Sierra was running as she burned, screaming as the sting of fire engulfed her, ready to eradicate her.

"Get the water!!" Empress yelled at the guards who rushed to the water tank at the back.

They yanked the pipe and came back to the lawn with it, but when they returned, Yulia was already back in the truck.

She drove again, blocking Sierra with the truck body, so the water wet the truck instead of the burning lady.

Sierra finally collapsed after running around the lawn with the fire. Her fall was loud, and even after she thudded on the grass, she continued burning, the fire on her body ate the green of the grasses.

The water was rendered useless, and the guards just stood there, looking incompetent and stupid.

They'd have shot, but Empress has been preserving the innocence and dignity of this institute for long, so shooting guns would surely alert cops to this place which she doesn't want to happen, and that's why she kept dogs instead, but the dogs betrayed her for food.

"Yulia!!!!" She stood to her feet, her shoes pulling away from her feet as she ran wildly towards Yulia.

"I'll end you! You'll follow Pedro! You'll accompany my daughter to hell!!"

Her words were knocked off when Yulia started the car for the third time, coming for her.

Empress didn't stop running, with her scattered hair, barefoot, soiled clothes and bleeding knees.

Yulia didn't stop speeding too, with her venomously hard face, murderous eyes and gripping palms.

The two collided at the same time, and Empress was hit by the truck which threw her some distance away.

She landed not far from her burning daughter, and she was colouring from the mouth as she began gasping for breaths.

The guards couldn't even come close cos Four was already moving.

He squatted beside her body with a knee high than the other, and Yulia joined him, squatting on the other side in the same style.

"Ed was right, you actually really lost your toes, no pity, not sorry." Yulia clicked her tongue, staring at Empress's toeless feet.

"How did you feel that day after poisoning her with the smokes from the brazier? How did you feel when you connived with my bastard brother?" Four whispered, lifting her head up with a rough yank.

Empress's eyes blinked in pains as her blood cascaded down her chin, and her heart shook in her chest.

"Did you feel victorious? Seeing as he was burned and buried as a mad commoner? huh?"

His lips were shaking with the rage he couldn't contain as he spat the words at her.

Empress just stayed in his merciless hold, eyes closing bit by bit and blood leaking fast to the grass.

The blaze of Sierra's fire is even reaching their side. They could feel it on their skins.

Four took her phone from her pocket, and it's very obvious that Empress wants to fight and take it back, but she has no energy to do that, so she just helplessly grumbled.

"You took my husband, I took your daughter. I'm gonna clear Pedro's name, and I bet this institute would be closed down. It's now my turn to watch you crumble, and please make it agonizing, I love me a hell show." Yulia tapped her cheek.

"And I bet you're planning to take Axel too. I can see the unquenchable rage in your helpless eyes, but don't worry, you can have that bastard." She continued and stood.

"Live long, we have lots of catching up to do." Four nodded at Empress.

He drove out of the institute with Yulia, and the moment they left, the guards finally came to take Empress inside for treatment.

"Move the annex patients to the underground annex!" The senior assistant ordered as he tried to revive Empress with shock therapy.

The other assistants and nurses just gave him looks of confusion.

"Don't you understand? Clearing Pedro's name means cops are coming to raid this place, and if they find the annex patients, then it's over!" The senior assistant explained.

"But we can't open the annex without Chief's eyes on the sensor."

"That's true..." The senior assistant muttered, then he continued giving Empress the shocks.

At the tenth one, Empress jerked back to life, but her eyes only opened, she's still numb.

The senior assistant wheeled her to the annex entrance, and she was tilted up so the scanner snapped her eyes, opening the door.

--

Yulia did a lot to hold back her tears in the institute, so the moment Four rode the truck out of the gates, she cried like a baby.

She didn't hold back, didn't keep it inside anymore. She let it all out.

Four didn't try to stop her, didn't try to console, he just let her do it, and the tears were much, but he understands the need for it.

"He loved me, but I misunderstood him the whole time. I thought he placed that witch over me. I was hurt for nothing, but then he died because of me." She hiccupped.

"I misunderstood him, too. And papa didn't die cos of you. He died cos the witch wanted to see you fall. He died cos it was his time to die, just the wrong way." Four dryly replied.

"Ow...Ed... Mon Cherri." She wailed again, grabbing her handkerchief to wipe her tears this time.

Four's eyes are dry, not because he doesn't wanna feel emotions, but because he can't. He has always been like this. Dry eyes.

Never crying. Never wailing.

He drove into the Large Police Bureau, and he went in alone to submit the footage.

The cops watched it right in front of him, and the shocks in their eyes was magnanimous which is understandable.

The footage included how Empress inserted the cocaine wrap into Pedro's pocket, too.

And Axel... His father's son who connived with the witch to take him down.

Before Four left the bureau, a dozen of cops already left to take care of the matter. They have the right to get Empress, but Axel is gonna be punished automatically by the military law.

Four joined Yulia in the truck again, resuming the drive, and this time it's to the Presidential office.

He stopped in front of the security sector, and he was greeted respectfully as he went in, but he just walked past them, going straight to the head of the sector's office.

Mr. Yuri stood immediately Four came in.

"General Four?"

Four dropped another flashdrive containing the footage on his desk, and the man immediately viewed it, sending it to all branches of the sector.

Four went to the military management sector next, submitting the third flashdrive to the desk of the manager.

He left the presidential office without even getting to the main building, without seeing the president.

He drove away with Yulia in his truck.

Mrs. Katerina who has been following secretly since the start came out behind a pillar some steps away from the main building.

She watched the truck leave the gate before entering the sectors to get the printed reports, then she head for the main building.

She adjusted her suit, brushed her hair and retouched her lipstick before entering the President's office.

President Spyros is with three men from finance, but immediately Katerina came in, he cut the chat short, and the men took their leave.

"Evidence of late General Pedro's innocence just came in... from Four." She reported.

"What!" President Spyros sounded in disbelief, his forehead folding.

"Yes, sir. I'm sure you'd have gotten calls from the sectors already, maybe you were ignoring them cos of your meeting with the finance men. Four cleared his father's name, even at the police bureau." Katerina continued, handing him the report.

Spyros checked them out with impatience, uncovering one paper after the other.

"Empress of Therapeia? The best mental health doctor in this city? That's his ex-wife! And Axel DeVille? His second son?"

"So it is. Apparently, whatever smokes Pedro inhaled from the brazier is poisonous, and it made him mad. She inserted the cocaine in his pocket herself. Axel is her co-perpetrator, surprisingly. It's better that Four became the General. If you had succeeded in making Axel the General, then what would the people say at a time like this?" Mrs. Katerina continued.

Spyros reduced the tightness of his tie around his neck, and despite the blowing air conditioner, he's sweating.

"The cops are definitely on their way to ransack the institute and arrest the Empress." Katerina said.

"Stop any news related to Four, for now." Spyros cautioned.

Katerina opened the last document she's holding — a brown envelope, and from it, she brought out pictures of Xanthe from last night.

How he met Jason at the estate entrance, and how he followed him on his bike.

"Who's this?" Spyros tapped Jason's face.

"I once met him at a store, and he seemed to know we attended same college as the Ambrose couple. He was trying to make findings, but I didn't give him the opening he needed. I was having doubts back then, but now that he's rolling with Xanthe, it only means one thing...." Katerina looked up.

"He's working for Four."

"Why the hell would Four be trying to find out the college saga!" Spyros spranged up.

"Cos of Teal! He definitely has suspicions, and trust me we don't want that man in this case, at all. He'd ruin you." Katerina said.

President Spyros paced, his neck  sweat damping his polo as he removed his tie completely.

As his fingers curled on the tie, he had a slam in of the past.

                  •UNN College•

It's the project report and write-up submission day for final year medical students.

The white haired professor of medicine is seated in front of the biggest lab, taking his time to collect the printed copies and arranging with his colleagues.

Rue and Vaughn entered the lab together, and the first people Rue sighted was Spyros and Katerina.

They're seated with students from other practical teams, chatting and ignoring them totally.

Since Rue wet Spyros face with the conical flask water some weeks ago, he has kept his distance from her and Vaughn, and she's even grateful for that cos she was already thinking of calling the cops on him for assault.

But the surprising thing is that Katerina joined Spyros and kept her distance too which isn't surprising.

Katerina shares Spyros moods, and she does whatever he does.

"Are Spyros and Katerina still keeping their distance? I wonder what we did." Vaughn said.

"We came to submit our reports, let's just do that and get out. We have less than one month to spend in this school anyways." Rue replied, pulling Vaughn to the professor.

They dropped their printed reports, but immediately the Professor checked it out, he frowned.

"Rue? Vaughn? I didn't expect my best students to steal another person's work."

"What do you mean, sir?" Rue frowned, too.

"This is Spyros' work, did you both take it and split in into two as your reports? You must be too busy with each other, and that's why you can't even write reports. This is shameful." The professor said, throwing the reports on the floor.

By now, students from other teams are already converging around.

"Let me check Spyros' report." Rue quickly demanded, picking the reports from the floor.

"You have no right to demand anything, Rue. You both are friends with Spyros so how could you do it? You're scholarship students for crying out loud!" The professor yelled.

"This..." Rue raised up the reports "Is our reports. The results of the work I and Vaughn did for several months with painful sleepless nights! If anyone is the thief here, it's Spyros himself!" Rue yelled.

She set the reports on the desk and marched to Spyros who looks like Goliath when he stood, towering above her.

"That day at the second lab when you assaulted me, you touched my flashdrive, didn't you?"

"Assaulted you? Touched your flashdrive? Are you crazy? Fine, you're in love with me, and you've been begging me for s+x, saying your blind boyfriend isn't satisfying you on the sheets which I've been saying no to you cos Vaughn is a good person,"

"What!" Rue said unbelievably, and the students began muttering...

• In love with Spyros?

• I'd be in love with him, too. He's stinkingly rich.

• But that's too much, she shouldn't hurt blind Vaughn.

All these while, Katerina stayed mute. She's even still on her seat.

"What are you saying, Spyros." Vaughn came closer with his walking cane, and Spyros laughed.

"I'm serious, Rue begged for my f+ck, but cos of my refusal, she resorted to stealing my written report and splitting it with you? And now she's accusing me of stealing my own report?" Spyros grinned.

"You're unbelievable, Rue."

And Rue lost it totally with that statement. She was about to pounce on Spyros, but Vaughn beat her to it.

Vaughn literally jumped on Spyros, targeting where his voice is coming from, and they went down on the workbench together.

Even as a man with good sight, Spyros couldn't lift a finger when Vaughn was beating him, punching and knuckling him in the face.

It was violent, and the eyes of Rue and Katerina and everyone present were wide as f+ck.

Vaughn beat Spyros as if he can see, and no one—not even Rue, was able to take him away from Spyros.

Spyros was already foaming from the mouth to the desk, but Vaughn kept the blows coming.

"You think she didn't tell me about your nonsense? How you harass her sexually always? Because I'm blind, because we're poor! You think you can cheat us! You didn't make friends with us cos you actually like us, you befriended us cos you've always harbored obsession for Rue, and because I'm brilliant! I did all your highschool exams for you! And now? Now you've resorted to cheating? You're inhumane!!" Spyros shouted.

Another blow from Vaughn would have killed Spyros on that desk, but luckily, cops entered to take care of things.

Spyros was taken away from him, wheeled out unconsciously on a stretcher.

Vaughn and Rue were handcuffed and arrested as college thieves— criminals.

                   •Present Time•

Mrs. Katerina is still seated on the lounge sofa, looking at Spyros who's still pacing.

The tab she's holding bleeped with an official notification, and she read it out...

"The base requests for more more ammunition and weapons replacements, and most especially...a ship. They sent a long list."

"A ship? What's the use when they're not navies!" Spyros sat back.

"The request came directly from the General's office." Katerina said.

"Leave for now," Spyros sighed.

She stood without words and left the office.

Spyros undid the first four buttons of his shirt, allowing air into his body too. Request from the General's office?

Four has barely spent 24 hours as General, but he's already giving him heat, and it's bad.

Too bad.

His telephone rang on the desk, and he stood quickly to go get it.

Immediately he heard the voice, he smiled.

"Thanks, Usman. I'll be looking forward to it."

[Kalynda, Cliff River]

Noon is knocking, and the divers have been diving since daybreak, but their labours have been vanity since they started.

They surfaced after the Thursday dive and a thorough search through the waterbed.

The Ambrose couple skeletons are still unfound.

The uncles at the riverbank look bothered, and their eyes says they're disappointed as they watched the divers coming up.

"I think you should stop the search now, though. You've been searching for years. If they really died in this river, then their bodies or sjelet would have been long discovered." One of the divers said.

The uncles nodded at the same time.

"You might be right." Dave said.

"About?" Paul asked.

"Vaughn and Rue, they're probably alive somewhere."

--

[Military Base, Exam Hall]

Every single deserving personnel is here including Teal herself.

After the first official assembly earlier where she coordinated the armies, the new recruits were directed here for their exams, and it's been ongoing since then.

It's longer, and the questions are tougher than the questions of her own. They were set by Yulia, so less can't be expected.

The weeding didn't even wait to start after the exams. It started in the exams hall.

Take more than two hours to finish your paper, you're out.

Take too long to answer a question, you're out.

Shake, or get nervous while penning down your answers, you're out.

The precautions are much, and Teal isn't even pretending to be nice or soft. She threw them out of the hall, as fast as balls.

This year, Specialists are allowed to supervise too, so Paine and Rook and Allegra are inside, too.

April and Kash inclusive.

Axel is nowhere around.

"You're out." Teal told a lady who's fidgeting with her pen, eating the cover like nervously.

"But, ma—"

"Do you think this is a fuckin negotiation?" Teal smirked, the sight as intimidating as Four's. It might even be more.

"Sorry, ma." The lady packed her things and left the hall with a short run, leaving her half-written paper on her desk.

"Leave the hall, now!." April said down the hall, and another lady left with her things.

"Cheating?" Paine pulled one up roughly from his seat, shoving him forward. He has ink writings on his sleeves.

"If you think this is where you come with the IQ of an ant, then you're wrong. Get the fûck out." Paine sneered.

The guy swallowed saliva before leaving the hall, too.

April's eyes met with Paine's, and she stayed blank before turning away.

"You guys never get tired?" Rook said in the front, snatching a cheating paper from another one.

"Vamoose!" He ordered.

By the time that one left the hall, there are exactly 100 new recruits left inside who're writing diligently.

Kash just stood in front of the hall. He doesn't have to do anything, the rest are enough.

Rook left the hall when he got a call, and when he came back, he respectfully called Teal to a side of the hall.

"My parents called, they said your uncles were sighted by the cliff river with divers." He said.

"What do you mean divers." Teal frowned.

"Searching for your parents skeletons?" Rook replied.

"Are you for real? The skeletons were found years ago, and they're buried." Teal glared fire.

"I dunno, Battery. You should ask them yourself." Rook replied.

The exam ended shortly, and the moment the recruits submitted, a loud noise penetrated from outside, and they all left the hall to see what's going on.

Paine shoved himself into the crowd of sergeants, and he mistakingly marched April.

"Look where you're going, wuss." April glared.

"Sorry,...ma." Paine said, and April rolled her eyes away from him.

None of them could make out what's going on, but they're seeing armies chatting around in huge bunches.

"What's going on?" Rook muttered.

"Check the news! Not the base news, Greece news!" Brent said, running into the corridor with Shannon, Theo and Morgan.

Listening to him, armies went for the news, feeding their eyes with the announcements.

Late General Pedro: Cleared of all charges.

Empress: Wanted.

Axel: Will be punished according to military law.

"Tell me this is unreal! Sergeant Axel? Connived with Empress? Isn't she the Major's mother?" Morgan commented.

"He's always been a bastard." April muttered.

"Huge," Rook said.

"I just love the new air blowing in this base, it's so refreshing!" Shannon sighed.

Paine brought Abbey's phone out of his pocket, smiling as he did the necessary clicks.

Now is the time.

The videos he sent his fellow private to record when he went to Boma.

How Cassie entered Axel's Unit repeatedly. How Axel entered Kash's Suite to meet her. Even her moans whenever Axel lay with her.

Paine uploaded everything under that anonymous account again.

On the wh@tsapp groups and telegram.

Kash is right beside Teal, and Teal's mind isn't settled at all. She's busy with thoughts about what Rook told her earlier. Her uncles by the river?

"You ok, ma?" Kash asked beside her.

"Yeah I'm...I'm fine." She replied.

Geez. She needs to take care of her facial emotions so bad. She can't hide.

By the way where's Four and Yulia? Why are they not back yet? It's obvious Sierra is gon die, so she's not even expecting her back.

"What's this?" Theo was the first to notice the telegram videos, and once again, armies took their phones for the tea.

Within one minute, the sounds of Cassie's recorded moans and her entries and exits with Axel filled speakers and phone screens.

"What!! She actually cheated with Sergeant Axel?"

"Axel? Over Master Kash? Sick."

"Axel is surely a driller, and an uncircumcised bastard!"

"Cassie is more. I mean...what!!"

Shannon couldn't speak at this point. She just stood there, and soon, eyes landed on her. She found it hard to look up.

"Who knows, she might be her sister's copy? I mean... they're both from the same parents anyways."

"I know, right? How many more videos should we expect? General Four's first day is surely eventful."

Shannon left the corridor shamefully.

Teal, April and Kash were about to follow after her, but Brent was faster. He ran after her.

Shannon entered the now empty hall and sat, crying gently.

"Heyy, you promised not to cry no matter how worse Cassie's case gets.." Brent rushed in.

"Didn't you hear them? They're already saying we're the same thing which I don't even blame them for. I blame my stupid sister who dipped me in this mess!" She cried.

Kash entered, and Brent reluctantly stepped away from Shannon.

"I can vouch for you," Kash said. Shannon looked up.

"You're not like your sister. I saw your personalities before marrying Cassie. Cassie was gentle, but you were bubbly and goofy. I chose gentility, but I was deceived. You're different, Shannon. So get up and stop the tears. You're nothing like Cassie." He said, and Shannon smiled before she knew it.

"Thank you, Master."

Brent rolled eyes and left the hall.

--

[Axel's Suite]

Cassie looks mad, viewing the videos and listening to the sounds one after the other at the foot of her bed.

She's in tears, but no one to console her. Even consolation won't work at this point.

Her agent is still not answering, and now a degrading video? This base is the worse place for secrets to get out, so she just knows she's done for.

Axel came back from the assembly and has resumed his smoking spree in the living room, so they haven't even talked.

This wedding is hell, it's only now she's realizing.

She heard the opening of the main door. Thinking Axel is already going out, she came out of the bedroom, but she met Four and Yulia who're just coming in by the door with D-Sergeants behind them.

Cassie froze.

"Seize him," Yulia ordered.

Axel stood from the couch he's sitting on, facing the crowd. He broke into an unexpected laughter, folding the cigar into his palm and intentionally burning himself.

"I was never your son, was I? I was never! When last did you even speak to me? When last did you ask how I'm doing? When last did you converse with me!"

"Why should I converse with a killer who connived with a witch to kill my husband? Why?" Yulia walked closer, the room echoing her voice.

"When you were still the leader of the squad here, I FaceTimed you everyday throughout those years! Sent you homemade food to keep your buds fresh, sent you tips for your squad trainings, and after each mission, I came here to spend time with you! I gave you attention throughout the years your brother spent indoors. He came out last year, and you're hurt that I switched to him? Are you ok?"

Axel went mute.

"You're the same person who tried to force yourself into his first girlfriend, you're the same person who sent Abbey to sabotage his first mission!" Yulia continued.

Axel's eyes blinked, shockingly.

"Yeah, we know everything you think is hidden under your ugly wraps. And this last mission? While Kash was battling in Boma, you were busy taking his wife. What were you expecting? A pat in the head?" Yulia continued again.

Axel's silence went on, his tongue went twisted.

There are wells of tears in his eyeballs already, and he could only look at Yulia. He can't even look up at Four who's still at the door.

The D-Sergeants seized him, giving him the heavy military cuffs on the wrists. It was dragging on the ground as he was taken.

"Level 3 prison. Strip him naked at arrival, and leave him to spend time with bugs and houseflies till Four will be ready for him." Yulia said.

Axel was trembling as he was pushed out, past Four by the door.

Four gave him silence, and that even stings harder than words. Four's silence has always been one of his greatest weapons.

He felt it as he walked past him in the grip of the D-Sergeants.

Yulia faced Cassie who's crying by the bedroom door, and she smiled at her.

"You? You're only just starting the sufferings. You've seen nothing."

Cassie couldn't talk.

Four's plan to parboil her is still intact, but he's still as chill as this cos Kash specifically said he doesn't want  any physical punishment for her.

He's ok with the emotional tortures.

Four and Yulia left the suite, and they met Teal outside. She has been waiting, actually.

"Teal..." Four filtered out his little smile, and Teal embraced him, the hug so tight and soft at the same time.

Yulia left them with her usual smile.

Four's arms curled around Teal, his lips kissing the top of her head.

"I can finally go to your father's gravesite with you, right?" She asked.

"Sure. I'll take you tommorow morning. But tonight..." He said.

"What's happening tonight?" She pulled back a little to view his face.

"You asked for a date in your drunk state, your little brain should at least remember that." He said with a little frown, and Teal slapped his arm.

"I told you to stop bullying me with words." She glared playfully.

He touched her hair, rubbing his palm on her head. Her hair is in a low bun, so the real small shape of her head is out.

"I know what you're thinking about, don't say it out." She said.

"Egg?" He replied, and she slapped his back, causing him to groan lowly.

"Jerk." Teal chuckled.

"Date?" He kissed her nose fondly.

"Date." She kissed his chin.

--

[7Pm, Moussaka Mansion]

Teal choose this location from the numerous ones Four showed her in the tab, and Four stayed cooperative as promised. He didn't argue.

They came in his new car which he seems he got specially for this particular date, and as they came down from the brown Ferrari, Teal was surprised to see the servers in the house are all out, and they have welcoming smiles on their faces.

He must have called them when they were preparing to come, and the impressed look on his face told it all.

Four is out of his uniform. He wore a evenly black shirt—not casual and not formal, but still somehow fits into the mood tonight. His pants are same colour of pressed slacks, and his chest buttons are open, showing skin outside for the first time.

Four isn't the type to flaunt a particular body part,. She noticed it since the first day she stepped the base, and she didn't understand till she saw his scar.

He's insecure about it, and his whole body suffered closure, but now...he's definitely getting free. And the fact that he showed skin around her tonight, she smiled.

She wore a tight sleeveless gown which stopped in her mid-thigh. And it's black, too. Shiny with decorative stones which she's sure costs a fortune. Yulia got it, and she doesn't even care how much it costs.

She just knows it's expensive cos...it's Yulia anyways.

Wrapping her hand around Four's, they entered the please together, the warm lights casting moderate glows in the space, just the way Four likes.

Floors are rugged with red, tables and upholstered chairs shared the same colour draped over them in form of covers. And one look at the wall, one would know it's soundproof.

They got their own private room and settled for their meals of moussaka which was wheeled in by the servers immediately.

The table got full within seconds. Moussaka as the main dish but other assorted Greek dishes to accompany the journey. Sweet-smelling red wine lined the table middle, and a candle burned in the middle of the bottles.

Teal went first, unwrapping her cutlery to take a bite of the moussaka.

"It's good, I told you. Taste it." She stabbed from her meal, stretching her hand to the other side of the table.

Four ate comfortably from her hand, and she blinked thrice.

"How's it?"

"Good." He said aptly, and she returned to her meal, but Four couldn't even go past one forkful. He stared at her from across the table.

Her appetite is interesting to watch. Teal loves food, and no one told him he'd find that hot. She's fine as hell when she opens her mouth to eat each forkful.

He lifted a glass of wine and poured two classes.

"Why do you love brown colour so much?" She asked.

"What are you gonna pay with? I don't answer questions for free and you know it." He replied, handing her a cup of wine which she took.

They clinked glasses softly.

"You're cheap, so cheap." She smiled.

"Only when it's about your body." He said as if making a point, and she smiled again.

"What's my best color?" She asked.

"You have none, you just wear whatever goes with your day." He replied sharply.

"Beat food?"

"Veggies, and sometimes chicken stew, but veggies the most."

"Biggest fear?"

"Fear of abandonment." He replied, and she blinked.

"After your parents death, you grew it, and that's why you refuse to see your uncles as your new fathers cos you're scared they might go six feet under. You're scared of making more friends except Rook, and that's why you only see Shannon and April as your fellow Privates and bit friends. You're scared of—"

"Stop, Eros." She cut him off, and it came out in a whisper which she didn't plan.

"Just...stop psychoanalyzing me" she muttered again, drinking from her cup. She felt caught.

She drank again, and Four had a look at her face in the glass.

"Have something to tell me?" He asked.

Teal lowered her cup, and for two minutes, she looks like she's pondering without speaking.

Four stood, rounded the table and came to her. He took the glass from her and set it down, then he pulled her up.

"Rook's parents saw my uncles with divers at the river in my hometown, searching for skeletons. I'm just hoping it's not what I'm thinking." She said with confused eyes.

Four palmed her cheek, and he was about to talk further when his phone sounded on the table between the half-eaten meals.

He took the phone, recognizing the number immediately.

"I'll be right back, stay here." He told her, rubbing her hair before leaving for the washroom with his phone.

She sat back on the chair slowly, and that was her mistake.

She should have followed him.

She should have insisted.

Cos after two minutes, he didn't return.

Three minutes, he didn't.

Four minutes, he didn't return.

At the fifth minute, she left the room and went down the open hall, going straight till she arrived at the washroom door.

The moment she opened the door, her phone fell from her, shattering beside her shoes.

"No!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
