For some minutes, the training ground was silent, except for the sounds of flying sparks from the burning building.
Immediately Four pronounced the verdict, it's like everyone received low blows, and their voices were stolen.
No one expected it, and Teal received the hardest blow.
She stood there, looking at him like she's gonna attack any moment from now, and Four gazed like she's the last person he wants to see.
Like he wants her gone in the blink of an eye. Like he never wants to see her again.
The earth seemed to be revolving around only them—like they're the only ones alive that cold October dawn.
Slowly, an unusual smile tainted Teal's lips, and she brought her calves together, standing at tension before bringing her slanted hand to her head to salute.
"Yes, sir!" She said sharply.
After saluting, she shifted back and bowed too.
"I'll submit my uniform right now, won't wait till 10" she said, and then she took off her shirt, leaving her in her singlet which her n+pples are poking through.
In the process of taking off the shirt, the bun in her hair loosened, and her hair came pouring all the way to the middle of her back.
Eyes widened, but then she proceeded to taking off her trousers, leaving her in her boy shorts.
She threw the uniform at a junior Sergeant, then she walked out of the training ground, her ample br+Ã sts bouncing dangerously inside the singlet, and her hair swooshing with the air.
Abbey bit the side of his mouth to stop himself from screaming as he stared at her with the others.
"Those tits, indeed the body of a goddess" he muttered with dehydrated throat.
There's insane jealousy in the eyes of Allegra as she stared, but Sierra looks neutral, she's just smiling hard.
Stormy looks crazily jealous too, and he had to start pinching herself to contain the jealousy.
Teal is now leaving anyways, there's nothing to be insecure about anymore.
Maybe now she can finally form a rapport with Rook.
Everyone is watching Teal's exit like a period film, but not Four.
His eyes are still on the blazing building, and Rook rushed to him.
"She was only two seconds late, and I think she deserves to be pardoned. Her cable was probably tied harder than the rest of us, sir" he said.
"Move" Four replied curtly, and Rook gulped before moving out.
Four stepped away, and the sergeant with Teal's uniform followed him.
Axel nearly followed him too, but Sierra was faster.
Sierra rushed after Four, and Axel had to stop, rolling eyes as he rested on his car body.
"I'm still thinking of the perfect death to bestow upon you" Allegra said, posing in front of him.
"For not coming to see you at the clinic? C'mon, grow up" Axel replied, and she swung her arm to his face, nearly slapping him.
Axel caught the hand, pulled it down before swiftly before changing their positions.
He thudded her back on the car window, nearly crashing it with her skin.
"Axe!!" She grunted, calling the attention of some Privates.
"You're gonna slap me? Or was it an unintentional move? Huh? Were you under a spell?" Axel glared, and Allegra's throat bobbed as she stared at his mean eyes.
"Last time I checked, our relationship was built on s+x, no hard feelings" he continued.
"So...what now? You're tired of me?" She blinked.
"I was busy torturing Skye at the pavilion, I couldn't come see you at the clinic, and you already concluded I'm tired of you?" He let go of her roughly, and Allegra gasped.
"You could have told me that instead of ignoring my texts!" she said.
"I decide when to and when not to reply your texts, you're not the alpha here bro. And you'll be stingy with your shit? Crap, get to my unit and strip down in the bathroom. Hold the wall and wait for me" Axel replied.
"Don't take long" Allegra replied, leaving immediately.
"Slût" Axel muttered, sitting on the car hood and getting a roll of weed to light up.
He was smoking as he stared at the rest of the Privates who're getting handled by the other sergeants.
Kash is the one controlling the trainings right now, and the thought of his wife Cassie under him made Axel hard.
Come to think of it...she'd be alone in the Family Housing right now, so he jumped down from his car and left the training ground.
The continuous trainings held Rook down, and he wasn't able to go see Teal till daybreak.
Kash made sure to not let anyone out of the training ground.
The rest of them underwent escapism trainings in different ways. Sergeant Kash didn't make it as hard as Four.
He used subtle bomb blasts and fake mines as the traps, and the Privates scaled it professionally.
No casualties or damages.
By the time all of them finished taking the tests, the training ground is a mess of bomb smithereens, grenades and explosives.
Kash opened a big LED screen in front of another building adjacent the training ground.
Using a navigator, he showed them around the screen, clicking on the terrorist attack histories which made the Privates unable to close their mouths.
The sight is brutal, and it's even more than what April said.
Blood on the snow, different body parts lying about, children running around in fear inside their schools before getting bombed...
"What the f+ck" Shannon muttered.
"I can't breathe, we're gonna face these inhumanity in missions?" Brent said, grabbing a bottled water to drink and digest his fear.
"I don't think I can do this" Morgan held her chest.
The panicking of the Privates increased as each video played, but in the midst of all these, Theo has a brusque smile on his lips.
Faint, but it's still there.
Rook saw it, and he wondered why.
Why is Theo smiling when everyone is scared?
"Now I wish I got stepped down like Teal." Shannon said.
"No biggie, I was scared like y'all too when I was watching these videos prior to my first mission, but after I went for few missions and kept surviving, I knew I was born for this" April said.
"Please tell me you're gonna be part of our squad. You're experienced, we need you" Brent said.
"Nope, I was in Sergeant Axel's squad before it got cancelled, so I can't be in any other squad unless my squad gets reinstated" April replied.
"You're in Snowman's squad" Sergeant Kash said from the side, and April gasped.
"For real? I am?"
"Yeah, Axel would probably crash out when he heards, but who cares?" Kash replied.
"Yes!" April jumped.
"Thank gawd" Shannon and Brent chorused, and Rook just stayed silent.
If Teal is leaving, then there's no point in his own stay.
Kash stopped the videos, then he clicked out a picture.
It's the back view of a clean-shaven man, and his head is so damn glossy as the shave is too clean.
There's a peculiar tattoo at the back of his head, and he's wearing long earrings too despite being a man.
"He's Usman, the beast boss of the terrorists. No one has seen what he looks like face-to-face, all we've seen is this back view of him, and the several letters he sent to the base" Sergeant Kash finalized.
"Letters?" Abbey asked.
"Yeah, letters. He always sends notification letters to give us heads-up about his next target location before attacking them, that's how insane he is" April explained.
"That's cray cray" Rook muttered, swallowing saliva.
--
The sergeant with Teal's uniform followed Four till they arrived at his unit, waiting orders.
"Drop the uniform at the General's office" Four told him before going in, and the sergeant left immediately.
He was on his way to Pedro's office when Sierra blocked him.
"Hand it over" she told him.
"Master Sergeant told me to return it" the sergeant replied, and Sierra did an undetectable back twist, hitting him with her heeled boot on the chin.
He groaned hard as his lip corner bled out, and Sierra swept her hair back, adjusting her uniform.
"If I have been accepting promotions since the General have been giving me, then you should know I'd be a Senior Sergeant right now. Don't get it twisted, the strongest lady in this base is me, not Allegra. But hiding is sweet, so you'll never see me flaunting my abilities easily" she said, then she pointed an hand forward.
"Hand the uniform over" she repeated, and the sergeant gave her the uniform, then she sent him away.
With a deep smirk, she took the uniform to the second field where bonfire happened last night.
The fire is big, so it's still there.
She threw Teal's uniform inside, then she gathered firewood on top of it, fanning it till started burning.
She left the field.

[Master Sergeant's Unit]
Four is in the painting room, sitting on the chair and resting silently.
Drinking gin soothes his nerves, but being in a room full of paintings have a bigger way of soothing his nerves.
It's like the paintings communicate with him, preaching tranquility.
His eyes are roaming around the room, and as he rested his knuckles on his temple, his shirt raised slightly from the side his stomach, revealing a large ugly scar which sat there like a snake.
The scar he'd go any length to keep.
The scar that mustn't get revealed to any other eye.
Protecting the scar is a slight part of why he was in his room for 19 years, and how he got the scar?
It's not even a writable story.
He sat upright and checked his phone, reading a message he received some days ago.
• Dear friend, I heard your father got you a wife, and you're suddenly the leader of the new squad? Seriously, your father is as stubborn as you. I can't believe he created another squad after I destroyed the first one, but then...who am I to object? It's part of the fun anyways. Watch me destroy your squad too, starting from your darling wife.
Four turned off the phone after rereading it a number of times, then a knock fell on the door.
He went for the door and opened it, only to meet Sierra standing there with a large smile.
"I saw the door label, so I had to knock" she said, pointing at the label which says DO NOT ENTER.
"What are you doing here?" He asked, striding away from her.
"I wanna be a part of your squad... replace Teal with me now that she's gone" Sierra replied, and he stopped.
He gave her a flat look, and she came closer.
"You're the only one who's aware of my abilities in this base cos I chatted with you the most when you went on lockdown for years. You know me better than anyone, and you know I'm better than Teal Ambrose or whatever" she cockily said.
"She's out of the base doesn't mean I'm choosing someone else, get lost" he aptly replied.
"But I'm your stepsister! Should I even have to ask before you know the right thing to do? Do you hate me because I'm not from the same mother like you and Axel? You hate me cos General Pedro is the only string weaving us together?" She said.
"Sierra!" He snapped.
"Take me into your squad...I heard you're taking April, so why not me? I wanna stay right beside you and bring the terrorists down with you" she desperately replied.
"Shut the door behind you after you leave" he stated, going back into the room and slamming the double doors shut.
Sierra bracketed her arms, her eyes housing enough venom to annihilate a nation.

[Family Housing, Kash's Suite]
Cassie did laundry early this morning, and she used the clothesline at the back of the suite to spread the pullovers and thick sweaters.
She just finished spreading, and she returned into the suite only to see Axel sitting on the first couch, smoking a blunt.
"Welcome back, Cass" he said, looking up with folds on his forehead.
"What are you doing here? Kash isn't in" she replied, making sure to keep as much distance as she can.
"But I'm here for you" Axel smiled.
"If you're here to talk trash again, then just leave, or I'll call Kash, and you'd suffer. You know the rules of this base, you do not disturb the marital relationship of couples or you'd get demoted no matter your rank" she replied, and laughed, standing to his feet.
"How much is the government paying Kash?" He said.
"And how is that your tea?" Cassie scoffed.
"I and Kash belong in same rank, but tell you what? I get payed higher than him cos I'm Pedro's son anyways. He probably gets payed same salary as the junior sergeants, and that's why you can't even afford a good necklace. You've been wearing that necklace around for how many weeks now?" Axel said.
Cassie touched the necklace on her neck, unable to continue talking.
"And your wedding ring is even starting to fade. Kash married you with that cheap ring? Does he even love you?" Axel said again, and Cassie lowered her hand, folding it.
"I'm content, I'm happy with whatever he gives me. I love him and he loves me, so quit this game" she said.
Axel scoffed.
"I'll wait here till you take that back, and I'm always ready to take you into my arms, in my bed" he said, then he stepped away.
Cassie sat on the armrest of the couch, releasing a breath she had no idea she was holding.
"Fool" she muttered.
--
Axel went straight to his Unit, and as expected, Allegra is ready for him in the bathroom.
N+ked.
Hands on the wall.
Butt out for him.
General Pedro is out of the base, Teal got thrown out too, and he's close to getting his hands on Cassie.
These three facts enough to make him high on happiness, and he didn't spare himself a minute before starting to unbolt his belt.
"What took you so long?" Allegra asked, not daring to take her hands off the wall.
"You ask too many questions, Allegra." He grunted, letting go of his belt and getting behind her.
"Kneel" he ordered, and she fell on her knees—her back is still on him though.
"Let's keep your mouth busy" he said.
Then he took off his boot and slipped his right leg between her thighs. He raised his toes up to her core, shoving his biggest toe into her pu$$y.
"Mmh.." she withered, throwing her head back and resting it on his lap.
"Cry like a witch...moan like a bî+ch, that you are" he smiled, shoving another toe inside her, making two.
He added the third toe almost immediately, then he belted her neck with his hand, choking life out of her as he began toe-fuckin her.
"Ax..ee..mm...Axe! Gawd!!! Please please!!!"

[DeVille White Castle]
At exactly 9am, Pedro arrived at the castle park, and as he came down from the car with his escorting sergeants, he removed his black shades with joy.
Pedro is a rock in the base, but with his wife, he's a simp, and he can't wait to see her.
The boats were set on the blue waters, and he got on the first one with two sergeants.
His boat set off, then the rest of the sergeants came in three more boats, all rowing majestically on the aqua blue till they arrived at the castle.
Yulia was already waiting in front of the castle with an unrivaled smile which lit up her rare features.
Pedro literally jumped down from the boat, and the woman ran into his arms.
"Dearest" Pedro kissed her hair.
"Pedro" she replied with a chuckle, her legs leaving the ground as he lifted her to swirl.
"Ed!!" She squealed, and he dropped her with a chuckle.
"I thought you wouldn't be coming anymore" she said.
"Had to leave the base at 4am by jet, and that's why I'm already here. He replied, and they hugged again.
Yulia's smile blossomed so hard.
They're the same though, cos she's only a simp for her husband and maybe her children too.
She's in the military too, and anytime she takes over the General's office at the base, it's always dark.
He's a woman with an iron fist only used when angered.
They both went in, and as they ate the table of breakfast Yulia made, she couldn't help but swirl the questions in her mind.
There's a lot she wants to ask.
"Ask, I know you're dying to hear the news" Pedro said, and she instantly dropped her fork.
"My daughter-in-law! How's she faring? Four really didn't take her? Why? Is she already beating people up? What's her personality like?" She asked at once.
"You were pregnant with the questions" Pedro smiled.
"Can't help it" Yulia sounded, and Pedro had to drop his fork too.
"She's fine, and as for why he doesn't like her, I have no idea. He lived all his life in his room so I can't even understand my own son. But I'm hoping he warms up to her soon. The craziest thing? She doesn't want him too. She's not moved by his visuals, and she even refused to hear his normal name" he explained.
"Why would she not want him?" Yulia blinked surprisingly.
"Why would Four not want her?" Pedro replied in defense, and Yulia sighed.
"What about the last past of my question?"
"Of course she's already beating people. I mean...she beat up Allegra in the bathroom, and she ended up at the clinic" Pedro replied.
"What!" Yulia laughed wickedly. "For real? Isn't Allegra the strongest lady in the base?"
"That's what everyone thinks, but Sierra is stronger than Allegra" Pedro replied, and Yulia's countenance switched immediately.
"Of course you didn't forget to mention your daughter from another woman" she sneered.
"Our discussion was connected to her, reason why I mentioned her, stop being oversensitive" Pedro replied, and she stood.
"I lost my appetite, and by the way I'm going with you whenever you're returning to the base" she said and went up the towers.
Pedro sighed, removing his cap.
--
[Military Base, Female Barracks]
Teal is ready to leave, and she looks too comfortable and cool with this decision that it's almost unbelievable.
As she dragged her bag out of the room, the ladies lined after her, throwing jubilations at her departure.
The barracks is so f+çking noisy as a result of it.
Morgan and Stormy are the happiest, and Sierra has that unreadable smile on her face, again.
Shannon and April are almost crying.
"Bye! Don't worry, I'll take your place beside Rook! I might get lucky and change him from gay to straight, then have him all to myself" Stormy said.
"Preach, baby!" Morgan laughed, and some other ladies joined the laughter.
"I'm glad she's finally leaving, a breath of fresh air!"
"Gawd! Can today get any better?"
"Never come back, hillbilly!"
"I hate you!!!"
The ladies went from mutterings to screams, and it became total chaos.
"Pity, you didn't last after all" Sierra said.
Teal just gave her a short look before proceeding out.
"Teal!" April and Shannon chorused, and she looked back, giving the two of them a real but short smile before leaving the barracks completely.
On getting outside, it's even worse cos guys from the male barracks are all outside, booing and screaming.
Abbey is their ringleader.
"It's a pity I didn't get to suck you! Bye!!" He screamed, and his friends cackled behind him.
Theo is sitting on the steps, staring at her with no tell as usual.
Allegra and Axel are standing beside the base emergency car, laughing at her from there.
Even Sergeant Kash and Cassie are by the field, watching the send-off.
It's like everyone came out to watch her departure, and the chaos kept growing in stature.
And then she saw him—the ruthless number Four.
He's standing on the field platform alone, staring down at everything from there like an hawk with his curved chin lifted, and she wants to bite that stupid chin off.
She didn't even hold eyes with him for a sec before turning away.
Rook and Brent joined her, and Brent began crying for real, making her smile.
"I said it, you don't have a D. Don't tell me you're crying cos of me" she said.
Brent hugged her.
"I'm missing you already, what would I do without you" he sniffled.
"Don't cry too much" she smiled again, breaking the hug before facing Rook.
"Take care" she said, raising her hand to stroke his hair like a mother.
"Call me before you get on the plane" he said, and she nodded, then she's walking out of the base.
"Goodbye, bad luck!!!" Stormy screamed.
"Goodbye bîtch!!!" Allegra yelled, and Sierra kept her smile up.
"Goodbye crush!!!" Abbey yelled too.
"Goodbye mad dog!!" Morgan did her share of the yell.
Teal didn't look back.
She used her bucket hat as she walked towards the main iron gate, and she got her debit card out of her pocket.
She kissed it before stepping out of the gate properly.
--
The day went by like a starving snail, especially for the Privates who spent all day training about weapons.
By the time they got done with trainings at 5pm, Morgan was already impatient.
She literally ran back to the barracks and had her bath, shaving her bodily hair and facial hair. She even shaved her pu§§y before leaving the bathroom.
She dressed up hastily, wearing the blue fuck-me skirt and top she got from the cantonment store.
It barely covered her @rse, and her heels are long.
She was wearing the makeup she bought when Stormy came in.
"Is Quentin here already?" She asked, settling in bed.
"He said he'd be here by 5 with his dad, and it's already 5, so I just know he's already waiting by the park" Morgan replied, closing the makeup kit and standing.
"You're gonna go out wearing that skirt and heels and makeup? What if the Senior Sergeants get you? You wanna get punished" Stormy scoffed.
"I have Allegra to bail me out if that happens, see ya later!" Morgan waved, tucking a condom pack into her bra before rushing out of the room.
The ladies she walked past were turning as they saw her, wondering what's wrong with her head.
Wearing all of that in a military base?
Bold.
Morgan didn't spare them a grain of attention, she's more than eager to see her boyfriend, so she ran all the way to the base park.
She began searching for any sign of a new unusual car, but she saw none.
She ran round the park, searching frantically like he's a pin, but he's nowhere, and she freaked out.
She was bout to dial him on call when she was held from behind, and shetwisted around, coming face-to-face with him.
Quentin, her boyfriend.
"My gawd!" She gushed, but that was all she could spit before he kissed her, and she didn't struggle to draw in a breath.
She responded, throwing her arms around him and fingering his back.
"Your...dad?" She managed to ask through their tongue twists.
"I came alone, dad was busy" he replied, and she broke the kiss immediately.
"What!"
"Nothing is gon happen, I sneaked in with the base ambulance when the sergeants brought someone to the cantonment clinic, so no one knows that I'm here" he replied.
"But...
He placed a finger on her lips, and she swallowed her words.
"Where do we go from here? Just the two of us" he said, and she grabbed his hand, dragging him to the far dark end of the park where the former abandoned ambulance is.
The car is already rickety and old, so it's not in use anymore.
They entered together, and Morgan swiftly yanked her skirt, going down nakedly on one of the leather seats.
Quentin bit his lip unknowingly, staring down at her ready core.
"F+ck" he muttered.
"Yeah" she hungrily replied, spreading her legs.
Unknown to them, Abbey is by the hood of the car, standing on the outside leather seats and peeping.
--
At exactly 5:30, the base bell rang like an emergency, and armies began running out of their buildings, rushing to the field where announcements happen.
It's indeed an emergency cos the sergeant in charge of the mailbox just came in with a letter.
A letter from the terrorists.
They're finally on the move again, and they sent their next location as usual.
The field became crowdy within seconds, and some were even in the bathroom when the bell rang, so they came out with soap lathers on their heads and bodies.
It's chaotic.
The Sergeants stood at the platforms, and immediately Four arrived with Axel, the letter from the mailbox was handed to him.
He opened the envelope, but the moment he brought out the letter, a car drove into the field, nearly ramming into Stormy.
Stormy had to quickly move, and she was gasping as the car stopped.
"Who is that fooli—"
Her words got cut when the insider came out, and she gasped again, taking another step back.
"Teal?" She shockingly said.
Teal slammed the car door shut, her small earrings so unique.
She looks ethereal in her maroon dress—colour brown.
No make-up, but she's dazzling, and her steps are intentional as she began walking to the podium staircase.
Rook is smiling like he planned this with her, and Brent's mouth is wide.
Allegra looks shell-shocked, and Sierra's usual gothic smile has been replaced with a snarl.
Axel is not even blinking.
Four's lips are tight with his blade jaws as he watched her climb up like she owns everyone in this place.
His nose is scrunching, and his eyes are flicking with his lashes till she arrived at his side and smiled so wide that her lips almost tore.
"Shouldn't you hold your wife affectionately at this point?" She said, and gasps fell of everyone's lips.
Four remained there, unmoving, unblinking, unshaken.
She stepped closer, holding his arms.
"What the f+ck are you up to?" He spat demandingly.
She smiled again, unaffected by his harshness.
Four's eyes cinched so hard, and she angled her head, rubbing his arms.
"Are you mad at me that I took long before coming back? Forgive me, hubby" she winked, then she lifted herself a bit...
She pressed a tender peck to his cheek.
TBC.
Woah she is bold ðŸ¤
