★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★

Shayla's thighs clenched more than it already was. She felt a faint pulse between them which she tried fervently to keep low.

It felt like a clock is in there, ticking aggressively. Her palms went balled, and her cheeks became a deeper shade of red.

Ryker watched all these reactions as if he payed for it, and even the holy heavens know it's priceless to see her like this—shy, red, and horrified just by the mere mention of bedroom.

"I almost forgot." He brought up a small bag which he handed to her.

She opened it to peek inside.

"A phone?" She read the body label. There are two boxes inside, one white and the other black, obviously for her and Xena.

"The black is yours. There are three saved numbers on it already. Cheyenne's, Sage's and Xena's." He explained as she opened the black box, and her eyes went up instantly.

"What about yours?"

"Dial 1 on speed dial, that's me." He replied, teaching her how to.

"I get it" she smiled, rubbing her thumb on the phone body.

"Thank you." she looked at him, catching the beauty of his soft eyes.

"Told Xena to pack some lunch for you. You can't eat at the cafe, and you can't drink anything from their vending machine. Also, drink your water cold. Warm water is going to hurt your tummy cos your warm body would react against it." He said.

All these while, she's staring at him with attentive doe eyes, and she couldn't blink till he was done.

"No wonder, my tummy acts up whenever my drinking water is warm." She muttered.

"I won't do everything you said, and I'll retaliate to bullies, but you suddenly sound like you're.....traveling." She said suspiciously, her small voice becoming smaller at the last word.

"Who knows?" He gave her a eye smile, and she blinked.

"Go" he said, unplugging the seat belt from her body.

She nodded once, waving her second hand before getting out of the car, and that was when she got reminded of the nakedness under her skirt.

Ryker's car sped down the smooth road, the air blew under her skirt, brushing her opening and making her stomach clench on nothing.

The feeling is so new to her that she doesn't even understand what it means.

"That took almost a year." Xena said behind her, taking her out of her thoughts.

"Xena," she faced her. "Sorry, I just had a lot to ask."

"Your cheeks are red, did he do something touching?" Xena smiled, leaning closer.

"It's still red?" Shayla touched her cheek, gently.

"Pretty much, that's a development." Xena winked, and Shayla chuckled lightly, showing her the phone boxes.

Xena picked the white one immediately, gasping as if it's some lost but found treasure.

"I've always wanted this! Human technology is only available here in the City Management Office, so it's expensive as hell. I bet each of these costs millions." She said.

"If they hate humans so much, why use their technology and sell it for exorbitant prices?" Shayla looked up

Xena hung her arm on her shoulder, strolling into the school with her.

"Luminarians are crazy, baby. Don't try to reason with them, you'll lose your mind. Now let's go start our ballet careers." She said.

"Love the sound of that" Shayla smiled, and Xena grinned.

--

Cheyenne and Sage are already waiting at the middle of the school road for Ryker.

They're wearing different suits from before.

"Wait...you washed off the tint from your hair?" Cheyenne suddenly noticed, and he nodded.

"Yeah, you said it didn't fit."

"Why would my opinion even matter?" Cheyenne scoffed.

"What do you mean?"

"Don't listen to what I have to say about your appearance. Me saying the tint didn't fit you was just for talking sake." She said.

"But—"

"Do what you like, Sage. I shouldn't always have the upper hand even over your hair... please!" She strictly interrupted, and Sage went silent as their face mirrored, but Cheyenne was the first to look away.

Ryker's car grinded to a fast halt beside them, and they both snuck inside. Cheyenne got on the driver's seat, and Sage took the passengers.

Ryker went to the backseat.

"I clearly warned against calling me Boss whenever we're in this city." He said with a cutting edge, directing the words to Cheyenne in particular.

"It skipped my mind yesterday when I was chatting with her in the kitchen. I'm sorry, My Lord. Won't happen again." She bowed.

"Are we spending more than one week this time?" Sage asked.

"Depends." Ryker grimly replied.

"Move, to the crossover ladder." Sage nudged Cheyenne's shoulder.

"I missed the human world, finally some fresh air!" Cheyenne breathed as she drove them off.

Ryker shut his eyes at the backseat, the strong smell of pheromones riddling his head.

Darn it... Eternus didn't say it'd be as crazy as this.

He could smell it in every breath.

--

[FrostOrb Hall]

The glow from the orb got increasingly brighter, hitting the walls and roof and leaking out through the spaces around the door.

Jude is absorbing power aggressively from it. He has overfed himself with the orb energy, and there's barely any space for him to absorb more, but he kept going, groaning as the energy muddled his senses, curling around his brain and threatening to make him mad.

He didn't stop.

He imagined how Ryker had knocked him down in the cave, how he made him unconscious for days. Ryker is only but a lowly thief who's trying to steal rightfully belongs to him, and it's unacceptable.

He growled out as the thoughts darkened his head, leaving no space for balance. He's starting to lose his sanity, but he's still not stopping.

He was pushed away from the orb premises when another person came in, and he lurched back.

The wall took the impact of his body, and he wasn't shocked to see Granny Jojo standing in front of him, her face the deepest shade of disappointment.

"If you absorb too much power than you can take, you'll run wild and go mad." She said.

"I know," He carried his weight away from the wall.

"You do?"

"I said I know!!!" He yelled.

The angry depth of his voice flung Jojo up to the ceiling tile. Her body crashed a hole on it, and she was thrown back down, brutally.

Her body hit the ground with a deadly thud, and she sustained injuries on the head.

Deep, fleshy ones.

"You're only gonna speak in his defense as usual, so keep quiet! From now on, I'll work with my own rules. I'm a part of the family, and I'll start acting like it!" He growled.

Jojo kept laying on the floor, bleeding heavily and unconscious. Her blood painted the ground already.

The sound of claps echoed on the walls from outside, and Jude's head went up, eyes shadowing as Lilith came in with Pearl.

"If anyone told me Jude would turn out to be a bold, bad hateful dude one day, I'd have denied it." Lilith smiled, stopping her claps.

"I dunno what you and my parents are planning, but stick to it and stop getting your ugly face in my way!!" Jude shouted angrily, coming for her, but Lilith threw a jacket at him, the one she stole from Shayla.

"Where did you get this?" Jude caught it, looking up and bringing it to his nose. Luckily, it still has Shayla's warm scent. He inhaled it.

"I took it from her that night, intending to sell it and make money, but now that I'm a part of this family and have enough money for myself, I'm returning it to you." Lilith smiled.

"You and I," Pearl talked, and Jude looked her way.

"We're the most poorly treated members of this family. Our parents are a team, the twins are a team, how about we be a team too?" She continued, stepping ahead of Lilith.

"I'll be getting my sight back tonight, so you can look forward to it. I have a feeling we'll work better together."

"I do not need your collaboration! What do you possibly know? You spent your entire life in the basement anyways." Jude muttered, sniffing the jacket again.

"I'm not asking for your cooperation, I'm ordering it. You'll come crawling to me." Pearl replied smugly.

Jude laughed amusingly, but it was short cos Azura dashed into the hall.

Lilith took Pearl out of the room, leaving mother and son.

"Mother" Jude mumbled.

That was replied with a hot, blinding hit on the face which made his facial skin shake.

"Mother!!" He yelled painfully, but he was slapped again and again. His eyes widened in both shock and anger.

"Mother!!!!" He yelled louder, grabbing her arms and pushing her back. Azura broke free and slapped him for the fourth time, angrily.

"Touch me again, and I won't hold back. I'll kill you" Jude threatened.

"You want the slave? So much that you payed with your soul just to enter the land of the condemned for her? Do you know how many souls I revived you with?" Azura's enraged voice dropped, and he frowned, his red face bearing her fingerprints.

"So it's about her?"

"What else?" Azura shouted. "Everyone in this family has one thing or the other they're doing to bring grace and honor, but all you have going on is lust for a slave? Aren't you ashamed?"

"She's not a slave! And it's not lust! I liked her the moment I set my eyes on her in that dark room cage! Is it a sin to crave her?"

"Yes! The only reason you should be going after her is to end her life, not to own her heart! She has to die for this family legacy to continue!!" Azura snatched the jacket from him.

"Not that! Give it back to me!!" He went after her, but she was already out of the room.

She made the door shut on his face, and she went down to the burner at the lobby.

She threw the jacket into the burner, and when Jude finally got to her, his run stopped with a screech, and his eyes came wide the moment he saw the burning jacket.

"No...no...no..." He cried, falling on his weak knees in front of the burner.

"You won't be able to stand from your knees till tomorrow. Stay there, and reflect on your shameful actions. You want the slave romantically? Dream on, you'll be getting her dead body instead." Azura told him before she went back upstairs.

Zeke was waiting by the staircase when she arrived, she walked directly into his waiting arms.

"Don't be too hard." He said.

"He needed it to set him straight, I need him back to his senses. He knocked mother unconscious in the orb hall, I think she might go back into coma." She replied.

"Cool, she was useless anyways. My mother would be coming to the palace soon to replace her." Zeke replied, and Azura smiled.

"I can't wait for her arrival."

"By the way, what's the plan? Feast is in two weeks...Ryker and the partner are still breathing fine. The fact that she's in that ballet school is like a slap to my face." She said.

"I'll go see Director Esme this evening." Zeke broke the hug.

"I'll go with you." Azura said.

"No. I'll go alone. You stay back and do something else for me tonight."

"What do I have to do?" Azura backed the railings.

"His spring pool at the Bamboo Groove, have it poisoned. He's highly suspicious, so enter without carrying your aura with you. Get his father's tears into the pool." Zeke said.

"The Old Chef?"

"Yeah, he has poison tears, and you know the funniest part? The poison only works on his family. Even if you have to cut his spleen or split his tendons to make him cry, do it." Zeke ordered.

"And after poisoning the pool?" Azura asked curiously.

Zeke smiled, touching her hair.

"Just wait for results. It's hightime we start the music, I bet he won't see this coming."

[Human World, Beijing~China—A Glass Mansion]

For several years, the glass building has been taking the lead among luxury glass mansions in the country.

Even people who haven't seen it before has seen picture, at least.

Everyone knows the mansion of the richest man in the world who has houses in several countries.

He owns the biggest jewelry company existing—Frost H2O, having branches in more than twenty five countries. They produce and trade jewelries on large scales, and their products are unbelievably expensive.

His second largest branch is here in China, but his main headquarters is in Russia where he's rumoured to be a citizen of.

No one knows anything about him except the fact that he's intimidatingly rich, and he's a good-looking male.

The glass mansion isn't guarded, but no fly can even come close as the location is hidden, and in the most dense part of Beijing.

It's 5pm here, and the mansion is silent, brightened with lights and looking like a suitable synonym of paradise as it stood regally in the middle of the towering gate.

One could see every room from outside since the glass is clearly transparent, and in the first living room, the television is on, news reading on the screen.

★ Owner of Worldwide Frost H2O, the richest man living—Ryker Morozov is back from his yearly travel, and his world tour around his branches starts tonight, starting from his China branch in Beijing...

Cheyenne strolled out of the closest room, grabbing the TV remote and turning it off.

She smashed the remote.

"Urg! They're too fast with news in this world, I can't with them. How did they even know Boss has arrived?"

"Are you underestimating his aura?" Sage came out after her, holding a bowl of raspberries.

"He doesn't have to announce, his aura speaks. The money is enough to drive anyone mad." He smiled.

"Stop praising him, my head might just burst on his behalf." Cheyenne replied, and Sage laughed.

"Must have been hard for him, pretending he doesn't like phones just to keep his human world transactions down. Damn." Sage sighed.

"Wonder what's gonna happen if Zeke and Azura finds out of this vast wealth." Cheyenne picked from his raspberries.

"That'll only increase their greed. Am I the only one wanting them to find out? I'd love to see them try." Sage replied, and Cheyenne chuckled.

They both straightened up when Ryker stepped out, his aura snatching the air as usual.

He's wearing a beige color suit, but even the pants—loose pants, moderately fitted jeweled jacket, bulky dress shoes and spicy perfume.

He looks as divine as ever, typical ice god.

"Manager Bao is already waiting to receive you with the branch staffs. They did their best to keep reporters away from the building. Your entry will be easy." Sage reported.

"The branch conference starts at 6, we should arrive in ten minutes." Cheyenne added.

Ryker didn't talk, he just led the way out while they followed, leaving for the park where they all got into one of his custom-made cars.

Cheyenne drove them.

In ten minutes, they arrived at the Beijing branch, a gigantic skyscraper which dwarfed other buildings around it.

Getting out of the car, they met the Manager, Mr. Bao outside the skyscraper. He's waiting in two lines with the higher up member of staffs who're old experienced men, and they all have welcoming smiles on their faces, some holding flowers to welcome him with.

"You took long before returning this year." Manager Bao smiled.

"Had important things to take care of. The board of staffs?" Ryker asked crisply.

"They're in the hall, waiting for your arrival sir. Everything is set for the meeting, but we'll probably end it late. There's a lot to settle." Manager Bao said.

"There's a lot of time between now and dawn, lead the way." Ryker instructed.

"Of course..." The man smiled with another bow, and they went in with the entourage of staffs.

"He doesn't like flowers, he prefers blue roses. Keep the flowers away." Cheyenne told the staffs holding flowers, and they quickly dumped them in the trash.

Getting to the elevator, Ryker's phone buzzed in his suit pocket, and he smiled down when he saw the message sitting on screen from you know who.

Fire: Boss, what exactly are you going to do with my underwear? I feel so naked and I can't even concentrate here. It has been pulsing all day.

His smile broadened, the dimples displaying on his cheeks.

Sage signalled secretly at Cheyenne, they both winked at each other when they saw it.

Ryker set his thumb on the screen, typing back.

Ryker: Who did you kill yet?

Fire: No one, no one came closer yet. It has been one written class to another.

Ryker: You're only allowed to text again when you kill someone.

He pocketed the phone, and the elevator split open, showing them to the top floor where the meeting is happening at.

Everyone got down from the elevator except him.

He stayed back and fisted the underwear out of his pocket, bringing it close to his nose without hesitating.

He sniffed.

This should be enough to fight the pheromones.

It should be enough to get rid of the hormones.

But that was a mistake.

A large one.

[Luminaria, Black Swan Ballet School]

Time here is different from the human world.

It's currently 4pm, but school is still full of dancers. Classes have been non-stop.

The five newbies have been taking written ballet classes since morning, no dance practices yet.

They're only just leaving the last written class, and now they have the time to eat their lunch.

It's been a tough first day.

As they made their way to the cafeteria to eat, Shayla's feet was killing her in her heels shoes.

She's bending her heels to walk, and Xena noticed very fast.

"My legs ..." She grunted.

"I have a solution for that..." Xena said, opening her backpack and bringing out flat shoes.

"How come you have this?" Shayla blinked.

"Ryker gave them to me, said you weren't comfortable with heels, so I kept them, waiting for when you'd complain." Xena replied, and Shayla smiled, wondering how he found out about that.

She took them from her, flipped off her heels and put on the flat shoes, feeling much more at ease.

"Can I use the restroom? I need to urinate. Wait here for me." Xena suddenly said, and Shayla nodded.

Xena made her way into the restroom, and Shayla stood outside, viewing Ryker's last message.

She shouldn't text again if she doesn't kill anyone?

Strict.

She clenched her thighs for the umpteenth time today.

Her throat went dry, the hot scent hitting her nose again.

Is this the pheromone rush Cheyenne talked about?

Why is she feeling like urinating even when there's no urine in her bladder? She has urinated close to twenty times today.

Also, her back.

The middle of her back.

She's suddenly feeling weird over there. She feels weird and hot, and she feels like eyes are watching her, so she turned around, but no one is in that corner.

She's alone.

"I'm done." Xena came out of the bathroom, and just as they were about to leave, Soren appeared from the corner.

"Follow me" he told Xena.

"Me?" Xena's heart skipped beats.

He simply walked away without replying, and Xena looked at Shayla.

"Go to the cafeteria, I'll be right back."

"If he tries anything funny, send me a message through a bee, I'll come for you." Shayla muttered.

"Of course" Xena smiled, rushing after Soren.

Shayla left that corridor too, and a minute later, Liza came out of one of the corners, looking impressed.

"My daughter looks good, as she should. Guess the demigod is doing his partner job well." She smiled.

--

[Cafeteria]

The former Shayla would have cowered and stepped back the moment she entered the cafeteria, but according to Ryker, she's not supposed to be scared of anyone that's not him, so she entered despite the various evil eyes.

Sadie and Mercury are at a clear side of the care, drinking soy milk and glaring at her.

Kade is on another side, and he's not even sitting down. He's on his feet, sneering at her, harder.

Faye and Blaise occupied another side, they look peaceful, and Faye is even smiling at her.

The cafeteria buzzed with noises from other dancers who're discussing about what they're going to wear to tonight's mirror maze party and how a distant prince is coming to get a bride at the party.

The females are already clamoring on who he's going to chose, and how the party is going to be a one of a kind.

Shayla settled down on a middle table, sitting the lunch pack on the table and setting the dishes in front of herself.

The first thing her eyes caught was dim sum, the pastry her mother used to serve her when she was still living with her, and as she remembered, her mood got ruined.

             {Age 4, Liza's Mansion}

Growing up, Shayla knew her life wasn't the usual bed of roses tales.

Being a product of rape and a half-breed, she was always in the wrong with her mother Liza, nothing could ever please the woman.

She just finished her dinner for tonight—five pieces of dim sum. She ate them and drank some water from the kitchen kettle cos the freezer isn't open for her.

The moment she drank the warm water, her stomach hurt like hell, but who's she gonna cry to?

She went to the storage room where she sleeps nightly.

She lay on the mat and clutched at her tummy, crying silently.

Even as a 4 year old kid, she knows what pains entails.

She has been through it more time than she could count.

She was crying silently when Liza barged into the store room. Her stomach is heavy with Kade's pregnancy.

Cruelty flashed across her face when she saw Shayla sleeping on that mat, every existing nasty thing lined in her head for pick.

"How many times do you want me to repeat myself! You don't belong in a bed or even a mat! You should sleep on the floor! Floor!!" She pulled the mat away from Shayla.

"Ma, I'm..I'm sorry. It's just that my stomach has been acting up." Shayla struggled to her knees.

"I am not your ma! Stop calling me ma! I'm not your mother! I might have given birth to you, but it aches to see you always so stop! Every half-breed are always sent to the census office immediately they're birthed, but I had to bribe the managers just to make you spend five years with me, do you know why?" Liza pulled her up by her ear.

"Ma...ma please...it hurts!!" Shayla cried out.

"It's because I want to hurt you as much as your father hurt me! How dare he rape me at my weakest! How dare he put something like you in my stomach! And you, you're just a skinny little idiot who won't know your place! I lost my powers all because of you, and you still turned bold enough to sleep on a mat?" She pulled out a broomstick.

Hellish cries leaked out of Shayla's lips as she began thrashing her with the broomstick, wickedly.

                  {Present Time}

Shayla stopped herself from crying. She held the tears in the brims of her lids, trying to take her mind away from the awful remembrance.

She started eating her meal in the noisy cafe, pushing the dim sum dish away and going for a plate of salad and pasta.

At the same time, she's looking at the door frequently for any sign of Xena.

"Look who's eating with the royals, boldly." Sadie appeared in front of her suddenly.

"I bet she's having the best time of her life. It's a once in a lifetime privilege." Mercury joined her, they both sat in front of her.

"May I join this table too?" Kade appeared too, taking her seat right beside her.

Shayla dropped her fork, looking up.

"What do y'all want from me?" She asked simply.

"A lot, and I mean it." Sadie replied, taking her plate of salad. She spat inside it and gave it to Mercury.

Mercury spat inside it too, and Kade did the same across the table, then they dropped it back for her.

"But," Sadie stood. "Maybe I might reconsider if you eat this " she smiled.

"C'mon, that's what slaves should eat. The fact that you're a lowly partner counts as nothing. The jewelries on your body is just decor, no amount of panel beating can save you according to Sadie." Mercury laughed.

"Clear your plate." Kade added beside her.

Shayla looked at the plate of food, then at the three people surrounding her. She looked around, and she saw everyone staring at that table, expecting the explosion.

Faye and Blaise aren't far from them, and they look the most anxious.

"It's starting." Faye sighed, plopping a grape into her mouth.

"I wonder what's Kade's issue with her though." Blaise said.

Shayla suddenly stood from the chair she's sitting on, but Kade pulled her back by the shoulder.

She stood again, and this time, Sadie and Mercury brought her back to her seat.

"Try to stand again, and you'll die flat on this table. You won't walk out of this cafeteria alive!" Sadie threatened.

Shayla stood, overlooking her threat.

"What can you do to me anyways? You're nothing without your brother. And why hate on me just because I was bought by the demigod? I'm not the cause of your ugly misfortunes." She slammed.

"Oh...she's talking." Mercury stood.

"You really shouldn't have done that." Sadie flipped the table away, wasting the dishes and drawing more attention to that angle.

The cafe is as silent as a graveyard right now, expect for the sound of her harsh breathings as she stomped to Shayla, raising her hand and trying to throw her against the wall.

Mercury and Kade have their hands raised too, the three planning to hot her at the same time.

The death would be clean.

But then...Shayla did the same.

She raised her hand, and Sadie laughed.

"You're really crossing your boundaries, see you in the next life." She muttered, signalling to the others.

They sent her strikes at the same time, but Shayla counterattacked with hers.

She used her mind, doing just as Ryker taught. The three of them flew to the south, east and north sides of the cafeteria, and they sustained injuries on their faces.

Everyone stood, eyes doubling up in wideness and chests thumping with sudden fear.

They could suddenly feel Ryker's aura from her. It's unmistakable.

The silence deepened, and Blaise was the last to stand up beside Faye.

"What's going on? She actually defeated Sadie?" He muttered.

"I knew I was gonna need a drink for today. Gosh!" Faye fawned over Shayla.

Sadie and her co-bullies are still on the ground, groaning.

She mind-linked to Soren, telling him to come to the cafeteria to join her right now, but nothing came.

She stood to her feet, Mercury and Kade joined her again.

For the second time, they tried their lucks, but Shayla swayed to the south, plucking the windows from the cafe with her mind.

The glass windows came crashing on the heads of all three of them.

It even entered Kade and Sadie's bodies like clothes, and their flesh got cut with the window blades in several places.

Gasps. Screams. Yells.

Everything loud filled the cafeteria at the same time, and Mercury was the first to fall on her knees, tears falling out of her eyes.

Shayla stood there, stunned by her own doings, but she likes it. This power. This control.

She's enjoying it.

Slowly, she lifted the fallen table head, bringing it to both Kade and Sadie.

"Oh no..." Blaise muttered.

"RIP Sadie Millions!!!" Faye screamed, tension crawling into the cafe again.

--

[Human World, Frost H2O Meeting]

Ryker's mind has been on a loop since the start of the meeting.

Not a single thing is entering his ears. It's like someone had the two blocked with some cotton.

Now it's not even only the pheromone rush. The underwear with him is making him crazy, and he's getting sudden coldness which is not even supposed to happen.

His body is shaking, and at the same time, his head is hazing out.

The words of the senior staffs who're making reports and showcasing their new products came as white noise to him. He's not hearing anything.

It got worse with the minutes, seconds... milliseconds.

Sage leaned into him.

"Boss, are you ok?" He asked the question.

Ryker couldn't even answer.

He froze the meeting hall, and all staffs went frozen on their seats and feet. Everyone iced up except Cheyenne and Sage.

"Five minutes." Ryker stood from his swivel,. He conjured a gateway on the wall, and he left through the gateway.

"Not understanding anything at the moment." Sage said confusedly.

"Me neither." Cheyenne said.

--

[Luminaria, Ballet School]

Three steps.

Shayla was only able to take three steps forward with the table head.

Before she could even get near them, her morale went down.

It's like something fell from her body, and she immediately realized it's the pill. The pill power time is up, and now she's back to normal.

The table head fell from her, and Mercury stood when she noticed that.

Sadie and Kade are still on the ground, bleeding and crying loudly especially Kade.

"You're dead!" Mercury spat, taking the table head and coming for her.

Shayla stepped back, her back meeting with the wall.

"No." Faye muttered.

She almost ran to the scene, but cold icy air suddenly entered the cafeteria, sharing flu and chills to the skin of everyone.

Some even went blind when it entered their eyes, and by the time it disappeared, Shayla was already gone.

Mercury flung herself back to the ground, spitting blood.

"What was that?" Faye stopped midway as everyone stood from their hiding spots like.

Blaise looked at Sadie and Kade on the ground, and he clicked his tongue.

"The mighty has fallen."

--

[East Palace, Heartless Tower]

Shayla didn't understand anything till she arrived here, and she felt a huge sense of relief when she saw who took her away from the school...

Ryker.

He's right in front of her, looking dashing in a suit. It's the first time she'd be seeing him wear that, and that colour is just... Perfect.

He's looking at her hungrily, and she has no idea why he looks like that. His lips are slightly parted, and his jaws kept moving up, down.

"I would have killed them, but the pill power ended, and I was robbed of my glory. Hope you're not mad about that, I'll do better next time. Also, I dunno but the middle of my back kept feeling weird, and I've been feeling like urinating but whenever I visited the restroom, there was no pee, and—"

"It's not urine, Shayla." He cut her off with a silent mutter, eyes unchanging.

Shayla gasped. He just called her by her name!

"It's not urine, you're wet." He whispered deeply, his throat moving up and down again.

"You...you just called my name." She whispered shockingly.

"Congratulations on getting into the school in top 1, Firefly." He hushed, and UNEXPECTEDLY, his mouth lowered into her face.

He kissed her lips.
