Three years ago, my best friend's father was gruesomely murdered.
Evelyn—my best friend, was very sure of who the murderer was, and as the richest girl in the country, the cops were ready to arrest anyone she pointed at.
As Evelyn's best friend, I thoughtlessly supported her too, so when she pointed fingers at Warren as the murderer, i believed it and even testified against Warren in court.
Warren Creed was a brilliant medical student, and as an hated son in his family, no one stepped up for him.
Nailing him was easy, his alibi and evidence of innocence were rendered useless.
Warren was sent to jail, but three years later, I found out that Evelyn lied.
Evelyn actually asked Warren out, but he had turned her down bluntly, prompting her to angrily frame him for her father's murder.
Warren already spent three years in jail before the truth surfaced, but he was released immediately.
But then... he's not the same innocent Warren who got arrested anymore.
Jail changed him to a self-acclaimed god of his own purgatory, a hedonist who draws pleasure from playing wicked mind games.
Unluckily for me, Evelyn died in an accident same day he was released, leaving him with me as his only prey.
Just me—the girl who testified falsely against him.
Nothing would stop him from ruining my life, crushing my existence, and trampling on my soul under his feet.
He's out for blood...for revenge, but the lurking devil inside him suddenly wanted something more than that.
Something crueller, primal, and darker.
Something that'd make me cry blood, crawl, and beg shamelessly at his mercy.
What is it?
Find out in this bumpy ride.
Don't dare miss out!
