Scarlett eyes widens in shock , he just called her flower !
She tries to step back but he wouldn't budge.
" The moment you started working here Scarlett, you sealed your fate and there's no going back "
He said trailing his fingers on her lips making her shiver .
Liam smirks and steps back , he takes the resignation letter and tears it to shreds , his gaze still locked on hers .
" I see you did not prepare for the trip *scoffs* it won't change a thing , clear your desk , were leaving right now "
Scarlett nods stiffly and walks back to her desk like a robot ..
At the airport, Liam and Scarlett was lead into one of the private jets , reporters came from nowhere and struggled to get a glimpse of them as they entered the jet .
Liam is busy in his tablet totally ignoring the person seating at his front .
She folds her hands nervously trying to ignore his demi god physique.
*What excuse will I give to see Aiden and aunt shelby, I really hope the business meeting is in Alberta * Scarlett thought sighing, even though the air conditioner was on she was feeling super hot especially in her armpit region and it was itching the hell out of her . To scratch it is the problem, Liam's gaze was on his tablet but she's very sure that he would notice if she scratch her armpit.
Scarlett leans back on the chair praying for the flight to land quickly.
" Err Sir, where in Calgary is will the meeting be held "
His cold gaze meets hers and he switches of the tablet " well it's in Alberta.... "
" Yes ! "
He looks at her confused " yes what "
She clears her throat embarrassed " sorry sir , I meant to say yes Alberta sounds like a good place "
" Hmmm " he said eyeing her suspiciously
" Anyway as I was saying we're heading to Alberta for a business auction not meeting. The emulus family wants to sell some of their priceless possessions and what I need is there "
She seats up " what is that thing "
Liam smirks " a rare gem porcelain owned by an ancient Greek ruler , once I have it will be used to negotiate a deal with Jude smith ' a top prestigious business man ' and it will highly benefit the company"
" Wow " She mutters feeling overwhelmed
He crosses his leg and turns the tablet back on leaving her in her thoughts.
TORONTO
In Katherine's villa , Camilla sat fuming on the couch, she was still complaining about what happened.
" My beautiful hands have not received justice, I can't believe Liam did not fire that bitch "
Katherine sighs " I asked you if you're sure about this and you said yes and now look you put your body at risk have you forgotten that you're a model "
She grumbles " I can't just seat back and watch her snatch Liam away from me "

Camilla leans back on the couch trying to think " well not really but he is becoming more distant than ever , I've been calling his line since but he won't pick and he is not in his penthouse or family mansion, I feel like he's avoiding me because of her "
" Ok calm down " Kathrine said rubbing her back
" I'm sure there's a valid reason for him avoiding you , so just exercise patience "
Camilla folds her hands frowning" right , I hope so "
Her phone rings , it was her manager telling her that she needs to be in the studio for a photo shoot
" I hope he won't notice your burns " Kathrine said sighing
Camilla waves it off carrying her back " nah , I'm sure he won't , the cream the doctor gave me to remove the scars is working "
" I need to go now " she said and leaves
At the studio, the makeup artists began their work on her immediately, cus the shoot was in an hour ...
Camilla immediately took a photo of herself and posted it on her Instagram page and captioned it ' LOOKING BEAUTIFUL BUT LONELY ' and immediately her fans flooded the comments section

Yvonne tiptoes away when she hears silent moans coming from the bathroom, she stops and heads towards it . Peeping from the keyhole she almost vomits at what she saw

" Eww " Yvonne mutters and leaves hurriedly
She collapses on the bed in her room trying to get that picture out of her head .

Yvonne seats up " could it be that mom took it from Scarlett *smirks* I'll be more than glad to sell it "
She giggles " I'm going to be rich , damn ! a real diamond pendant "
CALGARY, ALBERTA
Liam and Scarlett comes down from the plane surrounded by bodyguards and beside them were a sea of reporters trying to get a picture while some were asking questions

The bodyguards push them aside as Liam and Scarlett makes their wat ignoring them and enters the Porsche car already waiting for them .
Liam sighs and leans on the car seat , he really hates reporters they are so noisy and annoying.
" We will be lodging in one of my hotels cause it's closer to the auction venue"
Scarlett face turn red, her heart increases at the thought of of her lodging in a hotel with Liam .
" Discard any stupid thought you're having miss blackwood we're here strictly on business" he said deadpanned reading her expression
She flushes deep red in embarrassment nodding her head
* Oh God let me just die , how can I be thinking of things like that ! * She thought biting her lips while staring down at her lap .
The hotel was magnificent, every decor was screaming money ... Gold and silver architecture designs everywhere , inside was another world , huge shiny glass chandeliers hanging from the high ceilings, the floor was tiled with ruby decors and it glistened whenever the sun kissed it .
All employees bowed in respect as they stepped inside , Scarlett struggled to keep her mouth closed , it has been long she has seen luxury like this .
Liam face held no emotion as they bowed to him , he walked majestically like the king he is ..
Scarlett folds her hands nervously his boss aura was intimidating, she takes a deep breath and counted her steps as she walked .
" Show miss blackwood her suite" he mutters and leaves
" Yes sir " the worker said. " This way ma'am"
" Ok " Scarlett said and follows her
The worker shows her the suite and of cause it was breathtaking and more than she imagined.
" Wow " she mutters smiling
" If need anything ma'am pls notify us immediately" the worker said and takes her leave
Scarlett squeals happily and drops her bag , she did not carry any clothes at all .
" Liam said he will take care of it " she mutters and walks to the closet and opens it .
She gasps in shock, it was full of different designer clothes the latest ones and they were all her size .
" He still remembers my size " she mutters confused
" Ugh Scarlett stop your crazy imagination we're here on strict business"
She sighs and enters the bathroom to shower .
At Liam's suite , he is speaking to one of his trusted bodyguards .
" You're going back to Toronto felix. I want you to check the surveillance cameras starting from the company down to the bus terminal " he mutters looking at the resume of Scarlett
" Yes sir " Felix said and bows before leaving
Liam stares intensely at the picture of Scarlett clipped on her resume
* I'll find out what happened to you * he mutters and stands up
He sends a text to Scarlett asking her to come to his suite .
Scarlett was lying down lazily on the bed , browsing the internet on information about business auctions.
A text from an unknown number enters her phone , she reads it and she gasps in surprise.
" How did he get my new number" she mutters standing up
Scarlett sighs and leaves her suite , a bodyguard as of waiting for her takes hecto Liam's suite .
She takes a deep breath and pushes the door open gently, stepping inside was another heaven .... The place was even more magnificent than hers and it was well arranged and decorated
" How can a place be beautiful like this " she mutters looking around .
Scarlett smiles and started exploring without even noticing it, everywhere was too beautiful to be ignored, she touched everything she could lay her hands on ...
She stops at a huge double doors and curiosity gets a hold of her and she opens it and slips inside.
" Oh my gosh " she mutters as she discovered it is a room this time around
" I've to leave now " she screams inwardly and tiptoes towards the door when she hears quiet footsteps coming , only one person in this world can walk like that !
Scarlett looks around panicking, if she opens the door to leave , he will surely hear it .
Liam groans and dries his hair with a towel , he was wearing a bathrobe and it wasn't tied so his magnetic abs were on display but he was wearing boxers beneath.
Water trickled down from his hair down to his chest , his broad shoulders was really noticable , he looked really handsome.
" Why has miss blackwood not knocked already " he mutters dropping the towel on the bed and heads to the closet to take his clothes
Opening the closer something or should I say something fell down like a heap of clothes
He jumps back in shock , as he sees the person
" Scarlett! "
She smiles nervously and swallows imaginary saliva as her eyes meets his abs and it travels down to his boxers
" Nice abs " she said her eyes glued to his briefs
Liam steps back red in embarrassment as he noticed what she was staring at her gaze .
