 MY DAUGHTER'S NANNY

My Daughter's Nanny - Episode 11

TAG: Love and betrayal.

 Authoress Isabella Library

Min-soo worked closely with the police to track down the Bot Belly man's hideout after the CCTV footage revealed the van used in Ji-soo's kidnapping. The police were able to track the van's movements, and Min-soo was determined to rescue Ji-soo.

Meanwhile, Ji-soo was still reeling from her uncle's and Hye-ji's attempts to apologize. When the door opened, revealing the Bot Belly man and two of his henchmen, Ji-soo's heart sank. The man's wicked smile sent shivers down her spine.

"You all think you can fool me and get away?" he sneered. "I'll make a deal with you all... seriously."

His eyes landed on Hye-ji, and he ordered one of his men to take her. The man nodded and rushed towards Hye-ji, who was holding onto her mother tightly.

"Let me go!" Hye-ji cried, clinging to her mother.

"Please what do you want with my daughter?".he asked.

"Making you pay for eating my money," he said, his eyes fixed on Ji-soo. "I'll have a taste of her first, and then come for you."

Ji-soo's uncle crawled towards him begging for mercy.

"Please, you can't do that. My daughter is still a child, please." Tears streamed down his face.

His wife joined in, pleading.

"Please don't take my daughter. She's still a minor."

"I don't care. You'll have to choose between her and your daughter. I'm starving, and I need to eat."

The family was torn, unsure of what to do. Ji-soo watched them, her mind racing with desperation. Hye-ji clung to her mother, sobbing bitterly.

"You have just 30 seconds to decide," the Bot Belly man added, his voice dripping with malice. "Or I'll pick myself."

The family was paralyzed with fear, unsure of how to save themselves or Ji-soo.

"Take me instead, and leave my daughters out of this," Ji-soo's aunt pleaded, her voice shaking with desperation. But the Bot Belly man's grin only grew wider.

"Aw, never! I love my meal fresh," he said, his eyes gleaming with malice as he pointed at Hye-ji.  "Your time is over. I will go for the little one first."

Ji-soo's voice cut through the air, "Take me first."

"Ji-soo, what are you doing? Please don't." Her uncle's protests were swift, But she ignored him, her determination clear.

"Since I am the one you have always wanted, you can take me."

The Bot Belly man's grin turned into a leer as he moved towards Ji-soo. But she was quick to slap his hand away from her face.

"I love tough ladies," he chuckled, his eyes gleaming with excitement. He gave a brief gesture to his men, and they quickly grabbed Ji-soo, tossing her over their shoulders despite her struggles.

"Put me down!" she cried out, but her uncle's attempts to intervene were met with brutal force.

The men brought Ji-soo to a room, flipping her hard onto the bed. She groaned slightly as the Bot Belly man ordered his men to leave them alone.

"Be easy on her," he said, his laughter sending shivers down Ji-soo's spine. "You're mine now," he sneered, moving closer to her.

As he approached, Ji-soo pushed back, her eyes fixed on the pills and water he held out.

 "What's that?" she asked warily.

"Something to calm your nerves," he replied, his smile twisted. "Take it," he commanded, his voice dripping with menace.

"No," she said, trying to push him away.

But the man was too quick, grabbing her and attempting to force the pill into her mouth. She struggled fiercely, using every last bit of strength to push him off. The man fell to the ground, groaning in pain as he struggled to stand up.

Ji-soo didn't waste any time. She leapt off the bed and rushed to the door, only to find it locked.

"You... won't get away from me." He groan

Ji-soo's eyes scanned the room frantically, landing on the keys on the shelf next to the bed. She sprinted towards them, but the man was too quick, grabbing her leg. Ji-soo kicked back with her other leg, connecting with a vicious kick to his groin. The man doubled over, groaning in agony as he released her leg.

Min-soo and the police stormed the mansion, taking down the henchmen one by one. Min-soo made his way to the room, his eyes locking onto a familiar figure fleeing in terror. Ji-soo was being chased by two henchmen, her eyes wide with fear as she stumbled up the stairs.

Just as she was about to lose her balance, Min-soo appeared out of nowhere, catching her by the arm and steadying her. The henchmen froze, seeing the police surrounding the building with guns drawn. The police closed in, apprehending the Bot Belly man and his accomplices, including Ji-soo's family.

As the reality of her rescue sunk in, Min-soo pulled Ji-soo into a tight hug,

"It's over now, you're free." Ji-soo's shock gave way to tears, which streamed down her face as she struggled to process everything.

With the crisis averted, Ji-soo's emotions finally caught up with her. She felt a wave of dizziness wash over her, and before Min-soo could react, she collapsed onto the floor. Min-soo quickly rushed to her side, trying to rouse her. When she didn't respond, he scooped her up into his arms and carried her to his car, speeding away to get her the help she needed.

The doctor's diagnosis brought relief to the family gathered in the living room.

"She'll be fine," he assured them before departing. Ji-mi turned to her father,

"Dad, should I go see her now?"

"Not yet, dear. Let's wait until she wakes up.".

"How will we know when she wakes up?" she asked.

Unbeknownst to them, Ji-soo was stirring awake in Min-soo's room. She slowly sat up, groaning weakly as memories flooded back.

"Where am I?" she wondered, taking in the unfamiliar surroundings.

As she stood up and made her way to the door, it swung open, and she stepped out into the hallway. Her footsteps were soft on the floor. Meanwhile, Ji-mi was still trying to persuade her father to let her visit Ji-soo.

Ha-yoon's sharp eyes spotted Ji-soo descending the staircase.

"Ji-soo!" she called out, and everyone's attention turned to her.

Min-soo quickly rose from his seat and rushed to Ji-soo's side, assisting her to the couch.

"Are you okay?" he asked, concernedly

Ji-soo's gaze wandered, confusion.

"I'm so happy you're okay." Ji-mi's smile was warm.

"Do you want to eat something?" Ha-yoon chimed in.

"Um, what's going on? Why am I here?"

Min-soo's family exchanged knowing glances.

"Dad brought you here," Ji-mi explained.

"Um," Ji-soo said, her face bowed in gratitude. "Thank you for saving me. I'm sorry..."

Min-soo interrupted her, his voice gentle.

"You don't have to." He took a deep breath and apologized, "I should be the one to apologize for the way I treated you. I'm sorry."

"You don't owe me an apology, sir. You did nothing wrong.".

"I did. I shouldn't have treated you badly or chased you away with my child."

"Child?" she repeated. Surprised.

"Yes, the child you're carrying is mine. You were the—"

Just then, Ha-yoon intervened,

"Um, excuse me, sir. We'll excuse you two." She said taking Ji-mi's hand and excusing themselves.

Min-soo's grip on Ji-soo's hands was firm.

"I found out you were drugged that night, and you ended up in my room".

"It was you that night?" she asked, her voice trembling. He nodded.

"I tried to find the lady that night, but it wasn't until later that I discovered it was you." Ji-soo's eyes filled with tears as she processed the revelation.

"Yes. I'm sorry." Ji-soo sobbed, and Min-soo caressed her face, wiping away her tears.

 "No, don't be," he whispered.

He pulled her into his arms as she sobbed and he pat her hair gently.

Hours later, Ma Ha-yoon presented a delectable spread to celebrate the reunion. Despite the warmth around her, Ji-soo still felt uneasy. As they sat down to eat, Ji-soo's lack of appetite was noticeable.

"Ji-soo, are you okay? Don't you like the food?" Ha-yoon asked.

"I do, Granny," Ji-soo replied, though her untouched plate told a different story.

"But you're not eating.". Min-soo chimed in.

"Does the baby not like the food?"ji-mi asked

The table erupted in gentle laughter.

"It's not that," she said, her voice measured. "I just have something to say."

The room fell silent as everyone turned to her, anticipation hanging in the air.
