"My size... Size?" Everest stuttered and she smiled cooly.
"Yes, I want to see it.. Again" she replied, leaning closer to his face.
Everest swallowed hard and gently held her shoulders as her body was pressing into his.
Their eyes locked on each other and for a minute they didn't say anything to each other, just staring.
He started smiling and she started smiling too.
He pushed her body gently away from his body and stood straight still holding her shoulders.
"It's not free" he whispered.
"How much?" she asked.
"One million dollars" he replied.
"I will pay" she said and he chuckled.
"Is my size that really pretty that you badly want to see it?" he asked with a baddie smile and she made puppy faces.
"Yeah" she pouted cutely.
"You are acting so cute tonight, naughty CEO" he said and she chuckled.
"I'm naughty?" she asked in a whisper.
"Sure" he nodded and she pecked his cheeks.
"It's getting late, we should be going home now" he said and his hands left her shoulders.
"We can stay here all night" she said.
"My honey will be worried" he said and she frowned.
"It's my elder sister, stop thinking otherwise"
"I didn't think anything" she said and looked away.
"Really?" he teased.
"You are friendly with me these days, you don't hate me anymore?" she asked.
"I didn't hate you from the first Paige, I only hated your arrogance, maybe getting closer to you made me realize situation made you to become this way" he replied.
"You won't change right?"
"I should be asking you that" he said and she smiled.
"So are we staying in the office?" she asked, looking at him with folded lips.
"No" he said and opened the door, going out.
"Everest" she called and ran after him.
Surprisingly they met Vivian in the company.
"Vivian" he called and she took her eyes to them.
"What are you still doing here?" Paige asked.
"I was trying to finish up the work in my office" she replied.
"Ok, goodnight, let's go" Paige said, facing Everest.
"Sure, bye Vivi" he waved and started leaving with Paige.
Vivian stood there staring at them with a big frown on her face, she folded her hands, biting her lips aggressively.
They came out of the company and she faced him.
"I will take you home" she said.
"You don't have to do that, please don't insist" he said and she relented, releasing a low sigh.
"Fine, call me when you get home" she said.
"I will do that bye" he smiled and started leaving.
Paige bit her lips and kept staring at him till he left, even when he left she was still staring there and smiling till a guard tapped her from behind.
"Ma'am,are you not going home?"
"Oh!" she muttered and entered the already open door.
MYLES'S ROOM*
Myles came out of the bathroom with a towel which he's using in drying his hair, he has just taken his bath.
He walked to the bed and sat down, still using the towel on his head.
He sighed again when Jennifer's face came into his head.
He started feeling guilty and worried about her...
Why did he even said that to her? Why didn't he control his emotions?
He was harsh on her with his words, he didn't handle the situation in the right way. He stretched his hand towards his phone and took it, he unlocked his phone and went to his contact list, he clicked on her number and almost dialed it but he changed his mind and decided to text.
*I'M SORRY JENNY FOR THE HARSH WORDS, I WASN'T THINKING*
He let out a difficult sigh after typing the message.
"I haven't done this before but here I'm doing it, gosh!!" he groaned and click on the send button, he flipped his phone on the bed and fell on it.
"I will try to get a better way to talk to her if she ignores me tomorrow, I don't know why I'm feeling this way, I will talk to Everest tomorrow during lunch" h muttered lowly.
JENNIFER'S ROOM*
Jennifer was keeping herself busy by watching the TV even though her full focus wasn't there, she was trying to pay attention to the TV but it was hard and difficult to concentrate completely.
Her mind was with Myles, she can't deny it that he hurt her with his words and she was angry with him but she knew deeply within her that she was dying to hear his voice, it was weird but she couldn't seem to handle the feeling.
She knows what this is all about.
"I can't believe I'm in this cage again, why is our hearts so wicked?" she groaned and her phone vibrated beside her.
She dropped the remote and took the phone.
A text message.
"A text message, what's it?" she asked grudgingly before opening the message.
Her eyes widened and she started feeling the loud beats of her heart as she saw the message was sent from Anaconda, she still saved his number like that.
She read the message and read it for the second time, she started reading it over and over till she reached the tenth time, she started smiling widely.
"He apologize, he really apologize" she said, hugging the phone to her chest, she looked at the message and started reading it again.
"I can't believe he will say sorry, aww" she gushed happily.
"But I'm still angry with you" she pouted, smiling at the message.
EVEREST'S ROOM*
Everest got home and had his dinner before going into the bathroom to have his night shower. His phone started reading on the bed, fortunately he was done bathing.
He came out of the bathroom and went to the bed, he took the phone and smiled when he saw Paige on the screen.
"She is making me smile too much these days" he said before clicking on the green button.
"Everest" she called in a low voice, and he squinted his eyes.
"Are you okay?" he asked gently.
"I'm fine, you didn't call me, you promised" she replied.
"I was taking my bath" he breathed.
"Okay" she said.
"Then goodnight" she said with a low hesitant voice.
"Okay, goodnight but are you sure you that really came from your heart" he asked as he noticed the hesitant voice.
"You are good in reading people's mind right?" she said.
"Maybe, I know you are not satisfy with the conversation but you just said it" he said and she chuckled.
"You... are right so can we continue with the talk?" she asked.
"Sure, I don't bite so feel free" he said, sitting down on the bed.
"Okay, slow poison" she said.
"What!"
"Slow poison" she called again.
"I'm going to hang up if you call me that" he said.
"Okay fine, so what we talking about?" she asked, flipping a cute smile.
"You start" he replied.
NEXT MORNING*
Myles came out of his room with dark circles under his eyes, he didn't sleep properly last night, his harsh words to Jennifer kept tormenting him till daybreak. He had a pale look on his face as he came into the living room.
"My boy" grandma Patricia smiled but the smile vanished when she saw his eyes.
"What happened to you? You didn't sleep last night?" she asked, holding his hand with a worried look.
"I'm fine, I read till morning" he lied, and she gave him a doubtful look.
"You just lied, you hate reading even when you were in highschool..." she stopped when she saw his countenance.
"I'm sorry" she said and pulled him to the chair, she hugged his head to her stomach and started stroking his hair.
"It's fine" she said, and he hugged her back.
LUXURY RESTAURANT*
Newton and Michelin arrived at the restaurant at the same time, she smiled and ran to him, hugging his arm.
"You are always acting like a baby" he said and she smiled widely, revealing her cute set of dentition.
"I'm cute that's why" she said, and he chuckled.
Inside the restaurant, Sloane was already serving a customer when she sighted them outside.
Actually Newton and Michelin came late.
She kept looking at them and her concentration started slipping till she mistakenly poured wine on the lady.
"What!!" the lady shouted angrily.
"I'm sorry Miss" Sloane begged.
"Do you know how much this cost, b*tch?" the lady barked.
Sloane's temper started raising when the word b*tch came out of the lady's mouth, she hates the word with passion and she always get wild when she is called that. She was controlling it but the lady worsen it.
"You won't talk b*tch?" she snapped.
Sloane lost her temper, she was about to pounced on the lady when Newton came there and took her away immediately, he took her to a room and faced her.
"Breath in and out, please" he said, and she looked at him.
She breathed in and out and surprisingly she started calming down.
He pulled her into a hug and started patting her back till she completely calm down, she broke the hug gently, and smiled.
"Thanks" she said and left the room, almost immediately Michelin came in.
"What happened?" she asked.
"She always get wild when called a b*tch" he replied.
"Oh!" she remarked.
ELITES GROUP OF COMPANY, HR DEPARTMENT*
Everest entered the department and went into a particular office, he came with a file to be signed by the head of the HR.
He came out of the office and surprisingly he met Vivian at her door.
He was about to call her name when she pulled him to an empty corridor, she hugged him tightly.
He stood still, allowing her to hug him till she broke it.
"Are you alright?" he asked, looking at her.
"Do you expect me to be alright when you are ignoring me for the boss" she replied and he squinted.
"I'm her secretary"
"She is becoming over possessive of you, I thought you both hate each other"
"Not anymore, you want us to still hate each?" he asked.
"It would be better at least I will be spending time with you, I missed you" she replied.
"Huh!" he raised his brows.
"Do you like her or something?" she asked.
"You don't expect me to hate her, she is actually a nice person if you get to know her better" he replied and she frowned.
"Can you spend five minutes with me?"
"I can't..."
"You won't say this if it was her right? Because I'm not her" she frowned, and tried to hug him but he held her shoulders.
"Stop this and what you are thinking, don't compare yourself to her, see you later" he said and left after letting go of her shoulders.
Vivian hissed out loudly.
Everest got to the office and met Paige waiting, they are attending a meeting.
"You took long" she said.
"Yeah, sorry about that" he said she smiled.
"I will be having lunch.. "
"With who?" she interrupted sharply, making him looked at her with raised brows.
"With Myles" he replied.
"Oh! The mini devil?" she bit her lips.
"Who were you thinking it will be?" he asked.
"The meeting" she said and rushed out of the office.
Everest shook his head and walked out, chuckling lightly.
LUNCH*
"You said all that to her?" Everest asked and Myles nodded.
"To tell you the truth twinnie, you were harsh on her, I get it that she kissed you but that was harsh, you weren't really pissed off about it" Everest said, and Myles sighed.
"I know, I sent her a text but she didn't reply, she has been ignoring me since morning" he rasped, grabbing his cup to drink from it.
"You are feeling guilty so apologize to her in person"
"It will be..."
"Hard" Everest completed it and he smiled.
"You know me twin, I don't usually say the word"
"Your ego is higher than the mountains" Everest said and he laughed.
"You like her?" Everest asked.
"I don't know, I expected myself to be angry at the kiss but I wasn't, I wouldn't have tolerated it if it was another lady" Myles replied.
"You like her"
"What about Paige, you like her right?" Myles asked.
"Let's figure this out ourselves" Everest smiled.
"She saw your p£nis" Myles said.
"She requested to see it yesterday" Everest said.
"What!!"
"I got an idea" Myles said.
"What is it?" Everest asked and Myles leaned into his ear, he whispered something into his ear, and Everest smiled.
"I know who to set you up with" he smirked.
THE ROYALS, 8PM*
Myles was in the car, unlike the days he usually wait beside the car.
He was waiting for Jennifer since she has been ignoring him all day.
A smirk fell on his lips when he saw her coming out of the company, she walked to the car and a guard opened it for her..
She got in the backseat and said a few words to him.
"Take me home" she said and he nodded.
He started the car and drove out followed by the guards car.
Immediately he came out of the gate, he took another road and Jennifer looked up.
"What are you doing? Are you okay, this is not the road to my house" she snapped but he snub her.
"Myles" she yelled, but he step on the speed.
"What are you doing?" she barked but he started speeding on the road.
Jennifer looked back and saw the guards chasing him, but with the look of things she knew they weren't a match for him.
It got crazier when he started driving left and right.
"Myles, you are going to regret this, stop this madness" she shouted but he kept speeding on the wide road.
She looked back and her eyes widened when she didn't see the car, they lost him.
Her heart started beating so fast, she took out her phone and try making a call but he entered a roundabout and the phone fell from her.
"Anaconda!!" she shouted.
He drove into a house and stopped the car.
He came out and went to open the door.
"You are serious going..." she was still talking when he carried her out of the car and closed the door back after getting her phone.
"Myles..." she shouted and started struggling with him but he was stronger.
She resulted into hitting him but he didn't bulge till he got into the house and dropped her.
"Do you know what you just caused? You abducted me, the police will soon be looking for you" she screamed.
"Save your energy for later" he said and walked out on her.
"What is he trying to do?" she asked and her eyes went to the door.
She ran to the door and tried opening it but she discovered it was locked.
"You are going nowhere" she heard his voice behind her, and she turned to see him holding two cups of coffee.
"Have this, you will need it" he offered.
"And what makes you think I will drink that what if you poison it? Why are you doing this?"
"Do you really think I will kidnap you? I have my reason for doing this, you won't have follow me if I ask you" he said, coming closer to her.
"Have it, trust me" he said gently, and she relevutcanly took.
He drank his first before she drank her own.
"How is it?" he asked.
"Nice" she replied.
"What is the meaning of this?"
"My way of apologizing" he replied and dropped the cup on the table.
"I know you saw my text, why didn't you reply, you ignored me all day, do you know how guilt dealt with me?"
"The sorry wasn't enough" she replied.
"Jenny..."
"Add cheap or slut" she said and he glued his lips.
"I'm sorry" he swallowed.
"I shouldn't have said that" he said and she looked away
"Jenny" he called. No answer.
"I think this will be enough" he said and carried her, walking to the table, he placed her on the table and stood between her legs, she tried looking away but he held her chin with a hand.
"You are not a slut, you are not cheap, I'm sorry, you are the first woman I will be saying sorry to" he said and she looked up.
"You are poor but you got a massive ego"
"I'm a different version" he smiled and she scoffed.
"I'm sorry..."
"Show me that I'm not cheap" she said in a low voice, and he smiled.
He reeled in, and she started feeling her loud heartbeats, she tried controlling it but it was out of her league, it kept hammering on her chest as she took her eyes to his lips.
"Should I really show you?" he asked with a n intoxicating smirk.
"Show me" she replied in a tiny voice.
His eyes fell on her lips and he pressed his lips on her at once, his oval shaped lips fitted on hers perfectly, and her eyes went shut, she started kissing slowly.
