★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★

She felt his presence even before she saw his face. It hung thick in the air, ground, all-over the towering atmosphere. The scent of doom and petals, aura so cold that it made her bones shake, countering her warmth.

Her heart responded to it with unhealthy, fast beats, echoing in her ears which are currently getting beaten in the shells by the raindrops.

"Ry," his name echoed from her lips the moment her eyes caught his pointed chin, and that sped everything up till her eyes reached his full face—his eyes, staring down at her. She could see the dark emotions written all-over them.

Her heart just slammed harder, rattling her ribcages.

"Ry" came his name again, as if she couldn't believe what her eyes are seeing.

"Miss me?" He smiled, and when she saw those dimples, she reached for his face, touching them and sniffling.

"Are you... real?"

"Sorry I kept you waiting, Shayla." He muttered, voice as deep as always.

Her insides responded to the deepness, too.

It's indeed him, her partner.

She jumped on him immediately, not sparing any second anymore.

Legs and arms went around him, and he dropped the umbrella, his arms going wrapped around her, too. The small body he missed.

Her face went to the crook of his neck to stay, and her sniffling continued as the rain wet them both.

She didn't say anything, didn't breath anything to his ears. She just stayed there like a baby, as if wanting to eat him, or alternatively enter his skin.

Ryker stroked the back of her neck, his nose resting on her skin too, her warm scent awakening his mind and soul, unravelling his thirst.

He feels alive again, his blood began running in his system, again.

He didn't try making her talk, didn't bother opening her mouth. He knew she needed as much of his presence as possible, so he kept it like that.

He vanished with her.

[West Palace]

The breaking of the orb felt like a dream, surreal.

Everyone is at a standstill now. Even the wounded ones who were on the ground already stood.

Their shocked eyes stared at the shattered orb below the rails.

Zeke looks the most shocked.

He prepared the most for today, and now it's...

"What exactly is going on?" Winona spoke up.

Faye transformed back to her real form nakedly, and Blaise quickly went down beside her, covering her with his large coat.

"Why...did the...why did the orb shatter?" Esme stuttered.

"This probably isn't the real orb! They still have the real one inside!" Granny Tara accused.

"Oh shut up, Tara! You already act brainless, don't make it worse by talking brainlessly too!" Astor attacked her.

Tara's fists curled.

"Feel free to go inside everywhere in this West Palace. Enter the tunnels and wall vents, there's no orb anywhere. The one we stole from you is the broken one, meaning the orb was never real in the first place!" Faye barked from the ground.

"Correct!" Blaise supported.

Kasia chuckled suddenly, facing Zeke who's still at a loss for words.

"Can't talk anymore? You've been drawing power from the fake orb for how many years? 300+?" She laughed loudly, holding her side.

"The more I get to know this demigod, the more impressed I am. Why would women not want him? I mean...he's everything. Why would men not bow? He's everything once again! He fooled the great Zeke Millions." Astor laughed too.

Zeke's eyes are still on the shattered orb, and truly, he looks defeated, looks fooled and deceived.

"Sweetheart, say something.." Esme came to his side.

"Zeke, you can't keep quiet forever!" Tara said by his other side.

Without replying any of them, Zeke stormed out of the palace.

Esme looked at Kasia and Winona before exiting after him.

Tara glanced at Astor and Faye with warring eyes before leaving too.

Kasia fell on the ground voluntarily, gasping out with her bleeding mouth.

"Fake orb? For more than 300 years? How exactly did it happen? All our efforts wasted in vain?" She gulped with shock as she spoke.

"How has the orb been energizing the Millions If it's fake?" Blaise said from the ground.

"Ryker wets it with his blood. His blood has been supplying it with power, I think." Winona said, sitting sprawled on a survivor couch.

"His blood supplied them with energy for that long, now imagine how it's gonna be if it was the real FrostOrb, unlimited power." Astor said calculatedly, exchanging a secret stare with Faye.

"We're missing the real problem here. We have to get the real FrostOrb before the East gets their hands on it." Kasia said.

"It doesn't have to necessarily be the FrostOrb" Astor said craftily.

"What do you mean?" Faye stood from the ground, dragging the coat tighter to herself.

"Shayla. She has a FireStone which holds as much power as the FrostOrb. We either get the FrostOrb, or FireStone." Astor clarified.

"But getting either of them would hurt the owners, aren't we on the demigod's side anymore?" Blaise said.

"Demigod's side?" Astor scoffed. "That bastard will never support anyone that's not himself. Read my lips."

"Right. From now on, we stop trying to get the demigod's attention cos it's obvious we'll never have it. We'll start fighting for ourselves no matter who gets hurt." Kasia declared.

"Supported, I'll support any motion at all at this rate." Winona said from the couch, giving Astor a suspicious look.

The hit Kasia received from Zeke during the fight, Astor could have counterattacked to stop it, but he didn't, and Winona saw that.

She looked at him again, battling questions in her head.

[Fire Palace]

Shayla was right about the pool water. Xena has been healing since she had her bath inside.

Her body wounds from the whiplashes are gone, but the slave brandings on her forehead didn't heal.

She left the pool after draining the water she used, and surprisingly, Shayla's bedchamber is open. She entered, gasping at how wide, luxurious and rich it is.

She imagined herself with these riches for a second, and she smiled.

Shayla was once a slave who was bought and then became a goddess, so why can't she achieve better too?

She shook her head and entered her closet, gasping again. She covered her mouth.

There are different hangers, wardrobes for different type of outfits. Robes, modern womanly wears, casual, s+y night-wears and lingeries.

Footwears like slippers, sneakers and heels shoes, each with treasures attached to them. Even the slippers are luxurious.

Then the jewelry glasses. They're insane, and Xena swallowed hard.

She didn't get to enter Shayla's room at all when she was still staying at the Heartless Tower in East Palace.

Is this how her suite was like back then too?

Did Ryker prepare all of this riches for her before his death?

She swallowed again, picking a soft furry gown to wear.

She quickly left the closet before she'd choke to death with the luxury.

She put on the gown and sat in front of Shayla's bedroom mirror, checking herself out as she brushed her hair after using some of the hair supplements.

She smiled before she knew it when her mind remembered a flashback.

            [Weeks Ago, City Tower]

It's the day Xena was captured by the evil twins —the Feast day.

They brought her here, tied up and bonded. She was dumped by the wall side, and Sadie was determined to kill her that night.

"Her brother killed mother, it's only right if she goes to hell too. Soren there's machete in the storeroom, right? Get it for me, I'm going to butcher her and cook her flesh, I swear to Satan, I'll eat her flesh!"

Sadie started going down the tower, obviously to go get the cutlass, but Soren blocked her.

"What? Don't tell me you're going to start defending her again! Apart from mother's death, you saw what Shayla did to father's face! Father might be a scum for chosing Esme, but he's still father!" Sadie glared.

"Killing her won't be entertaining enough," Soren sighed, backing the wall nonchalantly.

"What do you mean?" Sadie frowned.

"Let's keep her here, and torture her till she actually dies when she won't be able to take it anymore." Soren explained.

                  [Present Time]

Xena smiled at her reflection in front of the mirror.

The slave brandings on her forehead means nothing to her right now.

What matters is that—the torture was for her own good. Sadie would have killed her, but Soren stopped her by suggesting the torture which is why she's still alive till now.

Soren is still redeemable and soft. If she gets to spend more time with him, she'd change him.

Besides, he has potential cos it seems Shayla's fire didn't work on him.

She smiled again, rising from the vanity chair.

Luckily, she found a mobile on the foot of the bed which she took.

Knowing her father's line offhand saved her. She dialled him, twice, but he didn't pick.

If he was ok, he'd have been searching for her and would have probably found her at the city tower no matter what cos of their daughter-father bond.

The fact that she's not sensing him anywhere only means something bad happened to him.

She positioned the phone between her fingers again, typing...

"Pa, please be fine. Where are you?"

Sending that, she left the room to go find food wherever it is in that palace

[Human Realm]

Cheyenne and Sage are still on the run, chasing father and daughter with no win.

When they arrived at the overpass, Cheyenne sensed them ahead.

They chased further, but they lost sense of the hairpin scent.

Rumi must have noticed the chase, cos by the time they arrived at the end of the road, no Rumi, no Anatoli.

Cheyenne and Sage got out of the car, both panting.

"They can't be this fast without any help. This is human realm, not Luminaria where they know everything to do." Cheyenne said.

"You mean Caspian is helping them?" Safe faced her.

"It's just what I feel. Might be true, mightn't be." Cheyenne backed the car door, her eyes catching the city billboard.

Caspian Yusluv is there, modelling for his own company—COLD-HEARTED—that's the name of his f+ked up company.

"First time I'm seeing that d+kface on a billboard, he's probably dancing around his castle right now." Cheyenne muttered.

Caspian didn't spend one minute on the billboard before Ryker's face took over.

He's not even modelling, he just leaned on an elevator wall in the picture, wearing a red suit and dangling male earrings.

BACK AGAIN was sprinkled on top, and it never left the billboard.

Cheyenne and Sage exchanged knowing glances immediately.

"He's back!" They chorused.

They nearly got into the car, but they stopped themselves, encapsulating their excitement.

"No. We have to find father and daughter first and console the families of the dead securities." Cheyenne said.

"Right, but boss..." Sage groaned.

"Get in the car, don't be a whinny kid!" Cheyenne scolded, and he immediately slipped inside the car.

--

Truly, father and daughter had help, and that's why they didn't get caught.

They were running on the tar when a car suddenly crossed them.

A powerful-looking man entered the car with them, and based on what they've been hearing about him, they couldn't possibly turn him down.

They'd surely be needing him.

Rumi covered her hair with a cap already since the hairpin scent is coming from there.

They're out of the express now, and they're going on with the direction the stranger is providing.

He sat at the back of the car, and Rumi stole glances at him seldomly.

He's too much.

Rings on all ten fingers, multiple hoop earrings on both ears, he even pierced his lips, nose , and the top of his brows.

His tattoos are madly dark.

His eyes are heterochromic, and his presence filled up the car.

"You have something to say to me, pretty girl?" He talked, referring to Rumi when their eyes met through the front mirror.

"You're Caspian Yusluv, the popular competitor." Rumi said.

"Next time, don't use the word competitor. I'm here to take Ryker's place, you could call me the right one." Caspian replied arrogantly from the back, voice sinful.

"And I know you both..." He continued, leaning forward suddenly.

"Anatoli Morozov, and Rumi Morozov. There's a twin at Luminaria, Xena Morozov."

Anatoli stopped the car immediately, and they both looked back at the man who's now laughing dangerously, his nose ring glittering.

"You know Luminaria? You're not human too?" Anatoli asked.

"I'm human, just a different kind of human who knows everything he's supposed to know. I have spies in Luminaria though." Caspian laughed again, touching Rumi's cheek.

"But you...you're hot as f+k" he bit his lip.

Rumi slapped his hand away, and his laughter stopped.

"Careful, you don't slap my skin like that, doll." He muttered.

"How come you have spies in Luminaria?" Anatoli asked.

"You Luminarians travel to the human realm using the descension ladder. Eligible humans can also travel there using the ascension ladder, you didn't know?" Caspian gasped dramatically.

"But only few special humans like me know about it." He continued.

"Why did you enter our car?" Anatoli asked.

"Cos I wanna help. You both want his wealth, and I want his name wiped off totally from existence. Same goal, same goal." Caspian grinned, relaxing back on his chair.

A few more minutes of taking directions from him, Anatoli drove the car into a wide red gate, in the middle of Moscow.

COLDHEARTED HAREM.

Right from the gate, they could already see totally naked females lining up and begging PICK ME FOR THE NIGHT! PICK ME!

Anatoli couldn't close his mouth, and Rumi kept snickering.

Caspian jumped out of the car, plugging black vibrators in the coochie of of two of the females.

He opened their mouths and spit saliva inside.

They gladly swallowed the spit, licking their lips.

Then the other hundreds of ladies surrounded him, begging him to spit in their mouths too.

"He really deserves the name—the debauchery pig" Rumi muttered.

"I know, right? But seems we've found the right helper." Anatoli laughed, giving her a look.

"What if I put a obeisance spell on him to take his wealth first?" Rumi smiled cunningly, facing him.

"Tell me, when did you even discover your spell casting ability?" Anatoli asked, still smiling.

"I was 15, at the motherless camp." Rumi started.

               [Motherless Camp]

As the youngest motherless child here, Rumi is prone to bullying.

No matter how hard she hid, her blonde hair always gave her out, but she's a stubborn one, so their beatings means nothing.

She's always wounded.

In the camp, they always fight for food, for survival.

There's only breakfast, no dinner or lunch, so at breakfast, you make sure you eat or go hungry till the next day.

That fateful morning, the coordinators poured the tiny pieces of bread on the ground for the kids as usual, then they opened their sleep room gates.

The kids poured out, all falling on the bread pieces to pick their food.

Some picked close to five, some seven, and a lot couldn't pick any.

Those ones started crying.

Rumi picked three, and she settled down to have her breakfast when the bully chief arrived with her minions.

Rumi stood, drew back and slammed her own head on the wall, surprising the bullies. Her blood stained her face, and she let out a laugh.

"You wanna bully again? Do it! But that won't make me give you the breads!" She shoved the three short pieces in her mouth at the same time.

The bullies all lunged for her, and she instinctively cast a spell with her subconscious, wishing the bullies would start beating each other.

It worked.

They faced each other, and the fight was so brutal that even the coordinators couldn't stop them.

It's a death fight, they didn't stop fighting till they all dropped dead.

               [Present Time]

"You've been great, right from time." Anatoli stroked Rumi's hair.

"Get down, visitors!" Caspian shouted in front of the car where he's still spitting. He snapped his fingers loudly at them.

"But...don't try to use your spell on him. He doesn't seem like a ordinary human." Anatoli said.

"I know, just kidding," Rumi replied.

They got down from the car, following Caspian's lead.

The red gate closed, and the figure in red cloak appeared in front of it, staring at the gate for long before leaving down the lane.

[Luminaria, Millions Penthouse]

Sadie and Rivera stayed with Soren throughout his healing process.

They had tried healing him with their conjoined abilities. No results.

But surprisingly, Soren healed on his own. The stab Shayla gave him on the arm with her sword—it healed after he stayed in bed for an hour.

Then he was able to sit up.

"Ren!" Sadie knelt in front of him.

"I'm fine..." He stood, walking shirtlessly to his closet to get a jacket.

"You just healed from her sword stab on your own without me. Earlier, her ruthless fire didn't burn you too, and you're not gonna explain?" Sadie demanded, blocking him.

"What should I explain when I'm not understanding anything too? Just leave me alone." He gruffly replied.

"Let him rest," Rivera pulled Sadie out of the way, and Soren entered the closet.

"I'm so restless about this, now that I have Soren back on my side, he can't go astray again." Sadie chewed her mouth wall.

"Maybe he really doesn't know about it. He looked surprised earlier when the fire didn't work on him." Rivera said.

"You think?" Sadie faced her.

Meanwhile, Mercury is by the door, listening.

She saw when they brought Soren in wounded, so she has been worried, but now that he's fine, she's fine.

She strolled to the living room where Pearl sat, eating fried potatoes and pickles.

Silently, she sat there, fiddling with a pillow.

"So you're just a soul shifter, no other ability. Can you even teleport?" Pearl asked.

Mercury didn't miss the mockery undertone, but she didn't talk back.

As expected, Pearl wasn't done.

"I wonder how your mother became a godslayer though," she leaned forward on her chair, glaring. "Did she steal her way in? Just the way she stole another person's husband?"

Mercury spranged up, and in a flash, she was with her.

She dragged Pearl up from the couch by her sleeves, shoving her face into hers, nose flaring.

"Feel free to call my mother any name for how she married Zeke, but you condemning her godslaying ability? I won't sit and watch! She practiced for months, cultivated alone without sleeping, she got it fair and square so shut up!!"

Pearls hand found Mercury's hair. She singlehandedly pulled out many strands in the middle, then she kicked Mercury to the ground.

Mercury touched the middle of her head, feeling the baldness over there.

She screamed.

"My hair! My hair!!!"

Pearl laughed, dangling the hair she's holding.

"You shouldn't have shoved your face closer, and this!" She raised the hair. "Is for how you tried to cast my soul into a pig at Mount Zhitomir!"

"You witch!!! My hair!!!" Mercury howled loudly.

"Oh... look at that!" Sadie came out with Rivera, both laughing.

"We have a bald one in the house," Rivera added.

Esme, Granny Tara and Zeke entered, and the laughter seized.

"Mercury! Oh my!" Esme knelt beside her, eyes wide.

She looked up, seeing the hair Pearl is holding.

"You!!!" She screamed, standing brusquely to go attack.

Zeke pulled her back quickly.

"Leave me! I'm going to kill her!" Esme screamed again.

"You might be a godslayer, but you don't have the sword yet. For now, she's stronger than you, I don't want you to get hurt." Zeke said.

"Then how are you going to regrow my daughter's strands!" Esme tore free from his grasp.

"Granny will handle it," Zeke said.

"Don't take chances, father. I'm a goddess, and the damages I make isn't reparable, especially now that I'm two." Pearl smiled, rubbing her stomach shortly before going inside.

"What does that witchy-woo even mean by that?" Sadie muttered.

"I'm still trying to grasp," Rivera shook her head.

"For now, prepare for Jude's burial tonight, and everyone prepare for soul sucking. After everything, we have a family meeting to attend." Granny Tara instructed.

Esme is still checking Mercury's hair out, and Mercury is still crying.

"Wait...the orb! Didn't y'all leave to get our orb?" Sadie gasped, snapping her fingers in remembrance.

"There's a problem, and it'd be discussed at the meeting," Zeke resounded.

"Cool, there's something with Soren, guess we'd discuss at the meeting too." Sadie replied.

[Ice Palace]

Blue. Ice. Cold. Chills.

It's all this place entails, and it's really the most beautiful palace of all the demi-creature palaces.

Ranging from the ice gate to the ice floors which didn't stretch to the rooms though. Spirit animals like polar bears and mice and cats, all crafted from ice residuals.

Instead of volcanoes like the Fire Palace, there are avalanche portions and huge ice rocks with flowing ice water in-between.

There are so many waterside pavilions too, and the pools are countless, but the pools are exceptionally warm for Ryker, so the pool rooms are off limits to him alone. Just like his Phoria when he was still in the Heartless Tower.

He's currently inside with Shayla though, both stark n+ked.

Shayla is still curled like a baby around him in the pool, and thanks to their auras, their parts in the pool carry their constitutions.

Despite their gumming n+ked bodies, her part is cold and his part is warm.

Her face is still into his neck, and she has kissed that place till it left a hickey that's not erasable.

Ryker's hands rubbed her bare back, back and forth gently while pouring deep, deep kisses on her hair.

Silence wrapped around the place, so the sound of the flowing ice water outside is so clear, and the sounds of their breathings.

"Are you going to stay like this forever?" Ryker finally talked.

"Yes, I'm not letting you go." She whispered, and he smiled.

"I missed you too, your highness. It was madness with the two weeks." He whispered back.

"Where were you?" She asked, still not looking up.

"I was stuck in a dark universe I know nothing about, it was like a wormhole, and I couldn't move, couldn't live, I was just there." He replied, fingering her scalp gently.

"You knew this was going to happen? You told me to wait for you in the rain." She said, licking his neck.

"I had a hunch the moment I felt poison in my system, and I knew it was going to be deadly, requiring that I left for a few weeks. Your soul connects with mine mostly in the rain... Warm and cold, and you also cried, so I was released from wherever I was locked in the moment the rain thrummed you. It's like a ritual." He explained.

Now, she lifted her face from his neck, looking at his face.

Ryker held her face in his palms, chuckling.

"I miss this small egg of a face."

"You have no idea how hard it was for the past few weeks. I even went to Eternus but the seer said nothing. I had to come back here and cry. I had my period yesterday and it was hellish, I did it alone without you. Cheyenne and Sage always made sure I practiced, and you dunno how much it hurts to keep a calm face in front of them and then go behind them to cry." She sniffled.

"I'm sorry," he repeated.

"You say sorry so easily," she wrapped her arms around him again, kissing his beautiful wet fingers.

"That's because you're the only one who can take that word out of my life. You have no idea how much power you hold over me..." He said, resting his forehead on hers.

He did their nose kiss by rubbing his nose on hers, and she chuckled.

"Don't do that again. Don't disappear on me, or I won't ever forgive you." She muttered.

"Sure," he stroked her cheek, and her head went to his chest.

"But the poison...where did it come from?" She asked.

"Can we not talk about that? I don't wanna ruin this mood." He replied.

"Promise to tell me later," she looked up with puppy eyes.

"Promise" he replied, sliding an hand down to her throat gently.

Second hand held her chin with the fragility of an egg.

Their pink lips were about to crash for a hungry all-consuming kiss when Shayla's lids went up.

"Xena. I left her at my palace."

"And?" He frowned.

"The fire must be making her feel uncomfortable, Even if it was Cheyenne and Sage, I have to reduce the hotness by sewing up lava rocks every hour, but her? It'd be too hard. She won't be able to hold it." She said.

"Your high—"

"Shh," She placed a finger on his lips.

The water hanging on his lashes fell with a drop. "Please. Besides, you should come do a tour at my palace too." She whispered, rubbing his lips with her thumb.

He agreed, and they both left after they dressed back up.

They didn't have to use the gate. Teleporting made them land directly inside the fire Palace.

Ryker didn't even get the chance to tour around before Xena came out of the bedchamber.

She has a apple in her mouth—one of the fruits she found in the kitchen.

At first, she looked shocked to see him back, but then she shock got replaced with hate, in a whim.

"We have to talk, Shay. Please, spare me ten minutes."

"No," Shayla rejected. "Your brother is here, you both should finish whatever it is."

"Shayla!" Ryker growled, sounding pissed. "You brought me here because you wanted peace?"

"I can't stand your fight, can you both just...talk it out?" Shayla held his face, but he peeled her hands off.

"Making up is simple so far he's ready to go on his knees and say sorry to father for burning his head!" Xena said from where she stood.

"Xena that's not the point," Shayla said.

"Then what?" Xena scoffed.

"Your Pa is a devil, and you have to listen to what Ry is—"

"No one will make me hate my father, Shay. No amount of trial will work! That man has been there for me since young, taking care of me at every chance he got, but what did Ryker do? He couldn't even find Rumi! He killed Azura to take my lifeline? So what? It's his job cos the lifeline was taken cos of him in the first place! He bought you at the auction to save me from the poisoned pool? So what? It's the least he could do after killing mother!" Xena shouted.

"And yet you were screaming my name when you were getting tortured? I might have been locked in a dark universe, but my hearing wasn't dead." Ryker muttered, his anger reddening.

"Cos it's your job to save me too! Father said saving us from evil like yourself is the bare minimum you could offer!" Xena spat back.

Ryker's eyes rolled up, the red getting deeper, madder.

"Do you have anything that belongs to your father? Hairbrush or even handkerchief. I can use it to make you travel into his memories so you'd see for yourself how evil he is." Shayla intervened.

Xena laughed.

"You'd probably trick me into fake memories just to make me hate him, but no! I'm not daft! And you... Shay... I was going to apologize for calling you a hunt dog before, but now there's no need cos you're indeed one for him. Don't try to fool me just because you have luxuries in your closet!" Xena vomited the words hatefully, throwing her apple down.

In the next flipping minute, Ryker was with Xena.

He grabbed her hostilely by the neck and levitated with her.

His fingers pressed her windpipe to her flesh, mashing it up and preparing to crush it completely with her throat bones.

His eyes cast down, chin rising and breaths so cold and harsh.

Xena coughed blood, and it wet her chin, down to her throat where it stained his hand there.

"Hunt dog?" Ryker smirked with an unforgiving gleam. "Why don't I make you become one? You already know how to communicate with animals so living with them would be easy." He spat, raising his second hand to do the deed, but Shayla levitated too, holding that hand.

"She's still your sister, don't turn her! Please... Ry..."

"Sister?" Ryker laughed shortly. "Today onwards, I do not have a sister, either Rumi or Xena! I never had a mother called Dominika who died birthing me. May she die again and again! And Anatoli? I'm going to make his death into a series for the human world to watch in theaters! Stamp my words!"

He let go of Xena, and Xena fell on the ground, holding her frozen neck and still coughing blood.

"Disowning me as your sister? Cutting ties with me? Cool! Thank you! I'll go find father, and I'll find Rumi myself! I'll find Soren too and marry into the Millions Family to shame you! I'll join any sect that's willing to kill you and Shayla! From today onwards, Shayla, we're both sworn enemies forever! You and your heartless partner!"

"So be it, Xena Morozov." Shayla replied calmly, realizing Xena is beyond saving.

She waved her hand, throwing Xena out of the palace with force.

Before she could even look beside herself, Ryker was already gone.

She vanished, too. Tracing him to the middle of Luminaria city where he stood like Satan in charge of hell.

He's already killing angrily, corpses falling lifelessly, his face and hands bloody. There are ten dead bodies on the ground already.

People are running fast for their dear lives, screaming...

"The demigod is back!"

"He's back!!!"

"The millennial ice devil is back!!"

Ryker landed in front of a bunch of them, about to freeze them down to their demise when Shayla countered him in the front. She held his two hands, pulling them down forcefully.

"Shayla!" He growled, his eyes refusing to even calm, body shaking with the highest rage form.

"Run!!" Shayla yelled at the bunch of people, and they immediately took to their heels, speeding off.

"Please...calm down. Killing innocents won't calm your anger, it won't do....mmm?" She held her face, watching as his eyes slowly became calm blue again.

"For me...can you?" She kissed his eyes, warmly.

"Firefly..." Ryker's arm rounded her waist, pulling her in.

Her lips parted soundlessly.

"From now on, anything that's not you is dead to me,not mine to care about, not mine to look at. From now on, I'm blind to everything except you. I was cruel? No. My cruelty is only just starting, today." He smirked, dragging his lips on her lashes and rubbing blood on her face from his fingers.

His voice went hush, his whisper full of insatiable hunger—for her...

"I desire you. Damn it, just you."
