The  Mafia's Ruination - Episode 1

Subtitle; {Between Love and War}

Authoress Rejoice

In a dimly lit room with only a small window as the source of light, Alexander stood alongside three other men. They had a beaten and injured man tied to a pillar. The man's shirt was soaked in blood, his face swollen and bleeding. Despite the relentless torture inflicted by the three men, he remained silent, refusing to divulge any information.

Alexander, dressed in all black, observed the scene with a detached expression. His cold gray eyes bore into the injured man as he leaned against the wall, arms folded.

"Talk!" Theodore, one of his associates, snapped, kicking the injured man in the stomach. The man winced in pains but didn't speak. He wouldn't dare betray his side.

Alexander approached the injured man, lowering himself to eye level. "I'm only going to ask you once," he spoke in his deep, masculine voice. "Who sent you?"

The injured man, with fresh wounds on his face, locked eyes with Alexander and defiantly spat in his face. "You're wasting your time. I won't say a word. Just kill me."

Alexander shrugged, his hand reaching for a gun. He smirked as he held a Springfield XD 9MM, pointing it at the man's head. "Your wish is my command," he declared, pulling the trigger. The man drop dead on the cold, hard floor with a thud.

Turning to Theodore, his trusted right-hand man, Alexander ordered, "You know what to do."

As Alexander wiped his face with a tissue, he looked at the lifeless body of the man who had been caught spying on his clan the previous night. "Ensure his body is disposed of properly," he instructed before exiting the room.

Outside, he walked to his Audi A6, sunglasses on, and drove off into the September night in Italy. The cool breeze whispered through the streets as he made his way home. The city was quiet, with only a few people strolling and chatting in the night.

Suddenly, he heard cries coming from an alley. He pulled over, got out of his car, and hurried toward the source of the distress. In the dimly lit alley, he found two men threatening a young woman, demanding money.

The lady's face was tear-stained, her emerald green eyes filled with fear. Alexander confronted the men, quickly subduing them.

They faced him, attempting to use the stick to hit him, he dodges and successfully brought one to the floor with just a kick. He dragged the stick out of the other hand and hit him on his head, he fell on the floor, wincing.

"I'll give you five seconds to leave," he warned. "One... Two... Three... Four... Five."

The men has already scurried off before the count of five. Alexander faced the lady who was trembling.

"Perché cazzo ci fai in un vicolo?" He asked in his deep Italian accent.

Translation: What the fuck are you doing in an alley?

The lady looked at him like he spoke in gibberish.

He stared her from head to toes; his eyes scanning every curves and edges in her small petite body.

"You don't speak Italian?" He questioned, scanning her again.

There was something about her that made him hot.....made him feel something unholy turn in him.

She nodded, biting her bottom lip nervously.

The man in front of her right now was insanely handsome. His cold, emotionless gray eyes held this power to bring any woman to her knees. Even her.

He flexed his muscles, taking off his black leather jacket off and giving it to her.

Her green eyes roamed on his clothed bicep and tricep, hungrily. He looks  delicious, she could literally eat him. She took the jacket from him and put it over herself.

"Go home." He said.

"I. . ." She starts off, hesitatingly. "I don't have a home."

The breeze gently blew her reddish brown hair as she tucks it behind her ears. Her cooper hair cascading all the way to her back and her emerald green eyes heavy with sadness.

"So, you are telling me that you are homeless?" He inquired, taking one step to her. She leans backwards, her back pressing on the wall and hint of fear in her eyes. He smirked, chortling at her reaction. "Scared of me, I like that."

The lady gulped down nothingness, staring into Alexander's gray frosty cold eyes. Alexander let his eyes linger in hers, surprised at her boldness to keep eye contact with him.

"What's your name?" He asked, taking another step to her.

"Alice." She uttered quaveringly.  watching him tower over her 5'2 with his 6'4.

" Let's go, Alice. "

This was unusual especially for him. This was the first time he offers to drive someone, most especially, a lady somewhere. He didn't even drive his sisters.

"To an hotel."

She stared at him, taken aback. He studied her expression, blankly.

Alice knew her body wants this man but that doesn't mean she will easily give access of her body to a total stranger. Handsome stranger.

"I didn't mean it that way," He defended himself, seeing the way she gave him a questioning look. "You're going to lodge at an hotel."

More fear hooded her eyes. Hugging the jacket to herself. "I don't want to,"

He raked his fingers in his brown locks of hair, leaving a deep sigh. "Do you have another option?" She shook her head, biting her lower lips, looking everywhere but him. "Follow me."

Her gaze landed on him - those emerald green eyes staring deep into his dark black soul, making him do what he never thought he will do. To bring a lady to his house.

"Where to?" She frets anxiously, her eyes sparkling with both fear and curiosity.

"My place."

"Your house?" She repeated, stunned that a complete stranger offer to take her to his house. An hot stranger.

"Did I stutter?" Alexander hollered his reply.

Alice swallowed the huge lump in her throat, thinking whether or not to follow him to his house.

By just looking at him, he looks dangerous. His beautiful gray eyes so cold, unfriendly and aloof were just one of his visible dangerous trait.

"Why?" She whispered.

"Why what?" He snapped. "Do you want to stay in a fucking alley and get robbed again?" Breathing in while ruffling his hair, he gave her one last glance before walking away.

Alice watched his backside retreat from her and made her decision in a second. "Wait!" She blurted, running to him. "I'll come with you to your house."

"Get in," Alexander ordered, pointedly at his parked black Audi A6. She quickly obliged, getting into the car. "Seatbelt." He reminded her as he enters the driver's seat, turning on the engine.

"Right," She muttered, lowly. "Sorry."

He paid no attention to her as he drove. He could see from the edge of his eyes that she was staring at him for minutes.

Her petite body sat comfortably on the passenger seat by him with her green emerald boring into him and her bottom lip in between her teeth. He wanted to stop the teeth from attacking her red soft and plump lips with his and wanted to do ungodly things to her body but he focused on driving.

Alice couldn't take her eyes of this insanely hot man as he swirl the steering wheel of his car, she could watch him for hours nonstop.

Everything about him was hot - every single thing about the man was sizzling hot. His disheveled brown hair that she was resisting the urge to run her fingers through it. His body was well sculpted by God for days on end. His eyes, those eyes of his may appear cold and standoffish but that's what makes him dangerously hot.

His hair, his body and his eyes can bring a woman to her knees begging just to be noticed by this Greek god. She could feel her inside churn and turn and swirl with sexual desires for this man. How badly she wanted to run her hand in his dark caramel hair scattered on his head, his t-shirt hugged his biceps and triceps so well calling her to trail her fingers on his abs.

It was evident that this man was driving her sanity away.

"When will you stop looking at me like that?"

Alice shrugs her shoulders. " I wasn't looking at you...I was looking at your window. What's your name?"

He finally looks at her after minutes of avoiding her gaze. "Alexander," He replied, tarting his tongue out to wet his lips. "My name is Alexander."

"Alex?" She says but he glares at her. "Xander?" His glare intensified, drilling invisible holes on her forehead. "Got it, you don't like diminutive names. Just Alexander. "
