🥼 JACE 🥼

“Trust me guys, you are going to love it! Here are the tickets.” She said passing me the two tickets.

I showed it to Elena, and we both didn’t know what to say. My own problem wasn’t going on a vacation, tryst me I need it.

But right now, I need to be at the institute.

I checked the date and saw that the day was in three days time.

“So what do you guys think?” She asked expecting us to say something. I didn’t want to say something that would disrupt our plans nor get Elena vexed.

“It would be awesome guys. Go for it.” Celine said and Elena looked at her in confusion.

“I think I love this girl.” Mother said and I smiled.

“Mother, will you let us discuss this later? Because it looks like we both have something doing.” I said and she nodded.

“Sure. You can talk about it. But you know I don’t like a No for an answer.” She said and I nodded.

“I will take my leave now. Just came here to drop the tickets.” She said and I nodded.

“I will walk you outside Mother.” Elena said and they began to walk out of the house.

“Celine.” I called looking at her.

“It’s high time you took your chances again. I think she fell for our drama.” She said smiling.

“And you aren’t hurt I used you?” I asked and she shook her head.

“I told you I would do anything to see my friend happy. I am just worried about your Mother. She doesn’t know anything about what’s going on.” She said and I smiled.

“I guess she does.” I said and her eyes widened.

“She knows you brought out this crazy contract to bring Elena closer?” She asked and I nodded.

“Yea. And this isn’t the first time they are meeting obviously. They like each other.” I said.

“That’s great Jace. But when do you plan on telling Elena the truth?” She asked in a whisper.

“I don’t know because I am scared. I am just starting to gain her love, I can’t just tell her now. She would flare up and leave.” I said and she sighed.

“And you can’t afford to lose her.” She said and I nodded looking at her.

“I don’t know what to do.” I said sitting down on the couch.

“You know exactly what to do Jace. You knew how to make her fall in love with you. I could see jealously in her eyes, I could feel it in her voice.”

“She loves you. You just need to make that love grow wild. Then you will find the right time to tell her.”

“By that time, probably she would not be angry. Because she is basking in the pool of your love.” She explained and I nodded.

“There is one more thing I want to tell you. And this , she may not take it lightly with me.” I said sighing.

“What’s it this time?” She asked nervously.

“I am the owner of the institute.” I said and her mouth dropped open.

“Wait what?” She asked and I swallowed hard.

“Yes. I know you would act like that, since everyone calls me Jace the judge, they don’t need to know I am the owner of the institute.” I said and she heaved.

“So you can just admit her into the institute without all this voice trainings and living in your house?” She asked and I nodded.

“Yes. But I want her to realize that she doesn’t need to go into the institute because of anyone but because she wants it for herself.” I said.

“Yeah. She wanted to get in because of Stefan. But now, I think that has changed. You need to keep this to yourself until you find the perfect time to tell her. Because…”

“She would think i am a wicked, lying and selfish as*hole. I get it.” I cut in and she sighed.

“We just need to be careful.” She said and I nodded. The door opened and Elena came in making us shut up.

“You should have just explained to her that we are busy or something. It should be Celine going on that trip not me.” She said and we both stood up.

“No Elena. It’s supposed to be you. I would leave now.” Celine said carrying her bag and heading out.

“I will walk you out.” I said and she nodded.

We walked out of the house and she looked at me.

“And when do you plan on telling her we are fake?” She asked.

“When we are on Vacation I guess. I can’t tell her now cos that may be another issue. So I am going to let her know on the trip.” I said and she nodded.

“That’s a great idea. You should know what to tell her now right?” She asked and I nodded.

“Yes i do.” I said.

“Okay then. Everything will be cool. Good bye.” She said walking away.

“Thank you Celine.” I said and she looked back.

“No I should thank you. For not giving up on Elena after her immature act.” She said and I smiled.

She walked away and I walked back into the house and met Elena in the living room probably waiting for me to explain what Celine meant.

“She is gone.” I said smiling.

“Yes she is. But I don’t understand what she said before leaving. What did she mean by it’s supposed to be me? Are you having issues?” She asked and I shook my head.

“We are very okay Elena. She said that because you are the one mother knows as my…. You know. So Celine and i can’t be seen together. Not in a couple’s hangout.” I said and she nodded.

“But you want it to be her right?” She asked and I heaved.

“Elena.” I called but she stopped me.

“It’s okay. I get it.” She said walking away.
