Days later, the marriage preparation was fast approaching, and Karan's frustration was reaching a boiling point. After so many attempts, he tried again to convince his grandma to stop the wedding, but she refused.
"Can't you understand my feelings, Grandma? I don't love her," he said, his voice cracking with emotion, his eyes pleading.
"You will, with time. She is the perfect match for you," she said, firmly.
"You know I love someone else. Why are you doing this to me?" he asked, his voice laced with desperation.
"I am doing what's best for you," she said.
"This is not the best I want from you. That lady will never be my wife. I don't accept this marriage," he yelled, his fists clenched.
"You will, or I will take everything away from you and disown you as my grandson," she said, her voice dripping with menace.
Karan was shocked, his face pale with fear.

Later, Karan was in his office, trying to focus on his work, but the threat his grandma gave him kept ringing in his head. Just then, the door opened, and Samara barged in, looking furious.
"Samara," Karan called, standing up, his face concerned.
"Don't Samara me, Karan. How could you do this to me? You're getting married to someone else, and you didn't even let me know about it," she yelled, her eyes blazing with anger.
"Please, let me explain. This isn't my will, but my grandma's. I don't want to marry her. Grandma kept making it compulsory for me," he said, his voice soothing.
"Why then did you go ahead with the plan?" she asked, hurtful.
"I didn't. This is all my grandma's doing. She will never be my wife. I can never accept her as my wife. You are the one I love, and the one I want to get married to. Please believe me," he said, his eyes pleading, his hands caressing her face.
"I love you too, Karan. I don't want to lose you to anyone,"
"You will never lose me. I am yours forever. I might be married to her, but I won't accept her as my wife in my heart. You are the only one I want," he said, his voice filled with conviction.
"Fine, I will believe you. Don't you dare abandon me,"
Karan's face turned loving. "I won't," he said, and they smiled at each other as he kissed her forehead and pulled her into a warm hug.

Later that same day, Samara went out clubbing with her friends. They were seated in the VIP section, drinking and chatting, surrounded by the pulsating music and flashing lights.
"Are you going to allow Karan to marry another lady?"One of her friends, a petite woman with a curious look, asked,
"Yes, of course, I trust Karan. He's marrying her because his grandma forced him into it. Karan will never love that girl," she said, firmly.
"But what if he later falls for her and abandons you?"Another friend, a tall woman with a skeptical face, asked.
"It won't happen. My Karan loves only me, and I so much believe in him," she said, her voice filled with conviction.
"Just hope so, will you attend the wedding?"The first lady asked.
"Maybe to pay them a humble visit," she said, smiling slyly at one spot while sipping her drink.
Her friends smiled at her, their faces filled with amusement and curiosity. They knew Samara was not one to be underestimated, and they couldn't wait to see what she had planned.
★KABRI'S MANSION★
{Karen's room}
Karan was alone in his balcony, sipping from his drink, lost in thought. His face was etched with concern, his eyes staring blankly into the distance. Just then, Kiara, Sia, and Maya came over.
"Hey, Karan," Sai said, breaking the silence.
"What are you guys doing in my room?" he asked, his brow furrowed.
Maya smiled at him as she took the drink from him and led him to sit down on the couch. The rest sat down on the bed.
"We came to see how you are doing," Maya said, smiling.
"Really? Are you guys here to mock me?" he asked, his eyes narrowing.
"No, we are not," Kiara said.
"We are just here to sympathize with you since you are getting married in two days," Ved said.
"And we will always be by your side to support you," she added.
"Oh, please, Maya, stop this fake pretence. It doesn't suit you," Kiara said rudely, her face twisted in disdain.
Maya's face turned surprised.
"Look, Karan, don't listen to what my sister here is saying to you," he said, referring to Maya. "The truth be told, Grandma is pushing you too far to your limit, and it's time to take the bull by the horns," Sia added.
Maya's face turned shocked, her eyes wide with surprise. "Why are you two twisting his mind?".She asked.
"We are not. He knows we are right, right, Karan?" Kiara asked, smugly.
"You are right, Ved. I don't want this marriage. I don't even love her," Karan said.
"Exactly! I am with you. I will advise you to make hell for her, let her feel rejected in this marriage," Sia said, his eyes glinting with malice.
"Why will you suggest that, Sai?" Maya asked, her face horrified.
"Shut up, Maya. No one called you here. If you were in his shoes, being forced into marriage, you would do worse," Kiara said, rudely.
"Don't listen to them, Karan. I can feel your betrothed is a nice lady," Maya said, trying to reason with him.
"I don't care. If this is what Grandma wants, I will give it to her," Karan said, smirking as he stood up and left the room, leaving the others staring after him.
Sia and Kiara smirked at each other, their faces filled with mischief.
Maya stared hard at them, her face filled with concern, before turning and walking away.
"Let's make this happen," Sia said to Kiara, his voice barely above a whisper. Sonia nodded.

A day to the wedding ceremony, Karan was in his hotel room when a knock came. He smiled, his eyes lighting up with excitement, and hurriedly rushed to open the door. His face lit up with joy as he saw Samara standing on his doorstep, smiling seductively in her exposed mini wear.
Karan's eyes scanned her body, his face filled with desire, before he dragged her inside quickly and shut the door behind them.
Some time later, both of them were under the blanket, naked, with their clothes scattered on the floor. Karan cuddled Samara warmly on the bed, his face filled with affection.
"I wish we can remain like this forever," Samara said, caressing his bare chest, her eyes filled with longing.
"Me too. I just wish tomorrow wouldn't come. I hate tomorrow," he said, frustratedly.
"I trust you, Karan. I will be here for you whenever you need me," she said, her voice filled with conviction.
"I will never get tired of you. I promise you, I will make hell for her. She will regret ever agreeing to marry me".
"Of course, do whatever you want to do with her, but don't you ever try to lay with her or even try to sleep next to her on the same bed," she said.
"You know me too well, Samara. She will never lay down on the same bed with me. There is a couch she can sleep on. If she can't stay, she should go back to her parents' house,"
"I love you," she said, lovely.
"I love you more," he said, kissing her forehead.
