    ★★★★★★★★★★★★★★

Everyone was preparing for the wedding. The three ladies met with the wedding planner, accompanied by their men. The wedding planner was giving out the details of how he would plan the wedding, and the guys were listening attentively.

Shawn's eyes were wide with interest, Jeff's eyebrows were raised in approval, and Troy's face was set in a thoughtful expression. In contrast, their women looked bored and disinterested.

Sofia's eyes began to droop, Nina's head nodded forward, and Mabel's eyelids fluttered closed. The planner continued talking nonstop, oblivious to the women's tiredness.

Shawn noticed his fiancée's fatigue and decided to intervene. "We have heard everything you have said, and we like the idea, do you guys agree?" he asked, turning to Jeff and Troy.

Jeff nodded enthusiastically, "Yes, we love everything you have been saying."

Troy smiled, "Just go ahead with everything and tell us how much it will cost."

The planner beamed with happiness, "Ok, I will. Thank you."

Shawn added, "Make sure everything looks perfect. It's our first wedding, and it needs to be perfect!" His eyes sparkled with excitement.

The planner reassured him, "You can count on me, sirs."

Troy dismissed him, "Ok, you can go, and we'll all meet tomorrow to talk about the price of everything."

The planner nodded and left. They turned to their fiancées, who had dozed off in their chairs. They shared a knowing look and shook their heads, amused by the women's exhaustion.

Jeff smirked, "They knew they'd end up like this, that's why they used us as a cover-up." He chuckled, shaking his head.

Troy grinned, "Yeah, we should probably be heading home." He stood up, stretching his arms over his head.

Shawn nodded in agreement, a hint of amusement on his face. The three men walked over to their fiancées, who were still fast asleep.

Jeff gently scooped up Nina, cradling her in his arms. Troy carefully lifted Mabel, holding her close to his chest. Shawn smiled softly as he picked up Sofia, holding her securely against him.

Together, they carried their sleeping beauties out of the lounge, leaving the meeting room behind.

Days later, Sofia and Mabel walked out of the hall, beaming with relief after completing their last paper for the semester.

"I am so happy, exams are finally over," Mabel exclaimed, her eyes shining with excitement.

Sofia grinned mischievously, "Yeah, now I can sleep and not think of anything else but sleep and eat." They burst into laughter.

Just then, Nina's voice called out, "Are you two ready to go out or not?" They turned to see her standing by the car, a bright smile on her face.

"Sofia and Mabel rushed to her, their faces lighting up with delight. "Nina!" they chimed in unison.

"What are you doing here?"Mabel asked.

Nina's smile widened, "Well, I heard my two friends are ending their final exam today, so I decided to come take you girls out for lunch."

"Aww! That's so cute of you... but you look kinda pale though." Sofia exchanged a knowing glance with Mabel, and they smiled slyly at Nina.

"Didn't your charming prince give you a little dose before coming to us?" they teased, and Nina scoffed.

"I wish!" she replied, rolling her eyes.

Mabel's expression turned sympathetic, "What happened?"

"Jeff traveled this morning and will be back tomorrow." Her voice was tinged with sadness. Sofia and Mabel exchanged a comforting glance.

"Oh, come on, don't be sad, we'll stay with you before he comes back," Sofia said reassuringly.

Mabel nodded, "Yeah, we can have fun together to kill your boredom."

Nina's face brightened, "Really? What about your men?"

Sofia and Mabel grinned mischievously, "We'll take care of it."

Nina's smile returned, "Let's go to my house then. We can cook together and make today remarkable."

Sofia and Mabel nodded enthusiastically as they headed towards the car. Nina started the engine and drove off, a sense of excitement and camaraderie filling the air.

Some minutes after, Shawn and Troy received messages from their ladies, and their faces fell. Shawn's eyes narrowed, and Troy's brow furrowed. Shawn made a group video call for the guys.

"Hey guys," Jeff said on the video call, smiling. However, his smile quickly faded as he took in the stern expressions on Shawn's and Troy's faces.

"Um, is everything okay?" Jeff asked, his curiosity evident.

"Where are you, Jeff?" Troy asked, frowning.

"On a business trip."Jeff's confusion deepened.

"Why will you go on a business trip without taking your woman with you?"Shawn asked , his eyes flashed with annoyance.

"She refused to go with me. Is there a problem?"Jeff said, still confused.

Troy's face darkened. "Yes, there is! I can't sleep next to my wife, thanks to you!"

"Me too. They sent a text message to us saying they are spending the entire day with your woman, simply because you left." Shawn said.

Jeff struggled to contain his laughter. "Oh, come on, not seeing your women for one day won't cause you any harm."

Troy scoffed, his face incredulous. "Easy for you to say."

Shawn's eyes narrowed. "I have made preparations for today for my baby, and you ruined it."

Jeff's grin returned. "Don't worry, take a chill pill. I will be back first thing tomorrow morning."

"You better be. Let tomorrow not pass by. I miss my wife's cuddles."Troy said.

"Fine, I will be back. Thanks, anyway, for allowing your wives to stay with mine. Have a lovely night."Jeff said, smiling.

"It won't be lovely when your wife stole mine." Troy said.

"I wish you a night of horror nightmares."Jeff teased.

Troy's face turned red with annoyance. "F3ck you!"

Jeff laughed. "Night, guys." He hung up, leaving Shawn and Troy to sigh in their respective states, longing for their wives.

Meanwhile, the ladies were having the time of their lives together. They cooked, played, and laughed together, enjoying each other's company.

As they sat down in the living room to watch an emotional love movie, their faces were aglow with excitement. However, as the movie progressed, their expressions changed.

Nina's eyes welled up with tears, and she sobbed uncontrollably. "I miss my baby!" she wailed, shoving a handful of popcorn into her mouth.

Sofia and Mabel nodded in agreement, their faces etched with sadness. "Us too," they chimed in unison, also shoving popcorn into their mouths as they continued watching the movie.

The three friends sat together, sobbing and sniffling, missing their men as the emotional love story unfolded on the screen.

The next morning, the three men arrived at the house, Shawn and Troy couldn't wait to pick up their women since Jeff called to tell them he was on his way. They met outside his gate and drove into the compound.

As they rushed into the living room, they were greeted by the sight of their women sleeping against each other on the couch, surrounded by scattered popcorn. Shawn's, Troy's, and Jeff's faces lit up with relief and loving smiles as they moved closer to their women.

Jeff whispered, "I guess they did have fun together." Troy nodded in agreement, a small smile on his face.

Shawn gently tapped Sofia's shoulder to wake her up. "Sofia," he whispered.

Sofia murmured in her sleep, and called out to Nina, "Nina".

  "mm."Nina responded.

"Why am I hearing my husband's voice?" she asked.

"Me too, I can hear mine too."Mabel stirred.

"That's because we thought about them all through the night; they're stuck in our heads."Nina replied, still half asleep.

The three men exchanged confused glances, amused by the women's sleep-talking.

Shawn chuckled, "They thought we're stuck in their heads." The men gently tapped their women's shoulders to wake them up.

As the ladies slowly opened their eyes, they were met with the smiling faces of their men. They rubbed their eyes, thinking they were dreaming, and looked again.

Sofia's eyes widened, "Why am I seeing Shawn here?"

Mabel asked, equally bewildered, "And why am I seeing Troy too?"

Nina's face scrunched up, "Are they real?"

Their men rolled their eyes good-naturedly. The women reached out to touch their men's faces, pinching their cheeks to make sure they were real. The men groaned in mock pain.

"Ouch!" they exclaimed in unison.

The women were quickly swept into their arms, happy to be reunited.

"Did you guys cry?" they asked, their faces filled with concern as they pulled away from their women. They noticed the puffiness around their eyes, a telltale sign of tears.

"We watched an emotional movie where the main character died while saving his lover." Nina said.

Their men's faces softened with understanding.

"You guys are not going to be like that, right?" they asked, their eyes locked intensely on their men's, seeking reassurance.

Their men smiled and replied in unison, "Of course not!"

Shawn chuckled. "It's just a movie."

 "It's a true-life story." Sofia said.

"Nothing like that will happen."Jeff's face turned reassuring.

Troy shook his head, a hint of amusement on his face. "This is the reason why you shouldn't leave them together."

After some time, Shawn and Troy bid Nina and Jeff goodbye, their faces filled with smiles as they left with their women.
