"But...are we gonna remain in this place forever like you promised?" Vonn asked.

Anassa tucked the picture into the front folds of her gown, then she went back to sit down. Vonn followed her and stood in front of her chair.

"I'll wait here till she returns to visit, then after that...I can decide weather to relocate to the city with the villagers or stay." Anassa said.

Vonn sat on a chair across her.

"Are you gonna tell her you're her birth mother when she comes?"

"That'd be cheating. I have no right to tell her that. The parents I sold her to might be dead, but agreement is agreement. I'm ok with watching her from afar.

Vonn left his chair and went to sit with her.

"Don't ponder too much." He said.

Anassa gave his hair a single stroke. "Of course.".

[President's Mansion, Circus]

"The powder will be ready within a week." Empress talked.

"Two days." Spyros grunted, his impatience showing through his choice of words..

"What's the rush?" Empress gave him a suspicious look.

"Four got taken by Usman, and I'm not sure if he's gonna return alive or dead. Either way, I have to blow the powder before he returns." Spyros explained.

Empress spranged up. "Usman contacted you?" Her eyes turned wide.

Spyros went silent.

"You should have told me! You know how hard I've been searching and searching for that bastard!" Empress ranted.

"You don't decide when he speaks to you, he makes the decision, and you'll only follow the map he draws. So sit down, think of how to make my powder ready in two days and await his call!" Spyros slammed.

Empress sat back, her right leg curving over the left one as she smirked repeatedly.

"But Spyros... If sins are to be weighted, mine isn't as weighty as yours." She suddenly said.

"What are you talking about?"

Empress stood again, laughing shortly before walking around the circus.

"You lusted after Rue for years till you became obsessed. You made friends with her and her boyfriend cos you wanted to entice her with your riches, but she wasn't moved, so guy stole their projects and graduated as the best student with it, then you sent them to jail where you starved them and ruined Rue's womb. It didn't end there, you went ahead to kill them when you found out they have a child together..."

Empress faced him at this point, and Spyros' frown deepened.

"The cliff river accident, it was you... wasn't it?" Empress grinned.

"I didn't kill them! I wouldn't have killed Rue!" Spyros stood.

"And you expect me to believe that when you're the same person who sent assassins to kill Xanthe's girlfriend and her family just cos they're poor?" Empress sneered.

"Her father deserved to die, he's the same store owner who killed Yulia's first three babies for you!" Spyros stated, and Empress laughed wickedly, hauntingly.

"You have no right to judge others, Spyros. Now I'm not even sure about my safety cos I know all your secrets. You might send assassins to me too." Empress muttered.

"Oh...I forgot your buddy from day one ... Katerina is also a keeper of your secrets. That makes two of us." She continued.

"I know your secrets, and you know mine too, so I'll never betray you. You have my words." Spyros assured.

"I'd rather stand on nails than stand on your words, Spyros. How did you even become President? How many people did you kill to bury your filthy secrets and spread your tents of pathological lies? Tens? Hundreds?" Empress scoffed.

"Emily!" Spyros snapped, and her sick laughter sounded again.

She drank the remaining tea in her cup before wearing her face cap.

"And like I said...the powder I gave you that year...it worked. Teal ain't Rue's daughter. She might belong to Vaughn, but not Rue." She said before wearing her mask.

She left the circus.

Behind the flower branches around the circus, a figure retracted, and the shadow disappeared between the flower trees.

[Xanthe's Room]

Xanthe is pacing his room, looking completely restless with his phone to his ear shell.

He has barely spent ten hours in this mansion, and yet it's starting to feel like he's inhabiting a thorn.

Quentin isn't even helping things.

He dislikes the dude at first sight, and Quentin made it his job to annoy him at every chance he gets...

Like eating his ice cream, like trying to share a bed with him at night.

How??

He needs out, but Jason is still not picking his rings.

Quentin strolled into the room with yet another bowl of his ice cream from the freezer, and he instantly wants to give him strangulation.

"Yunno I was starting to think that are you a sweet tooth kid with the ice cream? But now I get it. They're so good, especially when stolen from you." Quentin waved the white small spoon at him.

Xanthe pushed him away from the door and bypassed him into the hall.

"You're leaving me here again?." Quentin said.

Xanthe raised his middle finger up without looking back, and Quentin went after him, blocking his way.

"I might have heard something that'll be beneficial to you, do you wanna hear it?" He asked seriously.

"Don't talk to me, I lose appetite by just seeing your face." Xanthe replied, bypassing him again and going down the backstairs.

"Ouch! That hit hard." Quentin commented.

He made a turn to go back to the room, but he saw Katerina climbing up the front staircase.

"Xanthe just left through the backstairs." Quentin reported.

Katerina rushed her steps to the staircase, but she suddenly turned.

"Morgan Hall, the Sheriff's daughter. I haven't seen you calling her these days." She said.

"We broke up." Quentin shrugged.

"What!" Katerina came back to him, and he leaned back with a questioning look.

"Why are you so surprised? Lovers are meant to break up after they fall out of love with each other."

"Not lovers like her, are you crazy? You know the power her mother wields in Kalynda? She's the Sheriff's daughter! I might be the President's secretary, but there are places my power won't enter, and that includes the Sheriff's office. That woman is arrogant and her daughter is the only leverage I hold on her since you both got on a relationship, but you what?" Katerina scoffed.

Quentin moved his mouth on the ice cream trapped there. It's already heating up between his teeth.

"I don't care what you do or how you do it, but get her back. Go on your knees if you have to." Katerina ordered.

"I have another girlfriend now!" Quentin dropped the ice cream bowl.

"I don't care Quentin! Get Morgan back!" Katerina sneered, leaving him on that hall.

She finally went downstairs.

--

[Picture Room]

Xanthe was surprised to see all pictures gone from the wall when he got there, but at the same time he wasn't surprised.

He expected something like this, and that's why he has photographed the four walls of the two rooms on his phone, so he has evidence.

Evidence that his father was...and is still obsessed with the late Rue. He has to show the pictures to Jason, maybe it'd help in the investigation.

And that's why he has to leave this mansion as soon as possible.

He's gonna help with investigating his father, and maybe after he lands in jail, he's gonna leave the country and return to Miami to live as a commoner.

He's just so sure that his father is unclean, and he's so eager to uncover what's under the black shawls.

His eyes caught the gemstones around his wrist, and he smiled lightly.

If Gem was here, she'd surely have an idea. She wanted to become a cop, and she hated injustice. Too bad she died and left too many injustices behind. The police bureau would be lucky to have a talent like her.

He was still standing there in the middle of the now empty room when Mrs. Katerina entered too.

He lowered his wrist and began walking out of the room, ignoring her.

Mrs. Katerina ran after him though.

"I'm sorry!" She said breathlessly.

Xanthe stopped, retracting the step he was about to take. He turned around.

"I see why you're still single and childless. No child deserves a puppet like you as a mother. You'll remain loyal to my father till your grave, and it's fine. You both are buddies anyways, and maybe you're just as dirty as him. Now stay away from me, or I'll slap you like he did." He meant every word as he talked.

Katerina stood there, shocked. It's the first time Xanthe talked disrespectfully to her, and it burns.

He resumed his walk out, and she went after him again...

"Fine... I and The President, Rue and Vaughn... even Empress. Five of us attended UNN College." She said quickly.

Xanthe turned back for the second time.

"Are you telling lies to get my attention?"

"No! I'm not deceiving you. Your father graduated as the best student, that was part of his portfolio that made him President. And your father really liked Rue..." Katerina said.

Xanthe was about to go back to him when a guard entered the room.

"Time to go, ma'am. Mr. President is waiting."

"We'll talk about this when I return." Katerina gave Xanthe a small smile before leaving with the guard.

Xanthe sighed, standing by the door.

Ok. Maybe he's gonna stay one more day in this house to find things out completely.

And he needs to text Jason.

He didn't pick calls, she should at least reply texts.

He typed the text.

Xanthe: My father's obsession confirmed. Empress also went to the same school.

Jason replied immediately.

Jason: Copy that. I'm currently working on Moussaka mansion, trying to find out the exact time that server was killed. One of the servers is Usman's spy, or even the owner. Once I'm done, I'll come get you.

Xanthe: I'll be waiting.

[Military Base, T&F Suite]

"You claimed to have trained only her with the black training book, but Sierra somehow has the same skills as her? Sounds like a lie." Four said.

He's standing now.

A bandage is wrapped from his back to his stomach like a clothe. He's still shirtless, and it's obvious he's still feeling pains from his back.

It's showing through his sour face.

"I'm not lying to you. I've stayed celibate all my life, and i have no child to train with that book, so I don't know how this came about." Paul claimed.

"You're the same person who tried to shoot me at the island last year, believing you would be inserting a needle into my pee hole." Four replied, and Paul stood.

"I was confused! All I had in my mind was protecting Teal! The president got into my head, and I wasn't thinking! Also, he threatened us with our illegal artillery, so I and Dave had no choice! A citizen like you threatening you is dangerous, but a President threatening us? You know what I'm talking about...it was hard for me too! And I'm sorry, but I'll never betray Rue and Vaughn! I'm Vaughn's elder brother, and we are loyal folks in the Ambrose family, so whatever would bring harm to Teal, I'm not in it." Paul said with heavy breaths, the weight of his words settling in the room.

Silence followed, and Four sat back beside Teal, deciding to give it a rest.

"What part of the family did Dave come from?" Yulia asked.

"Dave is Rue's elder brother." Paul replied.

"And you trust him?" Yulia asked.

"I and Dave have been running the artillery together since years ago, and there have been no foul play. Dave is just as loyal as me." Paul nodded.

"Are you sure about that?" Yulia asked, suspiciously.

"Very sure." Paul nodded.

Teal stood, walking to him slowly.

"So you're telling me right now that my parents might still be alive somewhere." She said.

"Not only that, your father might not even be blind. He might have fooled everybody into thinking he was blind just to get famous." Paul explained.

Teal couldn't even blink as she listened.

She looked back at Four, and he gave her a soft nod, then she turned back to Paul.

"Any other thing? You can't keep things from me again at this point. We need everything we can get cos all of these is tangled, and we need a trail."

"You know your parents were banned from the medical line cos they stole a project, right?" Paul said.

"Which I never believed, cos my parents were the purest humans alive." Teal attacked.

"I know, so I went to UNN College to make inquiries, and I was told that the person they stole project report from...is the President." Paul narrated.

"What!"

"Yeah...your parents attended same school as him, but on scholarship. Even Mrs. Katerina attended the same school." Paul clarified.

"Stole Spyros results? If there's anyone who's a thief, then it's Spyros himself. That man is a snake, and it's very obvious." Yulia scoffed.

Four's phone buzzed softly. It's a text from Jason.

He smirked slightly when he finished reading the message.

"Xanthe texted Jason. It has been confirmed that President Spyros was in lust with Rue, and he's still obsessed with her after her death. They all attended the same school, but not just four of them, they were five." He said.

"Who's the fifth person?" Teal asked.

"Empress." Four replied, and gasps blurted from Teal and Paul.

"Why am I not surprised? Of course Spyros and Empress are conjoined. Evil begets evil." Yulia muttered.

"I feel like something huge happened in that college, and maybe that something huge is connected to Usman? I know I'm not making sense but I just..." Teal sighed.

Four pulled her back to himself, took the thin strands of hair on her face away with his fingers before giving her another soft nod.

"Don't overthink, I'm here. Always."

She smiled, then they both faced Paul and Yulia.

"I also have a feeling they're connected. Maybe if we crack what actually happened in UNN College, we'll find who Usman is? And maybe we'll find where Rue and Vaughn are. Dead or alive." Yulia said.

"Maybe." Paul said.

"You're not to breathe a word of this to Dave." Four warned.

"I... understand." Paul hesitated.

"I'm not saying it for saying sake, Paul. Breathe a word of it to Dave, and you'll die faster than fate wrote." Four further warned.

"I said I understand... I'll keep updating you on anything I find, and I'll write you prescriptions of the drugs to buy for your healing help." Paul nodded.

"Commander General sir! The President is here with his entourage for the yearly inspection!" A Sergeant reported by the door.

"Inspection? Suddenly?" Yulia frowned.

"I'll go check it out" Teal rushed inside to dress up in her uniform.

She came out two minutes later, still buckling her belt.

Four took it from her and slid the leather into the buckle, bolting up for her just like last time at the podium.

She rewarded him with a peck, then she rushed out of the suite.

"I'll go check it out with her." Yulia said, leaving too.

Now it's just uncle Paul and Four.

"I dunno why her parents agreed to give her to you before their deaths, but whatever they saw... it's starting to show. People might call you ruthless, but you're actually not very problematic. I dunno what trapped you inside your room for years, and I dunno how you got that scar, but I know they're connected, and I'm hoping to they're not connected to her parents death. Please don't disappoint me." Paul said.

Four exhaled. "Move your artillery from your ranch to another location. When things get heated, Spyros will try to trap you with it."

"I'm already working on that." Paul nodded. "Teal is undoubtedly tough, but I know she cares deeply for you than anyone. I've actually never seen her cry for anyone but her dead parents." Paul smiled.

"You should leave now, your return flight is waiting." Four said curtly.

"Sure, I'll be in touch." Paul left the Suite.

Four returned inside to dress up in his uniform too. Not even this minor wound would stop him from showing his face to the president and give him sleepless nights again.

Spyros' days are numbered.

He was already leaving the room when he saw a small white bottle of dr^gs beside the second pillow.

It's definitely Teal's birth control pills.

He wanted to walk past, ignore. But he couldn't.

Not when things are starting to come to light. Not when things are starting to look interconnected.

He took the bottle, poured the dr^gs in the flusher and flushed it off, then he replaced them with similar pills.

He left the suite.

[Forest]

"I got the last flag!" Brent jumped down heavily from a rock, waving the yellow flag in the air.

That's the last flag for their team.

Paine is already holding the second one. April is holding the third.

"I'm the only one who didn't find a flag?" Theo exhaled.

"Don't be sad, better days are coming." Brent gave him a mocking pat which made Theo smile.

"You should hold the flags then." Paine gave him the first flag.

April also gave him the third, and Brent gave him the one that's with him.

Theo tucked them carefully into his uniform pocket.

"I think we'll be the first to get back to the basem. It's time to leave, isn't it?" He looked up.

"Yeah." April and Paine said in a flat chorus.

Brent and Theo exchanged glances.

"You really need to stop talking when I'm talking these days, it's annoying." April said.

"Respectfully, Sergeant April. I don't do it intentionally. I'm not someone who chases clout, and last time I checked, no one says I can't talk when you're talking." Paine scoffed.

"You're really living up to your name, a pain in the arse." April scoffed in the same manner.

"I can be a d+ck in your arse too, depends on how you want it." Paine replied, and April swung an hand to his face, slapping him soundly.

Paine's lip got a slight burst.

Brent and Theo gasped.

"Sergeant April!"

"You heard what he said!" April snapped at them.

Paine wiped the blood on his lip, then he gave April his two middle fingers.

"F+ck you! I don't care if you're a Sergeant or higher! F+ck you!" He said, obviously pained by that slap.

He went down the mountain, and April balled her fists.

"I've never seen you lose your temper that way before." Brent muttered.

"Guys!" Rook called from the east, emerging with Morgan and Shannon.

"We got our complete three flags!" Morgan raised the team flag.

"The team who gets back to the base first with the flags gets the points though." Theo spoke.

Brent broke into a run with the flags immediately.

Shannon snatched the flags from Morgan.

"You won't be able to run with your br+àsts." She said, then she ran after Brent, down the mountain.

"What do you mean my br+sts!" Morgan joined the run too.

April simply walked after them, leaving just Rook and Theo.

"I didn't get any flag for my team." Theo made faces.

Rook bit his lip, rubbing his hair fondly. Two "I got two flags for my team. Morgan and Shannon got one."

"Is that mockery?" Theo squinted, and Rook chuckled.

"Be better next time"

"I will, I promise." Theo smiled brightly it could power a country.

Dipping his hand in his pocket, Rook brought out the necklace, and Theo stayed stunned till he fixed it around his neck.

The pendant is a small bunny, and it's so cute.

"I got it since I was 10, wanting to give it to my first girlfriend." He said.

"So...I'm your girlfriend?" Theo caressed the pendant, staring deep into his eyeballs.

"I love you, Theodore. I'm always open about my feelings, I can't keep it to myse—"

Theo's lips already captured his own before that speech could finish.

Rook inhaled on his lips, shutting his eyes and snaking his arms around the smaller guy.

"I love you...it's driving me mad. I love you, Theodore Kris." He repeated, deepening the kiss.

"I...I..lov...I know." Theo whispered back, his fingers entwining in Rook's hair, and his eyes going shut too.

--

Getting to the foot of the mountain, Kash was waiting.

Shannon arrived before Brent, and she didn't even wait for Kash's comment before dashing past him—to the base.

Brent came in a run, and just like Shannon, he dashed past Kash.

"What the..." Kash smiled, watching as each team ran past him with their flying yellow flags.

Morgan stumbled on a stunt. She fell at his feet, then she looked up from there and groaned.

"Get up." He ordered.

"Yes sir!" She smiled, spranging up.

She continued her competitive run, and Kash checked his wristwatch, awaiting others.

--

[Base]

President Spyros and Katerina arrived with the labor and security sector since some minutes ago, and they're still on the inspection which Spyros is not even doing with his whole heart.

All he wants to do is round it up soon and ask for Four. The moment they can't produce him or his whereabouts, a sanction follows.

Teal and Yulia and several other Sergeants are behind him, adding to his entourage.

He's currently coming out of the ammunition warehouse.

"There'll be replacements before the end of today. The ships are also ready for use. They'll be on the shore by tomorrow morning."

"Ships?" Teal asked.

"I got three ships for the base. Adequacy is important. Also, the base kitchen will get a heavy restock that'd last till the half of this year." Spyros continued.

His entourage clapped loudly, and the videographer stepped back to capture the moment clearly.

"Axel DeVille?" Spyros asked.

"In the level 3 prison. His judgement comes tomorrow." Yulia replied.

"And The General himself? Why am I not seeing him here?" Spyros stopped walking, turning back.

Yulia and Teal went silent.

Spyros stared from one to another, and he was about to fuel the fire when the Sergeants at the back paved ways. Four appeared in their middle, and though he looks slightly pale as a result of of his lost blood, he's here.

The shock in Spyros' eyes was heavy, and Four could feel the weight on his pale skin.

Also, the hate, rage, fury in Four's eyes is currently darker than any midnight. It's much, more than Teal has ever seen before.

Like he wants to tear Spyros limb by limb and have him tossed for the dogs then roast the dogs who ate him.

Even Yulia felt the shift in the air, and everyone else present.

Ten minutes later, Spyros was already leaving the base with his entourage.

He drove in the same car with Katerina, and they rolled of a partition in the middle to block them from the driver.

"Usman didn't take him?" Katerina said in confusion.

Spyros didn't reply. He just picked his phone and dialled Usman's last hotline. Surprisingly, it has barely started ringing when Usman picked..

"I've been expecting your call, President Spyros Dimitris. I'm busy planning my next attack but that still won't stop me from communicating with you since we're kinda like besties now." Usman said calmly.

First time he talked calmly.

"You didn't take Four, he's still in the base, alive!" Spyros snapped.

"And what made you think I'd actually make a deal with you?" Usman laughed, breaking the calm.

"What!"

"Anyways, we talked about your payment when we were talking, right?" Usman calmed again.

"You didn't take him, so why are you even talking about payment!" Spyros yelled.

"I don't play fair, Spyros. So I'm taking your son as payment. When you get home, dig his grave and have the lady dinner with him." Usman said.

"No...no..not Xanthe! Not Xanthe!!" Spyros yelled, but the line already went off.

"Not Xanthe! Usman!! Usman!!!"

Spyros was running insane as he threw the phone off, drawing down the partition.

"Step on the gas and get home fast. Step on it!" He yelled.

Katerina was gentle beside him, wishing there's something she could do to somehow help this large growing case.

Usman is taking things far now, and something is telling her he hasn't even started.

--

[Therapeia Underground Annex]

By the time Empress returned, Hera is already there with The Marquis.

Even Dave is still there, still drinking silently and watching the movements of everyone.

Number 44 is still crying in her ward.

"You're one odd woman, Emily. What exactly is your connection with the President? You're telling me he knows you're here, yet he's keeping your secrets? After you killed the General?" The Marquis said.

He's sitting in a chair not far from Dave, and Hera is standing in front of Number 44 ward, staring at her.

"You have no right to question my connections, Marquis Mathews." Empress sat, too.

"I stand as a mother figure to your daughter, and you give me the needed protection. Now, shall we start the map?" Empress stood.

Hera smiled at Number 44 before facing the rest.

"So what's next?"

"I'm leading a coup. Sierra is dead, so that base has no right to remain standing. In one word, I'm destroying this country from this underground, and Hera here will be my human weapon." Empress briefed.

"So...I'm like your lab rat?" Hera said.

"A lab tigress in your case." Empress tapped the table, calling the attention of the assistants.

"Prepare the electric water tub."

--

[Military Base, 8PM]

Teal's eyes are closed, and she's in the middle of the base forest currently.

Wearing a skirt for the first time in her life, but the skirt is a very f+ckin short flayed one, and her p+nty is showing plus her smooth arse cheeks.

She's wearing a black singlet, no br@ inside. Her n+pples are a big dot.

Her hair is down, she definitely used the curling iron cos they're in dark wavy curls, and she's also wearing makeup.

She's wearing one of Four's slip-ons that's a lot bigger than her feet, but they're pretty. She's carrying a really small cute brown shoulder bag which she crossed on her tummy.

Four is right behind her, dressed just as openly as her.

His brown compression shirt is armless, and his p+nts are short, showing off his legs. His hair is in a hot mess which he did intentionally.

His hands are covering her eyes from behind, and they're both smiling.

"You're not taking me for the kill, right?" Teal chuckled.

"You'd kill me before I get the opportunity to kill you." Four replied, and she smiled, continuing.

She followed his lead, no idea where they're going. But she trusts him, and it ended well.

They arrived on top of a round cut tree that looks like a rock, and he finally took his hands off her eyes.

Her eyes stretched beyond limits, and her mouth turned a madly big O.

The place is decorated like a dinner island, only that it's black and brown and red.

Black candles which formed candle paths, brown and black roses sprinkled everywhere. String lights over trees which are blinking red and brown in turns.

There's a table with two chairs, and on top of the table, there's a waiting meal, and everything is covered.

Not far from the table, there's a small white tent. It's the only white thing here, and it's beautiful.

It's a starry night, and there's even a big moon sitting on the dark clouds, adding to the lights and beauty.

Teal's eyes took a tour around everything, and Four was smiling as he watched her stare, till she stared back to him.

"Baby when did you even prepare all of these?"

"I figured out that with all the shits going down these days, we might not be able to have a proper date outside the base, so I prepared one here." He simply explained.

She could hear the worry in his voice.

Teal closed the space between them and stared up at him...

"Don't act tough everytime. I know you're addicted to stubbornness,  but you have me everytime everyday. I'll always be here with you. You don't have to worry too much."

"You can study me like a book. You're the best at comforting me, and it's sweet." He smiled beautifully, cupping her face like an egg.

"You do that a lot, too. I guess we're match made?" She tilted her head in his palms, and he smiled again.

"Why do you even love the stars so much, especially the big dipper?" She asked, her starry eyes not blinking as she she held them with his own.

"Cos it's different from all the stars. I love deviations, like me." He explained.

"That's a no-brainer." She laughed.

He brought his face down, resting his forehead on hers.

"Promise me that, no matter the... Outcome of all of these dirty secrets and even the ones you're still keeping from me which I'm sure you'll still spill, no matter the results...We'll stay by each other for life. I'll remain your Asteri—your star, and you'll remain my baby." She whispered.

"That's a no-brainer." He mimicked her, causing her to smile again.

"I'm so happy...so f+ckin happy tonight. Thank you for setting this mood, baby." She  slid his arm on his chest, and his arms went behind to grab her open arse.

At the same time, they looked up at the sky, having a long look at the stars...the big dipper. The moon."

"The stars or the big dipper?" She asked hypothetically.

"Your eyes." He replied, and she automatically turned back to him, her chest is beginning to palpitate again. She could hear the beatings.

"I love brown because...in the DeVille household, brown means life." He whispered, his tone so soft, so titillating. So sensual.

She couldn't look away, couldn't breathe... actually. She couldn't.

"But to me...brown is YOU." He finished the statement, and red hue painted her cheeks so bad.

"Eros..." She whispered, too.

"You're my brown, Teal."

She was smiling as she inched closer.

He stayed still, his lashes slowly, coming together, but just as their lips were about to touch...

"You burn my best friend and you have the nerves to create a mood here? Damn you both!!!" Allegra screamed, barging into the place.

Her gun is pointing at the two of them, her finger under the trigger, ready to pull...

"Go to hell, you both!"

Teal and Four drew their guns simultaneously, and they parted ways as Allegra shot.

The bullet flew past their middle to shatter one of the string light bulbs.

Simultaneously again, Teal and Four shot back at Allegra.

Her hips. Her kneecaps. Her cranium.

In that order.

Allegra's blood spilled on the roses, adding more red to it.

"Beautiful." The two of them muttered.

The bî+ch fell from the round rock to the far pit behind it, her screams choked and painful.

Teal and Four's emotive eyes returned to each other, their guns dropping from the clutches of their hands.

Two equal steps, and they're with each other.

Teal's back went down inside the bed in the white tent, and Four's big body crowned hers, their lips coming hungrily for each other. Teal opened her mouth, taking all of him.

His lips swallowed hers.

Her tongue stung his own, f+ckin his deep throat.

The kiss was darker than sin. Hotter than hellfire.

TBC.
