           ✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿

Olivia's POV

I relaxed in the bathtub, surrounded by warm water and fragrant bubbles. It was a much-needed moment of self-care after spending the previous night immersed in learning about Riccardo. Feeling thoroughly exhausted, I decided to treat myself to a nice bath.

The bubbles completely submerged my body, leaving only my head resting against the edge. It was pure bliss.

As I felt my tense muscles finally relaxing, I stepped out of the tub to rinse off. Wrapped in my plush sky blue bathrobe, I left the bathroom and made my way to the living room, craving a bowl of ice cream.

Suddenly, my feet froze on the floor as I noticed a man sitting comfortably on my sofa. Fear slowly crept into my mind, fearing that another psychópath had broken into my house, intending to hàrm me.

The man seemed to sense my presence and stood up. Relief flooded over me as I recognized him as Riccardo. "What are you doing here?" I asked, walking towards his tall figure. "More importantly, how do you know my passcode?"

He simply shrugged.

Rolling my eyes, I demanded, "What do you want?"

A smirk played on his lips. "You."

"What?" I was taken aback by his bold statement.

"You heard me. Where are you going?"

"To the kitchen."

"Why?"

"Ice cream."

"It's only seven in the morning."

I nodded in agreement.

"Why would you have ice cream first thing in the morning, Olivia?" His voice was laced with concern and sternness, as if scolding me.

I replied with a fake sweet smile, "I always have a craving for sweets when I'm on my period."

His face relaxed. "When did it start?"

"Today."

Wait, why am I even disclosing this information to him?

What is wrong with me?

I stared at him, our gazes locking. It felt as if I was being sucked into a black hole, unable to look away.

"Does it hurt a lot?" he asked, seemingly oblivious to my discomfort.

Yes, it's excruciating!

Is that even a question?

"Only when I have to answer stúpid questions," I retorted with forced sweetness. His eyes briefly darted to my lips before returning to meet my gaze. "Can I go get my ice cream now?"

"No. Go get dressed, and I'll bring it over for you," Riccardo said, leaving no room for argument or any objections.

Huffing in annoyance, I walked back to my bedroom. I had already changed into a comfortable sky blue hoodie and shorts when he entered the room with the bowl of ice cream and a heating pad.

"Here's your ice cream," he said, handing me the bowl. "And here's the heating pad I found in the cabinet," he added, extending it towards me. As I reached out to grab it, he pulled back. "Be careful. It's hot."

No matter how hard I tried to deny it, I had to admit that he genuinely cared about me.

"Thanks," I muttered.

I sat on the bed, writhing in pain from the cramps that attacked my stomach. Riccardo was seated beside me, his face etched with concern and worry.

It felt as though a thousand kníves were simultaneously cuttíng through my abdomen.

"What can I do to help?" he asked.

I looked up at him, wincing like a child. "Go to heaven and ask God why he decided to make girls suffér every single month. Can you do that?"

A grin spread across his sinfully handsome face. "If I could, I would. That's how much I love you."

I blinked once. Twice. Thrice.

With a sigh, I sat up and faced him. "When did you first notice me?"

"Three years ago," he replied after a momentary hesitation.

"Where?"

His signature sinister smirk appeared on his lips. "Somewhere."

I rolled my eyes. "Where exactly, Riccardo?"

"I like how you say my name," he said, his black orbs sparkling with what seemed like admiration.

"How do I say your name?" I tilted my head, curious.

"Not like others do," he shook his head. "When others call me, it sounds dull, but when you say it... It sounds angelic, like music."

"What kind of music?" I prompted.

"A very calming music."

"People have different preferences for calming music. What is yours?"

"Rain," he murmured, brushing his fingers through his long, soft, curly hair that I longed to touch. "The sound of rain falling is oddly calming to me."

I exhaled. "I háte the rain, especially at night."

"Why?" he asked.

I swept my hair back, letting out a heavy sigh. "It's nothing. Forget it."

Riccardo stared at me, as if he knew I was hiding something. But thankfully, he let it go and nodded. "Do you want me to put your hair in a ponytail?"

"No. Can you?"

"Yes."

"How and why did you learn to do that? You only have one sister, and she's older than you."

"I learned it for you and our future kids."

I choked on my breath.

Kids?

Our kids?

What the héll?

"You're insañe to think that I'll have your kids."

"You will," he replied, a smile teasing his dimples.

"Never!"

"Never say never, sunshine."

"Listen, Riccardo," I thanked my mother for raising me to speak confidently, without stuttering even when I'm nervous or scared. "I will not have your kids. We will not have kids. That's NEVER going to happen, not in this life or the next, okay?"

He stared at me, seemingly unfazed by my declaration. It infuriated me so much that I momentarily forgot about my stomach pain and sprung off the bed. Riccardo immediately grabbed my wrist, turning me around to face him. "Woah. Calm down, Olivia."

"I don't want to calm down, Riccardo."

His other hand reached out to touch my face, gently caressing it. I closed my eyes at the tantalizing sensation that washed over me. There was something about his touch that set my body on fire. His touch was electrifying and demanded my full attention. It was gentle yet dominating. I simply couldn't comprehend how it affected me like this.

"Let go of me," I demanded.

"Do you really want me to?" he retorted, tilting his head and locking his eyes with mine.

I should have pushed him away. I should have slapped him for daring to touch me. But I didn't.

"Should I let go of you, Olivia?"

No.

What is wrong with me?

He should repulsé me. He shouldn't be attractive in the slightest.

Just as I was lost in my thoughts, a phone rang, interrupting our moment. It wasn't my ringtone, so I knew it was his. I backed away from him and walked towards the living room, with him following closely behind.

As I reached the center of the living room, he pulled me towards him, causing me to crash into his chest. He spun me around to face him.

"You don't walk away from me," he declared.

"You don't get to tell me what to do," I shot back.

Riccardo narrowed his eyes. "Olivia, don't."

I mirrored his expression. "Riccardo, don't."

His hand snaked around my waist as he closed the nonexistent gap between us, causing me to gasp. "Don't dare me, sunshine." His voice dropped dangerously low.

"Olivia?" I furrowed my brows in confusion upon hearing Axel's voice, even though he wasn't present.

Wait.

I pushed myself away from Riccardo's body and turned to see Axel standing by the door, glaring at Riccardo, who wore an infuriating smirk.

"You," they both uttered.
