That same night, Arya entered the room, her eyes scanning the space to see Karan on the bed, engrossed in his phone, his thumbs flying across the screen as he chatted. A faint smile played on his lips, but his eyes sparkled with amusement.
Arya moved to the bathroom. After a few minutes, she emerged, her hair damp from a warm shower. She walked over to the closet, pulled out her blanket, which she had brought from home, and spread it out on the floor near the couch.
As she lay down, turning her back against Karan, her face remained calm, but a hint of sadness flickered in her eyes.
Just then, Karan's phone rang, and he picked it up, a wide smile spreading across his face as he saw the caller ID.
"Hello, pretty," he said, his voice dripping with affection, and placed the phone on speaker.
Arya sighed as she listened to the conversation.
"Hey, baby, how are you?" Samara asked from the other end of the phone, her voice husky and seductive.
"Not fine, I miss you."
"I miss you more," Samara replied. "I'm back in town now."
"That's nice. I'll see you tomorrow then." He said excitedly.
"Sure, I love you," She said.
"I love you more,"
They blew kisses to each other on the phone, and then hung up.
Karan's face glowed with happiness as he placed his phone back on the bedside table. Arya, on the other hand, lay still, her back to Karan, her expression hidden.

Two days later, Karan was getting ready for work when a knock came through the door. Maya entered, holding a cup of warm coffee, a bright smile on her face.
"Good morning, Karan. Here is your warm coffee you requested," she said.
"Why are you the one bringing the coffee to me? I thought I asked Arya to make me coffee and bring it."
"Arya is busy, she didn't get the chance to make the coffee. I did because she asked me to make the coffee for you."
Karan took the coffee from Maya, and took a sip before handing the cup back to her.
Maya smiled and left the room, her eyes sparkling with amusement.
Meanwhile, Arya and the rest were having breakfast in the living room. Maya joined them, and soon Karan came down, holding his briefcase.
"Hey, son," Jash said, smiling at him.
"Good morning, everyone," Karan greeted, his eyes scanning the room. They responded to him, and
"You're leaving so early?" Grandma Viti asked.
Karan nodded. "Yes, Grandma, I'm expecting some clients to come over."
"Okay."
Karan moved to kiss her cheek. "Bye, everyone. See you later."
He left, and the room fell silent for a moment.
"Arya, will you be busy after breakfast?" Sonia asked, her eyes narrowing slightly.
Arya nodded. "Yes, Grandma and I are going to Prayer Mountain."
"Oh, okay." She said, smiling forcedly.
"Can I come along?" Maya asked, smiling.
"Sure, we're all going."Zara smiled.
The group continued eating, the atmosphere filled with a mix of excitement.
An hour later, The group arrived at the Prayer Mountain, a serene and peaceful place of worship. Grandma Viti, Arya, Maya, and Zara all stepped out of the car, their faces filled with devotion.
Each of them held a tray containing offerings of fruits, flowers, and incense sticks. They covered their hair with scarves, a sign of respect and humility.
As they entered the prayer house, the priest greeted them warmly.
"Welcome, my daughters. May the blessings of the Almighty be upon you."
The group bowed their heads in reverence, and the priest began to chant prayers. He sprinkled holy water on them, and they closed their eyes, letting the blessings wash over them.
The priest then took each of their trays and offered the contents to the deity. He returned the trays to them, and they bowed their heads in gratitude.
"May your hearts be filled with love, peace, and harmony," the priest said, his eyes shining with kindness. "May your homes be blessed with prosperity and joy."
The group nodded, their faces filled with devotion. They prayed for a few more minutes, and then the priest blessed them once more.
As they left the prayer house, Grandma Viti smiled at the group. They all walked back to the car, their hearts filled with love, peace, and harmony.

Karan was done attending to the client after they signed the deal with him. He left with his personal assistant (PA) to his office, a satisfied smile on his face.
"Do I have any meetings today?" he asked, seating down behind his desk as his PA stood in front of him, holding a pad.
"No, sir, just a lunch with..." his PA began, but Karan's cell phone rang, interrupting him.
Karan smiled, recognizing the caller ID. "Hey, babe," he said, his voice warm and affectionate.
He gestured for his PA to excuse him, and the PA bowed and left the room, closing the door behind him.
"How are you doing?" Karan asked on the phone, his eyes sparkling with anticipation as he waited for a reply.
But as the silence stretched out, Karan's expression changed from anticipation to surprise, and then to concern.

Later in the evening, everyone was chatting in the living room, while Arya and Maya were preparing dinner in the kitchen with the rest of the workers assisting.
"So, Arya, I was eager to ask, how do you learn how to cook so well?" Maya asked, as she chopped the vegetables.
"We all know where we learn our cooking from."Arya smiled.
Maya's eyes sparkled with curiosity. "Let me guess, our moms."
"Exactly, when I was little, I always stayed in the kitchen to watch my cook."
"That's so cool, that's why I am learning from you, I want to be a great cook like you which makes my husband's family love me just like the rest of us in this house loves you."
"Thank you, let's hurry up before they get hungry."
Some minutes later, they set up the dining table and served each of their plates. Just as they were about to eat, the door opened, revealing Karan and Samara holding hands, with a luggage on the other hand of Karan.
Everyone's eyes widened in surprise as they turned to their direction. Samara smiled faintly at them.
"Hello, everyone," Karan said, a smile plastered on his face.
"Son, what's she doing here?" Grandma Viti asked, her face stern.
"Um, starting from today, Samara will be living with us."
"Why?" Roshni asked curiously.
"Well, I am pleased to announce to you that Samara is pregnant for me, we are expecting a child together." He said excitedly.
The room fell silent, with everyone's mouths agape in shock.
