All he saw was red and in a swift movement, he tore the ropes that held him. Everyone gulped in fear.

ADAMS HOUSE

Laura was pacing frantically, her hair was scattered as a result of her constantly ruffling it.

Brad came in and rushed up to her, holding her shoulders.

"Relax dear, what's wrong?". He asked.

"I feel weird, really really anxious, Emily has been missing for 2 days now and you're not doing anything to find her". Laura rushed.

"I'm trying my best here, Bryan is trying as well, just have a little bit more patience, okay?". He said.

"How much more patience must I have?.....

"That's enough Laura, enough, Emily will be back so calm the hell down". Brad snapped. Laura looked at him in disbelief and stomped to her room.

Brad sighed and ruffled his hair.

Bryan checked his phone, the location of the warehouse had been sent to him, he checked it again to confirm and it's really it.

"Time to meet your fiancé Emily". He smirked and walked in. Luke and Paul were at the entrance and stopped him immediately, guns drawn.

"It's me, Bryan..... Bryan Trent". Bryan said nervously. Luke brought out his phone to confirm, then they let him in.

Larson had gone to do something real quick so Emily was alone in the room, tied up and barely conscious.

"You know, it's a crime to be this beautiful, you're like a price that every man wants to have.... If only you didn't fall for Angelo". Bryan muttered, removing the gag from her mouth.

Emily just stared at him silently.

"You have so much more you can achieve but no, you just had to fall in love with that bastard, he's nothing more than a monster, i was always the better option!". He was yelling now.

Still nothing from Emily.

"Say something damnit". Bryan banged the chair.

"Angelo was and is always gonna be better than you, no matter how many times you deny it". Emily said.

"Come with me now, Emily, and we'll have a new life together". Bryan muttered.

"I'd rather die than go anywhere with you". Emily shot back.

"Then die". Bryan smiled and slapped her hardly. Emily whimpered and bit her lips.

"The way you bite your lips has always been my undoing". Bryan said. "Reconsider Emily".

"Never". 

He started choking her, Emily couldn't even struggle, then suddenly, Bryan's grip loosened and his body was thrown backwards. 

Larson appeared behind him, glaringly.

"No one touches what's mine". Larson glared. He had shot Bryan.

"I will never ever belong to you. What is wrong with you guys?". Emily yelled. "Everyone keeps claiming ownership of something that was never there to begin with. First Callum, then Bryan and now, you?". She scoffed.

"Hard to get, eh?". Larson chuckled. "Lucky for you, I'm in a good mood".

Angelo lunged at bluey, his hands wrapping around her neck swiftly, bluey clenched her teeth and tried to fight her off but Angelo wasn't having it, he grabbed her hand with his free one and twisted it to the back.

Henrik ordered his men to fight Angelo, then Carlos stood up, taking his gun, Alyssa and Kate swung into action immediately. Katherine and Elena were just glued to the spot.

It's not possible. The queen mother can't die like that, she has survived many life threatening situations in the past and come out, no!!!

Bluey yelped, Zade tried to help her but Alyssa kicked him in the groin.

"You motherf+cking betrayer, if Angelo doesn't kill you, I will". She said and sent him flying backwards with a fierce kick.

Callum was held back by Anthony.

"What the hell, father?". 

"They can handle this on their own". Anthony said. "There are more important things to do right now, Angelo can kill them all, remember not to trust anyone". Anthony said.

Callum took a step back and watched. Filipe and Josh were being fought by blade and Hades, despite the tension between them, they were still working together as a team.

Angelo was still choking bluey, her eyes were red now and Henrik was desperately trying to hold him off, bluey's hand was now in a dangerous position coz Angelo twisted it like an object, her loud cry pierced Zade 's heart and he swung into action but Carlos caught him.

"Right now, I'd suggest you stay away from Angelo, because he doesn't care about who is who and you may even up eight feet under". Carlos said.

"He'll kill bluey". Zade argued.

"F+ck!". Carlos cursed and before Zade could think, Carlos elbowed him on the head and he blacked out. He dropped to the floor and Carlos lunged at Henrik who was holding a gun, aiming at Angelo, both of them fell and tumbled on the bare floor.

"You killed her?, She was everything to me!, How dare you?!!". Angelo yelled. It's the second time she's seeing him out of control and it's not look funny. "Your death will be more painful, I swear". 

Bluey's hand was numb now but she wouldn't beg. She would never!.

Angelo dragged her upstairs and she shook her head, no one could save her. Callum and Anthony were making calls to gawd knows who, her father was held at gunpoint by Carlos and her uncle was held down by Alyssa and Kate. Even Zade was unconscious.

"An.... Angelo". Bluey choked out, she was over the railing, Angelo was still holding her neck.

"Don't f+cking utter my name". Angelo said darkly.

"You'll never......know where Emily is, if you kill me". She said.

"Angelo". Carlos called out. "Don't kill her, please, at least not yet". He said and that single distraction was enough for Henrik to take the gun from him. 

"If you do anything to my daughter, I'll kill your dear friend over here". Henrik said. Alyssa gasped.

"Angelo, can you hear me?". Alyssa called out. "We need to find Emily first". Not looking away from filipe, they can't afford any mistake at this point.

Angelo snapped back to his senses at the mention of Emily, he looked at her for a second, then at bluey, from the corner of his eye, he noticed Callum Anthony getting into a car.

F+ck!.

He exhaled and slammed bluey to the wall beside him, she fell with a loud thud and winced, her arm was basically lifeless now.

"Don't think you'll remain alive, I swear on the queen mother that I'll present your head to her grave". Angelo swore and raced downstairs, he got into his car at a maddening speed. Bluey took a long, deep breath, a second later and she would be dead.

"He's still stronger than me, damnit". She muttered. Henrik rushed upstairs and walked to bluey.

"Bluey....

"There's no time, follow him". Bluey said and stood up, wincing slightly but pain was something she was used to already, she ran straight to their car, Henrik behind her and they drove off.

"What's going on?". Hades asked. Kate was tying filipe up while Alyssa held him down. Blade tied up Josh.

Katherine looked lost and by the time, Alyssa stood in front of her, she looked up, her voice shaking, lips quivering.

"I.... I'm sorry, she..... she's not supposed to die". Katherine said, tears streaming down her face. Alyssa stared at her softly, then squatted.

"Lyssa, she's dead". Katherine cried and tried to hug her. Alyssa slapped her with every anger in her, that Katherine lips actually burst.

"You....you wanted to be the Donna, didn't you?, Fine then, have the bloody fucking empire, the wealth, everything is yours, you're no different from Nora and Marcus". Alyssa gritted.

"I was stupid, Lyssa, I know, but...but you're my best friend, you...you should understand.....I...I wasn't thinking...I was blinded by anger, I didn't know.... What are you doing?".

Katherine blurted out. Kate was behind her, tying her up too.

"The moment you switched sides, you became dead to us". Kate said.

"Wait a minute.... where's Elena?". Carlos asked. 

"What?, She was right here". Blade muttered.

"We'll find her, we need to find Angelo now". Alyssa stood.

They all looked at the Queen Mother.

"When we come back, we give her a befitting burial". Hades said and they nodded.

Carlos brought out his phone.

"Who are you calling?". Alyssa asked.

"The Russo brothers, we need all the help we can get". 

"We have to hurry though, Angelo's not in the right state of mind right now....I know just how much he loved the queen mother, even when he never said it and this....this has broken him, more than he'd show". Alyssa mumbled.

Angelo followed Callum and Anthony, he had actually caught up with them and was hot on their tracks, bluey was behind him and the three cars were all speeding insanely.

Anthony was the one driving, Angelo had gotten that driving habit from him. Angelo knew where they were going.

To the warehouse.

He could picture Emily in the same state as the queen mother.

The queen mother!!.

He just felt like switching his brain off and not having to deal with the goddamn emotions that were coming up. When he saw the queen mother's lifeless form, he could see his mother, Angela, also laying there, their faces interchanging every second. From the queen mother to Angela.

They were killed the same way, that too, in front of him. 

Angelo felt like screaming. Fück screaming, he couldn't breathe, he could feel his life leaving him but the one thing that kept him going was Emily. On one hand, the thought that he could easily run into Anthony's car and kill them and himself and end the misery one and for all but on the other hand, Emily's face, her smile, her innocence, the way she looked at him cutely and the taste of her lips....the things he felt when she hugged him kept him sane.

She didn't have that judgemental look he always got from people, even though they were afraid to show it but it was there.

He glanced at the road for a second and that was where Anthony's car was parked.

They were now outside the warehouse.

Angelo took his gun, one in his boots, one in his pants pocket, two in his pockets and one in his hand and burst into the building. 

Bluey and her father followed him.

Emily was breathless now, her head ached, she was bleeding a bit and was gagged again. Larson was, Paul and Luke were still in the room when Anthony and Callum came in.

Angelo froze on seeing Emily, she looked pretty normal, although tired but something was off. Bluey and Henrik stood beside Anthony, so the seven of them were on one side, Angelo in front of Emily but a few metres away.

Their eyes were on each other.

That was when Angelo noticed it, just above her waist.

A f+cking bomb.

It was ticking.

2 minutes.

"Very smart of you". Anthony smiled.

"Your lover here has only two minutes to live.....

"F+ck". Angelo cursed and tried to go forward.

"I wouldn't do that if i were you". Bluey said and Angelo looked at her, stopping in his tracks.

"If you take one step forward, the bomb explodes immediately".

1 minute and 40 seconds now.

All air was leaving Angelo's lungs with every passing second. He couldn't even think clearly.

"All these years i served you, Angelo, i suffered daily, even had to obey that old witch, Anna. You ordered me around like some animal but treated Emily like a princess, you killed my cousin and I had to act like i didn't care when in reality, it broke me, i could even cry....it was always Emily this, Alyssa that... like you're some main character?, You felt like everyone was below you but the tables have turned. 

Emily was never meant to be in all these but she is and it's all your fault". Bluey smirked.

"Time is ticking, Angelo". Callum said.

60 seconds now.

"Defuse the bomb now". Angelo yelled, doing the only logical thing he could, aimed at Henrik.

"Father!!". Bluey screamed.

"You can kill him, it doesn't make a difference". Anthony shrugged.

"You bastard". Bluey snapped at him, Callum shot Henrik instead and they all gasped.

"He wasn't important anyways". He said.

50 seconds now.

"How could you?,...we trusted you". Bluey screamed again, tears pouring from her eyes.

"Trust at your own risk, honey". Anthony smirked and soon, Larson and his friends dropped to the ground. They were poisoned earlier by bluey.

30 seconds.

"Anthony, don't do this please". Angelo begged. Emily's eyes were full of tears.

She knew she was going to die.

"I love seeing you beg". Anthony smirked. 

Angelo took a deep breath.

"I've never asked you for anything in my entire life, except today, Anthony, please defuse the bomb". 

"You swore to never ask me for anything in your life". Anthony mocked. "If you're to beg, do it thoroughly, kneel before me". 

Emily wanted to scream no. 

If he knelt, Angelo was surrendering everything to him, his property, his clan, he would be surrendering the entire Italian mafia clan to Anthony.

10 seconds left.

Angelo looked at Emily, the timer was a tad bit slower now. Losing one person in a day was enough for him.

Then, Angelo's knees bucked and he dropped to the floor.

Nothing could ever make Anthony and Callum happier than the fact that THE Angelo Gerald, the man with pride the size of a galaxy bowed to them.

"Please let her go". Angelo breathed out.

6 seconds now.

Emily felt her heart shatter as she watched Angelo, he didn't stand. Who would?.

"Eh". Anthony looked as though he waa considering. ".....no". He said.

"No?". Angelo's head snapped up.

"No...too late". He smirked. "I'd rather watch you break". 

He gestured to Callum and they both ran out of the room. Bluey looked at her father but she couldn't afford to die too so she ran out.

Bullets rained like crazy randomly and Callum flinched, bluey flipped to her feet immediately.

Angelo rushed to Emily, the bomb never exploded, Alyssa made sure of that.

"What the hell?". Anthony shouted.

"Why didn't it explode?". Callum mumbled and ran to the room.

Angelo rushed to Emily, at the same time, Carlos and Kate dove into the room, both of them had two guns each.

Alyssa was in the control room, she had actually hacked into the bomb's countdown system and reset the timer.

Angelo untied the ropes and removed the gag from Emily's mouth and before she could breathe, he grabbed her waist and pulled her into a bone crushing hug.

"No!!!!!!". Bluey yelled. "The plan was full proof, how could it flop?". 

Anthony grabbed his gun immediately and aimed at Angelo.

"Angelo, watch out". Kate yelled, Carlos was closer and kicked Anthony's leg, he stumbled and almost fell.

At the same time, Angelo shot Callum's hand, the one with which he was about to bring out a gun and he hissed, clutching his arm.

Meanwhile, Alyssa smiled and stood up, it wasn't an easy task getting into the building unnoticed, the windows were high, if not for teamwork, they wouldn't have made it. Bruno tracked Callum's phone because he couldn't track Angelo's, that's how they found the warehouse.

When they helped her get in, Carlos and Kate immediately loaded their gun and rounded the back. The control room wasn't only a control room, in a corner were explosives.

Immediately Alyssa turned, she was met with Elena's stoic face. Alyssa stepped back but Elena came forward.

"What are you doing?". Alyssa asked, something about Elena's demeanor petrified her.

"Queen mother is no more..

"That's your fault". Alyssa cut in.

"Don't say that". Elena snapped.

"Why?, Because you feel guilty?, You and Katherine will regret it". Alyssa snapped back.

"My heart hurts, Angelo doesn't care about me, he only hurts me". Elena mumbled.

"Angelo cared about you...you were just too dumb to notice, he doesn't go around writing 'i care about you' on his head, but he does". Alyssa said softly.

"I want to die....". She smiled.

"You can't be serious, if you wanted to die, you would have done it already". Alyssa scoffed.

"But i want to hurt Angelo". Elena said seriously.

"You can never, not even in your wildest dreams". Alyssa rolled her eyes.

"I know how to do both". Elena was coming closer now.

"What....

Alyssa's eyes widened when Elena brought out a lighter and put it on.

"Lena, stop it, you're not blind to see the explosives here". Alyssa snapped.

"I said i want to die, my life is meaningless...

"But i don't, stop it". Alyssa tried to run but Elena grabbed her forcefully.

"Let go of me". Alyssa screamed. "Angelo!!!".

"Too bad this room is bullet proof". Elena smirked. "Say your last goodbyes". 

Downstairs, Angelo looked at Anthony who was now on his knees, callum beside him. Bluey was tied up.

"You were supposed to be my father but you hated me for no goddamn reason". Angelo started, Emily was standing beside him.

"Growing up, I wondered why you never played with me how you did with Callum and zade....hell, i even began to think I wasn't your biological child but you were nice to Lyssa, even nice to mom before. You failed even more than a failure should". Angelo shook his head.

Emily squeezed his hand a bit. He was trying to keep his emotions in check. Then he turned to Callum.

"If he failed, you failed even more, you were always jealous of me, always competing even where there was no fucking competition to begin with. You both should know already you won't get a befitting funeral, I'd never let that happen". He scoffed.

"Angelo, I'm sorry...

"No, you're not". Angelo cut in.

"Maybe you're right.....

"I won't listen to any of this". Angelo said and pulled the trigger, right in Anthony's skull.

"I....

"I've fulfilled a wish of yours, haven't i?". Angelo asked Callum.

"You've always wanted to see him die, too bad you'll be joining him". 

"Please, give me a second chance". Callum begged.

"Maybe in your next life". 

He pulled the trigger too and Callum dropped to the floor.

Angelo turned to bluey and she gulped.

"Emz, are you really going to watch him kill me?". Bluey asked. "I'm sorry, I was blinded by revenge.....". 

Angelo dragged bluey up and slammed her against the wall, beginning to choke her.

"You killed the Queen mother, better pray you don't meet her in the afterlife coz you'll die again". 

Angelo took his gun and shot her in the head.

Emily looked away, tears forming in her eye. Kate patted her back and Angelo took off his jacket, drying his hands.

Carlos patted his shoulder and hugged him shortly, he also hugged kate.

"You said Alyssa was with you guys?". Angelo asked and Carlos looked around, dead bodies were scattered on the floor.

She should have come down a long time ago.

"Yeah, she went upstairs". He said.

Angelo glanced at Emily shortly.

"I'll find her". He said.

Then, a loud explosion was heard from upstairs and the door flew off.

"Alyssa!!!!!!". Carlos yelled and Angelo looked at him, his head banging.

It's impossible.

He turned to sprint upstairs but Emily held him back.

"No, please, i can't lose you". She shook her head, she was being selfish but she didn't care.

Angelo looked at her, took her hand, then took off his necklace- that he'd never taken off before in his life, the one Angela gave to him- and slipped it into Emily's hand.

"I'll be back for you, love, i promise". He said and kissed her forehead. 

"No, don't leave please". Emily cried.

"I love you, Emily. So fucking much that it's driving me crazy". Angelo confessed.

What?.

Emily stood shocked, even Angelo didn't expect that, but seeing her almost losing her life today made him realize that he was in love with her. She is his anchor.

The fire was spreading now and everywhere was filled with smoke.

"Carlos, take them out. Now". Angelo said but Carlos wasn't hearing anything. All he could think of was....

Alyssa.

Alyssa.

She's upstairs. In that fire.

"Carlos!". Angelo's voice was imposingly dangerous now and Carlos blinked, snapping out of it. 

"I'll come back with Alyssa". Angelo muttered to himself, his chest was tightening now.

Carlos grabbed Emily, Kate was at the exit.

Slowly, Emily's hand detached from Angelo's and she screamed, crying loudly as she watched him go into the fire to find Alyssa.

The fire exploded again, increasing more. Carlos practically dragged Emily out of the warehouse.

"He'll come back right?, He should, he must". Emily cried.

"Angelo and Alyssa are each other's souls, one can't survive without the other". Kate mumbled.
