A week later, everything was going smoothly, no word from Cindy and her cell phone remained unavailable. Sofia and the ladies came to a cafe to chill, they sat down having fun while sipping from their milkshakes.
"So, Sofia, I am curious, how is it going between you and Shawn?"Nina asked.
"Going well, everything is fine now since Cindy left."
Mabel's face turned annoyed. "Finally, I was hoping she disappeared forever and never comes back, she is such a pain in the neck."
"Yeah, I wish she never comes again, maybe she realised Shawn isn't for her and she left to avoid trouble."Sofia said hopefully.
"Yeah, maybe she got tired, but one needs to be careful too, she might be planning something huge.".Nina said. They nodded in agreement.
"So, Sofia, have you and Shawn done it yet?"Mabel's face turned mischievous.
"Done what?"Sofia asked confusedly.
Mabel's face turned playful, and she raised her eyebrows. "You know what I mean?" Sofia's face turned embarrassed, and she scoffed, sipping her drink, understanding what Mabel meant.
"Why? Why are you two taking too long to get down to business."Nina asked curiously.
Sofia's face turned nervous. "Nothing, we still have time for that." They grinned at her.
Meanwhile, Diana and her mother were in the kitchen preparing a meal for Sofia, who told them she would stop by. While they were chatting, the doorbell rang.
"I'll get it," Diana said, rushing to open the door, thinking it was Sofia. She opened the door, and her eyes met an unfamiliar face. "How may I help you?" she asked politely, and Cindy smirked at her.
Diana's face turned confused, and she was caught off guard as Cindy sprayed something on her face. She fell consciously on the floor.
Her mother came out of the kitchen to see what was going on, but she was shocked to see her daughter on the floor. She tried to scream, and Cindy aimed a gun at her, and she froze.
Cindy's face turned menacing and Order her men to grab her, and they did, covering her nose with a handkerchief. She struggled for a while and fell conscious.
"Take them to the car," Cindy ordered, and they did. "This is just the beginning, Shawn," she smirked mischievously and left.

Shawn was so occupied in his office when his cell phone rang. He smiled as he saw the caller ID.
"Missing me already," he teased, and Sofia's voice came from the other end of the phone.
"Not really, are you through from the office?" she asked.
"Almost, why?" He replied.
"I'm coming over. I'll be stopping by my family's place, so I want you to accompany me," She said.
"Hmm, really? Are you going to officially introduce me to them as your soon-to-be husband?" he teased.
Sofia chuckled, and her voice was heard from the other end. "Don't be such a sweet talker. I'm not fully yours yet."
"Really? What do I need to do for you to be fully mine?" He asked flirtatiously.
"You know what to do. See you in a bit." Her voice turned playful.She hung up before he could say anything.

After getting off the phone with Shawn, Sofia smiled, and Mabel and Nina, who had been watching her, smiled knowingly at her.
"What?" Sofia asked, seeing the smile on their faces.
"Nothing," they said, and Sofia scoffed and stood up to leave.
"See you girls later," she said, and they waved at her.
Sofia got to where the car was and entered, seating at the backseat, operating her phone.
"Where to, madam?" the driver asked, and Sofia found his voice different.
"Why is your voice sounding different?" Sofia asked.
The driver cleared his throat. "I am sorry, madam, I am having a sore throat," he lied.
"Okay, let's go to my boss's office," Sofia said, and the driver started the car engine and drove off.
Unknown to her, her assigned driver and bodyguard were knocked unconscious and placed in the booth.
Along the road, Sofia noticed the driver and the guard in the front seat suddenly put on facemasks. When she tried to ask what was going on, they sprayed something on her face. She became dizzy and fell unconscious on the seat.

Some minutes later, Shawn was getting worried why Sofia hasn't stopped by his office, he tried her cell phone, but it wasn't connecting, he tried her guard cell phone and the same thing happened. "What's going on? Why is her cell phone not connecting all of a sudden." He sighed tiredly and continued to try the number.
In an abandoned building, Sofia started to regain consciousness, she opened her eyes weakly and groaned in pain, she tried to get up when she noticed she was tied up, she looked around to see herself on the bed, her hands tied wide to the edge of the bed and the building was wide as ever, she turned to her left and right-hand side to see three hefty men with thick muscles and they were on men's pants and Sofia could see the size of their d3ck.
"What...." She got interrupted.
"You are finally awake, I thought you would die in your sleep, what a waste." Cindy said.
Sofia met eyes with Cindy. "You!"
"Yes, me, say hi to your family." Cindy said smirking.
Sofia turned to the other side to see her family tied to a big pillar and their mouths tied too, she looked up to see a hot boiling kettle under their heads ready to pour on them if they moved, she gasped.
"Mom! Grandma!" She flinched in fear.
"Don't bother, they won't hear you, they are still unconscious, it will take them two more hours for them to realize where they are." Cindy giggled.
Sofia turned to her with an angry look.
"Why are you doing this?"Sofia's eyes widened in fear.
Her face twisted in anger. "To get rid of your existence, you are the reason why Shawn kept rejecting me, who the hell are you!" she yelled.
"Do you think doing all these will make Shawn fall for you?"
"No, he won't, he chose this path and there is no way he is getting out of this, he is going to choose me."Cindy's smile turned sinister.
"How confident are you?"Sofia raised an eyebrow.
Cindy's grin widened. "Very confident." She gestured to the men around Sofia, who were salivating at her. Sofia gulped hard, her eyes fixed on them in fear. "You see these men around you," She said, her voice dripping with malice. "With one snap of my finger, they won't think twice to devour you. If you really don't want to ignite my anger, just stay quiet."
"You won't get away with this."She stared hard at Cindy, her eyes flashing with determination.
She laughed, her eyes glinting with amusement. "I always did." She smiled mischievously.

Meanwhile, Shawn's face turned worried as he couldn't get in touch with Sofia. He drove to her family's house and noticed no one was around, only the smoke coming out of the kitchen. He ran inside and saw the gas was on, and the food on it was completely burnt. He turned it off and came out coughing.
His eyes narrowed, his mind racing with possibilities. He suddenly sensed something was wrong, and he remembered the bracelet he gave to Sofia as a tracker. The signal came up, and he rushed into his car, heading to the direction.
