Days went by, the guys were still having a tough time with their mother, but they didn't let it get them down. They were carefree, spending more time with their women. Alex had come to the mall to get a surprise gift for Naomi, browsing through the phone section in search of the perfect cell phone for her.
As he picked up one of the phones from the shelf, examining it, someone interrupted him from behind.
"Pink isn't her color," Naomi's mom said, and Alex turned to her. He was taken aback by her resemblance to Naomi. She was well-dressed, wearing expensive attire and jewelry. He wondered who she was.
"Um, hey," he said politely.
"It's such a pleasure to meet you, Your Highness," she said, her smile warm.
"Um, thank you, ma'am. But who are you?" Alex asked, curiously.
"My name is Elena," she replied, her smile still in place.
"Nice to meet you, Mrs. Elena. My name..." Alex started to introduce himself, but he was interrupted.
"Alexander Luke, the crown prince of this great kingdom, I've heard so much about you. Meeting you in person is such an honor,"
"Thank you," Alex said, observing her. "You kind of look like someone I know," he added.
"Yep, I presume you're here to shop for your girlfriend," she said, changing the subject.
"Um, yes, I want to surprise her with a phone, so I'm kind of looking for the one she'll like.
Can I help out with that?" she asked, and Alex hesitated for a while before nodding.

After some minutes, Alex and Elena came out of the shopping mall, standing in front of the car.
"Thank you for your help today," Alex said, smiling gratefully.
"You're welcome, I'm sure she'll love it," Elena replied, smiling back.
"Sure, I guess I'll be on my way now," Alex said, opening the car door.
"Okay, hope to see you around some other time," she said, and they bid each other goodbye before going their separate ways.
Meanwhile, at the company, Naomi stood in front of Diva, who was busy checking out the files on her desk. There was a stern look on Diva's face, and Naomi seemed careless about her look. She was getting tired of standing because Diva had summoned her to her office without saying a word. Naomi sighed and turned to leave, but Diva's cold voice stopped her.
"I didn't ask you to leave," she said, her voice cold and detached, without looking up. Naomi sighed, trying to control her anger, and turned to Diva.
"What exactly am I here for?" she asked, her patience wearing thin.
"Remain standing until I'm done with what I'm doing," Diva replied, still not looking up.
"I'm sorry, I don't think I have that time. I have a lot on my desk too," Naomi said, turning to leave again.
"If you step out of that door, you're fired!" Diva yelled, her anger rising. Naomi scoffed.
"Do I remind you that your father, the king, hired me, and no one, not even you, can fire me," she said, her voice firm.
Diva walked up to Naomi, both women staring hard at each other.
"I can see you've grown wings. Let me remind you of your place... you snitch!"
"Call me whatever names you want, I'm not afraid of you," Naomi replied, her eyes flashing with defiance.
"If you really think my brother will end up with you in the future, then you must be dreaming," Diva said, her voice dripping with malice.
"No, it's not a dream anymore. It's already happening. You're the one who hasn't seen it, because you're still dreaming. I advise you to wake up and face the reality in front of you,"
"Do you think you and your conniving sister will get away with stealing other people's men?" She sneered.
"You're wrong. They came to where their hearts truly belong. You're the one forcing your way into him, and what happened next, you got served," she replied, her voice confident.
"How dare you!" Diva raised her hand to slap Naomi, but Naomi held her hand quickly and squeezed it.
"Don't dare, Diva. Do you think this is the palace, where you can do whatever you want with me? But now, you won't dare," she said angrily, pushing Diva off.
"You bastard!" Diva yelled, attacking Naomi, and they started fighting, pulling each other's hair.
Due to the noise, the secretary entered and was shocked by the scene in front of her. She was confused about what to do and then ran out to seek help.
The secretary came rushing to the main building, bumping into Alex as he stepped out of the elevator.
"Woah, who's chasing after you?" he asked.
"Boss, you have to come quickly! The manager and her assistant are into a serious fight," she said, panting heavily.
"What? Where?" he asked,
"The manager's office," she replied, and Alex took off in a sprint, with the secretary following closely behind.
Naomi and Diva were still engrossed in a fierce fight, pulling each other's hair and exchanging insults. The office was already in disarray. Alex burst into the room, shocked by the scene before him. Without wasting any time, he rushed in and separated the two women, pulling them apart. Both women were panting heavily, their hair disheveled.
"What is wrong with you?" Alex yelled at Diva, angrily.
"Are you seriously asking me that when this snitch here started it?" Diva retorted.
"That's enough, Diva! You're becoming unbearable, and this is the height of it!" Alex said, his voice firm. He took Naomi's hand and walked away, leaving Diva standing alone in her office.
"Ahh!" Diva grunted angrily, picking up her phone and typing furiously on her page.
As Alex dragged Naomi along, everyone in the office turned to watch, murmuring to themselves about what was going on. Suddenly, everyone's phone beeped with an incoming message. They checked it out, and their faces fell as they saw photos of Naomi and Alex dating surface on the internet.
The comments were scathing, with everyone accusing Naomi of seducing the crown prince and snatching him away from his betrothed. Negative comments about Naomi flooded the air, and it was clear that her reputation was about to take a serious hit.
Alex and Naomi arrived at the office, and he helped her sit down on the couch. He caressed her face.
"Are you okay? Are you hurt?" he asked, his voice soft.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to..." Alex interrupted her, his finger on her lips.
"Shh, you don't need to explain yourself. I know my sister and her grumpy attitude when it comes to you," He kissed her cheek and started fixing up her hair, his touch gentle.
Meanwhile, at Nathan's company, Mia was walking to the elevator, looking weak. Every step seemed to take a toll on her, and she managed to walk while holding onto the wall to prevent herself from falling.
As she reached the elevator, she pressed the button and waited for it to open. When the doors slid open, she reeled forward, falling to the ground. But Nathan was quick enough to grab her into his arms as she lost consciousness. It turned out that he was already in the elevator when it opened.
Nathan panicked as he noticed Mia's body temperature. He carried her in his arms and closed the elevator doors, allowing the files to scatter on the floor. The elevator stopped at his office floor, and his secretary watched as he carried Mia in his arms into his office.
He entered the password to the secret room, and the door opened and closed behind them. Nathan placed Mia on the couch carefully, and she murmured in pain.
"Mia," he called out, feeling her forehead. "I've told you countless times not to work yourself too hard," he said, looking worried.
He got a bowl of warm water and a towel, soaked the towel, squeezed it out, and placed it on her forehead. He made her sleep on his lap, tenderly caring for her as she rested.
Back to Alex and Naomi, they were still chatting together on the couch.
"Are you okay now?" he asked, caressing her hair.
"Yes," she replied, feeling more at ease.
"I have a surprise for you," he said.
"Really? What could that be?" She asked, curiously.
"Hold on a sec," Alex said, moving to his desk to pick up the shopping bag. He came over and handed it to her. "Here you go."
"What's that?" Naomi asked, taking the bag from him.
"See for yourself," Alex said, still standing behind her, placing his hands on her shoulders.
Naomi quickly opened the bag and her eyes widened as she saw what was inside. She brought out the pack of phone and exclaimed,
"You got me a phone?"
"Yeah, do you like it?".
"Yes!" Naomi stood up quickly and rushed to hug him. "Thank you,"
"You're welcome," he replied, smiling.
They pulled away from each other, and Naomi opened the phone pack, amazed by the phone's color.
"Wow, I love the color. How did you know violet is my favorite color?"
"I didn't know, but I met a woman at the mall who picked this color for me,"
"Really? This is so nice,"
"I'm happy you like it,"
"Thank you," she said, pecking his lips.
"What was that?"
"A thank you gift," she replied, smiling mischievously.
"Oh, I wasn't ready," he said, grabbing her waist and pulling her closer.
"I am ready now," he said, trying to kiss her. But she pushed him off, laughing.
"Let go!" she exclaimed, running off.
"You can't run away from me," Alex said, smiling, and started chasing her around the office. Both of them laughed and played, enjoying each other's company.
Mia's eyes fluttered open, and she was met with Nathan's warm smile.
"You are awake," he said, his voice gentle as he caressed her face. Mia's head was foggy, and her body felt heavy.
"What happened?" she asked weakly, trying to sit up. Nathan helped her sit upright on the couch, his hands supporting her back.
"You got a little fever," he explained. He reached for a tablet and a glass of water on the table. "Take this," he said, offering her the medication.
"No, I'm fine."she shook her head, her eyes half-closed.
"You are not, take it." She refused again, and he smirk hinted at a playful frustration. "Hmm, I see you're not a fan of drugs," he teased.
Before Mia could react, Nathan grabbed her face and placed the tablet in her mouth. He took a sip of water and, in a surprising move, fed her the water from his mouth, diluting the medication. Mia's eyes widened in surprise as he pulled away, staring deeply into her eyes with a gentle smile. As Nathan leaned in to kiss her, she stopped him, her hand on his chest.
"Don't, you might be infected too," she said, Nathan's smile never wavered.
"Don't worry about that, my immune system is very strong," he reassured her, cupping her face as he claimed her lips softly. Mia shut her eyes, feeling the warmth and gentleness of his kiss.
His kiss demanding and passionate. Mia's lips parted and his tongue explored her mouth deepening the kiss, she felt her heart racing as she wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him closer.
