We left the church, now angel Michael already knew how to open the door for himself so I didn’t need to help him again. The drive was awfully quiet for a while.
ANGEL MICHAEL
You did well today teresita but trade with caution so pride don’t fall into it the very day you become boastful will be the day the holy spirit will leave you completely.
TERESA
I have heard you. How come I can read your thoughts?
ANGEL MICHAEL
(He smiled) you can’t read my thought Teresa, I can only speak to you through my thought if only when necessary.
TERESA
wait so I didn’t read your thoughts back there in church?
ANGEL MICHAEL
no you can’t, you can read humans thought but not angels, God has given me that power to communicate with you with my thought.
TERESA
Awww that’s bad how can you can be in my head anytime you like and I can’t unless you permit me?
ANGEL MICHAEL
Glory be to God
Like seriously that’s all he will say “glory be to God”? I didn’t say anything I just drove us straight to the hospital to check up on my favorite patient, we got to the hospital and the people on duty ran to hide, no one wanted to stand or even face Michael and I. I ignore them and went straight to her ward she was reading her Bible, she smiled immediately she saw me and I smiled back at her.
TERESA
how are you doing ma?
she didn’t say anything rather she stare at Michael then said ” I have seen you somewhere before” I wanted to laugh but I held myself where could she have possibly see Michael ? ” she saw me in her dreams, that was where I healed her, its amazing how she still remember my face” my told me from his thought. I was shock but quickly covered it up with a smile. ” you appeared to me in my dreams, I’m sure it was you I saw” she told him. Angel Michael just smiled and touched her hand ” you are heal” he told her. ” I was right it was you” she was about to scream in joy I quickly covered her mouth with my hand. “Ssh ssh don’t scream your dream has come through you are heal, we didn’t see anyone at the reception, I think they are all hiding because of me we going to leave soon promise me you won’t tell anyone what you have seen”? I asked her. She nodded her head ” good if doctor P comes to check up on you tell him you want a re test for cancer” ” OK she nodded ” I kissed her kissed and we left immediately we entered my car I inhale and exhale deeply.
TERESA
What happened back there? How come she recognize you?
ANGEL MICHAEL
My master has given her that as a gift, he wanted her to know it was him who has done such great miracle.
TERESA
This one they are all hiding from me, will I still have a job to return to?
ANGEL MICHAEL
When you get to work tomorrow you will say “glory glory to you lord”
TERESA
I don’t understand you.
He only smiled and looked out the window, ignore him too since he didn’t have any clothes except the one he wore yesterday and still wore to church this morning I drove us to where we could get some fine clothes for him. We got to the place I came from the car and he did the same, he walked behind me into the shop, we were welcomed with beautiful smiles that was one reason I loved to shop there they can smile for Africa. I took Michael around so he could pick what he wanted but for 45 minutes we have gone up and down in the whole shop and he hasn’t pick a pin.
TERESA
If you don’t like anything here we could go else where.
ANGEL MICHAEL
like anything? You were moving and I was also moving don’t know why we are here.
TERESA
We are here to shop, I mean to buy clothes so pick whatever you want.
ANGEL MICHAEL
Do I need to buy this things (pointing to the clothes)
TERESA
yes you need to, you can’t be wearing one clothes.
He nodded his head and started packing, everything and anything his hand touches. The lady that was showing us around couldn’t help but laugh but would try to swallow if anytime Michael and I stare at her.
TERESA
You can’t pick things like that, some might not be your size and some might be bigger. (I spoke to him from my heart)
I watched him stopped packing and he spoke too from his heart
ANGEL MICHAEL
What should I do then?
TERESA
I can help you if you want?
ANGEL MICHAEL
yes I’m glad (I smiled at him)
I packed all the clothes he had packed and put them in one basket then I started selecting for him, I picked some fine pencil jeans trousers and some few T-shirt I gave it to him and showed him where to test them, he collected it and left and just in a flash he was out wearing one of the jeans trouser. I wanted to admire him in my heart but what’s the point when he could hear my thoughts.
TERESA
this is nice, you should try the rest too(he nodded and left)
After he was done testing all the clothes which suit his fine body perfectly we walked to the front desk and paid our bills before we left
It was really a stressful day for me, since 7 am that I left home it was almost 7 in the evening and I have not gotten home yet.
TERESA
I’m tired and don’t think I can cook anything tonight again so let’s eat out.
He didn’t say anything so I took his silent for a yes, the first and the last eatery we went to buy food, the lady had finished packing the food in a take away pack, she handed it over to me immediately my held the same hand I was holding the food with. I saw who was cooking the food she added some sustain in the food and mixed it when I have finish seeing all that he released my hand ” drop that food and let’s leave this place” he told me from his heart I dropped it immediately and ran after him
