Arya was watering the flowers in the garden, oblivious to the fact that Samara and Kiara were watching her from the balcony.

"I just wish she could just disappear. How I hate her guts!" she exclaimed, her voice laced with venom.

"Me too, I think Karan is beginning to have a soft spot for her," she said, her eyes gleaming with concern.

"Really?" she asked.

"Yes, I am more scared of losing Karan to her," she admitted.

"We have to do something," she said.

Samara and Kiara left the balcony and came to the room. Samara smiled knowingly at Kiara, her eyes sparkling with amusement.

"What?" she asked, seeing the smile Samara was giving her.

"Is there something I should know?" Kiara asked.

"Something like what?" she asked, her voice laced with wariness.

"I saw the way you were drooling at Rohan the other day. It seems to me that you like him," she said, her voice teasing. "Tell me, do you like him?" She asked, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.

"I have always liked him," she admitted, Shyly.

"What stopped you from telling him?" she asked.

"I was scared to talk to him because he was a friend to Karan," she explained.

"How does that change anything? Don't you see Arya is taking your spot?" she asked.

"I am really scared. Rohan is the first guy I am really attracted to, and I want him," she admitted.

"Then you have to go for it. Don't let that cunning Arya girl take your spot in Rohan's life," she said, her voice filled with conviction.

"How do I stop it? They have started getting along," she said sadly.

"Then, we have to come up with a plan and stop it," she said, her voice firm. They stared at each other, their eyes locked in a conspiratorial gaze.

_Viti's room_

Later in the day, Arya and Grandma Viti sat together, having a chat. Grandma Viti's face lit up with a warm smile.

"So, tell me Arya, what do you think of Rohan? Do you like him yet?" she asked, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.

"I don't know yet, grandma," she replied. Blushing.

"Rohan is a good boy, and I recommend him for you," she said, her voice filled with conviction.

"I guess I will give it a thought," she said

They smiled at each other, their faces filled with warmth and affection.

    ♦ ROHAN'S MANSION ♦

Rohan was moving around the living room, holding a glass cup of drink. His eyes seemed distant, lost in thought, as the idea of Arya enveloped his heart. A soft smile played on his lips, and his eyes sparkled with amusement, as he couldn't believe he was falling deeply for her.

While still moving around, smiling to himself, his cellphone rang, cutting through his thoughts. He stopped, looked at the phone, and found the number strange.

"Hello?" he said, his voice curious.

Samara's voice came from the other end of the phone, her tone sounding urgent. "Hey, Rohan, it's me, Samara."

"Oh, hi Samara, how are you doing?" he asked, his voice friendly.

"Not fine, are you free, I need to talk to you urgently."

"Um, sure, I am free, is there a problem?" he asked, his voice laced with worry.

"Yes, can you meet up at the new open cafe...?" She mentioned the name of the cafe.

"Ok, I will be there."

He hung up and left for his room to freshen up, a look of curiosity etched on his face.

    ~~Cafe~~

Samara and Kiara were seated together, chatting and drinking, while waiting for Rohan to show up. Kiara's eyes sparkled with excitement as she caught sight of Rohan entering the cafe, scanning around the place, obviously looking for Samara.

"Rohan is here," Kiara whispered to Samara, her voice barely audible.

Samara's face lit up with a warm smile. "Rohan," she waved at him, and he came over to their table, sitting down.

They exchanged pleasantries, and Rohan's expression turned curious.

"You sounded urgent on the phone, what's wrong?" he asked, his eyebrows drawing together.

Samara's face turned feigned sadness, her eyes welling up with fake tears.

"I am sorry, I have to call you out at this time, you are the only one I can talk to, and you are closer to Karan," she said.

"What's wrong?" he asked, his voice filled with empathy.

Just then, Samara's cell phone rang, interrupting their conversation.

"Let me answer this call, it's from my mom," she said, getting up to answer the call.

"I am glad you came," she said, smiling at Rohan.

"Yeah, since it sounded urgent, I had to come," he replied. Smiling back at her.

"You are such a nice person, there wasn't a doubt when she said you are the one she is free to talk to," she said.

"Really? She said that?" he asked, and Kiara nodded. "Hmm, that's new, she has never once spoken to me, I was surprised when she called," Rohan added.

"hmm."

Meanwhile, Samara watched them from afar, seeing them smiling together while talking. A sly smile spread across her face as she secretly took a photo of them. She smirked, then returned to the table, feigning worry.

"I have to run along now," she said.

Kiara and Rohan stared at her confusedly.

"Is everything okay?" Kiara asked, pretending to know nothing.

"Um, not really, my mom is homesick, and she needs me to be with her."

"Oh, sorry to hear that."Rohan said.

"Yeah, I am sorry I have to leave you two behind, see you at home, Kiara," Samara said, winking at her, before rushing out.

"Poor thing, I hope her mom gets well soon."

Rohan nodded in agreement. "Yeah."

"So, tell me..." They continued chatting, their conversation flowing easily.

     ♦ KABIR'S MANSION ♦

Everyone was having a moment in the living room, doing one thing or another, when Samara entered and greeted them with a cheerful smile. Her eyes sparkled with warmth, and her face glowed with happiness.

"You are back, but where is Kiara? I thought you two went out together," Roshni said, her eyebrows drawing together.

"Yes, Mom, we did go out together, but we went our separate ways. I went to pay my mom a visit while Kiara went out with Rohan," she said.

The room fell silent, and everyone's eyes widened in surprise, including Arya.

"Rohan?" Jash asked, his eyebrows shooting up.

"Yes, excuse me, everyone," she said, nonchalantly and went inside, leaving everyone confused.

"Since when did Kiara start hanging out with Rohan?" Zara asked, confused.

"I don't think there's anything wrong with it. Kiara can hang out with anyone. Besides, Rohan isn't just anybody; he's Karan's friend. Maybe that's how they bumped into each other," Sonia said, her voice filled with reason.

An hour later, Kiara arrived home after Rohan dropped her off at the gate. She smiled at him and went inside, still smiling.

"Hello, everyone," she said, her eyes sparkling with happiness.

"Is it true you went out with Rohan?" Gian's wife's asked.

"Yes, we met at the cafe," she said.

"Since when did you start hanging out with him?" Grandma Viti asked, her eyes narrowing slightly.

"We just met and hung out. What's wrong with that?" she asked, her voice laced with a hint of annoyance.

"It's okay, dear, you can go in and freshen up. You must be tired," Gian said, his voice soothing.

Kiara smiled and walked away, while Sonia followed her behind.

"This is strange," Maya said, and they sighed.

"Maybe we shouldn't think about it too much, it could be a coincidence," Zara's husband said.

Just then, Arya's phone beeped, signaling an incoming message. She looked at it and saw a message from Rohan. Her eyes sparkled with excitement as she read the message.

"Hey, are you home?" Rohan texted.

Arya's fingers flew across the screen as she replied. "Yes."

Rohan's next message appeared on her screen. "Can you come out a bit, I'm outside."

"Ok," she replied, and then stood up to leave. "Um, excuse me, everyone," she said, and walked away.

She came out of the gate to see Rohan resting against his car, looking relaxed. When Rohan saw her, he smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners.

"Hey," he said, his voice warm.

"Hey, what are you doing here?" she asked.

"Well, I just dropped Kiara off."

"You two were together?" she asked, her voice laced with a hint of curiosity.

"Not really, I happened to meet her at the cafe where Samara asked me to come because she had something she wanted to discuss with me, but she couldn't get the chance because she left to go be with her sick mother." Arya's face turned relieved, her shoulders relaxing. "Is there a problem?" He asked.

"No, I just thought you two went out together," she said, nervously.

"No, we just met coincidentally," he said.

They smiled at each other, the tension between them dissipating.

"So, will you be free tomorrow?" he asked.

 "Yeah, why?" she asked.

"Um, you wanna hang out with me?" he asked, his eyes locked on hers. Arya's face lit up with a warm smile. She nodded without hesitation. "Okay, I'll pick you up by 10 tomorrow," he said, his voice filled with excitement.

"Sure, not a problem."

"Okay, bye," he said, and entered his car.

Arya waved at him as he drove off, a happy smile still on her face. She watched him go before turning to go inside.
