Days later, Mr. Daniel was discharged from the hospital and brought home, where Naomi stayed to look after him before resuming her duties at the palace.

Meanwhile, Nathan was having lunch with his family at the dining table.

"Dad, is there still a vacancy in your company?" Nathan asked, his eyes fixed on his father.

"I don't know yet, why do you ask?"

"I just want to know. I'll be going to the company tomorrow to find out."

"Are you going to take over your father's company? That would be good." She said.

"Mom, I never said I wouldn't take over Dad's company. You know I'm still doing my master's. Once I'm done, then I'll think about whether I can take over the family business or not."

"Okay, if you say so. Remember to pick your siblings up from the airport tomorrow."His mother said.

"Anna and Josh are coming?" His parents nodded in unison.

"Yes, you know my campaign is in two weeks," his father said.

"Why do they have to come? They're going to give me a headache." He groaned frustratedly.

His parents chuckled, amused by Nathan's reaction.

"They're your siblings, and you can't run away from them."His mother teased.

Back at the palace, Alex stood in his room, phone in hand, as he wrapped up a call with his HR manager in his father's company.

"I've sent you the file. Go through them and find a suitable position for it," Alex instructed before pausing. "Don't forget to get back to me once it's done."

With the call ended, he moved to the balcony, gazing out at the surroundings. The peaceful atmosphere was a welcome respite from the demands of royal life.

Just then, a knock at the door broke the silence. Alex turned to see Diva entering the room.

"Hey, bro, do you have a minute?" Diva asked, her voice hesitant.

"Sure."Alex turned to her.  "What's up?" He asked, gesturing for her to continue.

"I want to talk to you about Nathan."Diva took a deep breath.

 "What about him?"

"Be honest with me, do you think he feels the same way about me as I truly feel about him?"

"To be honest, I don't know. It would be best if you two got to know each other better before trying to force something that might not work."

 "You think I'm rushing him?"

 "Maybe a little."

"So, what do I do?" Her shoulders slumped in defeat.

"Get to know each other and see if you two connect. If you do, then you can think about moving the friendship forward."

 "But I truly love him."

"Let it not be one-sided love. Let it flow naturally."

Diva sighed, her eyes clouding over with uncertainty.

Some hours later, Nathan arrived at the palace, where he met up with Diva. They strolled through the garden, chatting.

"Hope you aren't angry about what our parents said about being engaged."

 "Not really."

"Okay, I really don't want to rush you into it, but to be honest..." She paused, taking a deep breath. They stopped walking and faced each other. "I...I truly like you," Diva confessed, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Diva..." His eyes widened in surprise.

"I know, I just wanted to tell you how I truly feel about you, and I hope we can make this work."

Nathan's smile faltered for a moment before he replied, "I like you too."

Diva's face lit up with a radiant smile.

Meanwhile, Mia happened to overhear their conversation as she hid behind the corner of the building. A pang of sadness pierced her heart, and she quietly walked away.

"You do?" Her eyes shone with excitement.

"Yes, as a good friend, you are to me." Diva's face fell, her smile fading. "I know our parents are trying to get us closer together, but we need time to process if we truly are destined to be for each other."

"Why don't we try?" She said, her face brightened again.

Nathan forced a smile, his eyes not quite meeting Diva's.

Mia walked slowly to the kitchen, her face bowed in thought. She didn't notice Naomi calling out to her from behind until she felt a gentle tap on her shoulder.

Mia jolted out of her reverie, turning to face Naomi. "Oh, sorry, I didn't hear you."

"Are you okay? I was calling out to you."

 "Um, nothing's wrong."She forced a weak smile.

"I don't believe you."

"Fine... I just happened to stumble upon Nathan and Diva's love confession to each other in the garden." She sighed, her shoulders slumping.

"Oh." She pulled Mia into a warm hug. "Don't think about it too much. We just have to let it go and be happy for them."

Mia nodded, feeling a lump form in her throat. They pulled away from each other, and Naomi caressed Mia's face.

"When did you come to the palace?" Mia asked, changing the subject.

"Just now, that's why I was calling you."

 "How's Father doing?"

"Getting better. I asked Aunt to stay with him."

 "That's good."

They shared a tender moment, then walked away together, arm in arm.

Some minutes later, Naomi and Mia were engrossed in their chores in the kitchen when a guard appeared.

"Naomi, Princess Elora requests your presence in her room," he said before turning and walking away.

Naomi and Mia exchanged confused glances.

"Mom, does Princess Elora have a room in this palace?" Mia asked.

"The prince's room is her room. That's where she stays whenever she visits the palace."Mrs. Ruth, who was busy preparing lunch, replied.

Naomi gulped hard, her eyes widening in anxiety. She hadn't set foot in Alex's room in twenty years, and the thought of entering it now made her nervous.

"I can come with you if you want," Mia offered, noticing Naomi's unease.

"No, you don't have to. There's a lot to do in the kitchen. I'll go." She turned to Mrs. Ruth. "Mom, can you tell me where the room is located in the palace?"

Mrs. Ruth nodded and provided Naomi with directions.

Some minutes later, Naomi stood outside the door, hesitating to knock. Taking a deep breath, she finally gathered the courage and rapped on the door. A soft voice invited her in.

Naomi pushed the door open quietly and stepped inside. The air-conditioned room enveloped her, filled with the sweet scent of air freshener. She gazed around in awe, taking in the magnificent interior.

Her eyes landed on a figure sleeping peacefully on the bed, the duvet covering him up to his waist. Naomi's breath caught as she took in his muscular, shirtless torso. She gulped hard, her heart racing.

"Are you drooling over my husband?" Elora asked harshly.

Naomi turned to see Elora sitting at the balcony with her legs crossed, wearing a white t-shirt that revealed her sexy legs. She was sipping tea, her expression serene.

"Um, no, my princess," she replied, her voice trembling slightly.

"Are you calling me a liar?" Her voice rose. "I just caught you, and you're denying it."

"I am sorry," Naomi said, her face bowed in apology. Elora hissed, her anger visible.

"Get over here, and don't wake my baby up," Elora ordered, her voice firm. Naomi moved to her, her eyes downcast.

"You sent for me," she  said.

"Yes, my foot aches, and I need a massage. Now, get to work." Naomi nodded and knelt down, gently placing Elora's leg on hers. "Do it gently, and don't make any sounds to wake my baby up."

"Yes, your highness," She replied, starting to massage Elora's leg gently. Elora frowned at her, sipping her tea.

Just then, Alex stirred and woke up. He opened his eyes slowly, taking in the scene before him. Elora turned to see him waking up.

"Babe, are you awake?" she asked, her voice sweet.

Alex sat upright on the bed, his eyes fixed on the scene.

"What is going on here?" he asked, his voice firm.

"You're finally awake. You slept like a baby." She smiled.

"I asked a question. What is going on here?"

"Oh, I'm just getting a leg massage. My feet hurt a little."

"Don't you have maids to do that for you?"

"Yeah, that's why she's here." She shrugged.

"Naomi, please stop doing that and excuse us."Alex sighed, trying to control his anger.

"Yes, your highness." She stood up, bowing and hurried out of the room, leaving Alex and Elora alone.
