Harper burst into uncontrollable laughter for a few seconds, then paused. “Martin, isn't the moon goddess so wonderful? I've always wanted to get that freak out of my way, and this is the best way to get her out.”

“I'm gobsmacked. I mean, who would have thought that the slave is actually a princess? As a matter of fact, She happens to be a hybrid. What baffles me is why she isn't as powerful as a hybrid should be?” Martin wondered.

Rolling her eyes, Harper continued. “That is absolutely none of my business. I don't care if she's a hybrid or a vampire. All I want is to get out of this pack. By the time the elders find out that she's our worst enemy, she will definitely be kicked out or beheaded.”

“Harper, you need to think this over. How do you intend to tell everyone what you've found out about her?” Martin asked anxiously.

“Good. Now you're talking.” Harper smirked a little, and continued. “Martin, I want you to find a perfect soldier for me. A useful one.”

With his eyes narrowed, Martin asked. “What do you plan to do?”

“Just find me a soldier. I'll meet him in the basement in 20 mins.” Harper snapped, before walking away.

Harper walked down to the basement with a locked box in her hand. She looked around to make sure no one was following her before she proceeded.

Then, she sighted Martin and a young man standing at the entrance of the basement. With a faint smile, she approached them.

“He's one of my best.” Martin snapped.

The young man spoke up immediately. “I'll do anything you ask of me.”

“Good. I love loyalty. I want that slave's head before dawn, you'll be heavily rewarded.” Harper said before handing the box to him.

He took the box from her, and unlocked it. His jaw dropped in shock the moment he saw the gold and diamonds in the box. Without hesitation, he went on his knees, and replied. “Yes, Luna Harper.”

Harper smiled with ecstasy. Of course, the feeling of excitement the moment “Luna” was attached to her name made her feel butterflies in her tummy.

Meanwhile, I saw myself walking down the dark woods. I suddenly looked up, and saw that the moon was actually red.

“Where is this?” I was actually asking myself because I didn't see anyone in the woods. All of a sudden, I saw a man with a white beards. He wasn't ancient, but he had a white beard and a crown on his head.

Fear gripped me, and I stepped backwards. “Who are you? Why… Why am I here? This isn't the pack house, right? W… Who are you?”

The man burst into laughter, and I got even more frightened when I saw his teeth. He's a vampire.

“You… you're a vampire, huh? Don't… Please don't kill me.” I pleaded.

He scoffed. “Why would I kill my flesh and blood? I have waited for so long just for you to come back. And you actually believe I would kill you, huh?”

“I don't know what you're talking about. All I know is that werewolves and vampires are not on good terms, and I'm a werewolf.” I cried out.

He laughed, and replied. “You're neither a vampire nor a werewolf, my dear. For now, welcome back to your home, Allison.”

“No! No!! This isn't my home. I want to go back to the Cold Moon Pack. That's my home, not here.” I cried, and turned to run back, but I felt like my legs were heavy. I couldn't lift my legs. Furthermore, I kept screaming.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door and I opened my eyes immediately. “A dream? What kind of dream is this? Who is that man, and what does he mean by 'I'm neither a werewolf nor a vampire'?”

Beads of sweat ran down my face, and I yanked the duvet off my body. I had actually fallen asleep while reading a book. “Probably, that's why I had such a weird dream.”

The knock came again, and I got up from the bed. I glanced at the wall clock while approaching the door. It was already late, so I assumed it was Alpha Atlas.

Squeezing the doorknob, I bolted the door open and someone rushed in immediately.

He had a mask on. He grabbed me immediately, and I kicked him hard. I was trying to reach the telephone when he grabbed my neck, and placed a handkerchief over my nose, and I passed out.

After a few minutes, Atlas walked to my room. He knocked twice at the door, and said. “Allison, I spoke to my Aunty. She's not going to pester you for the meantime, okay?”

After a few seconds, he heard nothing. He tried to knock on the door again, and that was when he realized that the door was open.

Looking around the room, and seeing how scattered it looked. He could tell that something was definitely wrong.

“This can't be happening.” Alpha Atlas snapped before rushing out of the room.

The sun rays directly from the holes in the wall, straight to my eyes. I gradually opened my eyes. That was when I realized my hands were chained up to the roof, and my legs tied.

“Atlas? Atlas?” I cried out, and my eyes caught with the skulls lying around me. I became more agitated, and yelled out in panic. “Someone? Someone, help! Help me.”

Then, the masked man walked in, and placed a knife on my throat. “Even if you shout from now until next month, no one is ever going to hear you. You'll be dead long before anyone finds you. So, it's only wise that you don't pull a stunt, if not, I'll have no choice than to slit your throat with this knife.” He threatened.
