                SANDRA

"Thank you so much Sir." I said collecting the house receipt from him.

"You are welcome. Enjoy your stay." He said and I nodded. He walked away from the door and I shut the door smiling.

Dad would never locate me here, same as Fernando. I don't want to see any of them, since they don't want my happiness, I shouldn't see them.

And I have to stay away from mother too, because it's possible father finds out my location from her. So I am just here, all by myself.

I rose up the cotton in the room and looked out of the window smiling. There was also a house which had the same structure that ours had.

"Cool." I thought walking away from the window. I began to remove my clothes from my bag arranging them in my closet.

I brought out my Ex's picture and stared at it as tears gathered my eyes. He didn't actually break my heart but death did that.

He died in a plane crash when he was on his way to Madrid. When I heard about this. It was like I was going to die.

It weighed me down, and even affected my job at the office. What do you expect from a relationship of 6 years, that just crumbled that way.

We were planning to get married after he arrived and then death did it's worse. Father saw how affected I was and wanted me to get married to his friends son so as to forget him.

But he doesn't understand that, things doesn't just work that way. I can't just forget about Christan and then move to another guy.

For crying out loud, it's been 6years. Six good years. We have been together from college and he expects me to just move on?

We were one already. I did virtually everything with him and with his help. I don't think I can ever fall in love with anyone else.

I hung his picture right on top of my bed and took a last look at it before looking away.

I removed my clothes and walked into the shower for a bath. It had a bath tub, perfecto.

I prepared the water, it was warm in temperature. I sat in it and inhaled air in relieve.

I shut my eyes as I felt the absorbing power of the water.

I scrubbed my body after few minutes with the foam I brought from my house. I then rinsed my body and walked out of the bathroom tieing my towel.

I dried my body including my hair, and walked to the closet to get a casual clothing. I need to do some shopping, I need groceries, milk and many more.

Am starving already.

I wore my pink blouse and black trousers, put on my slippers and then my face cap to match. I picked up my purse which consisted of my credit card, some little cash, the apartment key, portable face mirror and many other things.

I walked out of the house and shut the door with the key. I locked it and threw it in my bag ready to move.

I walked down the hallway and I met some women and ladies there.

"Good day." I greeted smiling. Some replied while some didn't, they just kept staring at me.

"Maybe they don't do greetings here." I thought ignoring them and walking away. Can't let anyone ruin my mood.

I got to the front of the house and stop a taxi.

"The Market?" I asked and he nodded. I smiled and opened the door, I sat in it and he zoomed off.

"You are new here?" He asked looking at me through the mirror.

"Yes." I replied smiling.

"It's obvious. I haven't seen you here before." He said and I smiled nodding.

" I hope you enjoy this part of Madrid." He said and I smiled.

" It seems the large percentage of people here are nice and caring. An old man just helped me out some hours ago." I said and he smiled.

"The way there are good ones, there are equal bad ones which you should stay away from." He said and I looked at him fearfully.

"How do I know them?" I asked.

"By their appearances, you shall know them." He said and I sighed.

" I pray I don't come in contact with them at all." I said and he smiled.

" It's inevitable Ma'am. You just have to be careful how you deal with people. Some don't worth your attention nor care." He said and I smiled.

" Thanks." I said ruminating over what he said.

" We are here." He said and I looked up.

" Oh thanks. How much is it?" I asked and he shook his head smiling.

"The distance is short. Forget about it, take that as a first time treat." He said and I shook my head.

" No no, please accept something." I said and he smiled shaking his head.

"Nice having you as a customer." He said and I laughed keeping my money with me.

"Thanks." I said and he nodded smiling. I walked out of the taxi and waved him good bye before he zoomed off.

I looked at the entrance of the market standing akimbo.

"Okay where do I start?" I thought smiling.

" There!" I said pointing to a shop that sold groceries.  I walked up to the shop happily, freedom is very amazing.
