Alexandra's POV
“Why're you following me?” I asked him as I felt him behind me.
“Just to make sure you don't leave.” He said.
I scoffed.
“Don't think im so afraid of you that im scared of going somewhere with you. ” I said.
Even though I had no idea why I accepted to go out with him.
Okay, I know.
It's cos I don't want him getting upset and then, ending our friendship.
I can't deny that im quite happy now to be his friend.
I wasn't before but I guess im suddenly liking this crazy friendship of ours.
Steph was leaning on her car and Eve stood in her front as they talked.
I walked up to them and smiled.
I wonder how Steph's gonna feel to hear im going out with Jeremy for friendship anniversary shit.
They turned to me.
Eve smiled while Steph frowned.
“Why did you had to stay that long huh?” Steph asked.
“Im sorry.” I said.
“It's fine. Let's go. Neil's been waiting.” She said.
I swallowed nervously.
“Im.. Im sorry, im going somewhere with him.” I said coldly.
Steph gasped, then glanced at Jeremy who stood quite far from us.
“Whats that you talking about?” Steph asked, staring at me.
“Steph, it's fine. They are friends and could go anywhere.” Eve said.
“They are friends?” Steph asked.
I swallowed.
I never told Eve, Jeremy and I are friends.
“Umm. Im sorry, but you know, it seems like they are. It ain't bad if they are.” Eve said.
“Alex, let's go now. You can't go out with that punk.” She said.
I turned to look at Jeremy.
He stared at us with his headphone on his head.
I really don't know what to do.
“And c'mon, the weather ain't so cool. It might rain and he'do leave you stranded.” She said.
I inhaled.
“It's fine. He's gonna drive me home.” I said.
She stared at me for a while.
“It's okay. Just be careful.” She said.
Then opened the door and went in.
And it drove off.
“Be careful.” Eve said.
“Yeah I will.” I said and she turned and walked away.
I turned to Jeremy and he was walking towards.
I admired the way he walk.
He'do look more cute if his hair ain't weaved.
I'll let him know someday.
And he's the only guy who weaves his hair in this school.
Why?
“You got some dumbass as friends tho.” He said.
“Don't talk about my friends that way.” I said.
“They act so lame.” He said.
“They just wanna be sure im fine going to God knows where with a jerk like you.” I said.
“Sounds nice tho.” He said and made towards his car.
I followed him.

When we got in, he drove off and played, Little More by Chris Brown.
I got that song and I love it.
But im not gonna sing it here in this jerk's car.
As he drove on, I can't help but ask him.
“Where are we going?”
“Can you stop asking that?” He said.
Seriously?
“I should know where you're taking me to!” I half yelled.
He chuckled.
God, his dimple.
My bad! I remember, I've not told Lili about this.
How could I forget the first thing I should do?
I typed.
<b> Lili, Jeremy had to force me to go out with him. The truth is, we're some kinda friends now. He'll bring me home.

Few minutes later, She called.
I picked it.
“Alex dear.” She called.
“Lili” I said.
“Are you sure you're fine going out with him?” She asked.
“Yeah I am.” I said.
“Be home soon okay.” She said.
“I will.” I answered.
“Bye dear. Take care.” She said.
“Bye.” I said.
She dropped the call.
“Who's that? Your mom?” He asked.
“My aunt.” I said.
“You stay with your aunt?” He asked.
“Yeah.”
“Why?”
“Cos I want to!” It was a little yell tho.
He should mind his business.
Soon, he pulled to a stop.
“Get down Andra.” He said.
“Are we there now?” I asked.
“Yeah.” He said.
We got down.
Wow.
It's a beautiful restaurant with courful paint and beautiful flowers.
There's a waterfall and it isn't crowded.
Just few people are in.
We walked in, with us so close, that our arms touched.
I felt eyes on us.
They must be wondering what this high school teens in uniform is doing here. Right?
Then I felt hold my hand.
Huh?
I looked at him.
He looked at me with a smile.
“So they don't think you're alone.” He said.
“They?” I said and then I saw them.
Two guys.
They were staring at us.
Why would they even think im alone when im walking side by side with him.
But the way he held my hand, I think I like it.
Jeremy's POV
I held her hand, and told her its cos of those guys.
No. It ain't.
It's cos I felt that feeling of holding her hand and I couldn't help but do it.
We walked pass the guys and they were staring.
Dumbass!
I found a table with two chairs opposite each other and I left her hand and we sat down.
There's a pretty flower vase on top the side of the table.
A waitress came.
I know her.
Mrs Karen. She's a friend to my dad.
My dad loves coming here to eat whenever he's angry with Moni's meals.
It's not such a luxurious eatery but it's so cool and the first day I came over to eat, I loved it. This is actually my second time.
She can't remember me now tho.
“Can I get two sandwich and wine?” I
asked.
“Sure.” She said.
“For you and your girlfriend.” She said with a smile.
I glanced at Andra.
Her face is kinda stoic.
“Yeah. For me and my girlfriend.” I said.
Then her stoic face turned to a frown.
“Oh. Lovely. She's so beautiful.” Mrs Karen said.
When she left, Andra's face was looking deadly.
It made me smile.
Haha.
“Why did you say that huh?” She asked.
“What?” I asked, like I don't know what she's talking about.
“Why would you say that we're dating.” She asked.
“We ain't. Did I say we are?” She paused.
“You told her im your girlfriend.” She said.
“Ofcos, you are.” I said, smiling.
“What?” She stared at me.
“I mean, you are a girl right and you're my friend. Then add the three words together, it's ‘My girl friend’” I said sarcastically.
“It makes no difference.” She said.
Mrs Karen came back with two sandwich, a wine and two wine cups. She dropped it and popped the wine open.
“You celebrating something?” She asked.
“Yeah.. We are one week today.” I said with a smile and looked at Andra.
Her face is down now.
“Wow.. You guys are just unique and match for a cute couple.” She said.
I smiled.
She left.
“Hey Andra..” I called.
She looked up with such a frowny face that made me chuckle.
“You are a jerk!” She said.
“She's a friend to my dad. But she don't know im the one tho cos I've been here just once with my dad. Actually, this is my second time of being here.” I said.
Alexandra's POV
He must love his dad..
I did mine until he broke his promise to my mom.
Until he hurt me.
“Do you love your dad so much?” I asked him.
“Yeah, I really do.” I said.
“And your mom?”
“She's not my mom.” He said.
“She's not your mom?” I asked, wondering why.
“She gave birth to me but she never cared about me.” He said.
I sighed, feeling sad for him.
“I loved my mom so much. And my dad? Well I did until my mom passed away months ago and he broke his promise.” I said coldly.
He stared at me.
“What promise?” He asked.
I shook my head, “You don't need to know my story.” I said.
He blinked and then took my hand.
Really?
“Im sorry.. your mom passed out and im sorry that your dad broke his promise.” He said, looking into my eyes.
It was meek and amazing.
And I felt a tears drop from my eyes.
“Take.” He said, handing me a hankerchief.
I took it and dried my tears.
“You know, I don't want this anniversary to end up with both of us shedding tears.” He said.
Both of us shedding tears?
Him and I?
I looked at him and he's smiling.
“Let's not talk about those that make us cry and let's just talk and focus on those who make us happy.” He said.
I stared at him.
“Those who make us happy?” I asked.
“Yeah. Like I make you happy.” He said with a smile, and winked.
Punk. Crazy guy.
“Why would you think you make me happy?” I asked.
“Cos you make me happy.” He said.
Huh?
Alexandra's POV
Huh?
Did he just say that I make him happy?
Do I really make him happy?
“Not all the time tho. Sometimes you're stubborn, you know.” He said.
“You are always arrogant too.” I said.
He shrugged and smiled.
I really admire his smiles...
“Let's eat.” He said.
He poured the wine into my cup and into his.
“Cheers to our friendship.” He said with a broad smile.
I smiled as well as we did the glint hitting of glass together.
I laughed and sipped mine, as he did too.
What's funny?
I felt people's eyes on us.
Those guys are gone now tho.
The wine taste so good.
He was staring at me.
Then it began drizzling.
Oh my! I checked the time and it's 6:40pm.
Argh. Its getting late already and getting so dark cos of the weather now.
“We should get going now.” I said.
“Nop. We ain't done with our anniversary.” He said.
“Its gonna rain. Lili's gonna be expecting me now.” I said.
“If she is, then she should have called by now.” He said.
“Told her im out with you.” I said.
“Whoa. Then that means, she must trust me alot, when she don't even know me yet.” He said.
I laughed.
“Tell me, what you don't like about me.” He asked, smiling.
Everything!
Okay, your cuteness and your dimples are excluded.
“I don't like the arrogant you, the proud you and your weaved hair.” I said.
He blinked his eyes.
“Oh whatever. Im not gonna change. I love the way I am.” He said.
“Whatever.” I said.
He laughed.
He's more cute when he laugh.
It began raining.
I looked at him.
“Im coming.” He said and stood up.
He walked to Mrs Karen, then in two minutes he was back.
I was feeling so cold now and I didn't wear my suite-jacket today.
“Let's go now okay.” He said.
“Im so cold and I hate thunder strikes.” I said.
He took my hand and helped me up.
“Lemme take you home okay.” He said.
When we got outside the eatery balcony. It's so cold and I was freezing.
I folded my arms to lessen the coldness even though that doesn't help at all.
He was beside me,
Then he came over to my front and pulled of his pullover.
“I'll wear you this, so you don't feel so cold.” He said.
“Don't worry, im never gonna ask for it.” He assured
as he got it over my back, and I slide my hands into it sleeves.
I stared at me
I can't believe he's doing all this.
And, then he didn't move back.
He stood so close to each other.
He stared into my eyes for a while.
Then I felt his hehind my hair and he brought his face and placed a kiss on my forehead.
Huh?
It sent chills down me.
His lips stayed on my forehead for up to six seconds before he withdrew.
Then he stared into my eyes again, “Thanks for being my friend.” He said softly.
I felt my pulse stop.
Is he this soft and cool?
And before I could say anything, he hugged me.
It was tight but warm.
Then he pulled away.
“Let's go.” He said and took my hand and we ran to his car.
Rain poured on us but we got into his car quite on time.
We didn't drench but we were quite wet.
“Fuck this rain!” He said as he ignited his car and drove off.
All I did was stare at him and at his hands moving on the steering wheel.
He kissed my forehead and said, thanks for being my friend and then that hug.
So warm.
I found myself thinking about it till we got to my house, although I did give him a bit direction and Lili's house, he knew the rest..
Jeremy's POV
I pulled to a stop at the gate of her house.
Wow.
“I've been driving pass this house tho.” I said.
“I'll follow you in,.so your Aunt don't get so mad at you.” I said with a smile.
“No. She won't. You don't need to come with me.” She said.
Fuck.
“I want to.” I said.
“Fine.” She said.

We got to the door.
It was drizzling.
She pressed the doorbell and few a minute later, someone opened the door.
A beautiful woman.
This was the lady I saw with her the week she began school.
She looked at Andra and then at me.
“Hello Ma'am. Im sorry she's quite late.” I said calmly.
“It's okay Jeremy, Alex told me everything. You don't need to worry.” She said.
Wow.
She turned to Andra.
“Alex dear.” She said and hugged her.
Woooow.
Such a sweet Aunt.
“It's fine Lili, im fine.” Andra said.
I just watched.
Her Aunt withdrew and turned to me.
“Im sorry Jeremy, pardon me, come in.” She said to me.
“Nah, I'll be going now. Just wanna show up so you don't be damn annoyed at me when you see me someday.” I said with a smile.
She smiled.
“Awwn,” She said, smiling.
I turned to Andra.
She was looking at me.
I'll miss her.
“I'll be going now. Bye Andra.” I said.
“Bye.” Andra said.
“Bye Ma'am.” I said to her aunt.
“Bye Jeremy.” She said.
I got back to my car and rested my head on the headrest and smiled.
I gave her my pullover again.
(Smiling)
Arghh! How this girl makes me feel.
I can't wait to see her tomorrow.
I'll miss her.
I sat up and drove off.
Im glad I know her home now tho.
Alexandra's #POV
“I think he's nice.” Lili said inside the house.
“Maybe.” I said.
“Are you guys really cool now?” She asked.
“Maybe.” I said and made to my room.
“Be out soon, so you can eat okay.” She said.
“Alright.” I said.
I walked into my room.
Im so tired actually.
I dropped my bag and fell on my bed.
His pullover helped alot.
A message came in.
I know its him.
I got out my phone and opened the message.

If he's this way, Wow! Then I'do wanna continue being his friend forever.

I took out my diary to write.
<b> Dear diary,
Today, Jeremy and I had our one week friendship anniversary.
And every moment we had together, I can say that I liked every bit of it.
There's a side of him that tells just how nice and cool he can be...
