I waited for Diana to come back when I heard a knock on the door. I sprang to my feet and rushed to open the door when I saw Uncle John panting heavily.
"Uncle John." I called looking at him in awe. I have never seen him this stressed out before.
"Hey Isaac." He said smiling.
"What's up with you? You look.." I said and he nodded.
"Exhausted. Tired. Yes I am exhausted." He said sitting on the couch.
"Why were you running? Were you been chased?" I asked and he shook his head.
"Of course not. I was jogging, so I decided to branch here when my stomach began to grumble." He said and I laughed.
"You are hungry Hun?" I asked and he shook his head.
"Not that Isaac. I am pressed and I need to use the toilet ASAP." He said and I laughed again.
"You can use any of the toilet in the rooms." I said and he nodded standing up.
"Where is Diana?" He asked before heading to the room.
"She went to Mrs Danielle's." I answered.
"Why?" He asked opening the door to Diana's room.
"I think she went to talk to her about me,I don't really know. Why are you asking?" I asked and I got no reply.
I guessed he was in the toilet already, so I just waited for him to come out.
I picked up my phone and called Diana, hoping she would pick up. What's keeping her so long??
Thank heavens she actually picked up.
Diana where are you? It's been two hours.
Isaac I am sorry. I would be home soon okay? I just had to take care of something.
With Danielle?
Yes. Don't worry, I will tell you everything when I get home. Got to go. I love you.
She hung up and I sighed staring at my phone for some seconds before putting it away.
"I am done." Uncle John said behind me and I smiled looking at him.
"That was quick." I said and he laughed.
"It's quite embarrassing right? I am just so happy your mom isn't around." He said and we both laughed.
"It's not a crime to be pressed." I said and he nodded.
"I know. But it's not cool." He said and I laughed again.
"Don't you think you should be with Mom now? To keep her company? Now we aren't with her." I said and he sighed.
"Of course I will go to her now. Just wanted to ask if there are any progress on the incident with Diana. I am sorry I have not been helping,I have been so busy." He said.
"I understand. The only suspect we had was Mrs Danielle, but she is also innocent. She was with me that night." I said and he nodded.
"Enoch?" He asked and I looked at him.
"Enoch would never do that to Diana. He loves her. I know he does. If he wanted to kill someone, it would be me,not her." I said.
"So currently we have no suspect?" He asked.
"The only suspect i have now is Tron. Caroline's first son. Diana actually spoke to him angrily after he acted rude to me. He is the only one I can think of." I said and he shook his head.
"Tron was with me that night too." He said and I furrowed my brows.
"No he wasn't. You were with Mom, Remember?" I asked and he nodded.
"I do remember,but he had a little chat." He said.
"That doesn't justify him. He is the next time get interrogated." I said looking at him.
"I would deal with Tron." He said and I shook my head.
"We should do this together." I said but he refused.
"Trust me on this one. I haven't been here to help out, let me do this for Diana." He said and I smiled.
"Okay." I said and he stood up.
"I have to go now. Thanks for letting me free myself." He said and I laughed.
"Anything for you Uncle John." I said walking him to the door. He walked out and waved me goodbye before finally walking away.
I wanted to shut the door when I sighted Diana approaching. She looked exhausted. What's with everybody today.
I waited for her to come closer and when she did I hugged her tightly.
"Hmm I missed you." I said smiling.
"I missed you too." She replied with a smile on her face too.
"You just missed Uncle John." I said as we walked inside.
"Really? That's painful." She said sitting on the couch.
"So tell me, what did you find out?" I asked eagerly and she stared at me for some seconds before reaching for her bag.
"Mrs Danielle said I should give this to you. She can't face you." She said avs and I furrowed my brows trying to understand what was going on.
"She can't face me?" I asked collecting the paper from her. I checked it out and I saw it was a DNA test.
"Who's this for?" I asked before reading it.
"It's for you. You are Danielle lost son." She said and I bursted into laughter.
