Mary, no difference!, None at all!

“Preet Kay” he said shockingly.

“Romanio Gambino, finally you found me, you’re a smartass” she said and stood.

“Wow, you run like a cheetah, can’t believe you caught me, no one has ever done that” she said, bringing out the decoder.

“I’ve been untraceable because of this, made by my doppelganger” she smiled.

“Madonna is… Preet Marcus?” He said slowly, and Preet Kay smiled slowly before becoming serious.

“She’s not in her right senses cos my father had her memory wiped, but I can assure you that right now, Rosario is in danger” she replied, and Romanio’s eyes widened again.

He snatched his phone from her to call Rosario.

“I’m sure she’d have disabled the empire network right now, she’s a computer genius like me…in fact she’s more brilliant” Preet Kay said, but Romanio tried Rosario’s line all the same.

It’s not reachable at all.

“Rosario is dead, there’s no antidote for the poison” she smiled.

FALCONS EMPIRE★ROSARIO’S MANSION.

Mary entered the bathroom for her night shower and stood in front of the mirror after turning the faucets, then she smiled, but she noticed her eyes look whiter than before like Rosario said

She waved it off and took off her rosary, she pressed a small invisible button and waited for a minute.

“Preet” Enzo’s voice said slowly.

“Boss” she replied.

“Percent?” Enzo asked

“80, almost done” she replied.

“Make it click 90 today, tommorow is the final attack yunno” Enzo said.

“Yes boss” she said and pressed the same button, then she got one of the rosary eggs before wearing the rosary again, she took her shower and left the bathroom.

She put on a s+ductiv€ nightie and left the room for the cellar where she got a bottle of brandy, she opened it and threw the rosary egg into it, then she got a cup and walked to the living room where Rosario was standing.

He has been trying to ring Romanio but it’s not working, and he was about to go get brandy when Mary came in with it.

Without saying anything, he took it from her and emptied it into the cup before bringing it to his lips.

Mary folded her fists as she watched him take a sip, her body started shaking as he prepared to swallow it,…

Her whole head was screaming no..no! No!!!!!!!

She suddenly held his face and crashed her lips on his own, making the brandy in his mouth pour directly into hers

Rosario’s eyes widened, and Mary broke the kiss to swallow the brandy.

“Maddona…

“I love you so much Ross” she whispered, hugging him tightly as tears escaped her eyes.

“I love you”
