A week had passed, and everything was still going smoothly. Karan had met with Samara's parents to discuss marrying their daughter, and they had approved, even fixing a date for him to return with his family.

Grandma Viti and Arya were in the room, chatting and laughing together. Grandma Viti was showing Arya pictures of single guys, hoping to spark her interest.

"Grandma, do you know all these people?" Arya asked, raising an eyebrow.

Grandma Viti smiled. "Yes, dear, their families are my old business partners. So, do you have interest in any? I can fix a blind date for anyone you choose."

Arya shook her head. "No, grandma."

"Okay, then I will keep trying to find you a suitable one from a respectable home."  Grandma Viti continued to show her the pictures. "Can you get a glass of water?"

Arya stood up and began to head to the door. However, before she could reach it, the door swung open, revealing Karan. Their eyes met instantly, and Karan's gaze locked onto Arya's. Arya quickly broke eye contact and hurriedly left the room.

"Karan," Grandma Viti called, her voice firm.

Karan sighed and entered the room, his eyes avoiding the spot where Arya had just been.

Karan's face turned polite as he asked, "How are you doing, Grandma?" He moved to sit next to her, holding her hands in his.

"What are you doing in my room? The last time I saw you in my room was when you were about to get married to Arya."

Karan's face fell, and he muttered, "Um..." His eyes then caught sight of the photos of men Grandma Viti had been showing Arya. His brow furrowed in confusion.

"What are these?" he asked, his voice tinged with curiosity.

"None of your business, state your mission here."

He sighed and held her hands firmly. "Come on, Grandma, don't be angry with me anymore. I am still the Karan you loved so much."

Grandma Viti's face softened, and she smiled. "I am not angry with you, you are still my favorite grandson. So, tell me, what brings you here?"

Karan's face turned relieved, and he sighed.

Meanwhile, Samara sat alone in her room, seated on the bed while having a group call with her friends.

"Yes, soon enough, I will be Karan's official wife."

One of her friends, Pragya, spoke up from the phone, her voice laced with concern. "But, Sam, are you sure about this?"

Samara's expression turned defensive. "What are you talking about, Pragya?"

"What if Karan finds out the truth about all these?"Pragya's voice continued,

Samara's face turned pale, and she glanced around the room nervously. Pooja, another friend, chimed in, "I don't think he would."

"Thank you, Pooja. This is going to be between us. Karan will never find out about this."

The ladies on the phone replied in unison, "Ok."

"Just be careful, though."Pooja's voice added.

"I will. Talk to you girls later."

The call ended

Karan entered the room to see Samara checking herself out in the mirror.

"Are you going somewhere?" he asked.

Samara turned to him, her face lighting up with a smile. "Nope, just trying this outfit my mom sent for me." She twirled, showing off the dress. "How do I look?"

Hid eyes admired her, and he smiled. "Pretty as ever."

They shared a warm smile, and Samara hugged him tightly. "Finally, we are going to be together forever."

Karan hugged her back. "Me too."

Later, at the dining table, everyone was seated and eating. Grandma Viti spoke up,

"Samara's family will be coming tomorrow. Let's prepare for them."

Karan and Samara exchanged a excited glance.

 "What for, Grandma?"Sai asked.

"For the marriage rite between them."Grandma Viti replied.

Sonia's face lit up with a smile. "Oh, you two are finally getting married. I am so happy for you."

Samara smiled, her eyes shining with happiness. "Thank you."

As they continued eating, Karan stole glances at Arya, who seemed unbothered by the conversation. She was focused on her food, her face serene.

Grandma Viti called out, "Arya."

Arya looked up, her eyes meeting Grandma Viti's.

"I almost forgot. You will be meeting someone tomorrow."Grandma Viti said.

The table fell silent, with everyone turning to Grandma Viti in surprise, including Arya.

"What do you mean, Grandma?"Arya asked confusedly.

"I mean, I have set you up on a date with one of my friend's sons. She called last night to tell me her son is looking for a suitable and beautiful wife, and I recommended you." Grandma Viti explained.

The table erupted in surprise, with Maya exclaiming, "Aww! That's so cute!"

"Can you do this for me and go on the date?"Grandma Viti asked.

Arya hesitated, and Roshni spoke up, "It's okay if you don't want to."

Grandma Viti continued, "I have informed your family about it, and they have no problem with it as long as you agree to it."

Arya smiled and nodded. "I will."

Karan's eyes met Arya's, and for a moment, they just stared at each other. Samara scoffed, breaking the tension.

"I will inform her, and I will give you the location tomorrow."Grandma Viti said.

Ved spoke up, "Wish you best of luck, Arya."

Arya smiled, her eyes sparkling with gratitude. "Thank you."

The dinner continued, with the atmosphere filled with excitement and curiosity.

*Gian's room*

Kiara stormed in, her face twisted in anger.

"This is unfair. Why is Grandma doing this to us? I am her granddaughter. I deserve a blind date too. Why choose an outsider over her own blood?"

Sonia and the others nodded in agreement, their faces reflecting their discontent.

Gian tried to calm them down, "You two calm down. We can discuss with her over this."

"Yes, I will talk to her too."Gian's wife added,

"Relax, you two will get your partner soon, better than the one Arya will be having dinner with tomorrow."Sai spoke up,

Kiara and Sonia sighed, their faces still reflecting their frustration.

    *Karen's room*

Karan entered the room with Samara behind him. She noticed his distance and wondered why he had a frown on his face.

"Is everything okay?" she asked, her brow furrowed with concern.

Karan nodded, his eyes avoiding hers. "Yes." He started taking off his clothes, his movements abrupt.

"Are you going out? Why are you taking off your clothes?"

Karan sighed, his face still turned away. "I want to take a shower."

"But you already had a shower before we had dinner." Karan's jaw clenched, his frustration evident.  "What's going on with you? Your mood changed during dinner."

"I just don't know why Grandma cares so much for her. I mean, she has three other female granddaughters, and she hasn't once found a perfect match for them. Why focus on Arya?" He paused, his anger and frustration boiling over.

"Is that why you're worried?" She asked, calmly.

Karan nodded, his face still twisted in annoyance."Yes! They are my sisters, and I could feel their pains too."

 "Don't worry, I'm sure they'll be fine."

"I just wish she could just leave this house and never return."

Samara's face turned soft, and she caressed his face to calm him down. "You just have three months to endure seeing her around."

She pulled him into a warm hug, her eyes filled with love and reassurance.

Karan's face relaxed, and he wrapped his arms around her, holding her close.
