Naomi stormed back into her office, her anger still simmering from her encounter with Diva. She dropped into her chair, her eyes scanning the desk for any messages or reminders. That's when she saw it - a note scribbled on a piece of paper. She picked it up, her curiosity piqued, and read the words:

 "MEET ME AT THE ROOF."

Wondering who could have sent it, Naomi's mind began to whirl with possibilities. She decided to made her way to the roof. As she stepped out onto the rooftop, she spotted Alex sitting beside a spread of food. Her eyes widened in surprise.

"Alex!" she called out, and he waved at her to come over.

Naomi's feet seemed to move of their own accord, drawn by the tantalizing aroma of the food. As she sat down beside him, she couldn't help but stare at the mouthwatering dishes.

"You took so long before seeing my note," Alex said,

"I just got to my office and saw it. I thought it was someone else."

"Let's eat then," Alex suggested, and Naomi's stomach growled in anticipation.

"How did you get so much food?" she asked, her eyes scanning the spread.

"I placed an order," he replied. "I know you don't like eating at the canteen."

"Yeah, it's too crowded, and I hate the looks." She nodded taking a bite from her food.

They smiled at each other, and the tension in Naomi's body began to dissipate. As they ate, she couldn't help but rave about the food.

"Amazing," she said, and Alex smiled, pleased that she was enjoying it.

"Your secretary told me you went to Diva's office. Hope you're okay?"

"Not really. She's just trying to piss me off as usual." She took a sip of her water.

"I'm sorry if she's giving you a hard time," he said, his voice gentle.

"It's normal," she said, and they both chuckled.

They continued eating in comfortable silence until Alex noticed some food stuck to the side of her lips. He reached out and gently cleaned it up, his fingers brushing against her skin. Naomi was taken aback, her heart skipping a beat as she felt a flutter in her chest. She quickly turned her face away, feeling a flush rise to her cheeks. Alex smiled and continued eating, seemingly unaware of the effect his touch had on her.

Meanwhile, Mia was exiting her office when she was startled to see Nathan leaning against the wall, his arms crossed over his chest.

"Gosh, you startled me," she exclaimed, her hand flying to her heart.

"Are you going out for lunch?"

"No, I mean yes," she stammered.

"There will be no need for that," he said, grabbing her hand and pulling her toward the elevator.

Mia was caught off guard, but she didn't have time to protest as he pressed the button, still holding her hand.

"Where are we going?" she asked,

"To my lair," Nathan replied, and she was confused.

The elevator stopped, and the doors opened. He led her out, his hand still wrapped around hers. Luckily, there were no staff members around, which made Mia feel slightly more at ease. However, Nathan didn't seem to care about being seen with her.

They entered his office, and he led her to another door. He typed in his password, and the door swung open. Mia wasn't paying attention, but as the door opened, she followed him inside. The door shut behind them, and the moment they entered the room, the lights automatically turned on, illuminating the space.

Mia's breath caught in her throat as she took in the secret room. It was amazing and cozy, with incredible interior design. She felt like she had stepped into a different world.

"Woah! Is this paradise?" she asked, her voice filled with wonder.

"Maybe. This is my secret hideout when I need a long nap," he said, a smile playing on his lips.

"Really? It's beautiful. But I thought your dad owned this office before you came."

"Yep, he made this, and no one knew about it except you, me, and Alex."

"Is there a secret covenant that anyone who discloses this place will be punished?"

"Yes." He teased, Mia's eyes widened in surprise, and she stared at him, her face pale.

"What could that be?" she asked, feeling scared.

"I'm not telling ya."

"You shouldn't have brought me here then. I really don't want to get into trouble," she said, and turn to leave.

But Nathan was quick to stop her, wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her close. His face rested on her shoulder, and Mia gulped nervously, feeling his warm breath on her skin. It was hypnotizing.

"I'm just joking, there's no punishment," he said, "I brought you here so we can eat."

As he pulled away, he gestured to the table, and Mia's eyes widened in surprise. A mouthwatering meal was spread out before her, and she couldn't wait to dig in. Without wasting any time, she rushed to sit down, eager to taste the food. Nathan watched her, amused by her actions, and joined her at the table.

As the office closed, Naomi walked towards the exit door, Ben approaching her with a smile. Alex watched from the stairs, observing the scene unfold.

"Um, Ben, right?" Naomi asked,

"Yes, it's a good thing you remember my name," Ben replied.

 "Yeah."

"I was hoping you could be at the gathering today," Ben said, his eyes hopeful.

"I don't think so. I have something to do."

"Aw, it's not going to be fun without you."

 "I'm sorry."

"It's okay," he said, his smile returning. "But can I get your contact to catch up sometime?"

Naomi hesitated, unsure if she wanted to share her number. "Please," he said, his eyes locked on hers.

"Okay," she agreed, and Ben gave her his phone. He dialed her number, and she saved it in her contact list.

"Thank you," he said, taking back his phone.

 "You're welcome." She said politely.

Ben walked away, looking happy, and Naomi watched him go before turning to leave. Alex, still watching from the stairs, looked calm, but a hint of jealousy flickered in his eyes. He stared after Naomi as she disappeared from his sight.

Hours later, Naomi and Mia were getting ready for their movie night. As they prepared in their room, they shared stories about their encounters with their boss, unaware that Nathan and Alex were already in the living room, chatting with Mr. Daniels.

When Naomi and Mia emerged, they were surprised to see the men waiting for them.

"Oh, you two are ready," Mr. Daniels said. "They've been waiting here for an hour now."

"We'll be on our way now," Alex said, standing up.

"Okay, take care of yourselves and be careful," Mr. Daniels advised.

"We will," Nathan replied, and each man took their respective partner's hand, leading them out.

Mr. Daniels saw them off to their car, opening the door for the ladies to get in. Nathan started the engine, and they drove off, Mr. Daniels waving goodbye as they disappeared into the night.

As they drove, Naomi caught Alex's gaze in the rearview mirror, and she felt a shiver run down her spine. His eyes seemed to bore into her soul, making her wonder what she had done wrong. Mia and Nathan noticed the exchange, and Nathan's lips curled into a knowing smile as he shook his head slightly. Mia leaned in closer to Naomi.

"Why is he staring at you like that? Did you do something wrong?" she asked, her eyes darting between Naomi and Alex.

"I don't know," she whispered back.

Just then, her cell phone rang, shrill in the silence of the car. She sighed, recognizing the caller ID. Alex's eyes locked onto hers in the mirror, his gaze intense. Naomi picked up the call, trying to sound casual.

"Hey," she said, waiting for Ben's response.

But before she could hear anything, Alex cranked up the music, the volume blasting through the speakers. Naomi winced, unable to hear what Ben was saying, and quickly ended the call. Alex's smirk grew wider as he started swaying to the music, his body moving in rhythm.

"Sorry, I'm just in the mood for some vibe," he said.

Naomi and Mia exchanged a knowing look, both of them sighing in exasperation. Nathan, on the other hand, was entertained by the scene unfolding before him, a subtle smile playing on his lips.
