"I'm sorry ma'am, i swear it will never repeat itself, I've learnt my mistake, please, i don't have another job". Finn cried, Benjamin knelt with him.
"Pardon us ma'am, it was a mistake please".
Angelo grabbed Emily's wrist and pulled her along with him to his car.
"Are you really going to fire them?, They've apologized". Emily said.
"You wanna be strong, right?". Angelo asked and she nodded slowly.
"Then lock up those damn emotions, I've told you before, they only make you weak".
Emily pursed her lips, then Angelo entered the car. Emily did too and the car sped off.
Rachel watched the car fade and looked at Jasper who was eating his pizza.
"Who exactly is she and why is she so important to him?". She muttered.
"Someone you wouldn't want to mess with, you're lucky i didn't tell sir Angelo that you allowed them to do it, if you want to keep your job, stay away from her the next time you see her". Jasper said seriously.
"Who do you think you are to blackmail me?". Rachel snapped.
"This isn't even blackmail and you're already scared, what will happen if I actually tell on you?". Jasper raised his brow.
"I can actually turn the tables, tell Angelo that you were with Finn and Ben that day and you'll get fired for real". Rachel smirked.
"Try that then, we'll see who gets fired". He said confidently.
"You're so arrogant... I'll love to cut your wings".
"I've got nothing to fear". Jasper shrugged and walked away.
Jasper is actually Carlos' brother and has known Angelo for a long time. Nobody in the company knows that coz he chose to keep it that way.
Rachel stared at him leaving and scoffed. "Just you wait and see".

Angelo parked in the Mansion's parking lot and Emily's eyes widened, she started smiling before she even realized it.
She was so excited that she even came out of the car before Angelo.
Angelo just shook his head and let her do what she wanted, after all, she's not going to stay in the mansion, not until he's done with whatever he's checking.
Bluey and Anna were arguing about something as usual but as soon as the door opened, they kept quiet thinking it was Angelo.
"Blue!!!". Emily screamed and ran to bluey, Bluey's lips parted in shock and she blinked severally to be sure.
"Emz?, It's really you.... it's really you". She squeaked and hugged her tighter. "Gawd, I've really missed you".
"I missed you too blue, i never thought I'll see you again". Emily mumbled.
Anna low-key glared at the two of them but still walked away. Carlos and Alyssa stood by the railing.
"Never thought I'll ever say this but I'm kinda glad she's back". Alyssa muttered under her breath but Carlos heard her.
"I thought you didn't like her?". He raised his brow.
"There's just..... something about her, I think i can stand her". She shrugged.
IN THE STUDY*
Angelo and Zade walked into the study together and zade quickly sat on the desk. Angelo rolled his eyes and faced him.
"What is it?".
"I just thought it'd be nice to have a little brother-bonding time, yunno?". Zade smiled sweetly.
Angelo opened his mouth to speak.
"I mean you've been acting like i don't exist and i have a lot of questions i want to ask like....are you in love with... Emily?".
Angelo's eyes were dangerous at this point and Zade gulped.
"Okay, wrong question.... don't answer that. Did you really bring that guy.... what's his name again?.... Bruno yeah, did you bring Bruno here?". He asked. Angelo nodded.
"Mom asked me to visit, since she can't come here so i won't be around for a while....she wants you to come too....
"No". Angelo cut him off.
"Fine.... I want to take bluey with me". Zade said.
"What?".
"Bluey and I are in a relationship and I'm tired of hiding it, so I'm gonna tell them, i don't care what they say, I won't change my mind". Zade uttered seriously.
Angelo watched him for a while and nodded.
"Call me if anything's wrong". He said.
"Sure".
....
In the servant's quarters, Emily told bluey everything that had happened so far, including her parents' decision to get her married to Bryan.
"I really hate your parents, no offence though, mil". Bluey said.
"They weren't like this..... everyone's changing, everything's changing, I don't want to go back there". Emily muttered.
"I also hope master Angelo doesn't send you back.... I can't bear staying away from you again". Bluey mumbled.
"Oh my... I forgot that i have to cook". She gasped. "I'll be back".
"Wait, I'll go with you". Emily said and the two of them stood up.

Bryan went back home and locked the door, he picked up his phone and immediately dialed a door, the person picked up after the fourth ring.
"Hello?, I know I'm not supposed to call but there's an emergency... Angelo has taken Emily". He rushed.
The person on the other line remained calm.
"We know, he has only helped with our plan". He said.
"What?, That wasn't part of our deal, I am supposed to have Emily, only ME, not Angelo". Bryan spat.
"You have to be patient...
"Patient?, Emily should have gotten engaged to me today, how much more patience should I have?". He yelled.
"It seems like you forgot who you're talking to, don't make me remind you". The person said and Bryan gulped. The person hung up and he roughed his hair.
"Angelo.... Angelo.... Angelo". He repeated.

As bluey and Emily cooked, Josh watched them from a distance with an assertive stare. The moment he looked away, he found Bruno watching him with narrowed eyes, he looked away and headed towards the door.
"Where do you think you're going?". Bruno blocked him.
"Mind your own business". Josh spat and tried to cross him.
"I'm sorry but i cant just leave you to go". Bruno said.
"What's going on here?". Carlos asked and bluey and Emily looked up.
"He's not letting me pass". Josh said with resentment.
"Why?".
"I need to see Master Angelo". Bruno said.
"Look, I don't know what's going on here but stop it, Angelo trusts josh and I'm the one who gave him permission to leave". Carlos said and Bruno thought for a while, then stepped back.
Josh slightly bowed to Carlos then walked out.
MAFIA HEADQUARTERS*
The Queen mother was in full rage mode as she walked around in circles.
"He never listens to me, he should let her go yet he won't". She said.
"He's in love with her". Elena mumbled weakly.
"Love...love?, Angelo...love?, He knows better than that, he didn't learn from his mother's fate and he fell in love?". Queen mother scoffed.
"You're suddenly against him falling in love when you could have stopped it earlier". Elena accused, raising her voice.
"Do not raise your voice at me, Elena!". Queen mother snapped. Elena glared at her but didn't say anything more.
Katherine stomped to Kate's room and pushed the door hardly, the door flew open and Kate jerked to her feet, her gun in her hand instantly.
"Kathy?". She blinked. "What the hell?".
"Don't 'Kathy' me, you whore!, How could you, how dare you?, You hooked up with my boyfriend behind my back, i trusted you". Katherine yelled and slapped her hard across the face.
Kate gasped.
"I...i didn't mean..... I really didn't think at that time.... Kathy, I'm sorry". She stuttered.
"Oh shut the fúck up, that's why you were so close to him in the pool, you were trying to get laid again?, You betrayed me and you cheated on blade". Katherine scoffed.
"I'm sorry....
"No you're not, you'll willingly jump on him again if you have the chance to". Katherine cut in.
"I didn't jump on him....
"Hades isn't like that, he'll never cheat on me, you seduced him coz you're such a back stabbing innocent looking slut, who knows who else you hooked up with".
Katherine's head was swept to the side by the contact of Kate's palm on her face.
"I'm not a whore or slut or whatever you think". Kate glared.
"How dare you hit me?, I can throw you out of this clan if I want to". Katherine yelled.
"You seem to forget that it's the queen mother and Angelo that make the rules around here and i know Angelo will never throw me out". Kate said.
"You wanker". Katherine pushed her backwards and pulled out her gun. She shot at Kate and she barely managed to dodge and it hit her arm. Katherine made to pull the trigger again.
"What the hell, Katherine". Hades rushed in and covered Kate while blade took the gun away from Katherine.
"Are you insane?". Blade sneered.
"You're asking me that?, She slept with my boyfriend and I'm the crazy one?". She scoffed.
"What are you talking about?". Blade asked.
"She and Hades have been mucking around, ask her". Katherine said.
"Kitty, is it true?". Blade asked weakly.
"I'm sorry". Kate winced.
"Hades?". Blade looked at him.
"It's true, i love kate". Hades confessed and Kate's eyes widened.
Blade marched up to him and gave him an uppercut. "F+ck you both". And walked out.
"You shouldn't have done that Hades, i loved you, were all our times together a joke?".
"I'm sorry Katherine, you didn't deserve that but i can't help it". Haded said.
"Screw you". Katherine walked out too.

"Hey". Bruno smiled and Emily turned, she was in the garden.
"Oh...hi". Emily returned the smile.
"We haven't really known each other.... I'm Bruno".
"Emily".
"Weren't you with bluey not long ago?". He asked.
"She told me to rest, she can handle it alone". Emily shrugged.
"Okay...so... friends?".
"Sure".
"Okay.... how long have you known Angelo?". Bruno asked and Emily looked at him.
"I don't know, 6 months?, Why?".
"Nothing, just curious". Bruno shrugged.
"Can i call you mil?, I just love giving nicknames to people, I know it's weird and I'm rambling now....
"Okay okay, you can call me mil". Emily laughed.
ADAMS HOUSE
Ava was in her room lying down, the house had been quiet the whole day since Emily left. Laura was sitting beside her, stroking her hair gently.
"The only time she was truly happy was after she met him, she doesn't care about us. Mil is so selfish mom". She cried.
"Don't say that dear, it's all our fault, if we didn't try to force her to marry Bryan, she would still be here". Laura said.
"Even if you didn't make her meet Bryan, she would still leave, she loves him too much".
"Don't think too much baby, daddy is trying his best to get Emily back".
"How?". Ava leaned up.
"Don't worry about it". Laura mumbled.
10pm
Angelo stood on the balcony, his hands on the railing and he was looking upwards, everyone just had dinner. He had footsteps and didn't even need to turn to know who it was.
Emily.
Emily walked slowly till she stood beside him, he didn't turn or acknowledge her presence though for a few minutes, until she spoke.
"Thanks for letting me stay here". Emily started.
No reply.
"Do you have any hobby?". She asked.
For three minutes straight, Angelo didn't say anything and Emily already gave up starting a conversation with him.
"Yes".
She looked at him skeptically.
"What is it?".
"Painting". He finally turned to look at her and their eyes met.
Angelo 'I'll kill you if you look at me the wrong way', actually painting something?
Oh the irony!.
"C-can i see?". Emily mumbled, fumbling with her dress.
"Come with me". Angelo said.
Emily followed him to his room, it was still the same as the last time she had been there. Nothing changed at all.
But it was empty. Devoid of any painting, so where is his artwork??
Angelo walked past her and placed his hand on the wall, the wall changed from ash to light blue, then a scanner appeared and scanned his hand. Then it opened like bricks and it was like a whole new room.
Emily remembered the time she came to his room and noticed something weird on that part of the wall yet it didn't open.
Angelo walked inside, Emily gasping loudly behind him, there were paintings everywhere, the most shocking thing was that most of the paintings were of her.
The day he saw her near the hearth.
The day he shot at her.
One of her the day she shot Vlad.
Even a painting of her when she was asleep.
Many more paintings of her were there.
Then some paintings of a woman, she looked a bit young and had a resemblance to Angelo and Alyssa.
A painting of the woman smiling and sitting near a lake holding a rose flower with the sun casting its glow on her.
That's the same tattoo she saw on his body.
Thoughtlessly, her hand moved across his mother's painting.
"Is she your mom?". Emily asked and Angelo hummed in response, then she turned to him.
"I heard all tattoos have meanings, you have a similar tattoo,..... does it also have a meaning?".
"Yeah.... that was my life when she was with me, she was always smiling at me no matter what Anthony did to her and she loved roses alot, she was literally obsessed with them and now..... she's gone, the light she shared is gone, everything was gone until....
Then he stopped and Emily looked at him, he wasn't willing to talk anymore than he'd done already.
"Come on". Angelo muttered and cane out of the room, Emily did too and he placed his hand on the wall and the door shut the same way it opened.
Angelo walked to the bedside table to grab a glass of water.
"Why did you paint my pictures also?". Emily finally asked the question that was on her mind.
Angelo looked up at her, then tasted something weird, he glanced back at the cup.
His eyes widened and he dropped the glass but it was too late, he had almost finished the water already.
"Oh fuck!". He cursed.
"What's wrong?". Emily asked worriedly and ran to him.
He was drugged.
As if on cue, the doors to his room flew ajar and masked men came in and Emily flinched.
Angelo grabbed her arm and pulled her to his back to shield her but his vision was getting impaired every passing second.
"It's over for you, Angelo". Their leader, Callum smirked and dragged Emily from behind him. Angelo gripped her other arm as tightly as he could.
He could feel himself losing consciousness.
"Let me go!, Carlos????, Bluey??". Emily called.
"It's useless calling them, darling, they're in the same state Angelo is in, only they fell unconscious earlier, i promised you I'd come back, didn't i?". Callum smirked.
"It's only a matter of time before you fall unconscious too".
"If you do harm even a hair on her, I'll f+cking kill you myself". Angelo choked out.
"It's too late to be giving out threats, don't you think?, My baby brother...".
The world seemed to be spinning for Angelo no matter how much he tried.
"I'll always protect you, Love". He promised, then the world went blank.
"Angelo!!!". Emily screamed.
"About time". Callum sneered and made to drag her out but someone stood in the doorway.
The person was Josh and Emily gasped.
"Josh?, Please help Angelo, please". Emily begged but josh didn't move.
"Josh, why aren't you moving? Do something please". Emily said again.
"Angelo was always dumb, claimed he didn't trust but he did and it was pathetic that he never figured out that i was the spy all along, we're two and I'm only the first....we work for Master Callum". Josh revealed.
"What...?". Emily blinked. "How could you do this to Angelo, he trusted you, damnit".
Emily swearing?, That's new and it's fucking hot.
"Angelo really groomed you for me". Callum grinned, then the second person appeared.
Emily blinked and swallowed nothing.
"B....h-how could you... Angelo t-trusted you, b....b...". Emily couldn't form the words and fell unconscious too, in Callum's arms.
"I'm sorry mil".
