Ivanna took the instruction way too serious, the gunshots from her made the shore building vibrate like she's in a country war front.
She didn't take her streaked eyes away from the target—Monika, who's also shooting relentlessly from that wooden bridge.
Ivanna released bullets on the bridge woods, and as Monika tried to avoid the bullets—find a standing and shoot at Leo at the same time, she started losing her bearing.
The multitask made her head spin.
She was spinning around the bridge wooden floorboards, trying to reset her bearing till Leonardo slipped to the end of the rope and jumped on that bridge with her.
She backed up once, and the port air blew her veil away from her face.
That cruel face was intimidating as she shot at Leonardo directly.
But instantly, a bullet flew to her angle from Ivanna. That bullet shattered a large part of the wood railings, scattering shafts in the air.
Monika lost her bearings again.
Her bullet flew past Leonardo, entering the water below.
"Finally scurried out of your little hole, Monika?" Leonardo's charged voice dropped as he walked up briskly to her.
Monika returned her gun to her straps and re-covered her face with her veil before going for him too.
Surely, she has poison at hand which she can inject him with at anytime, so when they clashed and started the fight, Leonardo made sure to keep his eyes on her hands.
At the same time, Ivanna kept firing from that building.
She shot at the bridge ground, distracting Monika with the sound.
Even if she's gonna inject, it'd be impossible with this much intentional sound distraction.
She increased her bullet flows, her eyes became redder under the lens, and for a second, she got the idea of letting Monika have the upper hand so Leonardo would get poisoned and die on that bridge.
That thought persisted in her mind for just one minute, but she discarded it eventually.
She's gonna be the one to kill Leonardo herself in a brutal way, so letting Monika kill him is nonsense.
She readjusted her feet on the stone, focusing on her distractive gunshots.
More of Monika gangsters poured into the cold shore.
As Ivanna shot at Monika's angle to distract her senses, the gangsters started shooting at Leonardo's angle too in an attempt to slow him down.
The gangsters are like ten, against Ivanna alone, so she definitely needs backup shooters.
Lissa and Sandra who should be her backup are still at the far end of the shore, staring like animals.
Lissa's back is bleeding, and she looks like she's in so much pains.
"Backup!! I need backup here!!" Ivanna shouted, but none of them moved from where they stood.
When Sandra finally moved, Lissa groaned. Her shot back was killing her so much, bleeding down.
Sandra went down beside her.
"Told ya it was never gonna work. You know him more than any of us. He doesn't care about casualties in missions. To him, if you die or get shot, it's your own fault, he owes no one anything and I'm afraid that includes you." Sandra said.
Lissa grunted, her face turning pale as more blood poured from her back.
She looked at how Ivanna is currently covering for Leo against Monika and her gangsters.
She's the one who should be there, covering for Leo.
Ivanna has no right.
Lissa tried standing, but she fell back, the pain from her back doubling.
"Ahh!"
Her fingers dug into the shore sand, and the grains stabbed her flesh.
"You lost too much blood, lie down on your face while I try to remove the bullet," Sandra said.
Lissa lay on her face reluctantly, and Sandra brought a slim pen out of her pocket.
"There's no scalpel of forceps here, so I'm just gonna use this pen," she said.
"Just get rid of the bullet already!" Lissa groaned again.
Sandra got to work immediately.
Meanwhile, Ivanna is still on it. Still in her coverage job.
When she sensed no backup was coming, she started moving around that building, shooting from different angles like she's ten in one.
Her moves were swift, sharp and precise. She tried hard to match up with the gangsters energy.
Seeing that she's matching their energy even as she's alone, half of the gangsters faced her.
They started targeting her.
On the bridge, Leonardo and Monika are still giving it hot to each other.
The combat felt like a death combat. Monika isn't only good with poisons, she's a mad fighter too.
It's the first time Leonardo would fight her one-on-one, but he wasn't impressed by her madness.
He returned it in ten folds.
Who the hell is Monika in front of the president of madness himself?
The wooden bridge has been ruined with bullets already, and right now one single wrong move would make it crumble, but the bullets are still coming from gangsters and Ivanna.
Monika fought mostly with her veil, trying to curl Leonardo's neck with it, but all her attempts were aborted before they even grew.
Leonardo slapped her once, and she tore his arm with her nails before their bloody fight resumed again.
Another array of bullets hit the bridge ground, and that was the last damn straw.
That part of the bridge broke, and Leonardo quickly jumped, landing on the railings edge.
Monika didn't.
Instead, she allowed herself to fall off the bridge, into the water.
As she fell, Leonardo jumped from the railings into the water, following her in another chase.
After Monika fell, her gangsters by the shore stopped shooting and just retreated into the darkness.
The gunshots stopped, and Ivanna finally had time to breathe.
With shaky hands and limbs, she threw her gun down, and she crashed to her knees in the middle of the bodies of gangsters she killed.
From her knees, she fell flat on her back, facing the shore sky.
She's already breathless as she brought the hanky out of her pocket, placing it on her nose to stabilize her breaths and calm.
The ephedra scent in the hanky is starting to fade off. She'd need another one at this point.
As she drew ephedra from the hanky, her eyes thinned, and she could imagine the faces of her parents on the starry bright sky.
She could also imagine her dad sitting in their small yard on starry nights like this. He loves making whip-shots for her and her siblings.
"Mum, dad. Your daughter became a criminal," she muttered.
But then...she felt a slight pain on her right arm, and she checked.
There's a small wound.

[Market]
It's Robert and Bacardi against Bradshaw, then Nino and Bobby against Moo.
The lower mobsters have resumed carrying the boxes right now, so the fight got bloodier.
Moo is insane, like the bat shit kind. And Bradshaw isn't any different.
Their fists were all-over the place, but of course they're not a match.
Not when Bobby still hasn't forgiven Bradshaw for the mosquito shit, and Robert hasn't forgiven Moo for almost killing Ivanna.
Bradshaw was thrown on a table by Bobby, and when he landed, he rolled off to the other side where Nino tried to gift him an uppercut.
Bradshaw was incredibly faster, so Nino received an uppercut instead, and Bradshaw grinned.
Moo is slipping like a fish, untouchable and unreachable as she swung her small knees around.
She pressed the knife that's stuck on Robert's back, and that was enough to make Robert squirm.
"Your sister still owes me her life, and I'm going to take it!" She whispered.
Bacardi stepped into the scene to defend him, but that was when a truck suddenly drove into the market
The truck collided into the shed they're under, and the mobsters had to step aside for it to cross.
Moo and Bradshaw stayed at the other side, but after the truck crossed out, they were gone.
Definitely, they left with the truck.
"Check the shipment boxes!" Bobby ordered the lower mobsters.
"Complete! All 30 boxes are here!" They replied after checking.
"Good," Bobby nodded, unwrapping a bubble gum into his mouth.
Robert took his seat on the ground, gasping for breaths.
Bacardi went on a knee beside him, looking at the small knife at his back.
"I'm gonna be removing at the count of three," she said.
"No! Let Nino remove it!" Robert quickly said.
"Are you scared?" Bacardi smiled. "Don't panic, I'll be gentle."
She grabbed the knife handle, pulling it out of his stomach sharply. Deep red blood followed it out.
"Aghhgh!!!" He groaned loudly.
"Keep it low," Bobby cooed, sitting on a counter in the second shop.
After the knife was pulled, Nino removed his jacket and wrapped it on Robert's tummy to douse the bleeding
And that was when Ivanna rushed into the market.
She actually heard Robert's scream, and she thought something happened
"Iva," Robert sighted her.
"Hey..." She rushed over, dropping her gun and kneeling to check out the bloody wound.
"I'm fine, the knife wasn't poisonous so I'll be ok." Robert smiled.
"Thank gawd," she replied.
Nino saw her arm wound and just pretended he didn't see anything.
Bacardi saw the wound, too. She didn't talk about it though.
"Where are the rest?" She asked.
"Where is Leo and Sandra?" Bobby asked at the same time.
Ivanna looked up, wordless.
--
Leonardo didn't catch up with Monika despite hard he chased.
She's good with the currents, so she swam faster, and by the time he got to another part of the shore, she was already gone.
He met silence.
He swam out of the water, sweeping his hair back with his palm.
"That was impressive stuff." Don Anthony's voice boomed.
Leonardo looked ahead to see the bulgy man sitting under a tree on that shore, looking satisfied.
"You've gotta learn how to stop shoving your wrinkled face around," Leonardo muttered.
"I wasn't talking about you, I'm used to seeing you impress me. I was talking about your pawn... Ivanna?" Don Anthony said.
"Now you're gonna do some silly praises after you got disgraced?" Leonardo replied, walking past him.
"You've gotta learn how to talk to your father respectfully," Anthony stated, standing.
"I didn't lie, so I see no reason to learn shit. Didn't you get disgraced?" Leonardo faced him. "You put her and her brother on the roster cos you wanted to kill them, and you came here to watch the mission in hiding cos you wanted to probably make a video of their deaths for your wife."
Don Anthony went silent, but he grunted quietly.
Leonardo rolled eyes hard and resume his walk, water dripping off his wet clothes.
You are reading from www.mhiztaemy.com.ng
"This would be my last attempt at trying to get them out. I've always kept pawns who impress me, so her and her brother earned their reason to live already. Give them the dragon tattoos whenever you want." Anthony said suddenly.
Leonardo stopped, turning.
"Correction — they're my pawns, not yours. The next time you put them in roster without my knowledge, I'll kill them myself. Now that you know their worth, killing them in front of you would nearly run you mad."
"Are you threatening or blackmailing your father?" Anthony replied, walking over to Leonardo.
"The two, depends on how you translate it." Leonardo replied with tight jaws.
He left him on the shore, and Don Anthony received a call which he picked with immediate effect.
"The goods arrived. Of course Monika tried her best, busy trust my spawns. Also, I got two additional members, so it was smooth..."
He kept talking about the shipments till he was out of the shore.
A minute later, Lissa arrived at that shore in a boat.
Even when she was still on the boat, rowing, she heard what father and son were discussing cos their voices were loud.
She heard everything.
She got down from the boat, standing beside the water.
Her fingers went into her free hair, and pains shot into her from her wounded back.
She badly needs a doctor, but she kept brushing it off.
Ivanna and Robert are really receiving the tattoo? Joining the clan?
Her teeth gritted.

[Market]
When Leonardo arrived, he met everyone eagar to leave already.
They waited for him cos they were sure he would return.
Sandra is here already, too.
With dripping clothes and hair, he walked past Ivanna and Robert who're both sitting on the ground.
The female lower mobsters were eating him with their eyes, literally. Wetly like this, he's deadass cûnty.
"The goods?" He asked.
"In the trunks, neatly." Bobby replied, sucking his tongue.
"And Monika came? What does that wittch look like?" Bacardi asked.
"She came, on the bridge. Her face is nothing remarkable. Sandra didn't tell you?" Leonardo replied, getting himself a stick of cigarette.
"I was too busy attending to Lissa on the shore, so I didn't get to see Monika's face. Lissa got shot." Sandra replied immediately.
"And where is she?" Leonardo asked.
"Probably on the water. After you entered the water, she followed up in a boat," Sandra said.
"Let's leave a car for Lissa, the rest of us can leave in the other available cars." Bobby said.
"No one's leaving without Issa," Leonardo flatly replied, and Ivanna spranged up immediately.
"You can't hold everyone down just because of your whore. My brother is down, bleeding and needs treatment, but you're saying—"
"No one's leaving without Lissa. Sure you heard it the first time, your ears aren't dysfunctional." He muttered.
Ivanna snapped.
"You're a—"
"A what?" He came closer—too closer that he almost knocked into her.
She shifted back.
"Don't get too close," she muttered.
"Say it, a what?" He came close again, closer than the first.
She quickly stepped back too, no idea where she's going but she kept walking backwards.
Despite her average height, he was looking down at her as he intentionally invaded her space repeatedly, planting himself and following her as she moved back.
"Talk! A what?" He demanded.
"I'm not—"
"Say it!" He cut her off again.
She moved back once more, and her back met with someone before she spoke up angrily.
"Leave me alone!!"
Leonardo smiled, bringing his cigar to his lips. The smokes from it seemed to clear up his smile.
"That mouth of yours should be used cautiously, otherwise I'll make you get on your knees and show you how to use it properly again." He smirked before leaving her.
Bobby and Bacardi are watching with low crazy chuckles.
Sandra just drank beer, and Robert is still on the ground.
Ivanna turned around, seeing the person her back met is Nino.
"Sorry..." She said.
"It's fine, Vanna." He replied.
She instantly gulped. That's Hayden's pet name for her.
"No. Just call me Ivanna." She said.
"Sure, Ivanna." Nino smiled, looking at her arm wound shortly.
Lissa finally appeared, looking drained from the gunshot.
The moment she saw Leonardo, she stopped walking and lost all balance.
Before she could fall, Leonardo was with her.
She fell into his arms, and he took her into the first car.
They drove off with their batch, then the other batches started packing themselves in the cars too.
They lost three mobsters in the fight, and they carried the three bodies along with them.
Monika's gangsters bodies are eight—five in the marketplace, and the other three that were killed by Ivanna inside the shore building.
They all lay dead in the cold as the cars drove off.
--
[Crimson Cave]
Monika has been sitting silently in her hall since she arrived with her gang some minutes ago.
She didn't talk, she just sat there, lost in imaginations.
She could have poisoned Leonardo earlier. She could have hurt him to death and distract the mobsters with his body then steal the goods, but the shooter girl ruined that.
Who the hell is she??
Why did she know all angles and points to shoot from, shooting as if she's more than one.
She did multitasking without getting a brain spin. It's rare.
Bradshaw came in with the info she asked about her, and Monika quickly snatched the profile papers.
"Ivanna Cooper?"
"Yes, one of the thieves who was caught by them. Her brother was at the mission too." Bradshaw replied, dropping Roberts profile on the desk.
Monika checked it out.
"Robert Cooper?"
"Yes. He killed one of our men in the market." Bradshaw said.
Monika dropped Robert's profile and picked Ivanna's again.
"Their dead junior sister was your girlfriend, you should know things about them even without investigation." She said.
"Ivanna was a stuntwoman before she was captured. She worked in action movie productions. She was good at stunts, but she was barely used cos she lacked connections." Bradshaw explained.
"Stuntwoman? That explains her swiftness... interesting." Monika chuckled, releasing a sigh.
"And you know what's more interesting, Leader?" Moo entered.
Bradshaw and Monika faced the jezebel-like lady.
"Hayden Woods, our new addition is her boyfriend. Best friends turned lovers, cliche but cute." Moo said.
"Good. Very good." Monika smiled.

[Trap Room]
When Hayden opened his eyes and found himself in the stuffed, but big dark room, he was startled.
He rushed to his feet, looking around and studying the formation.
Definitely it's an electric room cos there are naked wires everywhere.
One wrong move, he'd get shocked, so he stilled his legs.
Sweat rushed out of his pores, and his palms went balled.
He could remember getting chased by the cops, getting in Moo's truck, and then blackout.
Moo must have done something to him, but where the hell is he?
"Where am I!!!' she screamed.
As if answering to his voice, the door clicked open, and Moo slid in.
Smiling creepily as usual, she took slow steps towards him.
"You locked me here?" Hayden muttered.
"This is where new stubborn members spend their first few days. If you remain a good boy till tomorrow, you might meet Leader. Leader likes you even without meeting you yet." Moo replied.
She took the last step closer and raised her hand to touch his chin with her index, but he moved his face away quickly.
Moo smiled again.
"You ruined my life, you ruined me with no chance for repair." He said, his eyes helpless.
"No. I helped you, Hayden. In this life, you can only meet people like me once, and when you do, you can't escape. You were bound to belong in this cave from the beginning." Moo replied, rounding him.
Hayden's palms balled harder.
"I chose you for a whole lotta reasons, but you know the most interesting one? The fact that your late parents were both fighters. They even owned a deadly fighting ring in New Orleans. You only moved here after their death, and I refuse to believe you didn't learn one or two from them. I'll explore you, Hayden." Moo laughed, stepping back.
Hayden's lips pressed.
"I'll bring you food in the morning, and till then...have fun alone here." She waved two fingers at him.
She left the room, and the automated door closed behind her.
Hayden unfolded his fists, swallowing saliva.

[House Of Esposito, Roses Sanctuary]
It was past 12am when the mission goers started returning.
Felicia sat in the sanctuary, patiently expecting any kind of news at all.
A low maid entered.
"Donna, we moved Island to the Healthood like you ordered, but the doctor said her skin is beyond treatment. She'd have to maintain the leopard look for the rest of her life."
"We can't use bleaching agents to bleach away the sulphur candle marks?" Felicia queried.
"The doctor didn't mention that," the maid replied.
"Tell the doctor to come see me at daybreak," Felicia said.
"Yes, Donna."
The maid left, and Don Anthony came inside.
"Felly—"
"No, don't say it. I know what you're gonna say; the mission went smoothly, Leo won as usual, and the Cooper siblings survived." Felicia interrupted him.
"Add this last statement—i'm gonna be adding them to the mob. They'll receive the dragon tattoo." Don Anthony replied.
"What!" Felicia gasped.
Anthony sat, relaxing.
"I watched their performance, especially the Ivanna girl, it was impressive. She was alone against ten gangsters from Crimson Cave, all that without proper tutelage? Wasting her would be stupid."
"But, Thony—"
"Felly, this is decided," Anthony looked up instantly. "The Cooper siblings are a part of the mob."
Felicia left the sanctuary angrily, and Anthony sighed.
He called the kitchen for a drink, and after he dropped the call, Sandra entered the sanctuary.
"You didn't do much at the shore, Sandra." Anthony said.
"Lissa was wounded! I was attending to her!" Sandra claimed.
"I watched everything from the second shore, and I know you shot Lissa with your gun. Why? To gain attention. Top Girl, Top Girl, are you tired of that title? Should I take it from you and give it to Ivanna?" Anthony said sternly.
"Over my dead body! So because she impressed you in tonight's mission, you're already pondering on making her the Top Girl to replace me? Yes I shot Lissa but maybe you're getting old and didn't see it well! It was a mistake! Look, dad. You'll only make me hate this Ivanna girl and her brother more! Stop this!" Sandra shouted impatiently.
"Here's your drink, Don." A maid from the kitchen brought the Budweiser in a tray.
"To the Penthouse, drop it in my gazebo." Don Anthony replied.
The maid obeyed, taking the tray to the Penthouse.
Don Anthony followed without replying Sandra again.
Sandra carried a pot of roses and smashed it angrily.
"I'll pay mother for it tomorrow," she mumbled, panting.
From the sanctuary other door, she sighted Nino going to the Healthood, and she walked to that door quickly, staring at him from there.
--
[Healthood]
Island's case is the talk of the mobsters tonight.
Those around the hood are either laughing or grinning, discussing the leopard skin girl Island.
No mobster has seen her after her punishment, but according to the maids who took her to the hood, she really has leopard prints on her skin now, and it's hideous.
Robert is also inside the hood.
He came with Ivanna and Nino to get his stab wound treated.
The doctor already finished treating him, so wore his shirt back.
"Wish I could see Island right now, I'd have a good laugh." Nino said.
"Doesn't she have a crush on you? It's very obvious." Ivanna replied.
"Like I care," Nino shrugged, and Robert laughed.
"But what candle leaves leopard prints on a human skin?" Ivanna wondered loudly.
"It's one of Sir Leo's torture tools. I dunno how me makes these diabolical things, but they're black sulphuric candles or so..." Nino muttered.
Ivanna went silent.
"Is there anything he doesn't know how to do?" Robert wondered.
"Nothing. He's good with computers too," Nino replied, demonstrating by pressing his fingers in the air as if he's pressing a keyboard.
"Enough, can we go see Hilda?" Ivanna replied, irritated.
They jointly left the ward for Hilda's ward, but the woman was already deeply asleep in bed.
"We'll come tomorrow, then." Ivanna said, leading them out.
"You guys want midnight snacks? I'll get some from the kitchen. We can snack while duelling" Nino asked.
"Of course," Robert replied.
As they exited, Hilda's eyes opened in bed. She wasn't asleep.
She only pretended.
Her throat bobbed as she remembered Penny's words.
--
[Leonardo's Citadel]
"Bacardi and Bobby didn't return, they went straight to the warehouse at Michigan to set the shipments." A mob guard told Leonardo on phone.
He's standing in his relaxation room, his telephone to his ear.
"A no-brainer, any other news I should know about tonight?" He asked instantly.
"The Don is serious about the siblings initiation. He told the tattooist to get ready for tomorrow already, then the President invited you to—"
"Send all info to my memo, in a minute." Leonardo cut him off.
"Yes sir,"
The call ended, and Leonardo returned inside the bedroom where Lissa lay weakly.
He brought her here instead of the Healthood.
Since she has stopped losing blood, she's gonna rest for a while before he gets the estate doctor to attend to her.
She's currently asleep on her stomach, so he left the bedroom as soon as he entered.
He had a quick reminisce of the bridge gunshots from Ivanna, and he made a indecipherable face.
The gunshots replayed wildly and loudly in his ears.
The tear he got from Monika's nails is still fresh in his arm, so he brought his fingers to it, pressing the wound down very hard.
No pain, but it gave him flashbacks. Flashbacks of her whippings.
Ivanna's whippings.
He laughed shortly like a maniac as the flashbacks kept coming, and it felt like he was getting newly whipped as he stood there, pressing till blood dripped down his arm.
His fingers turned bloody with his own blood, and when he stopped pressing, he sighed.
"You're a bloody insane bî+ch, Leo." He told himself.
Then his phone buzzed. A text from Bacardi.
When he checked, his brows creased, and he left the citadel immediately.
Shortly after he left, Lissa came out of the bedroom, looking really pale. She bent her figure as she walked, and even this pale face made her look more cruel, like a serpent.
She went to the glass wall and stood there silently to watch where Leonardo is heading to.
Meanwhile, when Leonardo got out of the front door, he met Penny waiting with Emma the maid.
"Lalissa got shot, and she's with you. I've been waiting here to see her since long." Penny said, wanting to enter the still-open door.
Leonardo closed it, and the woman looked up with a frown.
"You can go see her when I finally transfer her to the Healthood. I'm not allowing you into my place." He said and left them there.
Emma was quiet, but Penny smiled ecstatically.
"Did he just get possessive of my girl?"
Then... Emma broke her silence.
"The Cooper siblings are climbing high, I can imagine how angry Miss Lissa is right now."
Penny sighed, getting her phone.
"Lalissa was right, it's hightime her father came back. Taking thieves as a part of the mob has never happened before. My husband has to come back and speak sense into the Don."
She dialled a number.
--
[Cooper Siblings Apartment]
Nino brought the snacks as promised, but even the snacks here are weird.
There's none that the siblings have tasted before, but they're all baked with flour and eggs and other unknown ingredients.
The only exception is the cake, and even that one is sugarless, but delicious though.
Robert used the knife and cut a part of the cake to munch.
As they ate, they talked.
"I heard the Don talked good about you for the first time tonight," Nino said suddenly.
"He might hate us, but he sure doesn't hate talent," Ivanna shrugged.
"And you need to see how Robert stabbed one of Monika's gangsters repeatedly. I was intrigued." Nino said again, his hand meeting with Ivanna's had inside the snack bowl.
"I can be mad, too. t's just terminal," Robert replied. "So we're becoming a part of the mob?"
"Probably, after more months of training..." Nino sighed.
He dropped the snack he's holding before talking seriously.
"Vanna, you're—"
"It's Ivanna, I told you." Ivanna corrected seriously.
"Right now, I do not care. Till when are you gonna pretend you're fine! I've waited enough for you to speak up but you're not ready to say Monika's poison-laced bullet grazed your arm!" Nino snapped.
"What!" Robert spranged up.
Ivanna looked shocked for a minute, then she looked at her slightly wounded arm before standing.
"I'll be fine,"
"No you won't be fine!" Nino scolded.
"Tell me it's not the poison-laced bullet, please." Robert said breathlessly.
"Now isn't the time to affirm. We have to get to the estate doctor right now and find a temporary solution first!" Nino took Ivanna's hand.
"Nino, it's not—"
Before she could protest, he was already leading her out, not giving her the chance to talk.
But getting to the door, they opened it to see Leonardo standing there like dark sin—blank and perilous.
He said just two words...
"Follow me," then he started leaving.
Those two words were directed to Ivanna, for sure.
"She's wounded, I'll get her to the hood first, sir." Nino spoke.
Leonardo was on his third step away when he heard that statement.
His eyeballs rolled up, and he retracted those three steps by two.
In another minute, he was already holding Nino's throat in the middle of his palm, choking him.
"You do not speak when I speak or even after I speak! I like your professionalism, but you will swallow spit whenever I talk! You will not try to push back my orders! Do you hear me!!" He yelled.
As he choked with sudden anger, Nino was dying, and the eyes of the siblings are both wide.
"Stop it!" Ivanna shouted.
"Nino!" Robert added.
"Stop!" Ivanna shouted again, but trying to sell apple to an apple tree?
That's exactly what her shouts were like—useless.
Sensing the density of the situation and Nino's life that's slipping away..
Consumed by anger and her hatred for this man, she snapped so bad.
She went to the table and picked the cake knife.
Three steps—just three, was all it took to get back to him.
With hateful ferociousness, she thrusted the cake knife into Leonardo's chest, stabbing him.
Nino slipped away from his hold immediately, and his body crumbled.
"Nino!" Robert caught him.
Ivanna's hand is still holding the knife to Leonardo's chest, and blood is draining to the ground.
Tap. Tap.
Their eyes shared the same redness, almost the same madness.
"My arm wound isn't from Monika's bullet, i got the cut from my own gun barrel so stop being a bîtch, and leave us alone!!" She spat.
Leonardo's head went to the side, and that look of intrigue mixed with profane insanity in his eyes.
He's not amazed by the pawn in front of him. Instead, he's amazed by the ting of what he's feeling inside.
Pain.
A very little pain throbbed somewhere in his chest from the stab, so she held her hand with the knife, pushing it deeper into himself.
TBC.
